Strofilia

"This always-bustling establishment near the fish market is a hub of authentic Greek hospitality and generosity. Whether you come as a couple or a large group, everyone gets the attention they deserve. The menu features a whole host of delicious mezze to choose from. Tamara with sourdough bread, tender octopus with fava beans, a salad of green lentils with smoked herring, orange and sultanas… This authentic food is packed with vibrant, honest flavours that hit the spot every time. The wine list features an impressive range of Greek options that won't break the bank." - Michelin Inspector

Google
Excellent Greek restaurant, with a limited, but delicious menu. They propose a modern, contemporary twist on most dishes. The wine list is really excellent. I warmly recommend the lamb, the octopus and the baklava icecream.

Great Greek restaurant in the center of Brussels. Not a tourist trap, but an authentic experience. The menu doesn’t have the standard dishes (like gyros or moussaka), but a selection of special Greek plates, meant to share. The staff is welcoming and friendly and they have an extensive Greek wine card.

If you are looking for a Greek restaurant with the finest quality food, this is the place! The owner told me about when he goes to Greece to discover the best food and also wines possible. I recommend it by far and the restaurant is so beautiful and authentic

Google
Nice environment, pleasant atmosphere nothing very fancy. Rather interesting wine card. I have to admit however, that I found the food choice quite restrictive and was surprised that the portions were not as generous as they typically are in a Greek restaurant, but overall the food is of a good quality and value.

Another place that really deserves their Michelin star. We had a great night with a great wine and incredible food. The aubergine rolls were so good and the desserts are marvelous. All of them. Kostas did a good work by serving us and giving all the instructions about the plates.

It is a not so small restaurant near place saint catherine plaza and the atmosphere is quite cozy. The friend who invited me there told me that this is one of the best Greek restaurants in Brussels. The Tarama sauce tastes different from other Greek restaurants that I have been before, but it is good. The fish with black rice is quite tasty, and the eggplants with meat is not bad, but not yet surprisingly good. Generally it is a good restaurant worth trying.

Absolutely blown away by the incredible experience here! The immortal Greek hospitality truly shines through, with everyone offering genuine smiles and an inexhaustible willingness to serve. And the food? It was an unrivaled Greek gastronomic extravaganza! Every dish was a delight. Highly recommend

Yelp
In short, Strofilia was great! We were visiting Brussels and needed to find somewhere to eat for dinner when we arrived. Coming from Paris we were full of all the French food so we decided to go Greek. As a Greek, I had high hopes for this place and I am happy to say it did not disappoint! We didn't have a reservation but it didn't seem like an issue as they sat us right away. We must of gotten lucky bc about 20 minutes later the place was packed for dinner and it was only a Tuesday. Our server was very friendly and helpful. He recommended a great bottle of red wine for us & we ordered all Mezze to share; we had the octopus, horiatiki (village) salad, tzatziki, biftekia & the homemade bread. All were wonderful! If you are in Brussels and in need of a delicious meal with great wine and even better service go to Strofilia, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Excellent Greek cuisine. Plates are moderate of size, but of great taste. I went with the suggestions of the lady serving the food and was not disappointed. The calamari and the oysters on bread/toast were both excellent of taste. The bread is served with a very good olive oil to dip it in. The main course (something with pita in the name) was feta and meat in filo. Really good. Drank Greek wines with it - there is a great selection - and finished with the splendid Ardbeg whisky. Will definitely come back here!!

Yelp
My girlfriend and I liked this restaurant so much we even considered it to be the best greek restaurant in Belgium ! At first, you will think it is really modern food but actually the presentation of the dishes is the only thing that is modern to it because the "mezes" taste like how they would be served in Greece. We really enjoyed the restaurant thanks to the service, the taste and quality of the food and the location of the restaurant. For once I can say it is worth the price it comes with !

Yelp
Amazing place. One of the best restaurants I have been to in Brussels. The quality of the food is outstanding. Beware, it is a pricy place but the location (especially the more rustic part on the inside), the quality and the service are simply exceptional. Ideal for a special occasion or if you want to spoil yourself once. The "assiette ouzo" was a lovely delicacy with caviar, anchovies and other very fresh sushi-like served fish. Totally recommend it. Also you should try their lentils salad with pastourmas. A total protein boost!!!

Yelp
First, I would recommend you to book a table, it gets really packed! We booked a table for two, but a friend joined in the last minute, so we were three. We asked for a table for three but they were not very happy about this. We had some problems but in the end they agreed to give us a table. (Thanks to my Greek friend!). The place: is really nice! Specially the part inside (ask for a table in the cozy-rustic part of the restaurant! The food: from a non-Greek perspective I found it really good. Quantity was not a lot, but quality was up to our expectations! The price: each dish is around 10 for the starters and main courses around 15! We paid around 35 per person, and ordered 2 starters and 3 main courses to share + wine. It's a nice place for special occasions! A big thanks to the Greek waitress who speaks Spanish and lived in Valencia, she was really nice to us!!

Yelp
An ok meal.... But perhaps Greek isn't a cuisine that lends itself to getting fancy. Definitely wasn't worth the hefty price!!

Yelp
Food was very good and the service was very friendly. The wine cellar is extensive. I recommend to go here as a group because they have plenty of space and a varied menu. Only problem is that it is a bit expensive.

Yelp
Really slow service and tiny portions at high prices. Staff are always frowning and don't make you feel welcome. Quite the disappointment as Brussels lacks good Greek restaurants and you can feel that the owner tried with this place when it just got started to do something different and have a high quality of food on offer. Sadly the place is overpriced and not very good. Not recommended.

Yelp
The place is interesting because of the good ambiance in the place, nice interiour design, fun concept with many small dishes (even though that ends up beeing more expensive) Nice staff that knows their wine and dishes. Playfull envirnment but still professional ambiance, located in the artsy street with many other nice places around for a drink afterwards or shopping in an artsy store.
