"Yoga, Gyrotonic, spinning, Reformer Pilates, and Xtend Barre all under one roof make Studio Rituel a popular wellness destination. And the location, a stone’s throw from the Luxembourg Gardens, doesn’t hurt. The Gyrotonic classes, which involve fluid movement and targeted stretches utilizing the seven natural elements of spinal movement, are particularly helpful if you plan to do a lot of walking. As the class ramps up, these stretches are more like a dance, and over time they dramatically increase your flexibility. The studio also offers holistic treatments like massage, reflexology, and Qigong. "
Overall quite nice experience, but some of their equipment is very old. They are moving in one month so I would expect the new place to be one to watch. Also, note, it's hard, like with many places, to book a class within less than 24 or 48 hour notice, so plan ahead.

Really a hit or miss depending on which instructor you get. I tried a reformer class with Kirsten and really enjoyed her way of teaching, was so excited to come back and try a new device for me- Whnda Chair. Unfortunately, Aurore is not very professional. I never received so much criticism during 60 minutes as with her. She didn’t give me the chance to practice any of the movements just jumping from one position into the next and non-stop talking. I felt exhausted energetically by her chatter but 0 physical strain. When I voiced my wish to do a few more rounds of ab exercises she told me there is no point for me to do them since I am not well positioned on the chair and my hips are moving too much. She really lack awareness of how the client feels and should be more attentive instead of reading and rushing through her notes without checking in. I finished the class without feeling a single muscle strained just a pain in me shoulder and my wrists + headache from her endless talking.
Avoid her classes if you like pilates to feel like a workout and not a workshop.

Great people who care A LOT about what they are doing. For those visiting from US in Paris (and from anywhere else in the world for that matter) this place is a "must visit" even if you only have time to drop in once. They are very welcoming for those in serious need of a yoga fix!!!

Walk through a charming Parisian courtyard by Montparnasse and you will be welcomed warmly to this bilingual studio. Pristine studio with two class rooms and a peaceful atmosphere. Great classes for Yoga, Pilates and Cardio Barre.
