My friend use to work here, and I would go here all the time to get food because I thought I would get a hook up. I forgot that my friend was kind of a jerk and played by the book, always charging me full price. Awesome friend, right?
Well, I am not mad. He stopped working here, but I still come in here every so often. I still see familiar faces, and I don't think any of them ever learned my name or who I was, but I am treated no different from any other customer. I get great service, and for the most part the employees (mainly college students) are really nice. One time I did come in around 9:55 p.m. on a Friday night, and I got a look of "Seriously man?" I know that feeling all too well. I use to work in food myself, and I know how a last minute customer can be while trying to close up. I had no gripes, and for as late as I came in they were still pretty friendly and as I was leaving asked me to have a great night.
Obviously we all know Subway food. I have never experienced stale bread or ended up with a smashed sub (except for my friend one time, and it was a joke and he had another sub ready for me on the spot). These guys do like to try and make customers smile and try to enrich the customer experience, and I will say that I appreciate it. Beats the awkward stand in silence while someone stares at you!
My friend may not work there anymore, but I still keep coming back. I think that says enough in itself as to how the experience is here!
