Everyone’s Making Fun of Subway’s New Protein Bowls - Eater

"While protein bowls are often geared towards the health-conscious or those looking to pack a convenient meal into an easy-to-consume format, Subway's approach offers bowls that are essentially deconstructed sandwiches without the bread. The chain assures customers the bowls are here to stay, despite them being a more aggressive version of a Subway salad. This might be a relief for folks put off by the bread's high sugar content or those following keto or paleo diets. However, the review also criticizes the bowls as struggle meals, not worth paying for when compared to Subway's sandwiches." - Elazar Sontag

Subway and Potbelly Face Layoffs and Closures Amid COVID-19 - Eater

"Subway has laid off more than 150 people, including 100 from its corporate offices, in what a PR rep says is an '[acceleration of] a restructuring plan for which we had been preparing' due to COVID-19. Subway had already laid off 300 people in February, but the pandemic is making things worse. Traffic has fallen at stores every year since 2013, and even the chain’s pivot to selling groceries out of certain locations isn’t helping." - Jaya Saxena

This is the worst Subway I’ve ever been to. If the guy is working you can BET your order is going to be wrong. My husband went last week to pick up our online order. He saw the guy putting sandwich thru the toaster oven and it looked like what I had ordered except didn’t want it toasted. He tried to get the guys attention but because he ALWAYS has ear buds in his ears he couldn’t hear my husband. So hubby just let him run it thru. When he pulled it out he asked if that was for Tammy and he said yes. Wellll my hubby told him she didn’t want it toasted plus had the wrong kind of cheese on it. He looked at the ticket and seen he made wrong. Welll I was supposed to get sweet onion chicken teriyaki with extra sauce. Now I said I didn’t want my sandwich toasted. This guy didn’t even heat the chicken up before putting on the sandwich plus where is the sauce. I tore the sandwich apart just looking for the sauce but who taught this guy that this is the way you make a wrap?!?! Hubby ordered a wrap and it’s not supposed to be toasted either but his wrap looked like he tried to make it like flat bread instead with a wrap and toasted it so it was so hard he couldn’t even eat it. $20 something dollars throwed in the trash!!! The women that work there make an excellent sandwich but turn around and walk out if the guy is working cause you’re wasting money, time and you’re gonna be pissed!!! Subway y’all need to do some firing!!! JS…

I visited the store today which I usually visit since it's close to me. Another customer walked in ahead of me. We waited at least 5 minutes and then the other customer rung the bell a couple times and nobody appeared to assist us. We both proceeded to walk out. We both made it to our car. Upon sitting in my car I wanted to use the ATM so I was looking for my card. As I was getting out I seen the subway employee walking from across the street from Brookshires direction. I proceeded to walk behind him. I tried to speak with him but noticed he had air pods or some sort of hear piece so I assumed he couldn't hear me. I did proceed in the store and stopped at the ATM. I then walk back toward subway where there were 2 different customers waiting and an additional customer beating in the restroom door saying they must be in the restroom. At the time I was a the entrance between the circle k and the subway. I so the same associate look back toward the subway section and proceed to walk out the door of the circle k. I understand there's a shortage of workers everywhere but if you don't want to serve or need a break you can at least put a closed sign on the counter because the entrance door to that subway is always locked so that wouldn't be an obvious decision. The open light was on on the door. I waited around 45 minutes expecting him to at least get a break and come back and serve due time me not wanting to drive across town. I'm 8 months pregnant and was craving a sub so I was highly disappointed. I did proceed to visit the one on Lincoln Rd and was satisfied .

This Subway Usually Has The Freshest Veggies And Meat. They're Also Well Made, IMO. Good Service With A Good Atmosphere Unless It's Busy. That's The Reason For 3 Stars For Atmosphere. It's A Small Store And Can Get Crowded Rather Quickly.

The meat is quality. The cookies are great. The staff may need to be reminded you're there when no one is at the sandwich counter. Sandwiches have always been great from this location.

I came in at 9:06p.m and the worker was closings and was rude as heck. It was a black guy with no moral or manners!!! But I will be telling everyone I know not to go there at night especially on Sunday night because he was rude and mean!! All I wanted was a sandwich and they wasn’t supposed to close until 10:00pm.. I said online said y’all close at 10p he said well I said we close at 9p and kept talking with an attitude and ugly remarks!!! Thank God I’m a changed person!!! Subway I hope next time y’all hire someone with better customer service skills!!! I will be calling corporate on the location Highway 165 N (Sterling Rd.) and Finks Hideaway Rd. Monroe, La… I wish I could give zero stars

Quick question. If a store is advertised to be open till 10pm why then, at 830pm the store closed? The people here are rude and I'm amazed this location has stayed open. Close at 830. Advertise that.

The food is good IF you can manage to get one of the lazyyy workers to make you something! I've caught on to their foolery now: after about 7:45pm they "magically" run out of the bare necessities to make a sandwhich. The bread supposedly runs out, the lettuce, the meat. Everytime. I even looked at them and said "y'all Re really out of lettuce? 😒" and he took half a second to open the fridge and close saying "yup. But the Forsyth location down the street has lettuce." SO RIDICULOUSLY LAZY please just quit if you don't want to work there are plenty of other places hiring!
