Studio 3807

For the immediate area, Studio 3807 is probably one of the best or better options. It doesn't have vermin infestations, and the units are aesthetically nice. However, this place being better than the complexes infested with rodents doesn't automatically grant it 5 stars. Read below for an overview of pros and cons. --- CONS: - Like many new builds, corners were cut in the construction process, and aesthetics were prioritized over quality. This means that wear and tear shows up quicker and things break more easily, which gives management more ways to keep your security deposit. - Management is often incompetent or lackadaisical, and there's frequent turnaround. We were fortunate to live here when Kalimah was the property manager--she was by far the best, hardest-working, most caring property manager we've ever encountered or heard of. However, now she's gone, and current management is often gone from the office, doesn't return calls, doesn't know what they're talking about, doesn't keep systems updated, etc. We had to sign the same lease multiple times because they kept "losing" it. - Maintenance. Oscar and most of his team are very nice and well-intentioned. That said, they're very unresponsive/slow to respond to maintenance requests. Additionally, in our experience, they often didn't fix the issue (actually, more often, they made the issue worse). The experience seems to be lacking there. - Management is uber slow when it comes to fixing things in the community. There's supposed to be free printing; the printer broke months ago and management hasn't taken action. The gates to the garages often break (one gate was broken for ~9 months!!). One door in the garage has been broken for at least 3 years. - Noise. This place is right by a fire station, and you will hear it. Also, the drivers are generally insane and loud. You will hear this through the walls (unless you're hard of hearing). - The food hall attached (MiXt) is decent, but it's pricey. The coffee is way overpriced, and only two employees currently know how to make espresso drinks correctly. - Management is at their best when providing tours and trying to hook new residents. Once you've signed the lease and lived there for ~3-6 months, the effort decreases significantly. They are also saccharine when seeking a 5-star Google review, which they practically beg some residents (including us) to provide. PROS: - Management does put in an earnest effort to keep the community smoke-free. Smoking is still a big problem in the community (despite the lease literally having a legally-binding no smoking clause), but it's not because management doesn't care. - Nice aesthetics - Little fitness center is nice - Many utilities are included in the rent, except for electricity. This is convenient. - There is WiFi included with the rent, and it was recently upgraded. Now, it's actually decent for working from home (not heavy gaming or for someone who has a lot of meetings, though). - There's a generously sized lounge for the community. It's great to work in, has more than ample seating.

I’ve toured Studio 3807 property and really love the decor plus, the fill of this location. I would love to live here. Ousman was an excellent representative during my tour.

Leasing professionals did a great job showing the building, amenities, etc. Can't wait to call it home!

This was an excellent touring experience with a staff person who is only been on site for the past 3 weeks yet moved as if he had been there for years. He was very thoughtful and conscientious timely and responded to all of our questions as well as gay feedback that he would Circle back to address concerns at a later time. In terms of us looking at different options related to this apartment hunt I have to say the excellent service received from Studio 3807 was Top Notch as well Osmans service was impeccable. The facility itself with all of the amenities and so many too many in fact to name were outstanding to know that it's included into your monthly rent as well as utilities with the exception of electric. The shared spaces such as the courtyard the exercise facility and entertainment Lounge excellent excellent and felt like you were in a top-notch hotel for the area. Definitely number one on the list for consideration possibly the only consideration. If you're looking for a safe and secure apartment that feels modern and thoughtful with excellent service then this is the place you're looking to live.

I really enjoy staying at Studio 3807. The leasing agents are caring, my neighbors are really kind, and the maintenance team keeps the property nice and resolves issues quickly. Recently I had an issue with my heater and they came ASAP to work on it. They communicated with me the entire time and then checked the next day to make sure that it was truly fixed. I really appreciate the work that all staff do to make sure that property is well taken care and residents are happy.

I moved into my apartment yesterday and will say that I’ve been impressed by the team here from my tour to move-in. Johnnie, my leasing agent answered every question I had over the several weeks before move-in. Additionally, during my virtual tour he was very thorough about showing me everything and asking if there were other things I wanted to see since I could not be there myself. Once it came to move-in, the process was very smooth and calm. Steven showed me around the building and my apartment and answered every question I had. The apartment is spacious, clean, and quiet, and the other residents seem nice. I got to check out the food hall downstairs too and can already tell I’ll be here a lot. Looking forward to living here!

J'adore!! why am I now just finding out about this place??!! Savor is a nicely chic and modern food hall that is styled with a white industrial design, and speckled with a variety of colorful art and mural paintings. In classic food hall fashion, Savor harbors local artisan restaurants such as Uncaged chefs, LuvPlates Soul & Grill, Voss food (plant based food), Little Miner Taco, and of course, DC Sweet potato cake. There's also Community Cocktails, which is basically a spacious, open area bar. If you explore Savor, you'll also find Relish Market (farmers market) and Curated DMV (boutique), who both sell a variety products that include locally grown or made items such as body creams, oils, spices, crafted bags and t-shirts, art, jewelry, and cold pressed juices. I love the concept of Savor..and it seems to be the place to hang out without the confinements of a traditional restaurant or the impersonal atmosphere of a food court. However, Parking is umm...interesting. I happened to luck out as two very nice ladies offered me their parking space, while I was asking about Uncaged chefs location. So basically, only street parking available..so yelp peeps, unless you're extremely patient that day, just uber, lyft, etc. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely addition to the Hyattsville/Brentwood area! I LOVE everything about this place. The foodie in me was delighted. Ok so let's talk about the venue, it's like your regular cafeteria with different stations and there is ample seating (there's even an upstairs that has a few couches and bar stools). Parking is a little tricky though. I lucked out and saw someone leaving the garage and got a spot, but there's only a handful of parking spaces in that garage. Now on to the food. De-friggin-licous! I've had the chicken and henny waffles and the shrimp and salmon and grits, both were delicious but my favorite was the chicken and waffles (it's hard to find a place that can make a decent fried chicken without it being dry). Both were from Uncaged. The bar is also nice and the drinks aren't bad. On Sundays they have a henny punch special which surprisingly is pretty decent (I'm not a fan of Hennessy like that). I recommend trying this place at least twice. Wish they had more food vendors (right now there's 3 and a dessert place, which by the way DC Cakes is amazing), but I'm hoping they'll do so in the future.

I love that the inside is bright and clean and the walls are covered with a variety of art. The bathrooms are clean and fit the vibe of the food hall. The bar is busy but eveyone seemed comfortable and had the space to have their conversations and cocktails. It's nice to have a variety of businesses to support and the opportunity to shop for unique items. Parking was a little difficult but it's more of a waiting game if anything. I ended up parking in the designated area but that was after waiting for a few minutes for someone to leave, with no avail, and then heading to what I thought was an extended parking lot but ended up being resident parking (and I don't have time to be towed). You will see people leaving with their takeout bags and you just wait and see (or ask) if they're leaving. Parking designation could be expanded and made more clear. Good vibes and hip-hop and R&B set the atmosphere but the music isn't overwhelmingly loud. Tank...Ari Lennox...Solange...etc. You have the option to sit at four seater tables with low contemporary chairs (if you have issues with your knees or back, be careful) or pull over more sturdy seating. The space upstairs has some comfortable couches and this is where I found people using their laptops or just using their phone. There is railing that overlooks the main floor, I'm glad there's ample seating there as well. It may be a good idea to check ahead of time to see which businesses are open on the day you visit. This is a review for a Sunday afternoon and LuvPlates was not open. I ended up trying the crabcake and fries from The Urban Chef - it was good. I'm not sure what the difference is between what I ordered and what my friend ordered but be careful because one comes with the sauce and pico and the other does not. This can be a spot to get some work done, meet up with friends, and/or just grab some food/drink and chill.

I love the energy at this new food hall in Brentwood! I went a few days ago during their opening weekend and wasn't disappointed. They had live music, which was really nice and the place was filled with lots of smiling and hungry customers. We decided to try food from two of the eateries. We had a "cheat meal" and decided on Henny Mumbo Chicken from The Uncaged Chef and lasagna from LuvPlates. Both were really good and filling. If you're looking for healthier/lighter options, they also have taco and vegan eateries. We shared a glass of wine from the Community Cocktail bar, which was really good. They didn't have liquor just yet, but I look forward to trying a cocktail next time. I will say that it took us a minute to find seats, but I'm sure that will calm down over time. They also don't have a parking lot, but we didn't have any trouble finding street parking pretty close. Excited to have this addition to the area!

Food: 4.5 Aesthetics: 5 Value: 3.5 I had the pleasure of trying Savor food hall for the first time. The Uncaged Chefs brought the flavor with their no rules aspect of cooking. Crab fried deviled eggs punched me in the face. Egg nog chicken & waffles was addicting with every bite. They are well worth the hype! I also got to try Little Miner Taco who have officially brought Birria style tacos to the DMV. Although I feel Teddy's Red Tacos in Cali is much better, I still prefer Little Miner Taco over the other taco joints around here so they deserve my respect. Aesthetics of the place was off the charts. Minimalist style with natural sunlight peering through. Charming murals and decorations placed all throughout the establishment. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the pricing of both places. While I won't question the skill because everything was good... I can't find myself eating here too often as it will get pricy. Besides that, everything was amazing! Definitely worth trying Savor food hall as they have some heavy hitters.

Came here for brunch with my homegirl. We originally planned to go to the Uncaged Chef but the line was down and around the corner. We instead went to Little Minor Taco. They have an extensive menus with great taco options. They did not disappoint. The fried fish and purple cabbage slaw with a aioli sauce was a treat. We asked the bartender Joseph for a sweet drink recommendation and he gave us a Henny Punch that was so good.

Lack luster. Best options left the hall. Haven't seemed to bounce back like other restaurants after initial COVID wave. I lived in building and still didn't eat there. Even if I were hungry.

You've got to go here! I went to LuvPlates Grill. Good lord, that salmon and barbecued chicken - scrumptious! I also went to D.C. Sweets, tried the sweet potato cake and bought a sweet potato pie. The sweet potato cake was my kind of cake, I'll be going back! Savor is the place to go to satisfy any hunger and it's rather pricey, but my stomach is worth it! I usually have pictures, however I thought about it after eating, oh well!

Great food and atmosphere. Went there today for the first time and will be back to try more of there vast menu options under one roof. The every so friendly owner and concept visionary, April Richardson greeted us and explained the food hall concept vs. mall food concept while giving a quick tour. We chose 2 items from 2 different food stalls and stay at the bar to enjoy the music and atmosphere. The $20 Crabcake over Crab fries and Pico de gallo from the uncage chefs was on point and enough for 2 to enjoy. Where as the $20 Lobster Quesdilla from the Mexican inspired food stall attached to the bar are was not worth the price point and more like an appetizer for one. All in all, I would highly recommend everyone to experience this new place at least once, but like me you wont want to wait to come back to experience over and over. NOTE: The Operation Time on this sight is incorrect and they are open 7 days a week and late on weekends!!

I love the atmosphere at Savor! It's a food hall but the ambience is upscale and laid-back. They have a good variety of restaurants and shops. We came here to try The Uncaged Chefs but we sampled some lasagna from LuvPlates. The bar is great too. They have a Sunday special on Mimosas and Hennessy Punch during brunch hours. I enjoy sitting in the area near The Uncaged Chefs because they have different games to play. It's a nice hangout spot. I just wish the parking situation was better.

What an AMAZING concept?!!! This was created w the idea of people coming together to meet, it supports local farmers, it supports local vendors/ artists and local chefs!! Spectacular food and service at "the uncaged chefs", I had the pleasure of trying the glazed salmon and collared green and I want to eat until I vomit they are so good!

I love markets! And I love that this market is black owned so I was happy to support. All of the vendors had a variety of nice things and I liked the large bar in the center. The location is fairly new but once they get more vendors it'll be a great place to hang out. I'll definitely be back.

This place is awesome, the decor is amazing and the food is even better. I had shrimp and grits with a slice of sweet potato cake... I am hooked lol

To be fair, it is a little too early for the Savor food hall to have worked out all the kinks. The Uncaged Chef was due to open at the stated time of 11 am, but announced that there would be a 15-minute delay in opening... extra aggravating because we were already 15 minutes early. And, at the time of this writing (November 10, 2019), Redemption Coffee Roasters was not yet open, making us face the unspeakable... Sunday Brunch WITHOUT COFFEE... so we settled for Sunday Brunch with Cocktails instead. So, leaving one of us to hold our place in line at Uncaged Chef (and the later it got, the longer the lines) the other went off to get cocktails to mellow our irritation at waiting the extra 15 minutes in line. I admit to being surprised at how basic the cocktail menu was.. only 5 cocktails on offer for $12 each... and all of them were the most basic 3-ingredient cocktails we already make for ourselves regularly at home: a Moscow Mule, an Aviator, a Rum Punch, a Paloma, and a Boulevardier. When I asked if they could make additional cocktails, Jasmine very kindly offered to make a Mimosa, Bloody Mary, and a couple of other ones, but they, too, were all run of the mill... so in the end I settled for a French 47 and vowed not to drink there again until they have had the time to develop some original craft cocktails that offer more variety and complexity. Cocktails with egg white foam (Pisco Sours and Clover Clubs, etc.) would also be a welcome addition. On the plus side, they did decorate the Aviator with an edible flower... and they do allow customers to bring food from other vendors to eat on their bar top. Uncaged Chef turns out some very good brunch dishes. My Shrimp and Grits was a hearty portion (which it had damned well better be for $20) with a spicy cream sauce and nuggets of turkey sausage. If I had it to do over, I would probably have chosen the Fried Chicken on a Sweet Potato Waffle for the deeply crunchy chicken coating and the tender crumb of the waffle (that sweet/salty combination is hard to resist). It's a shame that such lovely food has to be served in a plastic clam shell... but I suppose that's a necessary evil in a food hall. All things considered, Savor is a great addition to the Brentwood/Mt. Ranier area, and we'll return when they've had time to work out the kinks.

Very cool concept, my husband an I ordered items at all food stations. Our favorite was little miner taco. We got a variety of tacos they were all fresco and delish. The community bar was nice. The bartender jasmine was so professional and her drinks were very well made. The food at luv plates and Uncaged chefs were ok. I will review them separately.

Wow this place is great, so many excellent food options in an open, light-filled vibrant community setting. I visited for a late inch and after checking out all the options I settled on the 3 taco special at Little Miner Taco and a kids size guacamole and chips. They were honestly the best tacos I've ever had. I chose the fish, carne assada, and chicken tinga. I sat at the expansive bar and had the opportunity to meet the owner of the taco stall and the event planner for the hall. They were both super nice and told me more about the inception of the food hall concept and plans for the future (including a coffee vendor!) It would be a great place to take kids, as well as meet friends for happy hour. Just a fantastic concept extremely well executed. I can't wait to return with friends and family in tow!

Stopped in on one pop up! Young lady didn't care less about my $$! Not a smile not a thank you not welcoming! My cake was dry:( not happy! 5.00 cake! Dry un eatable in morning how? So one star with regrets!

The best crabcake I've ever had. Went two days in a row. Everyone needs to try Chefs Uncaged (you really get your money's worth) and the Sweet Potato shop has amazing cakes.

HORRIBLE!!! This place is a real disappointment. The best and only thriving business is the Minor Taco spot!! The bakery is a huge failure, there is NO FRESHLY BAKED GOODS at all. Period. The other vendors are non-existent to say the least. Place looks horrible inside, trash overflows outside. This place should have a thriving bakery, coffee and sandwich shop and a poke spot!!! The Minor Taco spot is fantastic, they need to take over the place.

ok, this is the deal, the food, the various restaurants, the staff, the bar, the food, let me say it again, the food... luvplates soul and grill as well as the and the uncaged chefs ...there is nothing that beats this place in terms of food and variety. and overall vibe! the bar is wonderful and the drinks are equally wonderful. try the numerous varieties of hot sauce,spices and other goodies at the relish market. it's just a remarkable place. put it this way, if you don't experience this place you're going to have a hard time explaining yourself to your grandchildren! oh yeah, one down side, the parking options are AWFUL!!!!! so take a ride sharing deal, cab or bus.

Best new spot in the area! Great atmosphere, the people are creative and warm. The food is absolutely delicious!

The food was absolutely delicious and the! We got the Cajun crab cakes and then drinks at the bar. I would recommend this to people who want to meet a friend or two for a meal without the pressure of leaving as soon as you finish eating. Terrific place!
