I brought my grandson’s tire to be replaced. He had taken it off the bike, but couldn’t get the tire off the wheel. We called just before closing yesterday and were happy to learn they could do it. Turns out they had difficulty at first, but kept end at it. Reasonable price for repair. Superb customer service! Made my grandson a happy camper!!! The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all aspects of E bikes. There were no prejudices based on bike model, manufacturer or pricing. They helped me find the bike that was right for me. I was able to test ride a variety of bikes to make sure I was getting the correct size and that the bike felt good to me. They briefly went over the functionality of the bike and made sure I had safety equipment for my ride. Extremely happy with my purchase.

Bought my first ever e-bike from Strictly E Bikes and the experience was great! All of the staff members were super friendly and welcoming and helpful and answered all my questions. They also let me test ride the bike I wanted before I bought it. If you’re in the market for an E bike this is the place to go. Couldn’t recommend the store and the guys here more. Thank you! I live in Baltimore, but I drove 1.5 hours to Alexandria because this was the only bike shop in the area that had the parts I needed in stock—every other shop would have had to ship from Canada or China. The staff were excellent and very knowledgeable. I wouldn’t hesitate to make the 1.5-hour drive again if the need ever arises. 5/5 stars.

Great experience. Because they only sell and service e-bikes, they are very knowledgeable about all of the e-bike manufacturers. They were very accommodating to my needs and worked with me to get the bike and accessories I wanted at a price that fit my budget. The owner stepped in to make sure I was getting all of the discounts I was entitled to. They honored all of the discounts available online from the manufacturer I was interested in using. Overall a great experience. Following up on a previously posted review. I went back to Strictly Ebikes to pick up the bike I purchased on November 23rd. It had to be ordered and I picked it up on December 4th. I was available exactly 10 days from the original purchase, just like they originally told me. The staff person walked me through all of the operations of the bike and went through a check-off list for all the items we walked through. After a quick test ride, I was good to go. Before leaving, I purchased a few accessories. For the Velotric (bike manufacturer)-branded accessory, I was given the "Black Friday" discount they were offering on line, which was another plus. I installed the accessories a few days later and determined that one, a set of mirrors, were not appropriate for my bike. I removed them and returned them for a full refund. Once again, great service and overall a great experience. I highly recommend them for anyone considering buying (or renting) an e-bike.

I was very happy with the service I received from strictly e bikes. The employees were very helpful and not pushie and gave me all the information that I needed.I brought a ebike and it's working very well. They demonstrated all the features on the bike and took there time with me and I did have alot of questions. I shopped around and they had the best price overall of any store around the DMV. If your looking to buy a ebike, Don't waste your time, just come here frist....You will be happy......

Go here if you are interested in an e-bike and want a painless experience testing potential new e-bikes. I wanted to surprise my wife with an e-bike as she had been looking at them for some time. I took her to Strictly Ebikes and was overwhelmed with their approach and assistance. They were easy-going, well-informed, and highly knowledgeable. My wife asked to ride the one she had researched and thought she wanted, and I took a big red Velotric. We returned from our ride, and she asked to try the second e-bike she had researched. Both failed to convince her, so I suggested that she try the Breeze Velotric, which she fell in love with. I wasn't planning on buying a bike for myself, but I also fell in love with the Velotric Nomad 2, as I had taken it on all three of my wife's test rides, so we left with two new e-bikes. The staff was terrific!

My 4 1/2 year-old Specialized e-bike was having some startup problems. I was kept informed throughout the process as the problem was diagnosed and parts were ordered. Service was great. My bike rides like it's brand new.

I bought a bike from them and I can definitely confirm they are a real satisfaction guaranteed business, they went above and beyond to supply all of my needs and even gave me a great discount for the deluxe package and the extra battery I bought, it was totally worth it, I totally recommend buying from them. The staff is pretty helpful and nice, and the owner is very friendly and empathetic!

Looking at the previous reviews, this place must have really gone downhill. Staff was very nice over the phone, but the owner has no interest other than scamming customers out of their money. 50 minutes after renting from them, came back to find the flimsy bike lock they provided was cut and the bike missing. I immediately called the shop, and the other staff there told me that I didn't need to call police or file a police report. I documented everything anyway, with photos and emailed them all of the details to help recover the bike. Even had to uber back to the store because there was no rescue option. No reply to this - instead, I received an email from Asif demanding the FULL retail cost of a brand-new bike ($1200, and this one was pretty worn out) or he would take me to court and push for attorneys fees. I spoke to him to try to resolve it, and he said he had no interest in recovering the bike, only collecting money from me. Avoid this place at all costs - the staff seems nice, but the owner and how it's managed will cost you EVERYTHING. Instead of a nice bike ride, we got berated and taken to court by the owner.

With the return to work mandate in place (and a significant increase in local traffic), I was in the market for an e-bike to commute from Alexandria to Downtown DC. I wanted a torque sensor bike with a natural feel. It was also important to me that the bike was lightweight enough that I could easily transport it by car (or metro). Asif helped me find a perfect fit -- which turned out to be a bike that Strictly E-bikes didn't stock (though their stock is incredible). Asif ordered the bike for me, and Strictly E-bikes assembled it, tuned it up, and helped me find the perfect accessories for my commute. Great service all around!

They have stood behind their bikes with steadfast and diligent duty. If more people did business like this, business would be better for all of us.

We visited for a scheduled e-bike test drive that my friend had booked in advance, and the time had already been confirmed. I understand we arrived about 20 minutes before closing, but we still expected a basic level of professionalism. It seemed like the employee we spoke with wasn't aware of the message from other staff about our appointment. He said, "You cannot test drive, I DO NOT care whether you buy the bike or not", and just walked away--even though the store wasn't even closed yet and other customers were still there and waiting for his service. His attitude was rude and unprofessional!! OMG!!

I brought an E- trike that I had purchased online to Strictly Ebikes for assembly. They came highly recommended by other area bike shops who all referred me there. Cam and his partners did an awesome job. My bike was ready earlier than expected. They spent time going over all the features of my bike and it was clear that they were E- bike experts. I will absolutely go back to them for tune ups and service. They also have a great selection of ebikes for rent and for sale. They are about 2 blocks away from the Potomac River and the Mount Vernon trail, so very convenient. Overall great experience, if you're looking at e-bikes, this is THE place to go. Thanks!

The scope of review is on a terrible new bike purchase experience. First visit for bike selection was decent. Went back to take test ride of the bike. The salesman was not there. The staff was clueless. All the waivers to test ride was a complete hassle. Tells me to just to pick a bike? You are supposed to tell which size frame i need based on height inseam. Unable to rent the model I wanted to purchase for longer evaluation ride. The streets around the shop are dangerous for test ride.

Great place! Asif, the manager/ owner knows how to treat customers with care and respect. He is very helpful on helping you select the right bike for you, very attentive to details and problems, and acts quickly to resolve any issues. Strictly e-bikes has a larger selection of e-bikes and they let you test them before you commit to buy. What I liked the best is that there were no sales pressure at all. We bought 2 Asphalt Mokwheel bikes from them and we are very happy with the bikes

5 stars for answering the call right away on what was likely a busy Saturday afternoon and another 5 stars for the very polite employee that answered my questions. 1 star however for price. I have an ebike, have had a number of flats (expected as a I commute by bike and my car is now collecting dust) and I have never encountered this kind of price for flat repair. Technician estimated close to $100 with a new tube. I think $75 or so for just the flat repair itself. YIKES! Both REI and Trek (previously Spokes in Belle View) charge/charged 1/4 to 1/3rd that. I didn't want to write this review because of the nice Technician but then I thought of people like my parents that would pay that price not knowing they should price shop a little bit and might have accepted the answer of ebikes have their hub in the rear tire, etc. reason so need to be extra careful reason to justify the cost. p.s. REI takes 20% off of bike repair/maintenance for members

Bunch Bike Rentals and Friendly Staff! I happened upon this place by walking by in many times on my way to the nearby Trader Joe's and FedEx and noticing they had a Bunch Bike outside for rent which I had received ads for online as a great way to bike with kids. Not wanting to shell out 4K to buy one I was so happy to see this as an option. The staff were incredibly friendly in getting me set up to ride it and teaching me how it handles differently than a bike. The kids had a total blast since with my pedal assisted bike I could go pretty fast and they weren't confined to my smaller bike trailer. Given the amazing staff and easy rentals I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for e bike rentals / purchases.

I had a good experience at the store purchasing a new e-bike. I tried a bunch of different models and found the one which was right for me. Staff was knowledgeable and professional. I really like the store and feel it fills an important gap in the e-bike ecosystem. Direct to consumer brands offer value compared to those offered by bike retailers but I imagine many consumers are concerned about making such a large purchase sight unseen. Here you can see what's available in the market, what fits your needs, and what you like before buying. Assembly service is nice too I hope to see the store grow with additional brands but overall would recommend this shop as opposed to going direct to consumer.

Haven't purchased yet but been back twice and the staff is very informative, not pushy and extremely helpful. We are looking forward to our ebike purchase!

Please note my rating does not reflect my experience doing business with the shop. It's been open a week and I have not bought anything yet, just posting a first impression. A new electric bike shop located at the North end of Old Town. Stocks brands including: Lovelec, KBO, WTVA & Vtuvia, plus a couple of others, mostly in the $2-$2.5k price range. Friendly staff, keen to have customers take a test ride. They say they will work on/service any brand of ebike, however the store is still fitting out the service area.

I had a great experience purchasing from Strictly Ebikes. The ability to test ride your bike before you purchase is awesome, and they have most of the major brands in stock (and if they can order you one to the store if one they carry is out of stock). Noah and Asif were both really knowledgeable and friendly, and the store backs up their sale with free tune ups for the first year. They even installed my lock for me as part of the build, and personally drove a missing key to my house. All of that customer service is worth the little bit extra you might pay versus ordering online. I personally had a miserable 2.5 month experience ordering from Best Buy that ultimately left me mad and bikeless. Do your self a favor - if you're looking to buy an ebike, do it here. Leave it to the pros!

I just had an ebike serviced at Strictly Ebikes and couldn't be more happier with my experience. Asif and the whole team took time to explain what was required and eventually the work that was completed. They handled warranty issues as and went beyond expectations.

if you are looking for a new bike, may I recommend an e-bike that you will absolutely want to buy from Strictly Ebikes! You'll have no better experience buying a bike than from Strickly E-bike. Due to spinal fusion I thought my biking days were over. Now I'm comfortably riding each day because of the motor assistance it gives which allows me to ride up hills without pain. I test rode six bikes at Strickly E-bikes with expert advice, technical input and selection. They go above and beyond!!!

This is such a great shop on every level. Nice inventory, really helpful staff. We went in there as total novices to ebikes and they were very patient and thorough in helping us make a good decision. The owner, in particular, went out of his way to make sure my wife was comfortable in her test ride. Highly recommended.

What a great little shop! I got to test ride and then go on to buy a wonderful Velotrec ebike and the shop assistant, Noah, who helped me out, was so kind and patient, and even took me on a guided ride! They really care about their customers. 5/5!
