As the inscription outside the church says, this church was built to commemorate the more than 4,000 Jews who lost their lives in concentration camps during World War II. These people were part of Subotica, they lived here and participated in the creation of the city of Subotica. This church is their existence. The church is located in the city center, and its appearance is very beautiful and exquisite. Pay 250 dinars and enter the church. You will see bright light, extremely symmetrical structure, beautiful glass decoration, and solemn atmosphere. You will admire the craftsmanship of the craftsmen and perhaps gain inner peace.

Prettiest synegogue ever, almost looks like a frosted cake. This interior straight up looks like it’s made of candy. This building almost makes me hungry how cute it is.

The diamond in the crown of visit to Subotica town. Very butifull restored with the help of Europe community. Functioning today as the museum of Jewish history. Has an explanation in English and Hebrew language. The 200RSD donation is collected at the entrance. Recommend .

This is one of the most spectacular Art Nouveau/Secession buildings in Europe, and the care with which it has been restored is remarkable. The entire town of Subotica is filled with art Nouveau masterpieces, including the city hall and several former private manor houses, as well as the park outside of town. It is well worth the trouble to get here (I had to come in from Romania via private car, arranged through my hotel).

Absolutely stunning architecture. A must-see when in Subotica. Visiting the Subotica Synagogue was a profound experience. The building's history, combined with its architectural splendor, creates a powerful atmosphere. The restoration work is exceptional, and it's clear that great care has been taken to preserve this landmark. I learned so much about the Jewish community in Subotica. I would recommend this to anyone interested in history, architecture, or culture.

I've never been in a synagogue before, so this was an excellent opportunity to see how it looks like from the inside... But not feel like I'm intruding in someones place of worship (The synagogue's not in function. Pretty much only for viewing). You pay 150RSD if you're a student as an entrance fee (I think 200 for non-students), and you get headphones with an audio track explaining everything about the building.

I have visited this place few times already and never get tired of it. Even though it is small, it is a true gem. I definitely recommend visiting.
