Was there Saturday night 5/10 at 11:50pm. Security guard and the female bartender there were very kind. My friends & I were enjoying the vibes of karaoke night for her birthday celebration. We signed up twice to go up for karaoke, it wasn’t until over an hour of waiting to be called up that we had realized our names were crossed off the list completely. During the time we thought we had yet to be called, we made our way up to the end of the bar near the stage area awaiting our turn. The older looking white male employee in charge of the karaoke rotation with the curled mustache went up to perform. Mid performance he eyed me down & came off the stage as if trying to serenade/hit on me. I made it CRYSTAL CLEAR just how uncomfortable I was & he would NOT back off. As he would not back off my friend had to physically put her body between us and it wasnt until then that he finally retreated back to the stage. We shrugged his creepy behavior off as we were still trying to enjoy the night for her birthday. After another 20 minutes or so we finally brought it up to their attention that we had been skipped and crossed off multiple times on the list, so they allowed us to go on stage. I kid you not that same employee trying to make his move on me earlier cut our song off after about 20 seconds and immediately put on the next one. We were the only people that had happened to for the entire duration we were there. One couple sexually danced through their whole song, another belted out to Selena Quintanilla rolling her hips on stage, one woman was too drunk to follow along any of the words to bohemian rhapsody with her fly down, yet we were the only girls to be cut off mid song. The three of us there were fully convinced the employee running the show did this out of spite. It’s ridiculous that an employee made me feel so uncomfortable in that setting and further spoiled our night. When we had first arrived we were genuinely enjoying ourselves, however that one employee ensured we will not be back. We closed our tab and left immediately. Go anywhere else on Noda but here, especially if youre a younger female who is not looking to be objectified by an employee. If you do end up here, BEWARE of the caucasian employee with the curled mustache. You’ll recognize if you see him, insanely creepy vibes. As a group of people that also work in the hospitality industry, that was extremely unprofessional… we will be sure to spread the word. Id suggest Noda 101 for karaoke instead. Edit - After looking in to it further, had found out his name is R. P. Allen
