Su Gologone Experience Hotel

This is an amazing hotel with so many difference spaces to explore and enjoy. We stayed three nights and took time to check our all of the collections of art and handicrafts. The restaurant is very good. We participated in one of their specialty outdoor dinners (Blue Zone Dinner) which was a highlight and they have several different specialty dinners during the week to chose from. It is a short walk to the Spring, which was a very nice outdoor experience. There is a nice restaurant at the Spring which made for a nice light outdoor lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a little isolated and other then the Spring there isn't much else to see, but there was so much at the property that we didn't feel bored.

Remotely located, this is an extensive and interesting hotel. So many areas to explore with small outbuildings and unique areas to sit. |Gardens are remarkable for size and variety. |Food in restaurant was very good but 8pm opening for a great meal is too late. |Rooms are interesting and there can be lots of steps. |No shower in room. |Really friendly staff.

I recently led a yoga retreat at this hotel, and it was truly a special experience. The food was delicious and plentiful, though be prepared, the focus is very much on meat, cheese, and bread. If you’re staying for a longer time, it’s helpful to know this in advance so you can balance meals as needed.||The staff were absolutely lovely, and I especially want to thank Christian, who went above and beyond to help me organize and make our retreat feel seamless. His kindness and creativity were a huge part of what made our week so successful.||The nature surrounding the property is breathtaking, and the rooms are each unique and full of character, a highlight in themselves. And the pooI is amazing.||It is a special place with warm people, beautiful surroundings, and an unforgettable spirit. Thank you.

Beautiful location with stylish interior and a fantastic view. 🏞️🌿✨ The food was good with nice vegetarian options, but the portions are small and prices quite high for what you get. Service was slow, and the atmosphere a bit hectic since we were seated between families with loud kids. Overall still a nice spot if you want to enjoy the view and a relaxed setting – and with a bit more attention to service and portions, it could easily be excellent. 🌿

Had the most beautiful 24 hours at Su Gologone. My only regret is not staying longer! This is a truly special place, with service that feels 5 star in an atmosphere that is so relaxed and relaxing, welcoming and incredibly beautiful. From the architecture to the art, the natural landscape to the flowers, plants and trees, the attention to detail is wonderful but never feels controlled or manicured. The staff were all so kind, warm and welcoming, especially Christian, who gave us a tour full of interesting history about the hotel and local area. We had a beautiful vegetarian set menu in the garden, and were encouraged to make use of the facilities even after we had checked out the next morning. Really can't recommend this place any higher. Easily my favourite place I've ever stayed and I hope to visit again for longer next time.

Room 40 is such a beautiful room , charming colour scheme and a comfortable lounging area . A cute small balcony was big enough to enjoy a coffee , an espresso machine in the room is a good touch . Large bright bathroom. The surrounding gardens were colourful and neatly kept . A six course menu at night gave you plenty to choose from , I love the ice cream. All there is to say is that this place certainly is a wonderful experience.

Nicely located in mountains, great staff. Breakfast was excellent. We got a room upgrade, very friendly. Only problem, due to central heating the room was uncomformably warm. For a hotel in the middle of nature it is puzzling why they waste energy like this. Restaurant was not great. Going to this region in October is challenging as everything is already closed for the season

It’s no surprise that Anthony Bourdain once called this his “secret getaway.” Here, farm-to-table isn’t a marketing phrase—it’s a way of life. Every dish bursts with authenticity, rooted in the land and crafted with devotion. The cuisine rivals some of the finest dining we’ve experienced anywhere in the world, yet carries the soulful simplicity of Sardinian tradition. Each meal felt like an invitation to savor not only the flavors, but the story and culture of the island.||Hotel Su Gologone is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you leave. A sanctuary where the outside world fades, and you are reminded of what it means to feel alive, connected, and in love. Part of me hesitates to share, because it feels like a hidden treasure we’d like to keep as our own secret escape.
