15 Top Sports Bars in San Diego for Football Season - Eater San Diego

"Home to over 150 HDTVs, although affiliated with Florida State and Boston College, Striders is a great place to catch a game no matter which team you support. Food options range from sliders and skillets to flatbreads and a chicken avocado club, plus drink specials like $20 bottles of champagne and $20 domestic buckets during brunch, and $15 pitchers every Saturday and Sunday." - Keri Bridgwater

Perfect place to watch big games. Outstanding staff. Wide variety of pub-like menu items.

Great service. Food is okay they didnt have a full menu because of comic con.

Excellent place. The staff is extremely friendly. If Ben is behind the bar, you will have a new friend within minutes. Great beer selection and almost all local stuff - including some items made specifically for them. I tried the appetizer happy hour and the food was very good. Comfortable for one person or a crowd. I'd give it a 5 but the interior could do with a bit of a 'refresh'. It is not old or run down by any means, just looks a bit dated around the bar. Looking for a small meal, just a drink, or anything in between - don't miss this place.

Stopped by for lunch in between conferences. Quick seating and service, staff was very friendly, excellent selection of beers. Menu was not as broad as I might have expected but overall excellent and would be happy to eat here again.

This place is very unique and stands out in an area with dozens of bars. I've never seen more TVs in a place in my life. You can bet on the ponys here and also get a great meal. The tater tots are delicious and the iron skillets are my favorite. The staff is attentive and fast. They also often have specials if you are in town for a conference and show your badge.

At a convention across the street, with a party of 9.... With a reservation. Quickly seated, ordered at 12:20- food didn't arrive until 1:45. Maybe you weren't expecting to be busy? Good food, but you weren't slammed..... Shouldn't have taken so long to get fed.

Great atmosphere. Came in and got a seat at the bar during brunchtime. It wasn't very busy, but we waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged by the bartender. Then a bunch of the things we ordered, they were out of (both eats and drinks). Once we ordered (not complicated food...literally a burger and an order of loaded fries), it took an hour to get the food. Maybe this is a problem of the bar and not the rest of the place. Once we finally got our order, it was really good. I will give it another chance, but the experience really brought this down a couple notches.

Always have fun betting on the ponies! Robyn the upstairs bartender is a doll, very attentive and friendly. The price of the food is high for the quality and quantity you receive; wings are small, meatballs come out of a bag I think, they're small. Overall atmosphere is fun, employees are pleasant, food is lacking.
