"In a confusing (and surprisingly common) Jersey Shore tale of frozen desserts by the same name with different owners, enter Strollo’s Italian Ice. The Strollo name is the pinnacle of Jersey Shore Italian ice, but Strollo’s Italian Ice in Belmar (not to be confused with the six locations of Strollo’s Lighthouse) is the best of them all. Served out of soft serve machines, this is not the same as the frozen ice cube of sugar water you can find at the grocery store. On the hottest days of the summer, this is what you want, and a twist of chocolate and pistachio is the best-in-class order. " - Michael Sinatra

CASH ONLY! The bow have an ATM on premises. I will still just be safe and bring your own cash. They have a good selection of flavors. I love the mango and lemon. Their soft serve is good and great prices for the area.

The italian ice is really good BUT they close earlier than scheduled and they will literally shut the doors on you even if you've waited on the huge line that they always have. I came to get some Italian ice again tonight and on Google it says they close at 9:30pm. We'll, I arrived at 9:06pm and the whole store was closed and shut down. Not a person in sight, which makes me think they must've closed much earlier than 9:06pm. It's very annoying. Bad business practices.

Not bad. Seems like a place that had a lot of history that moved locations and struggling a bit these days. COVID could be to blame. The Italian Ice tastes more creamy than icy to me, but it's pretty good regardless. At least 8 flavors to choose from. Service isn't stellar. Nothing inside other than the service window and a bottle water cooler.

Tasty, almost creamy ice. Three flavors in a small! Citrus is refreshing, I had the orange. Peanut butter and chocolate were creamy and delicious. Definitely going to freeze your brain if you eat it fast!

This is an amazing, delicious experience. You won't want ice cream after you try the Italian ice. It's like magic. I noticed a review complaining it wasn't ice enough. Trust me, you don't want it to be more icey. It's delicious Adding - only three of the Italian ice flavors have dairy (capacino, vanilla, pastacio). The rest, including the luscious peanut butter flavor, are dairy free! They also have soft serve etc, and my kids get mixes, but I don't waste cup space on anything but ice. Yum.

Can’t give 5 stars due to the subpar service and god awful ownership. Otherwise, this location is the only one worth visiting. The “lighthouse” ones are more like water ice. I highly recommend the peanut butter if they have it. Some flavors run out fast. Coconut hasn’t been on the menu in years since before they moved across the street. I can’t answer why and wouldn’t bother to ask. Amazing ice, cheap, but sadly cash only. The staff really could be better. The phone also never gets picked up to confirm hours. It’s all about luck and not confirmation they’re open.
