Was serve RAW chicken, and server/restaurant did DO NOTHING, that is just beyond me! I worked in the industry and when someone tells me something is wrong with the food, no questions ask…the protocol is to take it back, refund them, and do what you can to make it up to them. The server just looked at me dumbfounded and said “I’ll tell the chef” didn’t bring the chicken back, didn’t come back to the table.
Let’s talk about the whole experience and the food itself a bit more:
- The fired chicken was extremely salty, it’s a method to make meat juicy but they went overboard.
- The batter on the chicken was inconsistent. 2 of the wings were significantly lighter than the others and after first taste it was clearly a different batter and was so dead that it was like a hard cardboard. Never had I ever experience such bad batter.
- Service was just not there. no check back to see if the food was ok, I had to wait for a server to make the rounds and eventually I had to flag them down
