Order a bagel with cream cheese. Was given a bagel with the essence of cream cheese. Can’t say I’ve ever had to complain about not enough cream cheese before. Didn’t feel satisfied and was severely disappointed. A disgrace to the bagel community. As a bagel enthusiast I don’t know how I’ll recover. As one of very few bagel sellers on island step it up.

We grabbed breakfast from Stubby’s three times on our trip. The customer-facing staff was really friendly, and the eggs on a muffin (with a hash brown on it, of course) is something to look forward to. My husband ordered a four-egg wrap each time (paying extra for more eggs). Only one out of the three times did it clearly have four eggs. The other two times, the wrap was honestly paper thin and he was still very hungry after eating. One morning, along with breakfast, we grabbed lunch to take to the beach. A tomato mozz caprese and a tuna salad. The tuna was great. The Caprese… I’ll let the photo speak for itself 😅💔. We spent over $50 for two breakfast wraps and a caprese (perfectly fine if it’s the meal it’s supposed to be) but they weren’t even enough for a snack unfortunately. Overall, the inconsistency was disappointing. Hopefully owners/ manager can take a closer look at consistency and portions. I think that would make the experience much better!

Great place for food early and late. I have been here for breakfast and lunch. Today, I was here for an early dinner. I ordered the fish and chips. Large portions and friendly service. There are a few tables inside.

It was our first time in Nantucket. This place was on the list to try and it did not disappoint. The food was good and they're open until 2AM. We got two cheeseburgers the first day. The next morning we came back and got the egg, sausage and cheese sandwich. Then later that night at 1230am we got more cheeseburgers. Obviously we liked this place.

Stopped in after walking by looking for a spot to grab lunch. Opted for a cheese steak after reading another review recommending it, and despite being skeptical at first, it was really a good sandwich and when it comes to cheese steak, I am pretty critical. The staff were super pleasant as well. It's a very small spot, a few tables to sit at long enough to eat and get moving. Would definitely return.

Stubbys in Nantucket is hands down one of my favorite spots to grab a quick, delicious bite to eat on the island. It’s one of those rare places that manages to be fast and high quality at the same time. It’s also in a great location if you’re walking through town or heading to the ferry. You can grab your food and go, or hang out outside and enjoy the nice weather while you eat. It’s casual and fun, and the kind of spot that just feels right for a Nantucket day. All in all, Stubbys is a must-visit when you’re on the island. Whether you’re looking for something quick, comforting, or just really tasty, you can’t go wrong here. Great wings, great sliders, great vibes — definitely a gem in the Nantucket food scene.

Extremely busy sandwich shop hot and cold Subs they offer in addition chips and soda. Waited about 25 minutes for food then I went up to the counter and they have the food waiting all the time time that I got it it was cold and not very tasty. The gentleman that I spoke to that is the cashier very friendly very knowledgeable of the food. Probably would not return easy accessible right from the roadside.

Best Buffalo Wings on the Cape & Islands ... Always consistent Always Good ... Open late !!! + Jerk & Curry Dishes !!! Best Music !!!

Needed a quick bite in Nantucket and this was the spot. Got there right before 12 and we beat the rush. Many locals and workers poured in. We got the Baja fish tacos, clam strips, and clam chowder. Those tacos were fresh! Light and fluffy, seasoned well. Clam strips were amazing! Crispy, tasty, fresh! Clam chowder was a bit watery but good. Lots of ingredients chilling in it.

I had to feed my coffee habit so I stopped by Stubby's. I had a medium coffee for 4.00. I suppose for the island, that is a reasonable price. It is a hole in the wall but they serve coffee. I would return.

A Nantucket staple! Do not miss the Jamaican Jerk chicken. I tried the sandwich and it was delicious, as were the fries. This is a locals spot for a reason.

What a gem in the middle of Nantucket! It's a takeout place with a couple tables. Their menu does everything! But they have some special Jamaican items. I ordered a jerk chicken with rice and peas and my friend got a veggie burger. The jerk chicken was slightly dry but the flavours were poppin! Highly recommend this place! Also the prices are very affordable!

Stubbys is the perfect spot for any occasion! Whether it's for breakfast or lunch or late night food, it's probably got a little something for everyone. Being from a landlocked state, I always indulge in the seafood - so fried clams and chowder for me! It can be super crowded but the service in there is so efficient and you'll be ready to feast within minutes!

Don't get the Cuban. Lol all ham, and a sliver of roast and pork. Brought it up to the server and didn't want another sandwich. Burger and hot dog were priced accordingly.

Didn't want to sit down for a long lunch. We found Stubby with good comfort food that just hit the spot. Order online while browsing in the Whale Museum then pick up after 15-20mins. We ordered different food and all liked our orders.

Got mozz sticks to go! Service was quick and staff was nice. Ambiance is nothing crazy it's more of a to go place but was yummy and I'd recommend for quick food.

Staff was super nice, had left my wallet with a friend and the cashier was super understanding. Waffle fries were awesome and there were many different options on the menu

The food was acceptable but our chowder came out warm and not hot. We were hoping for something hot to offset the chilly weather. One item I don't appreciate is the staff really does nothing exceptional to get a tip. The customer places the order and picks up the order so what service is provided that justifies a tip? The owner should compensate them appropriately and not have a tip added to the checkout process when paying.

Wanted to get a quick bite on the island and Stubby's hit the spot! Had the fish sandwich as recommended by the gentleman at the register and my bf had a clam roll. Both were good. The food came out quick and we sat at the table and ate there. You can tell it's a super busy spot with locals and vacationers. Cool vibe.

I went and got a basic fried egg, bacon and cheese breakfast with hash brown patties on the side. A McDonalds comparison is apt. There's basic order at the counter service and limited super casual seating inside. The sandwich was good although the egg was over fried for my taste. The hash brown was hot and crispy which is what I like. I'd come back although probably not make a special trip to town.

Didn't want to go far, choices limited on the island, locals go here, so why not? Simple choices, cheeseburgers and fries. Island prices, so no complaints here. Street parking, no seats. All good.

The blueberry muffins & cinnamon rolls are amazing! Go early (6:00 am) and they'll still be warm from the oven. Bacon egg & cheese on homemade biscuits - very tasty! Cool vibe - locals and construction guys - very friendly!

Late night/anytime spot with a variety of fan favorites. My husband liked his breakfast sandwich and my turkey wrap was large and mostly turkey, just a tad dry. Very reasonable price wise considering it's right next to places where lunch can easily be $$$$.

Legendary little stop for breakfast or late night food! We stopped for bagels before going to the beach but it's also next to all the bike rentals as well

was very disappointed by stubbys because we had heard everyone raving about their food. maybe we ordered wrong but i didn't think you could go wrong with a chicken tomato mozzarella panini and jerk chicken with rice and beans. the bread was so mid for the panini and was overall just very sad looking. had zero flavor and i could make a better one. the jerk chicken is a very generous portion for ~$15 but lacked moisture and flavor. it had some seasoning rub on the outside but the inside was dry and almost tasteless. the rice was soft and ok. there were like 7 beans in there so i was kind of surprised at how little there were. maybe i would give them another try but it was extremely sad.

Great spot for a quick and affordable bite to eat. Everything tastes great. Loved their turkey sandwich and breakfast sandwiches. Super convenient as it is close to the ferry line.

The service was kind, sweet, and fast. I think I waited less than 10 minutes while it was getting busy around 1030am on a Friday. The sandwich was hot, fresh, and tasty. The only thing I'd change is the type of mustard on the sandwich but that's because I don't like seeds in my mustard. Otherwise, I'd order it again in a heartbeat. The bread was so good, I'd be happy with just the bread too! Highly recommend.

You want fast food. This is the place to go. It's like McDonald's but better. Service is great people are amazing.

Fried clams should not be expected to come anywhere near what yoou'd get at the old Easy Street. These are just clam strips that don't even satisfy the way HoJo clams strips could. Oxtail was a very big surprise. Battered fish fry was just okay. Burritos were okay too.

In a rush before catching the boat VSCO to the mainland, I ordered a cheeseburger from Stubby's. It was fine and it satisfied my craving. Seemed like a busy spot for locals and travelers alike. Solid choice for a quick bite on the go.

We heard people on our ferry talking up the sandwiches at this place, so we figured we'd give it a try. Solid, hole in the wall on a nice little block near the Steamship Authority ferry terminal. I had a simple turkey sandwich was very good, neither too big nor too small, prepared quickly, and the service was with a pretty genuine smile. We ended having breakfast here most days, opting for a tasty $6 egg sandwich over the hotel's $35+ breakfast, and it was faster and more convenient, too.

We got the fish sandwich with fries and the clam chowder. The fish sandwich was nothing special- just two pieces of fried fish with lettuce tomato on a bun. The clam chowder was very thick and I could taste the heavy cream.

Bought sandwich for the beach and decided to eat half and up finishing it. Excellent Turkey sandwich fresh Turkey thinly sliced on a grilled French roll. Must better then expected total price $14 dollars but normal island prices.

Delicious food all hours of the day and night! Fish tacos, burgers, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and more. The piece of fish was bigger than the tortilla! Great prices too.

Go to place in Nantucket! Order off menu the Full Send! Went multiple times during our visit and my daughter lives there and hits it late night!

A lovely eatery stand in Nantucket. We discovered Stubbys on the second day of a three trip, and went back two more times after. The food is superb. Hot delicious, deep friend and excellent customer service! For a minute there, I thought I was back home in the South. A must try!

I came here to get some chicken tenders for my kids when we were in Nantucket for a day. They were hungry for some fried chicken. The chicken was freshly cooked and the kids loved it. The staff were nice and friendly. They had some seatings available but we sat outside on a bench and that was nice!

There is nothing like this place anywhere anymore. 6 bros behind the counter all working hard and happy, behind the line, behind the register, answering the phone, prepping orders, calling out names. Fast and efficient and the burger is incredible, so's the rest of the blackboard menu - which never changes. 130AM in a rugby scrum with post bar partiers or a quiet Tuesday morning the place is the best. Much love to the guys running it.

They had good prices and were easy to find. Had fast service,burgers,hotdogs,salads.etc. few to no seating but didn't take a hour to eat either.

Good pit stop for food before the ferry. I had the steak bomb and it was pretty solid. You can order ahead which is convenient

Decent burgers, OK fish and chips and other fried seafood. Seems like typical frozen and fried fast food fare. Fine for a quick meal and prices are good, but probably not the kind of food you came to the island to eat. I'd give it 3.5 stars.

Stubby's is a great place patronized by locals and tourists alike. It's just down the street from where the Nantucket Ferry drops you off so it's the perfect stop for a quick bite. There is simply no good food to be had on the ferry so if you haven't brought your own you just might be a bit famished when you disembark and want something right away. Stubby's has an eclectic menu starting with typical burgers, hot dogs and fries but then moves into more interesting territory which includes thinks like Jamaican jerk chicken, curried mutton and beef stew. There are a variety of salads as well as several kinds of panini. There are clam rolls, fish plates and some deli style sandwiches. There are usually a couple of soups including a clam chowder. They have a few breakfast items served all day long too. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious. But since I'm no longer eating bread and I was wanting an egg and sausage, I had to buy the breakfast sandwich and deconstruct it. Not a big deal but I wish they would serve eggs et al just in a bowl or on a plate. You get get a variety of beverages here including a pretty good cup of coffee or an espresso or cappuccino. Service is quick and pleasant. It is a small storefront type of place and while there are a couple of high tables and stools inside your best bet is to sit outside on one of the benches and people watch or take your food to go. They manage to churn out quite a bit of food in such a small place. A great food stop, conveniently located by the wharf with reasonable prices. But don't forget; this is Nantucket. Reasonable prices are relative.

The line out the door everyday speaks for itself. I get the steak and cheese here and I must say it is really a great sandwich. They do a great job of being courteous with the long lines they have. Guess it's the island life no worries be happy thing. I love the sandwich seasoned perfect it just could have a little bit more steak. Prices are good for Nantucket.

i was in town looking for a quick lunch and heard stubbys was perfect so i walked over. their menu is so large and they have so many options! it's a walk up with 1-2 tables so it's mainly to go. i ordered a vegan impossible burger with a side of fries. it was ready in less than 10 min which i was surprised because there was a fair amount of people there! i know lots of people ordered ahead and came to pick it up! the burger was delicious!! highly recommend!!

Great place for a quick lunch stop. I got the cheeseburger with fries - not super expensive for Nantucket and pretty delicious. Small and cozy place.

Love Stubbys! always fast, friendly, good quality for what it is. Seem to have supply chain and staffing down, which is more than you can say for most places on the island. Super convenient location, down to earth vibe, fair prices. Their breakfast sandwiches are the best.

Remember when Taco Bell actually tasted totally awesome? If that's not you, don't get your hopes up. This is the 1970's version of Taco Bell, Nantucket. If you remember the Encherito w/extra onions, or the Encherito Supreme, then this place might float your boat. I've only had the Fish Taco's w/rice & beans, but I have a feeling that everything here is delicious. Next time, I'll order some of whatever sauce they put on the fish tacos for the huge portion of rice & beans.

this place is beautiful, the ocho playing on the tv is brilliant as well. not to mention there breakfast, absolutely mouth watering. also the popcorn chicken like heavy tongue h+o in this fine establishment. absolute beauties running this restaurant and i expect it to continue to be extinguished and delightful.

Ten out of ten I recommend this place. The staff are amazing and the food is delicious especially there Full Send which isn't on the menu but is still amazing
