Nice spot close to the shore for a quick dessert/ sugar rush. Ice cream was good as well as the Italian ice. No complaints. It is CASH ONLY, so make sure you bring cash so you're not disappointed.

The Italian ice in machines caught me off guard but I was pleasantly surprised that it felt/ tasted creamy without seeming to have any actual dairy in it? I did not expect to fall in love with pistachio Italian ice but here we are! I'm already thinking about the next time I'll be close enough to one of these shops to grab more. I'm a sucker for good soft serve, and I really enjoyed their chocolate. I normally prefer custard but this definitely made me rethink that stance! The flavor of the day was tiramisu and it was perfect- not too sweet, and the cocoa powder was a nice touch.

I first discovered this place through an Instagram posting, and I knew I had to check them out. This is such an adorable cash only ice cream shop. The structure alone is very eye-catching and appealing. They have your standard flavors of ice cream of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry, but they also have the flavors of the week. They also have homemade ices and sundaes, and everything they sell is reasonably priced. I ordered the salted caramel pretzel and chocolate cone, and both flavors tasted great. The staff here is friendly as well. Major plus is that they have plenty of on-site parking and outdoor seating. If you don't have any cash handy, they have an ATM on the premises as well. This place is too cute and is definitely worth checking out. I look forward to coming back in the future the next time I travel through Long Branch.

Like another reviewer mentioned- it’s pretty overrated. The ice cream wasn’t anything amazing. What’s worse is that they are cash only. In 2025, there’s no way for you guys to accept card? Tons of places accept Apple Pay/Tap Pay. Conveniently, there’s an ATM machine by the side to make you spend more money. Very ridiculous in this digital age but if you’re just looking for some average ice cream close to the shore, sure I guess go here.

The tiramisu ice cream ($4.75 for a small cup) tasted more vanilla than tiramisu. The coco powder sprinkled atop was unnecessary and immediately blown by the wind onto my white clothing. There was no line when I went and all the workers behind the windows were extra cheerful. Parking is limited.

The ice cream is always good here. Try the cantaloupe flavour if they have it when you visit. It is so good. Its cash only so keep that in mind before you come.

It is always a treat when down in Long Branch- our group always wants to stop in to Strillo's in one of their many locations. To note: CASH ONLY! This seems to be the largest space ( long lines most of the time) with a bunch of outdoor tables, a sizeable parking lot, and plenty of street parking. ( across from Pres Beach) The soft ice cream and ices never disappoint and we love to get two flavors mixed side by side in one cup size. (We love to try new flavors) The flavors are always delicious and the toppings are insanely good and addictive. My family and friends seem to be in total LOVE with the cookie dough topping. We always love to visit when we can. I was able to get a few pics before everyone drove in! Enjoy!

The main selling point is their homemade Italian ice, but they also offer soft serve ice cream, shakes, hurricanes, root beer floats, and sundaes. What sets their product apart is the fact that they pioneered the concept of dispensing Italian ice through a soft-serve machine. This allows them to produce a consistent, quality product that could be made much faster compared to using the old scoop method. They have your classic flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry as well as a variety of fruity flavors like cherry and mango. They keep staple ones throughout the year, and rotate seasonal ones weekly. The Long Branch location is conveniently located right across from the Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park. The parking lot is tight. There's plenty of tables outside to enjoy your treats. They are CASH ONLY, but have an ATM machine. Lines can be long, but the employees work quickly and efficiently to keep things moving. We got the Pistachio Italian ice in a small cup ($4.75). Portion size was generous for a small! The flavor was nutty, earthy, and had a hint of sweetness. The texture of the ice was smooth and light. A refreshing treat to cool you down during a heat wave!

The staff was patient and kind, offering taste tests for what ever flavor interests your pallet. The Italian ice was perfect: color, flavor and most importantly the texture. If you are looking to cool off with some great ices.. THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE IN LONG BRANCH!

I've gone here for YEARS. Great product. My go tos are lemon ice and a chocolate dipped vanilla cone. The lines are usually long. The parking lot is tight. There are tables outside if you don't want to drop ice cream in your car. Cash only.

Refreshing, not too sweet, inexpensive, quick service-just about everything you want in a seaside spot like this. You may wait a bit but the lines move quickly.

I have a buddy i visit often nearby and lately its been impossible not to the the day with a stroll to Strollo's! Depending on the weather and the night, the lions could be pretty long, but they moved pretty quick . Cash only but there is an ATM on premises. I have not tried the ice cream yet because the Italian ice is just so good and up north I can't find anything similar so that is my go to. Blue Rasberry and Cherry usually! Top notch

This is a great place and very popular so there may be a line. It is worth the wait! I really like the Italian ice.

Nice little dessert stand located a short walk from the beach / ocean. Operated by three women, they offer soft serve (normal or dipped), Italian ice, and hurricanes (effectively DQ Blizzards). A number of flavors and dips to choose from. On the Italian ice side of the house they had: lemon, pistachio, organs, mango, cherry, chocolate, blue raspberry, peanut butter, and a couple others. Only vanilla and chocolate soft serve, but could be dipped in many things and/or topped with sprinkles, M&Ms, etc. I ordered the Large Italian Ice. You can pick up to four flavors. I chose three: lemon, pistachio, and orange. Lemon and pistachio were my favorites. A friend got cherry, chocolate, and blue raspberry. Didn't much care for the cherry or chocolate, but blue raspberry was very good Excellent value. My order was $5.75 There are 3-4 picnic table to sit at and eat.

I love love love this place !! They have amazing Italian ices and the best soft serve ever . I usually get the vanilla soft serve with a mix of Italian icees ( whichever flavor you get , you can't go wrong ) on top . This place is cash only so be sure to have some cash on hand . This place will not disappoint ! Plan your next visit!

When I tell you that this is some of the best soft serve ice cream that I've ever tasted.. I'm just really glad that this place is about 35 mins from me, so that I'm not pressed to visit a couple of times a week. LOL. Came here after a day at the beautiful Seven Presidents Beach.. and it was the perfect way to cool off before ending our day. Very friendly and accommodating service. They were generous and understanding with our very indecisive girls who needed refills of sprinkles lol. Very clean areas to sit down and eat your delicious treats. I ordered the pistachio Italian ice which was very interesting.. non dairy but was tasty. But, it was the sample of the vanilla soft serve that took me over the top... but, I'd already placed my order and didn't want to be a greedy buzzard. Believe me, when I'm back at the shore.. I will beeline to get a full serving of it.

After being at the beach I was looking for a refreshing Italian ice. When I looked up ices on Google Strollo's came up. It was a nice place to stop by after the beach. I went around 5 pm and it wasn't crowded, the service was fast. They have a lot of ice flavors but the ice I got was average. For a small vanilla soft serve and a large ice it was $11.25 so the prices weren't bad. They have outdoor seating and a parking lot as well. If your looking for a cold ice and a place to sit outside after being at the beach, this is the place for you

After a long day at the beach, this is the spot! It's located across the street from Seven Presidents Beach & Playground. There's plenty of parking in their own lot. They offer a huge selection of Italian Ice flavors and your standard soft serve flavors plus a few special flavors of the day - everything we ordered was delicious. They even gave us extra sprinkles in a cup when we asked.

I love Strollo's, I think the one in Red Bank is marginally better but this location is great. Tons of street parking available in the evening, the parking lot is tight and normally a traffic accident waiting to happen so avoid it if you can. I haven't had their ices but friends have and liked them very much. I normally go with their soft serve which is solid. My favorite is a Vanilla I've cream Hurricane (think Blizzard) with Peanut Butter cups or Oreos, delightful and a good deal at $5.50. Half star off for parking and half star off as recently I had a soft serve that was very icy as opposed to their normal creamy. Normally there are many tables to sit but with COVID19 some of the tables need to be closed. The staff is friendly and the tables are always clean.

Additionally, there is a variety of unique flavors of the Italian Ice (the peanut butter is a must!) to try. There is an ATM on-site if your stranded with just cards. The prices are what you would expect for frozen treats, averaging around $5.25. Outside speakers offer some mild rock and roll and oldies as you sit at the round picnic tables on the premises, ultimately contributing to the beach vibes and making the Jersey Shore experience simply unforgettable.

A summer staple! They have a rotation of ice flavors. I usually go for the squeeze cup or cup. I also really like the cookie crunch on the ice cream--it reminds me of the inside of an ice cream cake. Strollo's is a solid Italian ice spot and always busy in the summer too.

Many choices of soft serve and Italian ice. I personally prefer more creamy ice cream, but this is a convenient family friendly location right next to the Seven President Beach.

I bought their mango flavor bc mango is fire but it tasted like straight sunscreen, could not finish it I liked the setting and the store was cute , service was fast.

I ordered a combination of vanilla frozen custard and root beer freeze, which ordinarily would be a perfect combo for me, but the vanilla frozen custard was truly inedible. It did not taste like it was a real dairy product, and the gummy texture of it was extremely off-putting. The root beer stuff was fine, but that vanilla product was truly nauseating.

Cute store front. Ice cream is pretty good. And it's close to the beach. Nothing to complain about.

covid review: this place gets packed. mask up and order at the window. cash only! no bathrooms. the prices are so damn cheap! there are also soo...many..damn flavors! for the record, i am not a fan of ice cream but i was dragged here since i was with a kid. i loved the ice cream tho. precisely due to the flavor. i love anything that brings the flavor and my coconut ice cream with peanut butter hard shell nailed it. its very very messy so bring them napkins.

I have to actively stop myself from coming here every night. Their strawberry soft serve is the best. You can't go wrong with their array of ice flavors as well. Best to have cash ready to order for this place

Stopped in for some ice cream since jt's one of the few things to do during quarantine. Funny thing was we were actually at one of their competitors across the street and they were only taking online orders where you had to basically make your own sundae for $8, no thanks. Anyway, Strollo's was busy for an overcast Wednesday at the end of May but there were tons of teenagers there. Very quick service, 4 lines open to keep people part and plenty of reminders to do so. Their parking lot is busy, be careful backing out for sure. Also CASH ONLY! The ice cream is great and the atmosphere was much needed. Thanks Strollo's for providing some Coronavirus Relief!

For icecream, the people here have thought of so many flavors you could only catch at a reduced fat yogurt spot. Here, without compensating for the lack of icecream taste(like a yogurt place) you have the full rich ice cream experience, and full on flavor. Having never been, we went with my wifes go to, a chocolate dipped vanilla. Being that i was so full from another place, i couldnt eat even a small cup of ice cream on my own so we shared. The chocolate used is so deep in flavor, though frozen from the icecream, it still melts in your mouth with every bite. My in laws, also full, decided to combine their favorotes, a vanilla with sprinkles and a chocolate dip, and just looking at it, i thought how have I never seen any one do this before. Anyway, next time, I will make sure that I am not so full and will even try to take down more than one flavor at once!

Sometimes you hear of a popular place, go there & are underwhelmed. That was not tonight. My daughter and I took a 25 minute "stroll" from Ocean Place up to Strollo's. The place is a legitimate old school, walk up delight. I admitted to the server that we were newbies, needing guidance. She patiently described the choices. I went with a triple combo (vanilla soft serve with peanut butter and chocolate water ice. OMG... cold, smooth texture, not too sweet, flavor values are perfect. I truly truly enjoyed this. It's the best water ice I've ever had. Nuff said.

Strollo's makes soft serve ice cream, and also Italian Ices. Their Italian ice is not like your typical ice it's much creamier. The creaminess of their ice makes it taste so much better! They have all your standard soft serve flavors and also a flavor of the day. That's the flavor I usually go for. Today I had the pumpkin soft serve flavor, and it was delicious! My only complaint is I wish they had a couple more varieties in their soft serve selection besides just four. Another good flavor when they have it is Oreo. Their best Italian ice flavor is peanut butter! You can always check their Instagram page to find what flavor of the day they will be having. I recommend coming to Strollo's in Long Branch and try their flavor of the day soft serve or one of their Italian ices!

This was my first time here and although my sister loves this place I wasn't all that impressed. It was decent but nothing to be completely wowed about. Flavor selections are ok my daughter enjoyed the passion fruit and custard and my sisters staple is cherry and custard. The portion sizes are a tad small if u don't do the combo . They don't even go over the lip of the cup which is pretty weak considering what you are paying. I ordered a cherry dip just to give it a try and I do not recommend it . If anyone remembers those edible cherry wax lips that's what it taste like . I would possibly consider just the Italian ice if I come back .

Yooooooooo!!! This place is so good. There's a reason there's a 15 min line minimum in the summer! If you like cookie dough, be sure to ask for that because they LOAD you with that stuff. I would go back to NJ just for this.

Can't think of a better way to end a beach day at seven presidents beach than with some tasty Italian ice. There is a small parking lot available on site but it does get crowded. The mango homemade Italian ice was perfect. Outdoor seating available.

Seems like Strollo's has changed their ice cream - The quality of their product not what it used to be - no flavor. too bad.

It wasn't a hot day but ice cream is an all season food right? We were in long branch for lunch, and we wanted an ice cream so we decided to head there, because it looked really nice. The girl who helped us was really nice and quick. The prices are ok, the flavors aren't a lot, but I think they are the basics that a person would buy.. so I had a chocolate ice cream cup with hot fudge on it (DELICIOUS) and my boyfriend got a peanut butter ice cream cup with sprinkles on it. They have "tables" outside which if it is a sunny warm day it makes you enjoy your ice cream better! I would definitely go there again!

It was okay I got ice cream and the ice to try and they were both good. Is it worth the really long wait, I would say no but it's really cute and they have a lot of options so you can't go wrong.

Best Italian ice I've ever had. It's SO good. I come here every time I go to Ocean Grove. Great flavors, stellar customer service. Definitely a must! Tons of parking and outdoor seating. I get different flavors everytime and they are all delicious.

The lighthouse is amazing! Definitely one of my favorite Italian Ice places. Everything is always delicious. I definitely recommend the pistachio, it is so good. Also love the cherry flavor.

The best! Better than Rita's, better than the Polish Water Ice places spring up in southern NJ. Very tasty and a great location. I love Pistachio and they offered both ice and ice cream today. It was fabulous. I wish there was a location near me in southern NJ.

Wow- great soft serve ice cream and Italian ice! I got the vanilla ice cram and orange Italian ice and would definitely recommend, it tasted like an orange creamsicle. It was so refreshing! The service was really great & fast. They do have some outside seating, which is nice! But it is CASH ONLY, they offer an ATM, but it's good to be prepared! This was my first time coming here, it was highly recommend by my best friend (who is a local) and I definitely would recommend if you're looking for a good summer treat!

Really convenient location whether you are walking on the beach or driving from nearby. The Italian ice here is simply the best. Every flavor is bright and cheery, perfect for summer at the Jersey Shore. The soft serve is also good if you wanna just get a cone and wander off with it: nothing to clean up when you're done!

Okay I am not too into the Italian Ice thing..,I guess I just like the creaminess of a good gelato, yogurt or ice cream. This was decent, since it was pretty close to being creamy, but I am not too into the artificial flavouring or colouring. The pistachio colour looked very unnatural and mango, didn't taste like a fresh tasting mango. I ended up getting Orange, since I figure it should taste like a creamsicle. It was close, but not really. The girl was super duper nice though! A loves this stuff.

No matter what time of the day this place is always packed but they're always quick. I usually come here for the swirl vanilla/chocolate soft serve because you can't go wrong with that. I tried their pumpkin swirl and even though I am a big pumpkin fan it was way too strong and sweet. I never tried their Italian ice but my sister said it was good. Just an FYI it is cash only. But they do have an ATM outside.

I don't think I am breaking any new ground by telling you how good this place is. An amazing selection of just about any flavor of Italian Ices along with nice creamy soft serve ice cream. Try mixing and matching the ices and the ice cream in the same cup to create a real flavor explosion. The only real down side is that it is very busy so the lines are very long and because they are so busy, they can occasionally run out of a particular flavor. Prices are pretty cheap . Strange parking lot though. No one parks between the lines because the spaces are very narrow.
