Studio Frantzén

"A famous chef meets a famous department store, as the world-renowned Björn Frantzén expands his brand to the top floors of Harrods. The restaurant is spread across an elegant dining room and enclosed rooftop terrace, complete with a DJ and a lively atmosphere. The cooking has a mixture of Nordic and Asian influences, typified by ‘Sweden vs Japan’ – a dish which combines Swedish beef brisket and Japanese Wagyu. The turbot with butter sauce, anchovy and caviar is worth looking out for too, and a top-notch wine list makes a welcome addition." - Michelin Inspector

Visited mid afternoon on a Monday. Great view from the balcony, we weren't in a rush, so we spent a good couple of hours enjoying our food. The scallops with hot sauce starter was amazing. Everything was just superb. The sauce the baby chicken came with was delicious. I didn't get the names of my waiter and waitress, but they were brilliant! I'll definitely be back, I loved it ☺️

We had lobster and scallop and milk bread. All of them were delicious. For main we had baby chicken Japanese versus Sweden which was wagyu and oxtail, broccoli and hasselback potatoes and a salad. All of it was beautiful. Love it. For dessert we had a waffle and sticky toffee pudding. They were average at best so come here for the starters and mains don't have dessert.

I had a lovely start of the year in Studio Frantzén. The food was delicious, my favourite dish was the Veal tartar , and the expresso martini was simply great. The staff was friendly and professional. Mathias explained the menu with a lot of detail, and help us pick the best options. Jonas gave us an amazing service making sure we had everything we needed at all times, such a lovely gentleman. I really recommend this restaurant to everyone

My boyfriend took me to Studio Frantzen for dinner last weekend and the food was phenomenal. We were welcomed to the bar with stunning views of the city including the London Eye and Big Ben and started with cocktails and oysters; the Rockefeller oysters were particularly good. We were then taken downstairs to the main restaurant and even the bread and butter was rich and delicious. We tried various dishes, the scallops were HEAVENLY, the Sweden vs Japan steaks complimented each other perfectly and the deep-fried potato was hard to share. I recommend getting the roasted cauliflower side as it comes as a generous portion and great to share. I'd also recommend the After Eight tart. The wine selection was huge and we felt very well taken care of. The restaurant was dimly lit and atmospheric, perfect for a date night.

Went twice - once for lunch and another for dinner. Both were with 50% off. There was so much food for the Sunday brunch. Was definitely worth the money (after discount). Dinner was great too, recommend the roast chicken

Absolutely lovely dining experience! I loved every dish we had; the oysters were out of this world delicious, the cocktails were perfectly executed, the milk bread - couldn’t stop myself from eating it, the chicken and steak - superbly cooked! Finished lightly with the madeleines, literally melting in my mouth! Instantly became one of my favorite restaurants in London and can’t wait to return for more as I would’ve wanted to try their entire menu! Love, love, love! Well done to all their team!

Great surprise on the rooftop of Harrods. Did not expect the food to be as elegant and beautifully prepared. We had the caesar salad and salmon tataki. Beth were full of complex flavors and beautifully served. I will say they were both very very large portions. The guinea fowl was tender and juicy. The salmon was seared on the outside but cold on the inside which was perfect. We finished with a lime tart which had a beautiful crust and was tart and creamy. The outdoor space was lovely and relaxing.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Margareta who was very friendly and polite, she led us to the table where we were served by Stella who was also professional and friendly. The food was just perfect. Any the assistant manager also came to the table and checked if everything was in OK. We had an unforgettable experience. Thank you for everything Margareta & Any
