StreetXO at One Za’abeel has a very cool and unique concept - honestly, I’ve never seen anything like this before. The whole setup feels edgy, fun, and full of character.
The hostesses and waiters are amazing - super cool, confident, and with their own vibe that really matches the place. Service felt relaxed but attentive, which I loved.
The drinks were a highlight for me: huge portions, bold, and very enjoyable - definitely a win.
When it comes to the food, I had mixed feelings. Overall, the dishes were delicious and well executed, but almost every dish had one ingredient added that, for me, didn’t go well with the rest. For example, the marshmallow drink had cardamom, which I personally don’t like at all. In one of the meat dishes, there was cinnamon, and it just didn’t match the flavor profile for me. With other dishes too, I kept finding something slightly “weird” added that threw the balance off.
That said, most of the food was still tasty, creative, and clearly made with intention - it just wasn’t always aligned with my personal palate.
Overall: amazing concept, great atmosphere, fantastic staff, big drinks - and food that’s interesting and delicious, but sometimes a bit too experimental for my taste. Definitely a place worth experiencing at least once.
