"There are three Subrageouses in Miami (all by different owners), and while this isn’t our favorite one, the Cutler Bay shop is a fine place to get a filling Italian if you work in the area. Plus, they’re open later than most sub spots. But they’re missing some special touches. They don’t warm up the bread here like they do at the other locations, and the meat in their cheesesteak isn’t very seasoned before it’s slapped on the flat top. They also don’t leave it on there long enough to char up. Amazing staff.. Vinny and Sam always take their time with a cheerful attitude, providing great quality food and patience to make sure the order is right every time. They go above and beyond the usual expectations in providing great customer service. Hands down the best in town. Great teamwork and camaraderie. I wouldn’t choose any other subrageous !

The breakfast and subs are amazing. At first glance, you think oh this is a sub place but let me tell you the breakfast is amazing. They make the best omlettes, pancakes, French toast, grits, and cafe con leche. I was really impressed. Even my daughter thought the pancakes were better than IHOP. They were much softer. The lunch is delicious too. The staff is really nice and the place is clean.

Vinny , Ricky and Sam are the best!!! In the mist of me chatting with an old schoolmate from 30 years ago Sam being kind and courteous with a very pleasant smile . Jose made The best recommendation for me because I’m usually a bacon egg and cheese wrap girl for several years so Jose recommended the honey mustard chicken wrap. Can’t wait to dig in. However, Ricky and Sam were awesome. Vinny made my food and it looks delicious. I’ll leave another review.

This place is horrible! Don’t waste your time! Asked for Tuna Salad platter with dressing on the side and NO onions, peppers or olives. Simple right?!?! Received a tuna salad platter with onions, olives and doused in ranch. Gross!

I always have a craving for Cheese steak subs...the great Subrageous restaurant you can have my money! The sub shop is busy, fast action, clean and fresh. I like it hot subs, like: crispy Chicken tenders, Philly cheese steak and onions, hamburger (cheeseburger) subs, grilled breakfast sandwich and subs, BBQ steak, Beef Steak subs, etc...

I have been coming to this location for over 10 years. At first I thought this place only sold subs. I might add that their sub selection is excellent especially the grilled chicken with honey mustard sauce. A few months ago, I discovered that they an amazing breakfast. I have come here several times for the breakfast and I'm never disappointed. The French toast is delicious. Pancakes are delicious. Flaca makes a great cafe con leche. The service is fast, but the food is always on point. The ambience is casual as you would expect. I highly recommend you try their breakfast. You won't be disappointed.

If I live in the area, I'd give this place another try and check out the other items in the menu. My review is mostly based on food I got on my first, hopefully not last, visit. Ordered onion rings and cheesesteak sandwich with peppers, works and American cheese. The meat for the sandwich was done right but the whole sandwich wasn't that good. I barely ate 1/4 of it. (I don't like wasting food n would finish my meal) . I can't pinpoint what was wrong with it. The onion rings were just not good. Batter is too thick n sweet u can barely taste d onion. I think I just chose the wrong sandwich to try. In anyway, service was awesome. Bathroom was clean.

My wife and I have lunch at the Subrageous in Cutler Bay. The portions were generous and fresh. My wife had the Italian Sub and I always enjoyed my egg salad. The French fries were hot and cooked to perfection. The staff were very polite and the inside was kept clean. For the price I paid it was not a disappointment. Recommend try if you like sub sandwiches.

If you know you know! This spot is a legendary hidden gem down south. True story! My friend from Philadelphia tried it and he said it was prob his one of the best Philly steak subs he has ever had! Service is always on point and ambiance feels like a real mom and pop shop. The breakfast is always amazing and super affordable as well!

If I can give 0 stars I would! I bought fries with cheese and came out to almost 5 dollars and it's not the money is the fact that they literally put 2 small pumps of cheese that covered about 4 fries. When I asked if they can put on more cheese and I would pay for it they said NO!! if you don't like it I'll give u back ur money! On top of that my sandwich hardly had any chicken! And paid 21.00 for my food! Never again will I be going here again!

GAS. This is a real sub shop. I got the chicken & cheese, which is the same as a chicken philly, with mayo lettuce and tomato- delicious. And when I walked in to pick up my order and saw those mini crunchy chocolate chip cookies, they got me. 10/10 place

Every time I place an oder with Subrageous I ask for the hot sauce to be on the side, not the sub. Never fails, they don't seem to read my order. I've also notice that the bread they are using has changed and doesn't hold up. This has always been my go to place for a good sandwich even though they are expensive and used to be worth the $ but not anymore.

Stopped in while getting tires replaced and glad I did. Staff is very friendly and professional. Ordered the omelette on a sub roll (3 eggs, cheese, grilled onions, tomatoes, green peppers), side of hash browns and a large cafe con leche. Everything was perfect. Hash browns crispy outside, soft inside. Sub was delicious. All the ingredients came together perfectly in the warm bun, which was fresh and soft. Cafe con leche was exactly how I like. Overall a great experience for an early breakfast. Will definitely be back.

The Subs are greatly portioned and just as great tasting. Service is very fast. I usually order on my way there and it's hot and ready when I arrive. Easy location to find, workers are nice and readily available to help soon as you walk in.

I had the Philly cheesesteak sub with an order of fries. The fries were over cooked they were left in the fryer too long they were hard. The sun was pretty flavorless, needed at least salt and pepper. There wasn't enough cheese for my liking. And I hate that the veggies were placed in the bread first and the meat was placed on top which made all to the veggies soggy on the bread and it was a bit too oily. The service was good though, polite even though they are currently short staffed. Cheese Steak Sub from here I probably wouldn't try it again.

Went here to get a sandwich for take out. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak with American cheese mushroom and onions. The sandwich was not bad at all pretty good but I wish they had more of a selection of different cheeses. My preference for a philly cheese is usually cheddar. Service was great and quick as well.

Covid is killing people all over this country and even after a kind request, the employee cooking looked at me incredulously and shook her head, refusing to wear a mask. I explained that I have 2 immunocompromised parents at home and they still refused. Read their health inspection reports. Clearly, they care as much about food safety as they do for the health of their customers during a pandemic. After almost 20 years of patronage I will never return.

I ordered the Philly cheese steak sub over Ubereats, a lot of the meat was very fatty and waxy and I couldn't even eat it. Then I ordered a side of cheesy fries but when I received them the cheese was everywhere except for on the fries, literally the box, the bag and even the cookies that I ordered. Which brings me to my last point, I ordered 3 cookies and only received one. Very disappointing overall

I usually don't do this but the salad I had here was plain nothing but lettuce and chicken no tomatoes and sad to say that the Uber driver asked me if it was good and I say yes and I open my food and I see a plain chicken salad wow food has always been good but the several times I order there is always something wrong y'all got get with the program and hire people that want to work oh and the chicken was with no seasoning I have always had high hopes with you guys but this is the last straw I'll take my money else where

Great sub shop hidden away in a warehouse district ( those are the best kind). Subs are some of the best I've had in a while. Everything is fresh & you get the options of fries with your combo. They have breakfast, which I haven't tried yet, but have heard (read) good things about. Staff is pretty friendly & efficient. Great place for lunch. Edit: tried the breakfast....I tell you, there is no way you're ever going to get a better breakfast for less than $6.50!!! You get your choice of 4: 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, hash browns, toast or bagel. Made to order right in front of you. Awesome deal. Highly satisfying.

I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place sooner. It's my absolute favorite sub shop. I've been to their other locations, but this one is the best by far, in my opinion. 9/10 times I'll order a chicken Caesar sub & in the 5 years I've been coming to this location, it's consistently amazing every time. The other stuff I've ordered or tried has been good too, my husband's favorite is the steak philly. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a delicious sub.

On the weekdays, I never have any problems with my meal. Customer service is great and people are kind. However, this Sunday morning was not my idea of the best service. I asked for double bacon which is normally eight pieces, but I only got six. Also, the bacon was a little overdone. And I told him, he said that it is always this way. I ordered eggs over easy and I believe one of the yolks were broken on the bottom. The cook was disrespectful and use the N-word the entire time I was there. In closing, I love the restaurant during the week days, not so much on the weekends

I have enjoyed many delicious subs from Subrageous, but never made it early enough to get breakfast. Today was no exception I was an hour past breakfast but since it was Sunday and the pans for breakfast where still out the gentleman working the grill was kind enough to make it for me. I got scrambled eggs with tomatoes onions and green peppers, like the subs he grilled the veggies before adding them to the scramble while browning the hash and warming the bacon. The breakfast was so incredibly tasty I had no choice but to leave a good review for the restaurant. Not only because of how delicious it was but more so because they went out of their way to accommodate me. If you want a delicious sub, tasty salad or a fantastic breakfast you cannot go wrong with Subrageous!

I love a "hole in the wall" with great food. Substantial is a perfect example. Located in a warehouse/commercial area sits this little sub shop where you watch them make your order fresh. The "small" subs are huge and everything I've tried has been good or great. My favorite is a hot turkey, ham and roast beef on wheat. They have tons of choices for subs, tons of soda choices on the fountain with both Pepsi and Coke products, and sides including many fried items, side salads, potato salad, chips, etc. The seating accommodations are far from fancy but the food is worth the visit. Say hello to the super friendly cashier guy who always has jokes and banter to lighten your mood!

Ohhhhh, Man. Who doesn't love a good, hole-in-the-wall, hidden in the warehouse district of Cutler Bay, Sub Joint? I discovered Substantial Subs years and years ago. I'm a total sucker for their Burger Sub, which can easily feed me for two meals. Even I get bored of a Burger, though, and I've literally enjoyed ALL of my choices here over the years. The guys behind the counter are always so friendly and remember you when you walk in. The prices are definitely right, and I almost don't want to write this review, because it might give away the secret of this hidden, awesome gem of a joint!

It's fast good and the servers just want to serve you. It's basic and right to the point. So be ready to order what you want. Stand and listen to others order if it's your first time. Rrview the menu and options. You don't want to be there and keep asking questions when they ask what cheese or bread or dressing you want. In the end you'll be pleased with the quality of the food. And that's what truly matters. I love it. Always filling and great for lunch but I notice they do breakfast too. I'll have to try that.

If you enjoy substandard customer service with your cheap meats, this might be the place for you! Been here many times and watched how the staff spends more time joking around than actually providing friendly, consistent service. Has trouble getting orders correct on a regular basis and has no problem giving you attitude if you try to question them. I'm done with this joint.

I have been coming here since it was substantial subs! I have been ordering the same breakfast ham and cheese omelette with potatoes and for lunch the steak and cheese wrap since I was in elementary school. Solid place for a quick meal!
