The shaved ribeye dog was excellent (and huge) and my son loved his (plain with fries). Server/bartender was great. We went on a Sunday and they had multiple games on their TVs; great spot to have a couple of drinks, some food, and chill.

Google
We stopped by for some dogs and stumbled great Ravens game day specials-- $15 dog +fry and drink, also beer specials . Dogs and fries were great! I had the crab Mac n cheese and my wife had the Chi-town--- both great! Will. Definitely stop by this newer location again.

Google
Visiting Baltimore and so glad we stopped in. The hype is well deserved! I got the Crab Mac n Cheese, my friend got the same (but with a veggie dog.) Both were DELICIOUS. Great ambiance and even better service. Matt was personable, anticipated our needs, and made sure we left content. Would definitely recommend!

Honestly, I love everything about this place. I love how chill and funny the workers are (major stoner vibes haha), the flavor bomb food, and just the whole atmosphere. I never knew hot dogs and sandwiches could get mindblowingly delicious until I stumbled across this heaven! I love the funny names for the intricate flavor profiles of the dishes, and the banh mi was very crispy and flavorful. Admire the twist they have on these awesome dishes!

Google
Everything you would expect from a gourmet hot dog spot. Atmosphere was a bit down as we were the only ones there. Tasty dogs, although I wish they would come with some kind of side. I’m not a heavy eater but I can say I was still hungry after my dog. Overall definitely worth a try.

Friday night around 5:00 PM when we arrived the place was empty. However, the weather wasn't ideal (drizzling, misty, rainy; whatever it was wet out). The dining area is clean and spacious. On the menu, there's a dog for everyone. Turkey, veggie and waygu beef are available weiner options. I met Matt, who was at the counter. A very personable, intelligent, and respectful guy. We talked about the weekly specials, and my son told me about all the most popular hot dogs that they serve. If you've frequented Camden yard, Ravens stadium, Capital one arena, or CFG Bank arena you already know. So I ordered the Crab Mac n cheese dog and chicken wings. I was delighted, and I'm hard to impress, but the taste and quality of the food is top notch. However, while waiting for our order, Matt gave us a complimentary serving of a new menu item. Garlic parmesan fries. The garlic fries 🤘🏻 were really good, and between the three of us, we finished them all and wished we had more. There are so many options and choices that all look very appealing... sammies, sides, fries(duck fat fries), burgers, and wings, to name a few. My crab mac was as delicious as the hype about this place for good price. This place rocks! High quality and a large assortment of hotdogs and burgers to keep you entertained. You just can't be health conscious to eat here. Each item probably takes a year off your life. But it's sooo worth it. For me, the big wow is how darn good the atmosphere is here. I had a nice experience at Stuggys gourmet dogs! This is a great place for hot dogs or Saturday night trivia from 7-9 PM. Stuggys a bare-bones fast-food spot serving franks & sausages with diverse toppings, plus burgers & fries. Easily deserves a 5 stars. OhMyGosh ‼️ Matt makes a mean Margarita

Google
Hot dog was just OK but they overcharged and said I was wrong. Waiter had no idea how to read the menu and was aloof to the whole situation. If you like overpriced hot dogs and scams, this is the place for you

Google
My girlfriend and I were craving hotdogs. We googled hotdogs and came across Stuggys. We went for lunch around 3pm. Matt was friendly and greeted us immediately. The music added to the atmosphere. He recommended the frank zappa dog and my girlfriend loved it. I got the buffalo dog and I can’t stop thinking about it. I think I had wet dreams over that dog. The chef, Andre really knows what he’s doing. 10/10 to him. This place is now my favorite spot in Baltimore.

Yelp
Fun trivia on Saturdays at 7 pm and delicious fries!! Came to Stuggy's for trivia and it was a blast! It's not a super big space so come early to snag a seat to play trivia. Wasn't feeling too hungry so got an order of the garlic parm fries. They were delicious! Fries perfectly crispy and the garlic sauce on the side was so good. If you're looking for a good time, check out Stuggy's.

Yelp
So bad, and Oh So Good! lol Great customer service, the host was super friendly and cool. Loved the decor inside, very clean, and it felt like they are always ready for a good game day. So happy for them getting a spot at the Orioles Park Camden Yards concession. Definitely well deserved. This was the tastiest and most fancy hot dog that I've ever had in my life. Can't wait to bring my husband here, he is going to lose his mind lol Such unique toppings for a hot dog, you want to try them all. And this hot dog is no weiner lol, it's massive and it's all beef. They even have a wagyu option, how amazing is that? I got my hot dog topped with premium ribeye, with added jalapeno. Crazy Delicious. It was a little pricey at $17, thats the most I've ever paid for a hot dog in my life lol but it was definitely worth it. It was also worth the wait. This spot is great for an after work bite, outing with friends, of course game day, even business meetings if you want to impress an out of towner. I would for sure come back.

Yelp
This is an excellent spot for regular hotdogs AND vegan hotdogs! I love the level of detail put into the hotdogs. They have trivia weekly, so it is a great spot to get together with friends or make friends through trivia. The staff are kind, welcoming, and funny! Being a regular here has its Bmore Chatm :) There are two restrooms inside the eatery and there is a good amount of seating inside.

Yelp
Wednesdays and Thrusdays have two for one deals on specialty dogs, and man, certainly worth it. We got the Crab Mac and Cheese dog, and it was piled high with delicious crab chunks. Really evenings, not tons of people, but the couple of times we have been there, it starts to fill around seven or eight. Disappointed that they seem to have trouble with cash, and try to push hard towards credit payment only.

Yelp
Service was great, bartender/server was very nice! Food was good, very yummy hotdogs. Place is cute inside. Street parking but on this Saturday afternoon, there were plenty spots. Can't wait to try some stadium hotdogs this summer at an Oreoles game

Yelp
Always fun, great atmosphere, great food and service is top shelf. Local place folks drop by and they always make your feel like you're a regular. Eight different specialty 1/4 lb hotdogs plus burgers fries and sandwiches. If you're in Fells point check them out or catch them at Camden Yards.

Yelp
First time at Stuggy's in a long time (went there when it was at Fells). Really happy to see that there are places to sit and just enjoy the food. I like the Baltimore decor and the chill environment. When entering the shop, we were greeted nicely and allowed to sit anywhere we would like. The host was already ready to give us menus and cups of water as soon as we were seated. The server/bartender/host was super chill and helpful, always checking in on us to make sure we had what we needed. I had to get the crab mac, because it's always been my favorite, not shorting out on the mac crabs either. The flavor was amazing and definitely enjoyed it. Also ordered the duck fat fries (good for sharing) which were very delicious and cooked well. Also, ordered the funnel cake fries which were good. The price seems to have gotten a bit higher than before, but definitely happy that they've included indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Let's start off by saying I am a HUGE fan of hot dogs, like Joey Chestnut levels of passion for consuming franks of all preparations. Stuggy's was on my list as soon as I saw the new spot on Fleet Street. Because I love hot dogs so much, I had no idea they were also in the sandwich business. There's plenty to eat for any palate. We came for lunch on a weekday and it was empty except us and the staff, and by the end, we felt like we were friends. The staff was sooo incredibly kind, funny, and talkative. We actually helped the team film content for social media and they comped us free food for lending a hand. The staff and service were impeccable and will be one of the main reasons we come back! The inside of the shop is beautiful. It's bright white with cerulean blue chairs and accents, along with with fun art pop pictures and a classic arcade game set up. It really feels like you're sitting in a 50s ice cream shop and the inside of the shop has the perfect fun ambiance to match munching on some gourmet hot dogs and snacks. Here's the rundown on what we ate and loved at Stuggy's: - Kimchi fries : big, messy, and a great plate to share. - Big Papí hot dog : huge, stuffed with ingredients, including bacon, and it was certainly a gourmet hot dog. - Chi-Town hot dog : I originally didn't know Chicago had their own weird little spin on a hot dog, but it's quickly become one of my favorites and the Stuggy's version is on point. It's a classic dog with a fun twist. - Funnel cake fries : want to travel back to your childhood memories of the summer carnival? These are it! Sweet, fried, and covered in a modest amount of powdered sugar.

Yelp
First time at this chill spot (there used to be a longtime smaller place on Broadway near Thames--now defunct :-( ) Across the street from Sacre/Sucre French bakery and other off-the-beaten path shops and Latinx food places, Stuggy's has the best gourmet beef franks in Fells. Tried the Chi-Town hot dog, which had various crunchy-sweet fixings that flavored my mouth! Also had a sugar-free "poor man's Arnold Palmer"--Spindrift sparkling half tea-half lemon beverage. Airy, mod layout. Cool place to hang any time of day for a little bite before dessert at Sacre/Sucre--or before you're on your way for more Fells Point walking adventures!

Yelp
Good location, friendly staff! The service was quick but I did not feel rushed to finish my drink! We had an amazing bartender- Michael. He was so friendly and even suggested items to order off the menu, which was helpful for us first timers!! I Recommend and will go again!

Yelp
I know they are working on opening up the new location and I hope that this new place is going to be the only place because this first location has gone way down hill. Most of the menu is gone and whats left isnt that great at all. Soggy fries, chili was bad, and nothing was like it used to be. No longer telling ppl to make this their last stop of then night

Michael R.

Yelp
A great place to drink and watch sports... but wow, the food needs work. We ordered fries with crab meat and fried Oreos. Fried Oreos were fine but the fries were incredibly salty yet somehow tasted so bland. The fries also tasted like those fries you find in the freezer isle? Unsure but I felt only regret after my visit.

Yelp
Stuggy's is known for their gormet hotdogs but keep in mind they have other sandwiches too, I personally like their Ruben. The cheesesteak is quite good and on a soft bun. The service is quite friendly and professional.

Yelp
My husband and I went there on a Sunday and it was totally empty. The server greeted us immediately and brought us menus. They had the O's game playing, the beer was cold, and the service was good. I got the bulgogi dog and fries. The fries were great, perfect amount of crisp. The hot dog itself was solid, but there was only one slice of bulgogi. I gave my husband a bite and of course he ate the only slice of the bulgogi. So overall the experience was good, but for $13 for a hot dog, I think that there should be more than one slice/bite of bulgogi.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner on a Saturday in mid-December to discover that they were having holiday themed trivia! Our group sampled multiple items on the menu and were happy with all of them -- the chili cheese dog is a simple but delicious option! They have a great cocktail selection as well and the presentation was on par with their holiday vibes. Will definitely keep coming back!

Yelp
My husband wanted to try this place out. So one day we did. Walked in and saw it wasn't very suitable for family dining so we ended up ordering to go. All tables were bar height bistro like tables. At the time we stepped in, it was also very cold inside. We were greeted shortly after stepping in. Server was kinda weird and monotone. Got our order and ended up eating in the car. I got their vegetarian dog and it was missing my toppings so my husband had to go back in to request it. My dog was meh. My husband got the bulgogi dog and we also got duck fat fries. Sadly we weren't impressed. Didn't think there was anything special about the hotdogs.

Hope L.

Yelp
This is an amazing little tourist trap in Baltimore! The hot dog itself was hot and flavorful even if the crab meat was from a can and the Mac and cheese was cool to the touch. Also, the bartender is the server? Not sure but we did end up going to the bar for menus since the only staff there was behind the counter and they wouldn't or couldn't acknowledge us when we walked in. It was a pretty low key environment that evening with only a few people at the bar and they all seemed to be regulars. Another patron who walked in a little after we sat down had received the same cool treatment. He later left after five or so minutes of no acknowledgment from the bartender? Server?

Yelp
This review is for the Camden yards location. Crab Mac and cheese dog was good. Hot dog topped with macaroni, crab meat and dusted with old bay. $15 is a bit expensive but worth it to try at least once.

Yelp
Yeah.. this is a great hot dog joint. They have all kinds of toppings to choose from and there's a wonderful seating area basically benches perfect for people watching in the area out front . Loved it ! Friendly staff. Try the duck fat fries they're really tasty

Yelp
Stuggy's is a lovely spot to have right in the neighborhood. As a non-pork/beef eater, I really really appreciate the alternative options that stuggy's has for hot dogs, including the Turkey hot dog and the vegetarian one!! The buns of the hot dogs are also really fresh and delicious. The crab mac dog is phenomenal and the duck fat fries are some of the best fries I've had in Baltimore. It is on the slightly pricey side for a casual bite but I really do love the food + vibes

james j.

Yelp
Really loved this place over the winter. Great. Always understaffed. Service is undesirable because of the one bartender who is also the table server.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I wandered into Stuggy's after we got a little hangry after having some tall boys elsewhere in Fells. Stuggy's initially struck me as the kind of place that would cater to the Fells weekend late-night crowd. It's all greasy favorites-hot dogs, corn dogs, fries, and fried Oreos. The actual shop space is pretty tiny with no seating, and they have some picnic tables outside. My girlfriend got a beef hotdog and customized her toppings from their extensive list ($6.00 base price). I got the corn dog ($7.50). I consider this a little pricey for a hot dog, but the dogs are actually quite large and really hit the spot. We both enjoyed our food a lot. Service was a bit of a miss. They cook to order which is nice, but we waited around for a bit for our pretty simple food. COVID-19 note: mask wearing among the staff left some to be desired, as the man serving us would sometimes take his mask off to speak to us. Overall, tasty food that does end up being worth the premium. We definitely would come back.

Yelp
First and foremost, the food is bomb. You can tell they took the time to find the right combinations of food to compliment each other. We ordered the Crab Mac Dog, Chili Cheese Dog, Buffalo Double Fried Wings, Sweet Potato Fries, and Crab Dip. Everything was really good. The sweet potatoes fries are definitely sweet, but as I said before, they thought things out, and paired them with a honey mustard that toned that down and makes them soooo good. The service was also amazing. I'm upset I can't remember the young woman's name, but she was very sweet, and checked on us often - even tolerating my husband's lame Dad jokes lol
google avatar

Cee S.

Yelp
I LOVE the dogs here! Also the duck fat fries are the best I've had in a while. They are consistently tasty and innovative. The new space is inviting and fun, and there's booze so that's great. Also, I think they are hiring so hit them up!

Yelp
TALK TO ME NICE!!! My friends took me here while visiting MD and I never let up on this place! That hotdog was insanely good perfect for a drunk night. I talk about thes hot dogs every chance I get and I'm dreaming of the day I get to come back here. Fabulous job guys thank you
google avatar

Yelp
I wasn't overly impressed with my visit. I ordered a hotdog with ketchup, mustard, onions, nacho cheese and chili. They were out of chili at 1pm on a Sunday. He put shredded cheese on my hotdog instead of nacho cheese. He was distracted because he was on the phone calling a uber for an employee while he was cooking my hot dog, which is unsanitary. I would be open to giving this place one more try..
google avatar

Yelp
Got to enjoy to enjoy this spot in the midst of quarantine, so I can't say that I got to enjoy it at is freshest. That said, not too shabby if you're looking for a fancied up hotdog. If I was going to try this place, you know I'm were going to go with their pride and joy- the crab Mac and cheese hotdog. First, I'll say that these bad boys were slammed with goodness. I was hungry so I probably could have taken down two. They were packed with enough food that I need a fork to continue to keep it all together. The bad? Overall the taste was just fine. No extra spice. No special hotdog. No grilled buns. It was a very status quo dog that I probably could have made at home if I was literally going to slam random things on my hotdog. Overall- do you get a fun take on hotdogs? Yes. Is it something special worth $11? Debatable.

Yelp
Came here for the first time on a Tuesday evening. The hours posted on Yelp and Google are incorrect, see picture that i took yesterday. They are currently only closed on Mondays. It was Extremely HOT in there lol. So damn hot. lol. Matt took our order and was the cook as well tonight. He was glistening and had sweat beads on his forehead when we walked in. LOL. He said the A/C was on, but I couldn't feel a damn breeze. I offered to bring him a fan but said he/ or they are not allowed because it kicks up dust. Anyway- Matt was Super friendly, patient and helpful. I had the Bruce Lee dog. It was wrapped in an egg roll. It was actually quite delicious. I didn't even eat all of it. My friend had the Mac n Cheese dog. It was just okay... It was a little dry. [World of Beer downtown baltimore has THE BEST mac n cheese dog (just saying)] We also shared the duck fat fries. They were good and enough for two. GrubHub is also used to deliver from here. $1 for tap water, $2 for bottled water. Small little location. We ate outside and people often stopped by to look at the times after it was closed. Pretty popular on late weekends Matt said.

Yelp
Went to the new location and was excited because I've never been. Arrived at 12:30pm (they opened at 11) and no one else was in there. My partner ordered a burger and the server came back and told him they only had 1 patty thawed (it's supposed to have 2 patties). He picked the chicken sandwich instead only to find out it also "wasn't thawed" and he would have to pick something else. We chose to leave and come back when they seem more ready to serve what's on their menu. There are only about 4 sandwiches and 4 hotdog choices. I hope they get things together because I heard great things about the original location! We will try again another time.
google avatar

Mechell D.

Yelp
The guy LOVES hotdogs. So, date day was about him. The choices were great and there are wagyu, beef, turkey and vegan (or was that veggie) options. It's nice to choose from a specialty dogs or build your own. Albeit a bit pricey for a hotdog not at a stadium, it's a great date experience. We did it for me was the lemonade made to order and sweetened to your liking. The staff was helpful with narrowing things down. The establishment was also cool and laid back. We intend to put this in the restaurant rotation!
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
Took mobile order, collected money when they weren't actually open and took a week to refund. We also wasted a trip across town. Not a way to run a business. The food is good to the best of my memory but we will never patronize this place again.

Betsy S.

Yelp
we love their hot dogs! they are so good & juicy with unique & delicious toppings! the buns are soft & sturdy in holding the sandwich together. highly recommend!

Shay G.

Yelp
This place has great hot dogs and burgers. I love the chili cheese dog. The people working here are also very nice and pleasant. I definitely recommend it!

Yelp
Hit it for dinner recently. Had a hankering for a dog log - it was time for the meatstick! Delicious Chicago style dog. Service was a little off on our night and the place has an identity issue. Is it a bar? A late night drunk food dog stand? Nevertheless, the dogs are awesome.

Yelp
I get that it's just Hot Dogs, but if you're going to charge $10+ on a Hot Dog it's not just any Hot Dog. It will be held to a higher standard. For the most part just from looking at the menu the various combination seemed appealing and creative in a way. I ordered the Crab Mac and it was just okay. The biggest issue was all the components of the Hot Dog was not fresh at all. The Mac and Cheese seemed old and the crab meat tasted like it was from a can. The Hot Dog itself wasn't anything special, but sadly enough the bun made the experience slightly better. The bun and not anything else! It was buttered and toasted, still didn't make overall experience that much better. It just seemed like a lazy attempt in general. I honestly wouldn't recommend this spot to anyone. You could get a bunch of basic hot dogs for the price of one below average Hot Dog at Stuggy's. There's just not much to say about this place. Better off eating at other places in the Fells Point area that's conveniently close by if you ever find yourself at Fells Point or standing in front of Stuggy's contemplating whether or not to try it.

Ciria G.

Yelp
We came today for the first time and We thought it was very good! The girls working there are super sweet and they accommodated my needs for what I ordered (allergies). My husband also got the duck fat fries and I got the caesar salad and they were delicious!!! This is a good place to go and get hot dogs and they have plenty of different drinks! We will definitely come back!

Yelp
Stuggy's is like Taco Bell in the sense that you crave it (and think it's amazing) when you're drunk. The shop is a super small 3 seater that is obviously meant for takeout, especially when they're at their busiest which is closing time for the bars in fells. The hot dogs can be rather expensive at 10-11$ a pop, but once you see the toppings on some of these, and get the novelty experience, you'll understand why. I love Stuggy's crab Mac dog, and pro tip- they can make any hot dog with a turkey or veggie dog. I always order a turkey crab Mac when I'm drinking in fells and it never disappoints. The duck fat fries are also a greasy haven of late night ordering. All in all, Stuggy's is the best place for a drunk hot dog with a ton of toppings, including crab Mac and cheese. Just be careful you don't spill the toppings- they're piled pretty high!
google avatar

Jess L.

Yelp
If you go in with reasonable expectations, you won't be disappointed. It's just hotdogs with unique toppings, they also serve fries with the toppings. Simple concept. It's all good, but it's not fancy, it's exactly as you expect- satisfying and greasy. But if you are compare it to a $2 plain hotdog from a street vendor, then sure it's more expensive. This is meant to be a treat or snack, not a fancy meal. Recommended for a late night or quick bite!
google avatar

Kati S.

Yelp
I'll start by saying I have never eaten here before 1am. My memories of the varied hot dog creations is hazy, but it is a hangover prevention that I partake in on a fairly regular basis. When you stumble into the very small Fells point store front, the menu written in chalk is on the left wall. If there are more than 4 people you'll feel crowded for sure. There is a small bar in front of the window with a few barstools, but this is a to-go place (besides, there is no way to eat Stuggy's in a way that wouldn't be embarrassing if someone you knew walked in the door), save yourself the embarrassment and stuff your face in the back of your Uber on the way home. The hot dog and bun themselves are nothing to write home about, but the combinations that include variations of chili, nacho cheese, frito chips and crab mac and cheese are. I regularly get "the beast" which boasts a heaping helping of chili, fritos, siracha, jalepeños, bacon and onions. I enjoy it every. single. time. My husband swears by the crab mac dog as do most of our friends; you should probably try it. Also, invest in the fries, they're delicious and totally worth the extra spend. Overall, you'll spend more than you would if you were getting a hot dog at Camden Yards, but Stuggy's simply is part of the Fells Point experience.

Yelp
I went at 1 PM on a busy Saturday afternoon and the one worker was very backed up. He was still very polite, made sure each meal was made properly, and was very apologetic to every customer who expected their food ready in 2 minutes. The Bob Marley was delicious and I plan to come back and try something else.
google avatar

Jackie Z.

Yelp
I really don't know how this place can only be a 3.5 stars on Yelp... please understand that this is not a gourmet restaurant. It's a small boutique hot dog/fries/all things delicious and greasy kind of shop with very little seating. So expect to take your food elsewhere. It's also open late on the weekends... So a perfect drunchie option. Highly recommend the Mississippi Queen and Deep Fried Oreos.

Sanaa B.

Yelp
Y'all it's too expensive and the food isn't even that good. The wait is long and I promise u u can make the hot dogs they make at home. All love and everything but don't waste ur money. It's almost a scam. 17 bucks for a hot dog that is regular sized with toppings u can pull out of ur cabinet and fridge at home. The fries are good tho. If u want some fries and u around that area def go in there in get in on it, especially if ur a fan of cheese. Service was cool but they don't got ya back. They aren't gonna fill u in on the reality of the restaurant so I'm letting u know before u waste ur time. Broke people don't go!! Only go if u can afford snobby mediocrity. This is a nepo baby restaurant!

Yelp
This HOT DOG is amazing. Like nothing I've ever tased before. OMGOSH!! It was so good I was speechless. I had the holes pork and coleslaw hot dog BBQ!! Lord Jesus!! The pork was super tender. BBQ sauce was not over powering. Amazing balance. Everything and nothing I expected. Want to get another one to go but just can't do it cause of my waistline. Didn't even get to take a quick snap shot cause I devoured it. Must try.

Yelp
I compare this place to doghaus which is my ultimate fav. I love the maryland flavors of the hot dogs here. I also love the state themed flavors! The staff was excellent and we were patient with them as they were with us! The ingredients didn't seem fresh though. And I wish I ate mine right away because my bread got soggy fast XD

Yelp
All I can say is Stuggys has always been there for me after a long (or short) night out in Fells. I've gotten their crab Mac dog a few times and it is always great. They don't skimp on the toppings. I've also gotten a plain hot dog here (comparatively speaking, I'm talking normal toppings haha) and they have been delicious as well. Prices are a little steep for a hot dog for some of their specialty dogs, but when you have a few drinks in you what's the difference?!? :P I also LOVE that they have birch beer. I am such a birch beer junkie and so little restaurants have it, so when a restaurant has birch beer they're automatically a winner in my book.

Yelp
Good hot dogs, Good people trying their hardest but understaffed and poorly serviced. You'll watch your good sit on the counter for ten minutes before getting it cold. Don't recommend and will not be back.

Yelp
Wowie, so glad I stepped inside this little spot whilst roaming the streets of Balt. I got the crab mac fries, which were straight up delish. I'm so into all the crab around here, and the fact that these fries combine two of my favorite things (crab + mac) is just perfect. Also got the Bruce Lee hot dog, which was soooooo good. Just imagine a hot dog with an egg roll exterior and some other goodness. Will def be back to try the other items ^_^

Yelp
I just went to their new location on the corner of Fleet and Washington in Fells Point this week, during their soft opening. Boy, hope they get it together before they do their Grand Opening! We got there for dinner around 7 pm and there were only two other diners inside, seated at the very far end of the bar. The hostess first offered us a table but we said we'd like to sit at the bar, so she asked us to sit at the short leg of the bar and against the wall. She explained that if a larger party wants to sit at the bar they'll be room. How welcoming... During the evening, a single girl comes in and is seated beside us (she leaves shortly), a couple comes in and is seated next to the other two at the far end. A single guy comes in and is seated next to us again, but leaves almost immediately. This annoyed me to no end and signaled a very inexperienced hostess. No one else came in and there were only six customers max the entire time we were there. Ok, food: we got the Mac and Cheese dog, the falafel, and the crap dip. There were only four dogs on the menu. I was disappointed. I asked the bartender about the Papi Dog and he had trouble describing it. When my dog comes, there are some greens sprinkled on top and I ask him if it's cilantro (which my daughter and I fiercely HATE) and he says, no, it's parsley. No, it was cilantro. My daughter is pescatarian and the falafel was one of the few choices for her. She said it was okay, but it, too, was covered with cilantro. The crab dip came with inedibly salty chips and the dip itself was very oily, with no flavor of crab, and served in a square metal tin reminiscent of those serving up pet food. So, not going great so far. We went ahead and ordered dessert, the soft serve ice cream, and that turned out to be the best dish of the night. I'll try again and so hope things get better... (My favorite dogs: Crif Dogs in NYC and Wienerschnitzel on the West Coast.)
