SUAHOY

"It quickly becomes clear that this friendly, buzzy venue is not your average Thai eatery. Everything is made fresh, the ingredients are good quality, and the flavours are well rounded and pack a punch – everything you could ask for from this type of cuisine. Cordial staff. In summer, a small terrace is laid out in front of the door. A word to the wise: booking is essential, even at lunchtime!" - Michelin Inspector

Very tastefully decorated restaurant, modern chic with a strong Thai theme. The food was nice but the portions were a bit small compared to the price and location. The service was good, prompt and friendly. The acoustics could be improved because it got noisy in a full house which was hard to hold a conversation.

Very good buzz. Cocktails are excellent. The portion of food in general is a bit small, taste can be less salty. Service was very attentive.

The food here was amazing. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and would like to come back to try out other dishes. However, we did book for a special occasion as it asked on the website when booking. No special attention to us and unfortunately we were left out of the service. We placed second order of main course with a team member, but we waited for over half an hour. No one came to us until we asked how long it still took for the dishes to be prepared. It turned out that our order was not placed. It was already two hours til this moment since we were seated. We had only to ask for dessert menu to end the dinner. It was nice that the restaurant offered dessert to us and we expressed our feelings on the site with the staff. They would try and make it up. But service could be improved for a restaurant recommended by Michelin.

Authentic and delicious Thai food, everything tastes very good! Nice interior with low lights, always very busy so book directly on their website! Recommended as main dishes the entrecôte and the chicken, you cannot miss to try also their sticky rice mango dessert and the coconut ice cream! 🍨 Small note just as it gets very busy, we had to wait a long time for our cocktails that arrived after our starters, nevertheless they were delicious!!

The best Thai place I have ever eaten in my life. Better than any Thai restaurant I had while living in NYC. The staff is very friendly, food is awesome and cocktails are excellent. They have orange wine which goes quite well with the food. The type of place I could go back again and again.

The Pla Kong Oyster was one of the most well balanced and tasty Thai dishes I have ever eaten. It was truly exceptional. The other dishes we ate were all excellent if lacking the real punch that you might expect. The Som Tam for example could have dialed up the spice a bit but we appreciate that we might be expecting too much for a European palate. But overall highly recommended.

I recently visited this restaurant and left feeling underwhelmed. Frankly, it’s overrated and not worth the price. While the food isn’t bad, it certainly doesn’t live up to the premium pricing especially considering the many better options available in Geneva. I ordered the fried chicken, which came with two sauces and a side of plain rice. It was decent, but lacked any real character or soul no creativity, no flair, just basic execution. We also tried the giant shrimp dish (53 CHF), and again, the result was unimpressive. What you get is standard Thai food presented in a slightly upscale setting, but with no “wow” factor to justify the high cost. If you're expecting something memorable or unique, this isn't the place. It might appeal to those unfamiliar with better Thai cuisine, but for anyone seeking value or a culinary standout, this place misses the mark.

I really like the restaurant's decoration with ไซดักเงินดักทองและหัวโขนยักษ์. The staff are super nice and friendly. - Soft-shell crab is just so-so, but the sauce is good. - Crab fried rice is the best. It's like eating at a Chinese table or a Chinese restaurant. - Moo Hong is also delicious (I intended to eat pork belly Hang Lay. I saw it on the website menu. When I got there, this was the menu instead.) - Hat Yai fried chicken is just so-so. - Fried banana with coconut ice cream (pity the banana still wasn't very sweet, but it was delicious. The ice cream was also good.) - Thai tea is very good (not too sweet) I will go back to try other menu.
