I have been sitting on this review for a minute now. I was debating on turning it into a video or a Google review. I seen this establishment being recommended by a TikTok influencer. I ordered the exact same fries he got but my fries looked completely different than his and the fries were disgusting. The fried fish I give it a 5 out of a 10. The Kool-Aid was dangerously sweet. Also, when I went to the counter, I noticed it smelled like marijuana in there, and I was the only customer in line.

I have been here one time before and the food was delicious! I came back tonight, not too long before they closed. The owner was locking up and turning the lights off. (I know…it won’t happen again) I jumped out and let him know that I had told my son that was in Nashville from out of town (for one night) how good the food was, and he let us come in and place our last minute order. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Amazing customer service and even better food. I love supporting local businesses especially when they provide such great service. 10/10…I will be back!! Definitely gonna check out $.69 cent Tuesdays next time!!!

In Nashville for the fireworks and tired out this restaurant both my boyfriend and I loved the food so much! We are back home and wishing we could eat here again definitely will the next time we are in town the wings were amazing we had the traditional sweet and sassy and the Cajun ranch with some Cajun ranch fries. The food was fresh and the best wings we’ve had in a long time and don’t get me started on those Cajun ranch fries so delicious! If you’re in town definitely try this place! 10/10

First time visitors from Texas, and this place doesn't disappoint! The mild wings were crispy and flavorful. The fried okra was probably the best side and I don't even like okra lol, it's the way they season it here! The fries were still great, especially the Cajun ranch fries. To top it all off they have KOOL AID! Yes you heard me right, Kool aid! This place hands down deserves 5 stars.

I went last night and didn't get ANYTHING I ordered. My order was completely wrong and cooked so hard I could hardly chew it. There was no breading on it just fried skin (naked) hard skin. I asked it the fries were "seasoned" as she stated she said yes...we were Both looking at them and knew they weren't. Anyway...I'm not going back! I understand MANY people like rap but while I'm sitting and waiting on my order I don't want to get cussed out by my music...total club vibe. It's cool for some people just not all paying customers.

My colleagues and I heard about Strikeout Wingz $0.69 wing deal on Tuesdays… hidden gem of Nashville! The manager and owner were friendly and the food was fantastic. Great wings at a great price. Also, they have great deals for ordering in bulk if you ever need catering. Definitely will be coming back and bringing others!

Wings are my favorite and when I moved here, I tried several places trying to find my wing spot. This is it.! Sauce is homemade and on point. Hot Lemon Pepper is the go to! Kool-Aid is the best too.! Highly recommended.

In Nashville for a few days. Like to eat local when and wherever it's possible. We attempted another Wing establishment but found it to be permanently closed. Strikeout Wingz fit the bill. I always get traditional wings and like a dry rub. The only dry rub was a Cajun rub. That's what I truly like anyway. The lady and gentleman that waited on us were very friendly and helpful. I got 10 traditional wings (got 7 flats and 3 drums, not a big deal). Just happened to be there on 69cent wing night too! My wife ordered the 3-piece tender dinner and fried okra. (The 4-star rating is because she did not get her seasoned fries). To be fair to them, they opened every box to show me the food. The tenders were so huge that I assumed the fries were underneath. So my fault for not looking for them. But they still didn't give them to us. The establishment is in a strip center with other businesses. It's not big, but there's about 6-7 tables/booths. When we arrived there was a couple of people eating in. By the time got our food...approximately 30 minutes...the place was packed. We decided to take out to our hotel room. It's all packed in to-go containers anyway. I'd go back again.

I'm not gonna lie I'm actually on my way up there again for their wings and it's like the 4th time in one week. I know these reviews are old , and I never leave a review but the crew is amazing!! Food is a 10/10 , I wish they were more in the open ,location wise cause they are amazing!! I don't finish my plates but I 100% licked it clean and my boyfriend was mad cause I usually have some left over !! This place is bomb!!

GO HERE! We showed up right after they opened on a Sunday. Food took awhile, I assume because they were still getting ready, but it was delicious! I had the catfish and my fiancée had the Cajun ranch wings. We shared an order of fried Oreos that they waited to bring us so they were fresh! The cashier was helpful to tell us of a new lunch promotion. Food was well priced and the restaurant seemed clean and had a nice atmosphere. Also they helped us with any sauces or items we needed. The only downside was they were out of some sodas but I'm sure that'll be fixed shortly.

Hands down best wings I've had...go with the sweet and sassy you won't regret it. The owner came out and talked to us he was awesome. The the whole experience was better then anywhere on our whole trip to Nashville!

Got diarrhea off of this food. I should have known something was wrong when I walked in due to the smell and lack of patrons. The Buffalo fries were good. But why would you serve me fake french fries with cheese that wasn't melted? Moving forward. The first Wing I tasted seemed like it was old because the meat was stringy. And it tastes like they had been semi-fried, then fried completely upon the order being placed. The sauces were mediocre at best. The diarrhea was probably the most powerful part of the entire meal. Kept me up for 2 hours starting at 2:00 a.m. in the morning. Will never ever return. Might actually call one of my old OSHA homies to come and investigate. But just looking at how piss poor the restaurant appeared, they're already sitting in fester. No need to add to it.

Good wings. Good seasoning. Wings are a bit small but well cooked. I give it a B+. The blaring TV for employees was a bit much. Get it to go.

Workers are very nice people. Wings on Tuesday are $.69, we got 24 and fries, paid $27 with tip. I like the buffalo sauce but it's not a traditional buffalo sauce, and they were a little too saucy for my preference. Lemon pepper are amazing, would like to try a medium lemon pepper some time. Bleu cheese could be improved. So far, these are the best wings in Nashville.

Tried this place for the first time today. What a pleasant surprise! Lady at the counter very nice. Order was correct. Wings were good but the sauces are AWESOME! Cole slaw was good.

Food is so amazing and the people who work here are so nice! The kool aid is some of the best I've ever had! Everything was on point!

I had the Catwingz and they were phenomenal the fish was fresh and crispy and perfectly seasoned! The wings were hot and sauced to perfection and were a great size! Would recommend to any and everyone!

The crisp, the freshness, everything was beyond excellent! The koolaid-Rita was delicious, and perfect for a hot day! I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, and they are such good people! Honestly the best wings and fries I've had in a long time. The sauce was very flavorful and the best spice! Fries seasoned great and crunchy. The price for the plate was really reasonable for the portion size and quality definitely will go back.

Solid wings, great ambiance but HORRID customer service, most likely because the owners daughter Aniya ? Not sure on spelling , works there, As she so prestigiously and rudely mentioned to me. she obviously does not enjoy her job with how rude she is to customers. I had just walked in and she immediately had an attitude asking why I was hanging out and not just standing in line, after ordering over phone. She continued to argue and try to prove her point on why I needed to be in line which I had no problem with until I said it's all good and she doesn't have to be like that. then... Aniya continued her rant and would not even let me get my wings anymore, saying she would HAVE to issue a refund. Other guests could even hear her among the loud music as she was near yelling at me toward the end of it, as soon as she gave me my cash back, she did not even let me pick my money off the table before she told me she would have security escort me out LOL. The owners a very nice guy but I don't know what's goin on with that one. Too bad , I just wanted a 10 piece , but I also don't feel like getting harassed for .69 cent wings You guys are welcome in advance.

Terrible experience here. Got the drink thirty mins after I ordered the food. After an hour, still no food. I went to ask the front desk and was told they forgot my order. Literally wasted an hour here and got no food. The restroom is disgusting too--there are flies inside

Mediocre I was excited expecting so much more since their occupying the former Legendary Prince's Chicken; say not close. Their sauce below strike out I was told would be hot Nah similar to the typical bar Buffalo; will not return. The wings were freshly cooked.

My husband went to get us food last Sunday. Waiting a whole hour and the food still was not ready. Went inside and was told that they ran out of food. It has now been 7 days and I have yet to receive my $57 refund on my card..... Maybe management is more concerned with their new ATL location,because they are neglecting this one. Not to mention the staff didn't even know how to refund monies they had to call the owner.

The food is good . But they're slow. In the 2 times I ate there, they ran out of my ordered items .

Had to come over to Yelp to write a second review of this place after leaving one on google and recieving a very poor response to my complaints, it seems that the owner is very unwilling to take any form of accountability for the extreme poor quality of their food, and any time anyone leaves a negative review of their food, they fight it til the bitter end claiming the review to be fake or wrong... An absolute joke, do not buy anything from this business. Today February 13th 2023 I ordered the Lunch special 6wings, I was the only one in there ordering took 10min & my food was warm not hot Fries were ok but semi cold wings were small & not crisp kinda of old why Food not hot‍ no 1 there. I may try again but I doubt it...

I want to start by saying normally my experience here is decent, but tonight was underwhelming. The guy at the front counter was sitting down on his phone, and didn't bother to get up and greet me when I approached the counter. After a moment he finally was done handling his important matter and began to assist. Not sure if he was hard of hearing or just not interested in doing his job. As I'm trying to pay for my order, he decided to have a full on unprofessional conversation with a patron that I assume was his friend. I sat down and wait on my order. When I got home, I didn't have any ranch, which I requested when I ordered, the wings I ordered was Cajun Ranch(Wet)- the wings I received were dry, and I was served an 11 piece not 12. I tried calling but the phone wasn't on, so I drove back. When I walked in, the boy tells me they aren't talking anymore orders, as if I want just there 15 minutes ago (clearly he doesn't pay attention to detail). I explained the issue and gave him my receipt. He goes to the back and I can hear the girl in the background ask, which an attitude, well what was on under receipt? And I exclaimed, not what's in my box. She gives me an extra wings tosses it the sauce. As he comes around the corner with my order, the girl peeps around the corner and says, you know you ate that wing. What I do know is I will not be back to this location (As someone who has worked in management and the food industry for 10+ years, I can assess these children have no professional guidance). Experiences like this can kill a business. Whoever is in charge needs to get it together.

I'd heard of SOWz but never pilgrimaged south to try, and now they've repurposed/same-purposed this former fried chicken mecca? Only a few minutes from my domicile? On eWING Drive?? The only more appropriate street name would be a megachurch on Escam Dr am I right people okay I'll see myself out. SO I CALL EM AND tell the man I WANT WIIIIIINGS and he says "that's what's up" and I order 15 with the "Strikeout". FOTW™ Z orders 15 "hot". Both extra crispy. I always say "if that's a thing" even though I know darn tootin it is a thing and SOWz passes the test cause he says "yeah that's a thing." PULLING UP TO PRINCE'S triggered nostalgia, walking in to the newly-painted bright red, crisply clean Wingery summoned joy-tears, and my Wingspectations™ soared. I tell the cashier I called in, she scans through the names, and asks the nearby shopkeep, is this Dude? Yeah, he chuckles. Since I never gave a name he plugged me in as Dude. Into it. When the Wings come out, he opens the container to present the product, connoting a mafia-like transaction. Into it. After a minor hiccup of FOTW™ receiving the Sweet & Sassy (seemingly their signature sauce) instead of hot, quickly remedied, we were on our way. THE WINGS ARE FRIED PERFECTLY, crispy (even after 10 minutes in styrofoam), steaming moist white chicken, sauced the way the Wingdom™ demands. Into it. And then: strikeout sauce struck me! It real. It hot. It real hot. However, I fear the heat is from extract, which masks flavor. While I was happily tortured, I have questions, like, this is extract, right? Will I ever taste again? Why was no cooling bleu cheese provided? Thankfully I had some BC but unthankfully, I didn't have much. I made it through 11/15. Safely can report that these are the best trad Buffalo Wings I've had in Nashville, but would love to experience something between hot and Strikeout that is more flavorful and less pure pain. If the Strikeout is NOT extract, what is it? WE'LL DEFINITELY BE BACK, and are psyched about a top notch Wingery so close, wanna try the Sweet n Sassy, and wanna know if I've falsely accused them of the dreaded Extract Wingfraction™. I thoroughly enjoyed the hot lemon pepper shrimp tossed in the sauce, the deep fried oreos, and the deep fried twinkie! These are all must haves at Strikeout Wingz on Ewing Drive. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Strikeout Wingz is located where the original Prince's Hot Chicken place used to be. I have had their Strikeout Wingz and and it's flavorful and hot! It is not for the weak. I would only get that flavor if you are off of work the next day. Haha. Their fries are ok. I think I will ask for mine to be fried just a little crispier as I didn't like them soft from the last times that I've gotten them with my meal. I would definitely come here again.

I'm originally from atlanta but I'm Nashville for school. I haven't found a good wing place yet since I been here until I came across this beauty! 1st I would like to talk about the customer service! Amazing! I didn't know how their lemon pepper tasted so the woman working allowed me to try all the flavors. When I tell you it was good, it was good. My food took about 10 minutes to make. I took that first bite and I felt like I was in HEAVEN!! Everything was delicious!! Will definitely be back!!

These wingz are the truth ..... They are hot fresh, seasoned to perfection . They are one of the best wingz in town if you ask me.

I am highly upset the fact that I just spent forty dollars plus a five dollar tip at Strike out wings located on Ewing drive out ordered a 12 piece chicken plate and the cat wings with the side of Mac and the wings did not smell like. Chicken it had a distinctive smell and taste to it to the point. My kids and I did not eat the chicken. We did eat the fish plate I ordered the the fish was cooked in black grease because my fish was black. The the fact that the chicken tasted as though it had been left uncovered or the taste of whatever cooler or refrigerator they keep their chicken in. Do not taste like chicken I am very disappointed. I live too far to take the order back for a Refund I will not go to Ewing location again The chicken did not taste like freshly cooked chicken. So it went in the Trash I had to leave and go get something else to eat. $45 was the waste of my money for food. I had to throw in the trash because of equality and taste of the food.

Do not order on line or by phone. Just go in order and wait. They won't even acknowledge your presence. Have your receipts pulled up on your phone to show them. If not you're out of luck. Then when they gave me the receipt they put a 20 min pickup time when it was actually over an hour. Half the food was burnt the other half was soggy. Ewing Lane Location.

My first time trying the wings and they were horrible.. lacked flavor and the sauce was not present at all sooo disrespectful to hot wings!! The customer service was nonexistent the young man was trying his hardest it was his first day so he did exceptionally well considering his circumstances. There was a middle age lady who was rude. Just left the Ewing Drive location. We arrived a little before opening (opens @11) .The male employee clicked on the open sign we went in . We were excited to try the restaurant which is new to us,it was our first and last time. We entered NO GREETING ,NO SMILE....approached the register the guy there was dry I asked a couple questions he was short and curt. So I decided against eating there due to the customer service and I'm glad I did because immediately after changing my mind on not eating I noticed that most of the tables were not suitable to sit and eat at they had debris,crumbs,sauce etc. on them. And we were the FIRST CUSTOMERS.My friend ordered anyway he chose Cajun ranch wings and Cajun ranch fries. He says" the wings were sweet there was nothing Cajun or ranch about them." And also the fries had shredded cheese that was not melted. The food looked thrown together messy and sloppy in styrofoam tray. After ordering he paid and we waited about 15 minutes got the food and he was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! The guy at the counter say"HERES YOUR FOOD HOMIE"!! Which is extremely unprofessional. Regardless of who and what you are outside of work you should always exude professionalism. Needless to say you can count us out as customers. I'm a Chef and I'm a stickler for great customer service and he dropped the ball . I would have came back with the trash food had the ambiance and customer service not been so piss poor. As for my friend he was not at all impressed with the meal and threw the majority away. Bit of advice if it's supposed to be Cajun ranch just do that give ppl what they are expecting also let ppl know if it's sauce or dry rub. And make your customer want to come back. Try at your own risk!!! I hope your experience was better than ours. And to Strike Out Wings I hope this helps you evolve into a prosperous successful business. Use this as a learning opportunity. Looked up best wings in Nashville, this was top pick and for good reason! The wings are expertly seasoned, chicken was juicy and not soggy! Even the "plain" tenders were anything but! Seasoned to perfection! Quick service too! Highly recommend!

Best wing place in Nashville and it's not even close, atmosphere is great, staff is great, and prices are very reasonable.

I love strikeout but this location disappointed me yesterday. Ordered catfish & wingz & mozz sticks. No condiments for my fish, was charged for ranch (which comes with the wings) and received no ranch. To top it off, asked for hot sauce flavor wings & was rung up for mild.. told on the phone that the hot sauce is really hot and i will get to try it when I got there, but meal was already made when I did get there. Wings were super dry as well. Go to the Nolensville Pike location.

Definitely good food and service. On arrival I had to wait for fries to be cooked fresh. Black owned business in a urban area. Prices Reasonable!

I ordered their hot buffalo wings today and they were perhaps the best I've ever had. Also on Tuesdays they are 69 cents each.

After hunting them down and finding out they had a location closer to me than I thought, I was excited to place this order. Upon arriving to pick it up I was advised my order had to be refunded because it was ordered under. 69 Tuesday. Now, as a paying customer I advise that isn't my fault, I simply found the amount of wings I needed and ordered them. The little girl at the counter got mad that I voiced my opinion and took on a smart alecky attitude talking about its not their fault and that I needed to pay the higher charge for the wings. She was completely disrespectful and nasty,, so in an effort to bring her down a notch and get her to understand I was only giving a complaint,, as a customer, I explained to her I wasn't trying to be smart at all but that I should be able to voice a complaint when being asked to pay more than what I already paid. I asked for a manager at which time she said she is the manager. She definitely doesn't need to be managing anything. I asked for someone else I could talk to so she called her mother. After she went to the back I'm assuming to talk to her mother first she comes out and hands me the phone. Her mother was completely opposite her, and was very nice and understanding. She explained this isn't the first time this has happened and they were considering closing the website because it keeps happening. She was extremely apologetic and completely understood where I was coming from. I paid the higher price for the wings,, although I strongly feel they should have honored the price I was originally charged. Unfortunately, they have lost what would have been a regular customer and I will not order from them again, nor suggest anyone else does simply based on the way I was treated by an employee that was supposed to be acting as a manager.
