I come from Italy and everywhere I go I look for an authentic Italian spot. This place was a perfect blend of Italian and Italian-American cuisine. The flavors tasted fresh and very Italian, we loved their pasta. They also offer gluten free pasta and other options.

Came here for a date night and ordered bread & oil, two pasta dishes, and a bottle of white wine. The flavors of each sauce and texture of the pasta was absolute perfection. Only downside was the size of the restaurant, its elbows-to-elbows and the table was so small we physically couldn’t fit anything else on there. Got bumped a few times by waiters trying to squeeze behind myself and the guest behind me, but I would 100% be back for the food. Expect the normal personal space constraints of most North End restaurants, and don’t be surprised by all the screens around the restaurant playing the Godfather. Paccheri Di Fungi - seasonal mushroom trifolati, truffle cream, toasted hazelnuts Spaghetti Pesto - grilled zucchini pesto, garlic breadcrumbs, spicy ricotta

If you can get a table, you will never forget it. Where else can you dine with a prime minister of a foreign country….. what an amazing experience, and the waiter was beyond authentic Italian. Food was the best I’ve ever had on Hanover St. Period.

Went a month ago, not good. So I went back tonight, not much better. Place is so loud and crowded, can barely talk. Bread and Sangria were excellent. Wait staff gruff old style older Italian guys, some people find it appealing I guess. Chicken lemonchello was ok, the pesce ciopino was fairly good but not worth the $63 price tag. Food was ok, service ok, ambience loud but fun. If you’re gonna try the Strega brand, maybe try one of the other restaurants.

Life is Short. F…it up. Family, Flavor, Friends Haven’t wanted to check out this place for a long time at high expectations. Sitting down for dinner at this place was very loud and very crowded. I forget how small the restaurants are in the north end. Who is at the whip ricotta the calamari. The Bolognese, the Alfredo, pasta and much anticipated wheel of cheese pasta. All all the food was just mediocre. Unfortunately I had such high hopes. The pasta in the wheel of cheese was also very disappointment as they just did it with hot water instead of the liquor. It’s supposed to be a show at a dinner that they bring over to your table but because the restaurant was so small we had to go to the other side of the restaurant just to watch him Scrape the cheese with spoons and hot water. I know the north end is known for spray, food and great flavors. I guess this time was an off night..

Had high hopes for this place but it just didn’t live up to them. Firstly, how doesn’t a place this established have an actual legit bartender on a Saturday night!? Asked for an old fashioned and what was brought out looked and tasted like grape juice. We politely asked our server to bring it back and try another one but what came back was even worse! (A syrup bomb!) Needless to say I forgoed the old fashion’s for the night in favor of something I think the bartender was capable of (beer and wine). The establishment itself is charming but very cramped, which I expected being in the city. The only thing I wasn’t expecting was how can they have a men’s room where you cannot open the door fully because it hits the toilet!? So you have to open it partially and step over the toilet to get in…… CRAZYYYY. Other than that the food was decent, nothing special and our waiter was very nice and attentive. I personally would not go back.

Google
We stopped for Monday lunch, excellent food and wonderful service from Gianni. Very enjoyable, thank you.

Google
Quick late lunch. We had the eggplant rolattini and gnocchi. Sauce flavor was excellent. There was more sauce and cheese to gnocchi which were swimming in sauce so not as enjoyable. The eggplant flavor was very good, I like a bit more spice and I like the fried eggplant crispy. So the place is iconic but had a few drawbacks today.

Yelp
Holy Mother of God, the food was so good. I don't live in Massachusetts, anymore, and I forget how great the food is at the best Boston restaurants. Somehow, I'd never been to this Strega! I've been to the Seaport one- more on that in a minute. The restaurant is small and intimate. There are tons of staff, all fantastic. They made suggestions, made jokes, and were very attentive and involved in our experience. Things I ate, don't judge me: Ricotta with honey and bread, eggplant parm, ravioli with a tomato cream sauce. All of this was perfect. If you are trying to decide whether to go to this one or the Seaport Strega, a few things to help you decide: The food is better here. The staff are also a higher level and Italians. The restaurant itself isn't as fancy, large, or comfortable as the Seaport Strega. The Seaport one has better views, lighting, space, chairs... But this one is more authentic Boston Italian. If the areas are what you are trying to decide, the Seaport is great but new. Lots of walkability right on the water and great bars and shopping. The North End is frozen in time, old school looking Boston. And it has the best bakeries you will find in New England (Mikes is THE best- cash only.) So if it's better food and more of a traditional Boston Italian experience, Strega North End. If it's a modern vibe you want, still good food but less soul, then go to Seaport. By the way, you can walk from one of these restaurants to the other. They are 1.3 miles apart. You can do the whole walk on the boardwalk. So you can eat in the North End and then walk to the Seaport bars if it's not freezing. The Seaport Strega is no longer owned by the owner of the North End Strega.

Yelp
I wish this place advertised that they play mandatory club music during weekend brunch, because it was SO loud. It's apparently their "thing", so it would have been nice to include that somewhere on their menu or website for people to decide whether they want that type of experience or not. The food and service were good: I got the avocado toast, which was reasonably priced for the area, and had the cool experience of the server grating the egg onto the dish in front of me. The hostesses and servers were also friendly throughout, though I wish they could have told us upfront that loud music would begin playing halfway through our meal. Overall, I would not come back here for a chill, catch-up brunch, since it's hard to hear each other talk. If you want to feel the energy of a rave over brunch foods, though, this could be the place for you!

Antoine B.

Yelp
Small place and very noisy. The food was. Acceptable and very overpriced for the quality. We had octopus for an appetizer and this dish was good. The gnocchi was awful . The linguine ala vangale was awful and salty. The waiter was great and friendly.

Douglas H.

Yelp
Very nice meal after Fenway Bowl. Service was outstanding. Our waiter was attentive and personable. Had the mamas meatball for an appetizer and the tagliatelle bolognese for main course. Both were outstanding. The meatball was a meal in itself. The tagliatelle was fresh and the bolognese sauce was spot on. A lot of people think Strega is more hype than substance but that was not my experience. Excellent dining experience!

Yelp
My husband and I were only in town for a few hours (drove down from visiting Salem) but knew we wanted Italian. I really wanted to experience the Parmesan cheese wheel pasta so we opted for here, as it was a spicy vodka sauce offered in the table side wheel. We made reservations for 6:45 on a Thursday evening and were seated right away. We sat near the back, which was probably one of the quieter spots in the restaurant. It was a very cool vibe; TV's playing old movies, beautiful chandeliers and just a fun spot - two walls boasted photos of what I assume was the owner with all kinds of celebrities! We ordered drinks and the meatball as an appetizer and it came out so fast & was served with a small side of ricotta which I really enjoyed! My drink, a berry limoncello, was very tasty & was not lacking any alcohol! The complimentary bread with their olive oil & balsamic glaze was SO good!! For our entrees, we both opted for the "That's Amore". Our server performed the wheel presentation, which honestly is all that I can say it was - for presentation. It was a little underwhelming (no torches etc) but the pasta was very good and the cheese itself was delicious! I was a little bummed there was no protein option with the dish - but it was beautiful saucy, not too spicy, creamy & the pasta itself was al dente (my husband said it was almost too "gummy", but I enjoyed the texture). We didn't opt for dessert or drinks after, but overall it was a great experience.

Michelle F.

Yelp
We had a pretty large group but had a reservation and still had to wait an hour to be seated, which was frustrating. The food was ok - I enjoyed the meatball but the that's amore pasta was pretty average and not that outstanding. We also got a few other apps which I thought were all just ok! Definitely more of a touristy spot - there's definitely better Italian elsewhere without such a long wait!

Yelp
Don't order the chicken parm. It came out in record time and it had definitely been prepared ahead of time and reheated. I cannot attest to anything else on the menu, since all four of us order the same dish. I hate paying high prices for mediocre food. The staff was pleasant, so I gave this place 3 stars. I'm sure that I'm going to get a mafia hit for writing this review.

Yelp
*OVERALL 3.5/5* Food: (3/5) 1) Calamari (4/5) 2) Arugula Salad (4/5) 3) Cheese Ravioli w/ white garlic wine sauce *made To order* (4.5/5) 4) Chicken Parm over fusilli w/ vodka sauce (2/5) Service: (4/5) -The wait service was all good, the owner, big Italian guy, was great. we didn't have to think about flagging down our waiter at any point. BUT "Strega Dave" the bald waiter is a big p*rvert And makes it his goal to harass every girl at the restaurant... you will see! Ambiance: (4.5/5) -They had "cute" Valentine's Day decorations, and the music wasn't too loud. Interesting people, this is where Strega Dave actually adds value.... Because you can watch him try and wheel every girl and famous guy at the restaurant for free!

Yelp
Came here for a birthday dinner and got the vodka pasta that is prepared in the cheese wheel! Such a cool experience to finally try and see and it made everything taste so fresh! Strega has a lot of good dishes but some can be smaller or bigger than others. The vodka pasta in my opinion was just the right size but my friends that tried the gnocchi were surprised that it was mostly sauce with like five pieces and noted it was more similar to shakshuka. The place is pretty small but we were placed in a cute nook area by the wine bottles! My little lore for this place is that I found out the next day that Ed Sheeran had sat in the same spot the night before! Kind of fun that random celebrities come here for dinner when they're in town too!

Danielle V.

Yelp
Stopped here for brunch while visiting the North end. A little pricey for brunch, but as you expect in Boston. The food was okay, not crazy good. The service was great though and you never had to wait at all. The inside is cute and has a different vibe but with lots of loud music playing, so it was hard to talk. Overall not my favorite. Some of the lunch food coming out did look good.

Stephon M.

Yelp
I will never return here. The waitress secretly added to her tip! I just disputed with Amex! The service alone makes this place not worth it. Came here on a Wednesday night and was able to sit right in the window for 2. This place is smaller than I expected (i.e. the door to the men's room actually hits the toilet when you open it) Service was HORRIBLE.. we were not offered anything to drink by the waitress, we actually had to flag her down to tell her we wanted to order food after waiting for 15 minutes. The food was pretty decent as we had the fettuccini strega and the pollo parmigiana. The guy who carried the food out gave us water, utensils, and bread when he noticed we had nothing. The RED FLAG here is that our bill was $71 and the service was not worth a 20% tip. So I only tipped $10.. I checked my Amex statement and the waitress bumped it up to 20%. I don't recommend this place unless you like terrible service, with mid food, and potentially money stolen from you. Please keep your customer copy when leaving this place.

Martina E.

Yelp
Taste was phenomenal in its simplicity. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, the staff was warm and welcoming. The lighting was soft but adequate- perfect for a relaxing evening meal.

Jackie S.

Yelp
Walked in on a Wednesday night without any reservations, and we were seated immediately. The restaurant decor was very retro. There was a good number of people in the restaurant. However, it was also a smaller location, and tables were put closely together. Our waiter didn't seem to care too much about us and just did what felt like was forced. The food took a while to arrive at the table. Between each course, it took a while to arrive at the table, too. There were only two of us and it took awhile for both of us to have our plates. The food was flavorful but room temperature by them both plates arrived at the table

Yuni F.

Yelp
My friend ordered a delicious pasta dish that came with two scallops and two big shrimp. I ordered octopus that was really tender, so tender it kinda weirded me out because usually it's pretty chewy.

Michelle H.

Yelp
The food was phenomenal, quick service, great wine and cocktails as well. Highly recommend the burrata appetizer and the tenderloin pizza to start. All the pasta dishes were amazing, and even a gluten free pasta was fabulous (which is usually hard to do). Don't forget an espresso martini to end the night, this was the best one I've had in north end to date!

Tyler M.

Yelp
Fantastic food and service. Flawless dinner. They had live singers tonight that sang 2 songs beautifully for a brief bit of entertainment. Amazing night. Eddy was a great waiter.

Chad L.

Yelp
Parking: none Decor: very clean with old school mob movies playing on multiple screens Staff: very attentive and on point Food: tasty but extremely hot Price: very reasonable for Boston's North End Overall: will 100% be going back to try the other dishes I saw coming out of the kitchen!

Stephanie C.

Yelp
The Pasta Amore was so damn good. So good that it almost, and I am stressing, almost erased my memory of the one hour wait time we had WITH a reservation. But it didn't and for this reason I will never go back. This is not the chefs fault it's the managers. We made an 8:45pm dinner reservation only to be sat well past the next hour! We didn't sit until almost 10pm! Terrible door managing with hardly an apology for how long we had to wait or an explanation. The only explanation we received was 'we have lots of celebrities that dine here'. It would have been nice to have someone say hey I'm sorry you have been waiting so long or maybe 'we took a drink off your bill for the inconvenience'. The food was good but sadly not good enough to wait an hour after a reservation time or to ever return.

Ayatt A.

Yelp
Strega brunch has been on my to-try list forever. My friend and I had 1:30 pm reservations but were 20 minutes late because we didn't know that there was a Christmas parade going on in the North End. The hostess was really nice and honored our reservation no problem. The vibe inside is so fun, with awesome photos on the wall and mob movies playing. It felt like we were in a club because there was amazing music playing, even though it was crazy loud at times and hard to talk over it. We started with some pineapple mimosas and french toast bites. The french toast bites were really good and perfect for a shared starter. After a couple of mimosas, I moved to the espresso martinis. I had several drinks over the course of the meal and never really got much of a buzz going so I think they could have been a bit stronger for the price. I had the Apulia Mortadella Croisant for my main dish. It was a big croissant that was meant to have Mortadella, basil pesto, stracciatella cheese, and crushed pistachios inside. This combination sounded so incredible to me but the dish fell really short. The croissant was stale, there was only one or two super thin slices of mortadella inside, and there was no basil pesto. It definitely had a lot of potential but seemed like there wasnt much effort put into it. I definitely enjoyed my time catching up with my good friend, and I will say Alexa provided 10/10 service and made the experience great, but I probably wouldn't do another brunch at Strega.

Mr L.

Yelp
Behind the tasteless food, obnoxious atmosphere, and mediocre customer service of Strega, there might be a person who once had a dream of getting into the restaurant business. If this is the case, I feel bad for that person. If Strega is operated by some restaurant company conglomerate--as it appears to be, I laugh at the money you wasted on an inept marketing team. This was one horrible dinner for the books! STREGA IS A TOURIST TRAP. It has all the trappings of bad Hollywood Italian culture: a dozen tv screens with Mob movies on continuous repeat, obnoxiously loud live singing (thankfully only two songs), ridiculously overpriced food that tasted bad, and a foul-mouthed waiter. We had the eggplant appetizer, bolognese, and sea bass. Everything was really gross! The fish lacked flavor; the 4 gnocchi were just hard, dense globs of potato and flour; the bolognese tasted EXACTLY like Chef Boyardee (in fact the first remake my wife said upon tasting it!); and the oil and vinegar to dip the cold bread was not even tasty. On top of the poor-tasting food, you're paying an absurd amount for each dish. The tables are foolishly small, you're crammed next to a neighboring table, the music is obnoxiously loud. It's gaudy, obnoxious, tasteless, loud, expensive, and just a waste of space, money, and a meal! They Panza across the street for larger portions, infinitely better tasting food, fairer prices, and a more elegant atmosphere. Strega is HORRIBLE! I would give it zero stars but am forced to leave one.

L T.

Yelp
Small space, old school mob movies playing and VERY LOUD CLUB LIKE MUSIC PLAYING! This was a very big distraction while enjoying dinner and conversation. Couldn't hear the waitstaff or each other. Vibe was fun and the cheese wheel man would often break out in dance to an up the crowd. Food was exceptional! I enjoyed the homemade gnocchi and this was decadent. Pillowy soft, cooked to perfection accompanied by fresh mozzarella. Piping HOT, which we love when eating out. Way too much sauce but absolutely delicious. My partner had the Tagliatelle Bolognese which was perfection. Tender pasta, creamy and meaty sauce and peas. Just the right amount of sauce too like traditional dishes. This portion was too much to finish. Bread was very good with olive oil and balsamic. Service was prompt and food came out in 10 minutes piping hot! Would love to revisit but the music was so LOUD, concert level loud-thus the 4 star.

Lindsay D.

Yelp
Stopped in here for brunch and got there just before the madness. Seems like it's popular for big groups - they have drink towers, celebratory sparklers and shots and loud music so we felt like we were in Miami. They have a small bar so we sat there and got some bloodys made with cucumber vodka, which were really good. The avocado toast comes with a hard boiled egg that they shave tableside, which was a nice touch and tasted great. Then we got the french toast and waffle skewers, which turned out to be a tall tower they pour maple syrup over with potatoes at the base. Everything was surprisingly delicious! Just know when to come if you don't want the party vibe - I think it's more calm and quiet at dinner.

Dominic L.

Yelp
Party of 4 ! First of all I would gave this place at least a 4 - 5 but ! The food was AWESOME the atmosphere was a little loud , the music was about a 10 maybe 8 would be better that's just me whatever not a deal breaker. But the reason you got a 3 star was because of your server Lucinda A. We received our bill, the wife says the bill is $170 OK! As I wait for the bill with cash tip in hand which was a good 20% , the check comes now it's $200 with auto gratuity! If Lucinda said hey there is auto grad. on your check we would have been ok with it but she never said one word. Did Lucinda A. assume we were not going to tip her and if I didn't know the bill was $ 170 I would have left her the 20% tip also which then she would be getting double tipped . Your restaurant would have gotten at least a 4.5 stars cause everything was good until your low end waitress pulled a stunt like that, not cool

Jane T.

Yelp
The food was OK. It wasn't anything spectacular and it was definitely brought down by the poor service. Had to ask for Pepper three times and never got pepper. Had to ask for water twice never got water. Without leaving along Megan review, I would definitely never go to this place again. Way overrated so many other better restaurants just around the corner. Extremely disappointing for all the hype. Maybe if the service paid a little bit more attention to the customers, the reviews might be better, but it was an awful experience !

John E.

Yelp
Underwhelming and not satisfying. $66 for a dry caesar salad and warmed over eggplant entree. I left hungry. Food was good. Better than the service. Service was attentive, but forgetful. Restaurant needs to up its game. When choosing a restaurant in Boston's North end. Just look for a restaurant with a line at the door!

Terry M.

Yelp
4 of us on weekend getaway made reservations here as we always try different restaurants in the north end. Service was prompt... maybe a little too prompt as we did feel rushed as we sat down didn't even have time to look menu and was asking for a drinks (our server was very intuitive ) Food was good and the apps but the atmosphere was loud like a club we were sat by the bathroom off the dining area so it wasn't as noisey.

Alexandra H.

Yelp
Food was good enough for north end. Service was AWFUL. Waited 20+ minutes for our waiter to even acknowledge us and the horrid service continued thru the night. Not friendly, didn't read us the specials like we overheard with another server, we had to ask for the complimentary bread, took forever to ring us up. Hostess was lovely and the bus boys were very attentive which was the only redeeming part of the service. Will not be returning.

Nicol P.

Yelp
We always enjoyed our visits to this restaurant. My husband and I live in the area and come here often for drinks. Yesterday we dined in and had a lovely experience. There were live tenor singers, service was excellent, and food was delicious.

Ethan R.

Yelp
Italian restaurants, coffeehouses, pastry shops and old-school delis absolutely pack the maze of narrow streets of The North End Boston. Strega is one of them and very well known for being a venerable, glitzy old-world Italian spot known for gangster-inspired decor & celebrity sightings. Having booked a birthday reservation for brunch, decided to look at their menu online. Unfortunately, their website is not up to date and the link for their Brunch menu takes you their Antipasti & Specialty Cocktail menu. Whilst the food was extraordinary and exceptional (more to come), alas the service was far from such! While there appeared to have been no shortage in staff, we did not know who our server was, not one staff member introduced themselves to us as our server and hardly any attention was paid to our table outside of our order being taken which was much later after we were seated. While there & observing how the staff operated, it became somewhat apparent that majority of the attention and focus was allocated towards the restaurant regulars. The staff & who I can only assume was the manager would very warmly greet the regulars and accommodate them accordingly. Unfortunately we felt particularly neglected. And while other customers celebrating birthdays received the "Birthday" treatment, we were left with none even though they were told we were also celebrating a birthday. And then came the bill and oh boy they could not wait to get us the hell out of there! Of course I understand they had other reservations to accommodate and tables to flip, the bill was snatched out of our hands with haste to be processed like their lives depended on it. And come to find out later on, the manager at Strega apparently has somewhat of a reputation for being rather rude. Such a shame because the food was indeed spectacular. Not entirely certain yet if we will be making a return visit. Sad rant over...!!! However, my foremost compliments to the chief and I'd like to give credit where it is very much indeed deserved...!! Rocco's French Toast They had me at Nutella-stuffed. It had been a while since I enjoyed a great stuffed French Toast dish, and this glorious dish delivered a wonderful & exceptionally flavorful brunch experience. Served with fresh strawberries, Godiva whipped Ricotta & pure maple syrup, the presentation was also on point in addition to the wonderful flavors. The bread had a light coat of batter cooked perfectly and stuffed with just the right amount of Nutella that kept the outside nice & crispy while delivering just the right amount of moisture from the Nutella on the inside. A must try for you French Toast & Nutella lovers out there. Sinatra's Specials Having a dish named after the "Chairman of the Board" himself, you'd think to yourself this dish would have to be worthy of the name. 8oz perfectly cooked twin Filets for Brunch, they've done Sinatra proud, and he would have been very pleased to have his name tied to this dish. The Filet's temperature was simply exquisite and seasoned perfectly served with two also perfectly prepared sunny side up eggs & a side of homefries. This dish was both beautiful and delicious. Prosciutto Benedetto Absolutely love a very well made & perfectly executed Eggs Benedict. And this dish was exactly that. Two perfectly poached eggs sitting on a nice layer of delicious prosciutto over lightly toasted English muffins. Of course the secret to a great Eggs Benedict is the hollandaise and Strega's truffle hollandaise completed this dish and delivered an exceptional combination of flavors that you want from a benedict dish. Highly recommended.

Yelp
I never review restaurants and this was the absolute worst pasta I have ever ate in my life. Tasted like store bought sauce.

Yelp
I was weary coming into dinner because the reviews aren't very good, but I was satisfied. We enjoyed our meals very much. It's a small room so I understand why service may be get you in and out, but we came in with that expectation so it was fine. Was definitely loud but again, didnt really mind it. Made a reservation well in advance.

Bob M.

Yelp
My girl and I were looking for a place to eat while in little Italy and stumbled upon Strega. Menu looked appetizing so we decided to give it a shot, what a mistake. Greeted with rudeness as soon as we sat down. We told our waiter that we weren't going to be having any drinks and he verbally started insulting us because we didn't want to drink any wine with our meal (didn't come off as joking). We watched him go over to the owner and tell him that we didn't want any drinks, maybe fearing our bill would be a lower amount and he wouldn't get a good tip, so the owner comes over and starts insulting us asking if we want Shirley temples, insinuating that we were children. I was honestly really shocked. Never experienced this before, I really wanted to leave but I wanted to make it work because I was super hungry. Only reason this gets 2 stars is because the food was decent. I would never return. The owner or at least who I assume is the owner ( bald guy) doesn't deserve any business from anyone. Hope this place closes.

Nick Y.

Yelp
First time trying Strega had heard great things about the food and terrible reviews on the waitstaff! But that changed when I got there from the start the host was super nice and inviting once we sat almost immediately, our waiter approached us and give us our menus even noticed when we needed a bit more time to decide what we wanted. Started with the Prosciutto & Burrata. It was actually good! Very light and flavorful! I wouldn't get it if you wanted something heavy to fill you but something nice to start your meal I recommend it! Then I got the Fettuccine Strega! It was good!!! Fresh pasta and perfectly cooked scallops and shrimp! Overall a great experience!!!

Jessica F.

Yelp
Had a reservation scheduled for a friends birthday for Strega's Sunday brunch. The reservation was booked for over a week at 2:30pm. We received a call day of the reservation under an hour before the reservation time stating that the kitchen closes at 2:30pm and we'll need to send someone earlier to order the meals for our party of 8. How is that the way you solve an issue you caused? To top it all off we're now receiving emails lightly reprimanding us for not showing up for the reservation. Mistakes happen it's understandable, but there was ample amount of time for this issue to be resolved in a respectable manner.

Yelp
Two of our food critics went to Strega North End on separate occasions to find out what the rave was about. Unfortunately on both occasions we were extremely disappointed. We really wanted to like this restaurant but with so many other great restaurants in the area, Strega isn't worth taking the risk. This restaurant clearly does not care for their customers. The first night we had a reservation for 4 and got seated an hour and a half after our scheduled reservation (waiting in the tiny restaurant) The second time we went they tacked on multiple items to our bill that we did not have. On both occasions we felt rushed out of the restaurant. We ordered the Amore pasta and didn't even get to experience the table side cheese wheel because our table was so crammed they couldn't fit it near us. Lastly, it's worth mentioning some of our espresso martinis were served in a wine glass with ice and 3 beans. They said they ran out of enough martini glasses. Overall, we were extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

Yelp
Came here on a double date since I've already had visited their other location inside the Park plaza Hotel, we decided to give it a try, overall the food is not bad, we try the Oysters, calamari, prime age ribeye and to say we were a bit disappointed. Great staff and ambiance but can't say the same about the food.

Yelp
What a truly amazing dinner. The pasta was terrific, the meatballs delicious. And the service is fantastic.

Yelp
8:45 reservation and they didn't seat us until 9:45. No place to wait inside so had to stand in the freezing cold for an hour. They made no apology about it - seems like this is just how they treat customers. The food is good but not nearly worth the poor overall experience.

Yelp
Well, it's just ok. The club music is VERY loud. The staff was ok friendly. The singers basically shake down every table for a tip. The cauliflower on the antipasto board was very good. The pollo Lemoncello was lackluster at best. Seriously a boiled chicken breast with zero flavor. However, the lemon caper sauce was very nice. Ravioli di ricotta was okay. Nothing to write home about. Sausage rabe was mediocre. The linguini vongole was the best thing at our table.

Yelp
Overrated. We arrived early for our reservation and still waited 45 minutes. Got sat in the back corner next to the bathrooms. Food was over cooked. Waitress was rude.

Yelp
I went to Strega to celebrate a birthday with a couple of friends. The staff was a little grumpy, but very accommodating to our asks. They gave us some complementary espresso martini shots as a happy birthday gift, which was very generous. The food was delicious and portioned well. The space was pretty cramped and a little uncomfortable with the staff walking around and hovering constantly.

Yelp
I was excited to try Strega after hearing so many rave reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was terrible. The service was slow, it took over a half hour to get water at one point and our food took well over an hour from ordering. My husband ordered the Seafood Scampi which came out cold and he got extremely sick after eating it. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe and it was fine for what it is. The decor is fine- the restaurant's tables can be tight but that is typical for this area. The Godfather plays on multiple screens all at different parts of the movie which adds a unique vibe to the meal. That being said, the intimate scenes made it a bit uncomfortable for a work dinner so just be mindful of that. I really wanted to love Strega but was truly disappointed by our experience. With so many other restaurants in the area, it's not worth taking a risk to eat here.

Yelp
So loud! This ruined anything positive about the meal and dining experience. The waiter was ok - a bit brusque and he rushed us. The music in this place is WAY TOO LOUD! The people at the next table were screaming over each other and we could not wait to get out of the restaurant. The food - it was really good - but I won't go back because of the ambience - it was the absolute worst I've ever experienced in any restaurant.
