On a busy weekend, we had to wait 20 minutes for our food after ordering, and the place was hot despite having 3 indoor AC units running. Subs were a bit pricey at $11 for a 6 inch, but the food was WORTH IT. Such good subs, and the service was very friendly!

Passing thru breezewood saw this place from the McDonald's parking lot. Stopped in got a foot long build-your-own. Delicious and stuffed unlike Shtz. Friendly staff and a fresh made sub. Highly recommend stopping if you're in breezewood.

New owners in 2025 are fantastic. It's the same great place it always was. As of summer 2025 there's no phone number or online ordering, so I showed up to order in-person. Bonus, that there was ZERO long line of online orders ahead of me. 😃 I hope they keep it this way!

Would absolutely go again! Went for the first time today and my experience was great. I was greeted by Darron who provided great service and was very friendly. I got the Philly steak cheese sub, and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was very fresh and the steak and provolone together tasted delicious. The ingredients were very fresh and they were slicing cheese and meat during my arrival. Overall, I would highly recommend if you want a delicious sub!!

On Sunday, July 27 around 11:30 AM, I stopped at Sublicity on my way home from Pittsburgh to the DC area, and I’m so glad I did. There were two gentlemen working behind the counter, and one of them went out of his way to be kind and thoughtful to me. He probably had no idea I was having a rough day, but his kindness truly meant more than he could have known. Thank you for being a bright moment in my day—I won’t forget it. We need more people like you in the world.

Mushroom sandwich I ordered was awesome!! My husband's steak and cheese sub tasted delicious also. The service is aLso friendly and excellent. We stop here before. We will make this a Breeze Wood stop every time we come through.

Heard from a friend that this was the spot for the best sub sandwich in the area and its worth the drive so decided why not and drove to find out. Let me say this, “it is the best sub sandwich I’ve had” and absolutely worth the drive. Add in the super courteous customer service, friendly atmosphere, very very clean and now its a must stop destination all its own. Great job Subplicity. We’ll definitely come back!

Basic spot to stop… with BASICALLY AWESOME subs. It was fast, delicious, easy to order and reasonable in cost. Our order was taken politely and delivered promptly. If you are hungry… stop and enjoy. If you are not hungry… stop now and thank me later ;-)

We love stopping here for lunch on our drive from NoVA to Cleveland. It's right next to a Starbucks and we always find parking. Any sub we have ordered has been made to perfection. Plenty of meat to the bread ratio and Boars Head to say the least. So happy for this delicious sandy spot to get lunch on our drive!

Stopped in here on a 7-8 hour drive with my 4 children (August 2nd). They were less than a half hour out from closing but you'd never know it (very welcoming). Both guys behind the counter were super friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The kind of customer service you rarely encounter these days. Subs were tasty, and prices were quite reasonable. We will be back :-)

Asked chatgpt for a food recommendation on our roadtrip and it gave us this. 10/10 rec it was fantastic and quick service.

We stopped there on 3/23/2025. I had a 12" club sub. The bread was toasted on the flattop. Lots of fresh vegetables. Lots of turkey. Sub was delicious. The staff was amazing. Very friendly. One of the few places I felt like they were truly happy to see us. We would definitely stop there again when in Breezewood.

Foregoing the usual splash-n-dash fast food options in Breezewood over the weekend, we instead opted for a stop at this family-run sub shop. Option were on the limited side, but still plenty of different type of hot and cold sandwiches one could order. My crew opted for a Club Sub (me), portabella mushroom cheesesteak (wife) and a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on sub roll (daughter). Given all the hand-made sammies, it took a little longer than your typical shop, but the results were well worth it! I tasted all three options we ordered and was happy with how each of them turned out. Only issue we had was my sub turned out to be an Italian and not the club I had originally ordered. I'm not one to waste food, so I ate it anyway and the flavor combo was on point! They have an unusual preparation for their lettuce...super-finely shredded which I actually enjoyed a lot as the sandwich bites had less of a lettuce-forward crunch and taste. Will definitely consider this stop again, on our future travels through this rest stop area.

A great spot to stop for a delicious sub! The hot pastrami and chicken cheesesteak were both amazing, and the staff was super friendly. Plus, the bathrooms were clean and well maintained - always a bonus!

What a lovely little restaurant. We stopped on our way to the coast to eat here. The food is delicious. The young men that are running the place are doing a great job and they're very nice. I highly recommend coming and getting a fabulous sandwich.

Perfect road trip stop. Subs were delicious- especially the portabella mushroom one. Our family group of 6 ordered different subs and everyone said their sub was awesome. Restaurant and bathroom is clean. Service super friendly and fast. Oh, and they offer free perks to military folks. What's not to love? We'll plan on stopping here again as we drive through PA on our way to Ohio from Maryland.

Ummm...was this the best sub I have had in quite some time? Yes and yes. I ordered the portobello melt on wheat with pepperoni. I took a first bite with standard expectations and every intention of only eating one half. Within ten minutes, I had consumed the entire sandwich and had drippings on my jeans. I devoured that sub. It was perfectly toasted, immensely flavorful, and quite filling without being overwhelming. This place is right next to a Starbucks and all I can say is stick with local joint. You will not be disappointed. Also, friendly staff and a nice bathroom, which matter to us travelers. :)

A Breezewood stop for gas and a bite and daughter was dead set on Starbucks. But I see this sandwich shop in the same building and insist on trying. That would become a very profound decision. The shop run by a husband- wife team was efficient in taking orders. I had to try the hot pastrami and ordered the 6 inch with a can of Mountain Dew. With 20% tip the total was shockingly under $10.50. The restaurant had seating inside and was clean. The restrooms... meh! No soap and the stool and iron build up that was gross. They ended up taking care of TP in women's and mentioned the soap and it was addressed. The sandwich took about 10 min or more and can tightly wrapped up. They use Boars Head meat. I ate the sandwich with my daughter at Starbucks. I'm still numb over how incredible my sub was. It was perfect in every way. Bread fresh and authentic. The meat hot, plentiful, tender and so juicy tender. The items accompanying brought it home. This hot pastrami was as legit as it gets. Before departing I went back over to thank them and share my enjoyment. 4.5 rounded up. I wish I could get a hot pastrami that good in my hood.

This place keeps getting better! Every time we road trip we always make this our go to stop. Under new ownership it's even better. Owner even made a grill cheese for our littles. Big thanks and good luck. This is a must try.

First things first. The ladies working (Sunday evening) we're not friendly and seemed annoyed that we came in Both of us made our own sub. Hubs got Turkey with his toppings. I got Turkey, ham, salami with my toppings. Normally they toast the bread for you, which hubs had - but I asked them not to toast mine. They told me that the wheat bread is "kinda hard if you don't toast it", but I still went with it not toasted. Both of us enjoyed our subs. This place is connected to a Starbucks in a new building. It's nice to have someplace to stop when you have to come through this place.

Great service. Amazingly fresh bread, and outstanding chicken Philly. Possibly the best chicken Philly I have had, and yes I've been to Philly. Definitely recommend.

Highly recommend! We stopped in on our way back from D.C. and were extremely impressed! All food is fresh and cooked to order!! The bread is delicious and there's lots of options for toppings. Not only were the subs amazing but the homemade soup of the day, "Roasted Pepper Gouda", was super tasty! Did not expect to find this little gem in the busy intersection filled with gas stations & fast food, bjt this spot is 10/10!

Stopped in while on a road trip and tried the Italian and the club, both were incredible! The quality and taster were both 10/10! Great flavor and portion! The customer service was great and food came out quick! I will be stoping by again on my way home!

Fantastic. I love a locally run restaurant and this did not disappoint. At their recommendation we split the Italian served hot. That was the best sandwich I've had in a LONG time It was perfection. Thinly sliced lettuce and onion. Banana peppers. Meats heated on the grill. Can't wait to stop again on the way home.

Turnpike traveler sub lovers delight! We stopped in despite the short staff notice on the door since we weren't in a hurry, and I am glad we did. Delicious!

Who would have thought that one of the best sub sandwiches that I've ever had was in the middle of nowhere in Breezewood, Pennsylvania? They only use fresh Boar's Head meats and cheese, which lead to very delicious, high-quality sandwiches. My wife ordered the roast beef sandwich (very juicy), I ordered the Portobello Melt (good for vegetarians), and my son said it was the best grilled cheese sandwich in his life (his entire 7 years of existence). The next time we drive between Harrisburg and Pittsburgh, we're just going to plug Subplicity into the GPS. Do your tastebuds a favor and stop in for a sandwich!

Def closed. Mixed info on Yelp, Travelocity etc. Hoping for a sub on July 15 2024 but disappointed to see they are closed. Will try again on our future trip to Ohio.

My husband and I each ordered a Philly Cheesesteak. It was delicious. Well-balanced on the seasoning and bread was so soft. They mixed meat, cheese, and onions perfectly. The service was great. The gentleman at the register was friendly and patient. As we ordered, he even gave us suggestions and asked if we wanted any other add ons. We will definitely be coming back.

We got a Philly cheesesteak and a turkey sub and both were really fresh and well made. We went in with a toddler but just know there wasn't a changing table in the women's bathroom. I do wish they carried some fresh fruit like bananas or apples but we'll definitely stop in again, we always drive through breezewood to visit family in Buffalo.

Wow - totally unexpected sub shop right off the PA turnpike! Locally owned and delicious made to order. I'm not kidding when I say it was the best sub I've ever had! We tried both the hot cheesesteak and chicken subs (fully loaded) and the cold clubs. Rave reviews all the way around! PS - Yelp takes you in the wrong direction - just look for the Starbucks, they're right next door.

Stopped here for the first time on my way through on a business trip. Wanted something better than gas station food and was genuinely impressed by the quality of my Philly Cheese Steak. The meat and onions were perfectly cooked and the bun was equally delicious. I also ended up leaving my backpack here and didn't realize it till 3 hours down the road. I messaged them on Facebook and they had found it and kept it safe for me to get 3 days later on my way back through. Big kudos to the Staff and ownership for the exemplary customer service. I'll be eating here every time I'm in Breezewood from now on.

Thank God this little gem exists in the vast food desert and sea of schlock that is the Breezewood interchange of interstate routes 70 and 76. Had Ronnie's turkey club - Boar's Head cappocollo, bacon, and turkey with provolone, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, oil & vinegar, banana peppers (yum!), oregano and mayo. Seemed homemade - it was really good! Breezewood is often the mid point between our home in Ohio and points in the DMV. This is definitely worth the stop and is a welcome respite from fast food when making this journey. Great service, too.

Subplicity if you go with just the name itself sub is not simplistic the flavor combos and the way it's put together is very well done this place should be a hit anywhere and if it was a box store there will be a lying around the door if you ever get a chance to be off of exit 161 off of Interstate 76 or you're near the north Breezewood Road area you definitely need to check this place out do not go to any other place stop here first you will be amazed I had a roast beef cheddar melt type thing but when he says roast beef it's not what you picture with Arby's it is nice wonderful Boar's Head roast beef that has flavor and texture to it as well as the cheddar cheese and then the Mayo I'm not sure what Mayo it is but the onions and the banana peppers I'm not a mustard fan so I didn't get the mustard on it but man did it make my mouth water and want more if I could find a way to move this company out to our area or find a way to franchise it but of course I unfortunately would have to have him because between him and his I'm assuming wife team is probably what makes this place spectacular again if you have a chance to check it out even my picky 8-year-old enjoyed the food quite well he had the Philly steak combo again don't miss out

We just stopped for lunch-2 hot chicken cheesesteaks, 1 Italian sub, and 1 club sub. They were absolutely delicious! Super nice staff and clean restrooms. Loved this place! Will definitely stop again when traveling through.

Worked up and down the East coast and these subs are the best I've ever had. Both hot and cold subs are in a league of their own. The staff are very friendly and quick. Excited to try their whole menu.

My family and I have been going through Breezewood twice a year for at least 20 years. We've always eaten at another restaurant but decided on Subplicity this year. WOW!! The restaurant and restrooms were very clean, the service was efficient and friendly, the prices were reasonable and it was locally owned---all plusses for me. Then we got our food and were just blown away!!! Everything was truly excellent-well seasoned and cooked to perfection. This is where we'll be stopping to eat from now on. Just proves that, with the right incentive (see above), you can teach old dogs new tricks.

A friend and I stopped here during our spring break road trip. Crazy good sandwiches and friendly folks. My friend got the club sandwich and I made my own, both really good. Ingredients were quality and we both loved the way their lettuce was shredded. You're not likely to walk away with squeaky clean hands but it's all worth it.
