It was our first time visiting this bakery, and we absolutely loved the experience. We were helped by the owner, who treated us like VIP customers—and we noticed he gave the same warm attention to the next customer who walked in. He was patient as we asked questions, incredibly knowledgeable, and even shared the story of how the café started. It truly feels like a community-oriented space, not just a bakery. My mom ordered the hot chocolate, and after her first sip she literally gasped and whispered, “Oh, that’s good.” I had the red velvet brownie, which was rich, decadent, and perfectly moist. I enjoyed it over two days—warm on the first day and cold straight from the fridge the next—and it was amazing both ways. The owner clearly knows what he’s doing. We’re hoping to return soon and would definitely recommend stopping by!

December 2025 Update: these are the BEST cookies on Earth. This bakery has excellent cookies made from scratch, cupcakes, and cake slices! I have had their espresso multiple times and it is consistently delicious. Get over to Strugglebeard for delicious cookies / cupcakes / cakes / coffee and a cool vibe. They keep rotating the cookie flavors, cake, and muffin flavors. Stop by for the latest!

I love their brownies! At first sight, it looks almost like a crime to have a brownie this big! It is very tasty and rich with deep and nutty flavor. The amazing thing is that even eating when it is cold, it is still gooey and delicious. I am looking forward to going back to have more pieces and try other items as well. The staff here is very kind, asking about warming up the brownie and getting the bag for me as well.

They didn't have food but they did have desserts. I tried the original cookie..it was ok But the Caramel cake slice was bomb. It was more like a pound cake with a rich and creamy Caramel. The Caramel was thick but not overly sweet. It kinda reminded me of peanut butter. The color was beautiful, that let's me know time was taken to make it.

Yes baby! The treats here are fire! I strolled in not knowing what I wanted, so I got quite a few things. My Uncle stole the blueberry lemon loaf. It looked kinda like a loaf pound cake. He was picking his fingers before even finishing his bites. EVERYTHING tasted amazing! I got the caramel cake, everything brownie, & Tod (lemon) cookie. OMG, smack me into a dessert coma it's that good. Probably the best caramel cake I've ever had. And if you've read my reviews, you know I've had my share. The gentleman at the counter was being modest about it flavor. He cut the first slice of the glorious looking cake right in front of me. I appreciate they leave the cake whole and it tastes like it as well. He also described everything really well. I had no questions and it was hard to make my decisions. The bakery is super clean with good music playing. I could see myself (and I will) sipping coffee, eating sweets, and working from there one morning. The vibe is cool & comfortable for any occasion. Beard game matters is now an understatement when it comes to baking! Thanks, Strugglebeard!

Catered an order for 60+ people, Quinton was super helpful in getting our order processed in a quick and timely manner. He hand-delivered the order to our building and everything was well labeled for those with dietary restrictions. The blueberry lemon loaf and the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies were the crowd favorites, but all of our order was gone within half an hour! Definitely will keep Strugglebeard in our short-list for future events!

2.5 out of 5. Pros: Service was good, very responsive and friendly staff. I ordered the Chief Bartley, which is a salted caramel oatmeal cookie. I also ordered the butter cookie (lunchroom cookie). The cost was 11.00 which is comparable to Crumbl cookies. Cons: the butter cookie was not reminiscent of the ones I ate when I was younger. It wasn’t super buttery. It had more of a flour taste. I also could taste a hint of favoring which was too overpowering for it to be a true decadent buttered flavor cookie. It tastes more like a shortbread cookie. On the other hand, the salted caramel had a great taste. I listed it with cons because unfortunately I couldn’t eat it. I’m very sensitive to smells, and this cookie smelled like day old egg whites. It just ruined the entire experience for me. But again the initial bite was very good. The mixture of chocolate and caramel works really well. I may revisit to see if some of the other cookie items increase my overall review.

If you aren't frequenting this Bakery whilst in the area, I don't know what you are doing with your life. Everything is delicious and you can absolutely taste the attention to detail. If you enjoy mass produced basic items, this isn't the bakery for you. But if you truly want to treat yourself, look no further. Quenton and his team are what's up!
