Streeterville Pizzeria & Tap

The service was very friendly but we disliked the style of the Detroit Pizza which is more like Pizza bread with just a little bit of sauce and very difficult to cut. And we also disliked the hand tossed pizza which reminded us a little of high quality cafeteria pizza. The breadsticks were great though. If i come back it'll be for breadsticks, salad, ans beer..but if you love Chicago style pizza..this is NOT the place! Another thing worth noting is that the detroit pizza takes quite some time to cook..something to keep in mind if you need to be fast.

Fantastic pizza, great atmosphere, cool neighborhood; and friendly staff. Service was fast and on point. I love the history this resturant represents to streeterville. I recommend their hard cider delicious and not too sweet. One of the best pizza crust in Chicago. Their red Sauce is perfect. Love how they add shaved cheese to their pies. My guess it's a type of parmesan it adds a nice hint of salt.

Amazing! I will be back here every time I visit Chicago! Jamie our server was the bomb! Come here and get the margarita pizza- you’ll fall in love!

Ive been waiting for all the ownership squabbles to be over. I dont know what they were fighting about. Below avarage

Nothing bad to say about the food. It was disappointing that they were out of two appetizers, but the breadsticks were very good. The bread was super soft with melted cheese on top. We got the G&G pizza, which had ricotta stuffed crust, truffles, mushrooms, and prosciutto. It was amazing!!! The service was bad. Our waiter was terrible. He wasn’t attentive, kept walking out of the restaurant to be on his phone, and did not ever ask if we needed anything whenever he dropped any food/drinks off. The bartender made up for our waiter’s terrible service. I could tell he was picking up this waiter’s slack as he made drinks and also waited on the tables, making sure everything was in order. He apologized for how busy they were that night. He made the experience a lot better! From this experience, I’ve learned that I’ll probably never dine in again and most likely do take out from now on.

Amazing pizza! I've lived here for 5 years and seen this place go from one owner to another. The latest ownership has surely turned it around! Amazing pizzas, great atmosphere! Definitely a must visit in streeterville! Ryan is an amazing chef and he definitely has turned the place around! One of the best pizzas I've had!

Pizza had good flavor overall, but the entire outside of both pies were too crunchy. I am a crust kinda guy but it was pretty hard and not very edible. Our specialty sausage and mushroom pie had great flavor, if you got a slice with all of the ingredients on it otherwise it was just dry and not flavorful.
