"Studio One is a brunch mainstay near campus with an unmatched eggs Benedict game. A wait is sometimes to be expected at the door but it’s worth it for plates like the Zorro’s Pride, a Benedict served over polenta cakes with ranchero sauce. This spot also offers plenty of mimosas to fuel the meal." - Brenna Houck

Lovely little brunch stop downtown with a good variety of menu items. Service was excellent and they have outdoor (but closed/covered) seating options which was nice. Parking seems like it can be a bit tricky. Overall a nice experience.

The food is so good! And the service is pretty good as well! I got some kind of croissant breakfast sandwich and it was amazing! I like to try different things but it will be hard not to get this one again! Also, the pancakes are pretty good too! I recommend!

Wow, delicious and hearty food. I ate Rooster Cogburn, half. Thank to the waitress who was kind. My friends all four satisfied with the foods, coffee and services.

Unfortunately our experience at Studio was not a great one. I called in ahead of time to place our name on a table for a group of four. When we showed up we had to wait (which is fine). Once we sat down the waitress got our order for drink then later got our food order. We saw groups of people walking in and out. My husband never got his drink until we reminded the waitress. Then we followed up on our food, come to find out , our order was never placed. They assured us that they would be starting our order asap. At that point we saw a group of 5 guys get set up and within 10 min they received their food. We felt completely forgotten. I told my husband that was not okay and it was time for us to leave. After waiting an hour to get food. I did not seem fair this group got their food within 10 min. My husband was still expected to lay for our drinks. We did not create a scene but felt like this was not fair. The food otherwise looks like it would have been a great treat.

I ordered the French toast with berry compote, I did not like it and couldn't eat it past 2 bites. The flavor of the berries mixed with whatever the other 2 sauces were didn't go well together, and the French toast was swimming in the compote mixture. Way too much compote, wasn't even palatable. I actually gagged after the second bite. And this place is pretty pricey. $48 for 2 coffees and 2 French toast plates plus an average tip seems steep to me. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because our waitress was great and my husband likes the food for some reason. I won't be coming back unfortunately.

A few friends and I went for Easter weekend brunch and it was very pleasant. Cozy patio and interior, the menu is humongous and there’s so many options to choose from. I got the Chocolate pancake meal with sausage, eggs and sweet potato fries. If you’re thinking about ordering the pancakes, they are GIANT so 2 is definitely plenty. My friend got the French toast sandwiches and it looked phenomenal, definitely want to try that next. Overall great service, the only thing was we had to wait a little long to pay. Recommend!

Quaint atmosphere with nice servers and excellent breakfast. $15-$20 each.

We wanted to try another Eugene internet brunch recommendation. This joint kept popping up so we thought we would give it a go. Our server was super friendly and attentive. He was the shining part of our brunch. He even juggled for my kid, which was just another fun part of the service. My dish was really good and filling. I don't remember the whole name of it, but it was a brunch menu item. My wife's burrito was kind of plain and we both agreed it could've used some of the salsa from my dish. Overall we had a good experience and would return.

Yelp
Came for brunch after hiking Spencer Butte. Don't let the exterior of this diner from deterring you from eating amazing food. Portion sizes were generous with my breakfast burrito. For desert, we had their famous French toast with three different sauces. Just wow! A meal here can last you the entire day!

Yelp
It has been almost a decade since my last Studio One brunch (Class of 2016, anyone), and if I ever revisit my alma mater, this place will be a MUST! It was my favorite brunch spot all four years. If you are a pancake fan, THIS is the best spot in town and worth the wait time. It's the perfect, uniquely local brunch spot. The food, service, and overall vibe make it nearly impossible to feel anything but happy, grateful, and full.

Yelp
A roll of the dice. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes it feels like no one is in charge and you've been forgotten. And sometimes it's just weird. They used to have a host we referred to as the drill sergeant. He barked at customers about the availability of tables. When we went last weekend we were seated by a guy who clearly prefers to be on stage. He was trying to make jokes and couldn't stop humming and whistling and singing. We just were not up for that while trying to have a quiet breakfast on a Saturday morning. Then we waited. And waited. My wife talked me into staying after they had passed the limit of my patience. Finally the water and cutlery arrived. The food is fine, better than crappy chain diner food, for sure. The home fries are deliciously unhealthy. Then we waited. And waited. We got to the point where even my wife agreed I should go to the counter and pay, as our young waiter was nowhere to be seen. Meanwhile, the host continued his musical pursuits. Given its proximity to UO and the relative scarcity of decent breakfast places in Eugene this place will always have customers. But there's no guarantee for customers what their experience will be like. I just wonder who ever runs this place and if the owners have any idea of what it is like to experience a meal here.

Yelp
Studio One Cafe is perfect when visiting the university of Oregon. The dining area was crowded but we were able to be seated immediately which was nice. So many menu options sounded delicious but I had to try the French toast sandwich. Get this if you love sweet and savory. The eggs and cheese mixed with the sweetness of the French toast and maple syrup were to die for. Also they have a number of loose leaf teas which were delicious! It's so uncommon to find a loose leaf tea, let alone one that is delicious and unique! I look forward to coming back here!

Yelp
My wife wanted to take our son and daughter-in-law to breakfast while we were visiting. She found Studio One which was very close and convenient to the Airbnb we were staying at and found they serve breakfast all day. Since it was a Saturday morning she called to inquire about the wait time and was told they had a couple of large tables open. We arrived shortly before 10:30am and found street parking just down the block. The cafe is located in the heart of Eugene near the University of Oregon. We walked up and could see immediately they have covered patio seating. We walked to the counter inside and were directed to a larger table on the covered patio. They also have indoor seating as well. We were given menus and our drink orders were taken. As we perused the menu, our drinks arrived and we made our selections. Two of us chose the breakfast burrito. I have been craving a breakfast burrito since I seldom find them on the menu in North Carolina. My wife decided on the People's Choice Omelet and our daughter-in-law ordered the Field of Dreams benedict. She had never tried a benedict before and was anxious to experience it. Our meals arrived very quickly and looked amazing. We each really enjoyed our meals and everything was really tasty! We enjoyed our experience and recommend Studio One to others. As many small businesses in the University area the seating is limited and the wait times may be dramatically different when the University is in session.

Yelp
I try to hit this place every time I'm in Eugene. They seat you immediately, even if they seem to be too busy, and the food comes out quickly. I love that they have many mimosas to choose from. Another thing I really like about this place is the à la cart menu has quite a few choices for smaller appetites.

Greg C.

Yelp
All three in my party said it was a good restaurant and meal. Despite being crazy busy after thanksgiving they dealt with us politely and quickly. Benedict's were excellent btw.

Jason C.

Yelp
Small, tight spot that provides a bit of indoor and outdoor dining. The service was prompt and courteous, the host was loud and gregarious. We had a few different plates at the table and all were just kinda so-so. I thought an outside the box take on biscuits and gravy was a good call. The Chile verde option on biscuits & gravy fell short on appearance and lack of pork and now I know why the server had never had it before. (Lesson learned, lol). It's wasn't bad, but it's not something I would ever order again. The other typical breakfast plates at our table looked standard and our group agreed everything was just kinda meh-good... and that's ok!

Tonya B.

Yelp
Service, Food & Ambiance were all SPECTACULAR We stopped in before heading home to The Coast & truly had a pretty amazing breakfast! The Staff was SUPER friendly & exceeded all of our needs & wants. Hubby had Biscuits & Gravy & I had The Mckenzie Vegi Eggs Benedict

Jason M.

Yelp
Loved STUDIO ONE!! Cant wait to return with my son for an off-campus breakfast treat. And awesome that you can get 1/2 orders to try multiple items

Abby F.

Yelp
Good place. Kenzie was a great server. The vibe on the outdoor patio is great. The French toast is pretty wet. Love that they give you a full pitcher of water. Will be back

Yelp
Things to love about Studio One Cafe: - best d*mn service; our server (Jared?) was positively delightful, attentive and fun. considering it was 8am on a Friday that's worth 2 stars alone - Fast! I mean hella fast. Our orders came out right away. They have 'breakfast' dialed. - Those potatoes. purely addictive. creamy on the inside, crispy as hell on the outside. - Options, options, options. Vegan? no problem. Gluten free? yep. Double down on meat? Go right ahead. Sweet tooth? Sweet! - being open for breakfast when Agate Alley was not. Not worth a star: it was pretty cold in there. Granted it was early and we were the first table seated. but it never warmed up. Of special consideration: - also serves lunch. bonus! - Not a lot of low fat, low carb, low cholesterol options. And that's ok. It just isn't that place.

Yelp
Fabulous breakfast place!!! On a road trip, we were passing through for breakfast, and trusty Yelp steered us to Studio One Cafe. I had an omelet, and it was a true omelet (lately, I've been served scrambles though it stated omelet on menu). Plus I was allowed to sub the toast out with a pancake - $2 extra was not bad price for a fluffy buttermilk pancake. I asked for salsa and was offered my choice of pico de gallo or ranchero sauce. Both were fabulous. I dipped my home fries in the ranchero and enjoyed it so much that my husband started to eat his fries with that sauce, too. Service was great. Quick and pleasant. I enjoy when servers don't hover but keep an eye on coffee and water levels. Our waitress just showed up before we needed her with what we needed - with coffee refill and for the check. We arrived pretty early, before 9 am on a Thursday, and there were a few tables with customers. By the time we left about 45 minutes later, most of the inside tables were filled. The customer base was a mix of ages and a mix of students, families, and couples. I really enjoyed the stop!

Yelp
My husband and I enjoyed our meal at Studio One cafe. We We're looking for something local while we were in Eugene. In this definitely is a beautiful, delicious local spot. It seemed like most of the wait staff for college students and everybody. Was super sweet and helpful. The only downside, Is there is no ample parking during major events, but that's not the restaurant's fault, so I still gave them five stars.

Darilyn M.

Yelp
Amazing customer service!! This quaint eatery is tucked away. You will not leave hungery!

Ailene J.

Yelp
Man, this was the spot 20 years ago... Nothing in town beat it in terms of delicious french toast, a perfect Benedict and superb coffee. There was always a wait for a table, the plates were generous sizes so we could share and everyone got a bite of the French toast. Returning all these years later, the food was delicious, but the vibe is not there. It's a different vibe. But necessarily bad, though I think the last time I was there I didn't enjoy it as much as I did this week. I took my bf for his first time, it was 8 am mid week and we were the only people seated for breakfast. The prices have surely kept up with the average increases. Coffee was excellent and overall, a good experience. I think the best time to go is when it isn't crowded, like not on the weekends and early mornings. Something about it makes it more enjoyable for me.

Yelp
Studio One is a quaint, local, and movie themed breakfast and lunch spot located south of campus. The interior is decorated with iconic movie posters and the dishes on the menu include names you may recognize. We got the French Toast Sandwich and the Rooster Cogburn Chipotle Chicken Benedict. The portions were huge and the prices were very reasonable. My French Toast Sandwich (with your choice of meat - I chose ham) reminded me of a spin off Monte Cristo, and was the perfect balance between sweet and savory. The benedict is a great option if you want savory breakfast. The perfectly poached eggs, chipotle chicken, and those potatoes?! Phenomenal. Keep in mind they have a TINY (2-3 car max) parking lot, otherwise it's street parking. I recommend walking or carpooling if you can! Since then I've also tried the field of dreams which is a biscuits and gravy benedict -- I highly recommend!

S.D. K.

Yelp
Great service with a fun atmosphere. Easy walk from University of Oregon campus, because parking can be scarce.

Sonam K.

Yelp
Food was great! So many breakfast options. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. It's quaint and cozy. The staff is young but gives their best.

Winter B.

Yelp
Studio One is a solid brunch spot. If you want a satisfying, filling breakfast or lunch, definitely come here. It gets busy on the weekends but the wait is usually only around 10-15 minutes. Servers are really friendly and food comes out fast. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I love the menu items, they have a great selection of sweet and savory options. The sweet potato fries and the French toast I saw people getting looked super good! You get a hefty portion for your moneys worth as well. I definitely want to come back here and try more menu items!

Natalie P.

Yelp
Cute place, delicious breakfast! Fast, friendly service. Great location right by U of O.

Mike H.

Yelp
Excellent service and great food. We came early on a Saturday during the summer. The vibe was relaxed and friendly. I had an omelette, which was large and very good. The sweet potatoes were crisp and tasty. The pitcher of water on our table was very helpful and efficient. Highly recommend.

Sonia N.

Yelp
I had the huevos rancheros. My niece had the Chilaquiles. It essentially seemed like the same plate. The sauce was similar to pace picante sauce

Taylor B.

Yelp
Tried out Studio One Cafe today after it had been recommended to me several times, and I'm happy to say it lived up to the hype! All of the waitstaff and servers were so happy and engaged in great conversation. I wish I had grabbed or servers name, but he was really great. The food was also fantastic. Came out really fast and was delicious. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy. I'd say that out of all the biscuits and gravy I have tried here in Eugene, these were the best! Go check them out if you haven't already!

Paisley T.

Yelp
I am so glad my husband and I happened to stop by for a wonderful breakfast experience! Highly, HIGHLY recommend for anyone and everyone. Food was exception and so was the service. Jacquelin (sorry if misspelled) was so wonderful! We are definitely going to be returning and telling others!

Sarah C.

Yelp
Consistently tasty and frequently recommended to my friends! Studio one cafe is a consistently tasty breakfast spot. Whenever we have friends or family visiting from out of town, this is a great option. They have a variety of vegetarian and meat breakfast items and all are done consistently well. The interior is cozy and comfortable with covered outdoor seating available. Their eggs Benedict are always SO good! Zorro's pride is tasty and filling. I most recently purchased the french toast sandwich--reminded me of a Monte Cristo (my favorite breakfast items) and I loved it! Their breakfast burrito was big and tasty (per my family members review). Overall, each time we come here, it hits the spot. No complaints about service, their employees are polite and prompt.

Tony S.

Yelp
Food was well below average. Food came out cold. Omelettes was dry and under seasoned. Sweet potato fries was soggy. In terms of service, don't expect any help or friendliness from the staff unless it's the server that's assigned to your table. I highly don't recommend this place

Marco P.

Yelp
Food was very below average Service was great but the food was very expensive for what we got

Joshua B.

Yelp
I was visiting Eugene for a job and stayed near the campus wanted to try something local and Studio one came up with positive reviews. The staff were great like people say. My waitress was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the breakfast burrito. It was just ok. Tasted good but I've made better ones at home. Just wasn't anything to write home about. But it was far from terrible. I could imagine the rest of their menu is good. They have a large variety of breakfast items. My biggest complaint is the cost. I ordered a glass of OJ and coke with my order. I got the tiniest cup of oj. Basically like 2-3 drinks reminded me of the small cups they use in grade schools. And I got a can of Coke. Both were $4! I know I'm gonna pay a premium at a restaurant especially this close to the campus but 4 dollars for a can of Coke? Come on now. Also the burrito was way over priced too for what I got. 16.50 for a decent burrito and home fries. Again it was a decent meal and the staff was great but it's DEFINITELY overpriced for what I got. Before tip it was $24.50. Honestly should have been half that cost. Probably won't come back. I would give studio one a 3.5 if I could. Just wasn't all that oh well.

Alyvia W.

Yelp
Sweet potato fries are INSANE. The eggs Benedict I ordered is so good, I dream about this meal. My friend ordered the vegetarian biscuits and gravy which were also good but my meal was unbelievable

Jon R.

Yelp
Just when we're about to move we find this eclectic breakfast spot with vegan breakfast options! Sandwiched between a McMenamins and another Cafe, this house converted to restaurant has the perfect Eugene vibe. Even super busy the staff was pretty attentive. There were some delays but they hustled as best they could (the did forget about us at one point though). I tried the Morningstar breakfast with tempeh, house fries, vegan sausage, sauted vegetables and a vegan gravy on the side. This was a fantastic dish, except I felt that the veg to potato/tempeh ratio was off and I had WAY too many vegetables left over afterwards. I mean, I had a whole pile left. It felt like a waste but I was full. That being said, the potatoes were cooked and fried perfect, the tempeh was seasoned to perfection, and the gravy was good. I was full and satisfied after I finished. My wife had the French toast with egg and bacon. It was all good and she said the seasoning in the French toast batter was just fantastic. She also loved the fact that she didn't have to order a super large breakfast. Instead she was able to get a half order of French toast and upgrade to a meal with egg and bacon for just $5 more. Anyone looking for a great breakfast spot with a good amount if vegan/vegetarian options should definitely giveFrench Toast Studio One a try. I would have given 5 stars but the wasted vegetables and the fact that staff forgot about us for about 20 minutes at the end of the meal so we could pay bumped my score down a little.

Ashley M.

Yelp
Pretty okay brunch option for Eugene, but it won't blow you away if you come from another city. The French toast is good, but missing spice and cinnamon for my taste. Bacon was cooked well but lacked some flavor.

Kevin K.

Yelp
A total hole in the wall, with unusual visual appeal. Are as a family for our weekend brunch, and we ALL loved everything that we ordered. The eggs Benedict dishes were visually beautiful. Super happy!!

Brooke C.

Yelp
Stopped in during parents weekend with the kid. Cozy little place and really good food. The service was excellent. We will definitely come back

Anthony T.

Yelp
Pancakes are identical to what I was served in military school and the chilaquiles were not it. Don't know why people come here so much

Ryan G.

Yelp
Very good service and exactly they type of food and atmosphere you'd expect from a diner 2 blocks from campus.

Brent B.

Yelp
Very Eugene vibes with the tie dye and decor. Massive portions and a fun menu. Everything was spot on, and the server was friendly and down to earth.

J I.

Yelp
We enjoyed our breakfast. I had traditional pancakes, not sure what the recipe is but they were light and didn't have that heavy feeling after. We were flying back home after so was wondering if I made the wrong choice but they were soooo good. Our waitress was sweetie too. Very kind and cheery!

Jacque G.

Yelp
Always amazing food! This place used to be so crowded it discouraged us from visiting, but in the past year it's been so much easier to get a table. It's our first choice/recommendation for breakfast in Eugene!

Isabella N.

Yelp
Amazing food and service, this is honestly some of the best brunch food I've had here in Eugene! I split the breakfast burrito and pancakes with my sister, and she completely agrees that this food was excellent. On top of that, we were seated immediately, and the food came out within ten minutes of us being there! Such a great experience, and everyone was so friendly :)

Kelsey B.

Yelp
Breakfast was fantastic! A little loud in here if you're trying to have a more quiet conversation, but food was excellent and service was great.

Lorenzo G.

Yelp
Awesome breakfast! Server was awesome! Definitely worth the wait on a busy Sunday. Huevos rancheros were delicious.

Daniel B.

Yelp
Best breakfast spot in Eugene. Food was so good, I love the breakfast burrito there. Awesome spot for students, near campus. Good when you're hungover of course

Kayli G.

Yelp
Great, quick service; friendly atmosphere; good food. Our waitress was nice, we were seated immediately, food came out quick, everything tasted good

Natalie W.

Yelp
Excellent breakfast options, fast and courteous service. Multiple Eggs Benny options to choose from.

Karen F.

Yelp
We loved this place! Cute little place with super nice staff, and the food was amazing! Seriously the best eggs Benedict I have ever had! I opted for the Big Easy Benedict with grilled tomato, fresh spinach and a the cajon hollandaise sauce. So good!

Hannah J.

Yelp
I got a to go order and asked for a side of the ranchero sauce, I'm currently pregnant and could just about drink that sauce it was so good! I smothered my side of potatoes in it. Also very sweet blond girl working and all the staff was very friendly. Would return again. Thank you for the great service and food!

Cyndi K.

Yelp
Stopped in for a late breakfast on Memorial Day weekend. They were really busy with only 3 servers on duty. It took them while to take our order. The food was very good and portions were large. French toast was excellent! Coffee was nice and strong. The negatives were all on the service side. Had to track down someone for silverware, to take our order and to pay. Also, my husband never got the toast he ordered.

Sonia C.

Yelp
Stopped here on a road trip and wasn't expecting too much. The service was fabulous, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect and the prices were fair. If you are in Eugene or driving through Eugene treat yourself and stop here!
