Street Taco Taqueria Opens at Marietta Square Market Food Hall - Eater Atlanta

"Street Taco opens Monday, March 25 at 11 a.m. inside the new Marietta Square Market food hall. The taqueria becomes the first official restaurant to open at the 18,500-square-foot OTP version of Krog Street Market near Marietta’s historic town square. The 150-seat, counter-service taqueria features a patio and a mural in the dining room by Mexican illustrator and painter Miguel Mejía (aka Neuzz.). Tacos range from $3 to $4 each, and include an al pastor, tofu asada, chicken tinga, and blackened shrimp. The menu also offers tortas like beef brisket, chicken Milanesa, and Mexican street corn, along with snacks such chicken flautas (a rolled and fried taco) on the menu. Expect daily specials such as $10 burritos on Monday, Friday gorditas for $6, and weekend tamales, too. The bar at Street Taco serves margaritas, frozen drinks, cocktails, draft beer, and wine." - Beth McKibben

"Street Taco becomes the first restaurant to officially announce it’s opening this month at Marietta Square Market food hall. Tried Street Taco tonight with the family. We chose it because they had seating readily available and it wasn’t as busy as the rest of the market, so it was a little easier for us to hear one another. I appreciated that they had a good, small, kids menu. We ended up ordering the special of the day: tamales, along with kid’s quesadillas, and a side of queso. We also ordered a Clasico and Jefe for my husband and myself. The service was very good and prompt, however the food was just ok. The tamale that we ordered had been over cooked to the point that you could no longer it through the bottom, which made it hard to eat. The quesadilla and queso were both good, but weren’t anything to write home about. Overall, I liked the atmosphere and service, but I think I may try another restaurant in the market before returning to Street Taco. Our drinks were good, so if you’re looking for a spot to grab a cocktail or margarita, I would recommend paying them a visit.

Loved the atmosphere, mural on the wall is awesome, tacos are super tiny lol but weren't terrible. Garbage can nachos didn't come with all the meats like the staff member stated.

My wife and I came here on Friday July 26, 2019 at about 11am. We weren't coming here specifically to eat at this restaurant we were just browsing through the market to check it out. Stopped here to look at the menu and were intrigued at the variety. The place is set up in a very festive manner, with color decor and excellent seating area. I asked our server (Ebonie) a few questions about their tortas and she talked me into ordering one. Man I'm glad I did. I had a carne asada torta type sandwich, which is carne asada or beef chunks, lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour dough on a lightly toasted bun or torta. Absolutely delicious (pairs well with an ice cold glass bottled coca cola, which they also have). Trust me, you will love it. My wife had the same thing but with jalapeno peppers and onion. Ebonie is an absolute treasure, a very friendly yet professional lady who exemplifies what a retail business needs to reflect their standards. Will return and highly recommend!

I got the Street Corn, the Blackened Shrimp and hamburger on flour taco. Not bad. Would get again. Also had the strawberry and regular frozen margaritas. They made the meal even better. 4.5 stars. But I'll give 5 because of the costumer service. Very polite and helpful.

Pro: The place was clean and very approachable. They have their own bar and sitting area. The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped me pick out some food. Con: It's not a good value in my opinion. It could be the fact that it's expensive due to location however the fact that I could easily walk a few blocks and get a better value isn't good. Food was ok.

Everything was great very busy do the grand opening but loved everything. I think my favorite was the Al Pastor tacos. Salads were also large and fresh, will definitely be back

It’s a good spot. Quick food, pretty good tacos, very nice service. The outdoor patio is great too. Try the brisket taco! Only downside is the margaritas and cocktails are a little on the expensive side.
