The Swedish food was not as good as I've had elsewhere in the city of Malmö. The meatballs were tasteless, with too much onion, carrying a condensed texture like a frozen store bought meatball. The sauce for the meatballs was way too sweet. The lingonberries had no sauce, were sweet and dry, but seemed rehydrated. The mashed potatoes were flavorful but tasted like they were premade.
While that dish fell flat, I'd say the veal cutlet (schnitzel) was ok- but the capers, lemon, and anchovy butter carried the dish and without mixing it all together with each bite the schnitzel would have been not that great as well.
I give this food an 'it's okay'. Spent roughly $80. Ending on a positive note, the oysters that we ordered were delicious.
