Apparently, this cool little brew pub just opened in July 2018.
It seems like it used to be an old gas station or garage, but it's been restored and is very clean, shiny, and new. Inside, you'll find a nice roomy area with a couple of high-top tables. They keep the glass garage doors open when the weather is nice.
The brewing casks are off to the side and in plain view, so you get to see where all the magic happens.
Out front, they have about 12 picnic tables and a cornhole/bean bag toss game.
I ordered The Conductor - a Belgian Blonde and was quite impressed with it ($6 a pint).
Just one thing to make note of: If you are walking to this place after dark, there's about 1/8 of a mile stretch of road on Rhode Island Ave that has no street lights. It's in a safe neighborhood, but it's dark on this stretch of the road. Things happen in safe neighborhoods too, so just be aware of the lack of street lights. On the plus side, the county police station is in this stretch of darkness, so I don't think you'll have any problems.
I love small, local startup breweries, so please, please, please get out there and support this locally owned business. If you live in the area, you should count yourself lucky.
The *absolute* coolest thing I learned about this place is how they got their name - check this short video out if you want to know how the three owners came up with the name - it's really a cool story (it's only a minute long, so take a minute and check it out).
