For the record, there’s an older couple that work there and are so polite. But I won’t return because of the younger manager’s condescending and rude behavior towards me (twice). He accidentally used the wrong sauce (no big deal) but when I made him aware, he told me they’re the same (baja vs chipotle). They were not (again, no big deal). Also that day he tried to convince me that toasting my spinach wouldn’t work. He thought the oven would blow the leaves off of the sandwich but this is how I always get it. I politely let him know and it turned out fine, like always. I returned again for the sandwich I originally wanted the day before (with the right sauce). I politely told him that the flavors were different, not looking for anything other than to let him know (chipotle is my favorite so I could taste it. For whatever reason maybe he wasn’t aware of the difference). His tone shifted to angry, aggressive, and condescending as he tried to tell me he knew better. He rang up the sandwich and I payed as he greeted another customer that was entering (something I hadn’t gotten either time from him but definitely from the older couple). The greeting only made me aware that his attitude toward me was probably about more than how I like my food (for reference I’m a Black woman. The innocent stranger who entered after me was a white male). I live in the connecting apartments but will not be returning. I’ve never had to defend my sandwich choices/preferences in such an openly negative environment before and I won’t continue doing it just because this manager has emotional reactions to Black women in his store. I wish the older couple the best, though. Also, he still used the wrong sauce.

I ordered a 12" meatball and I got seven meatballs instead of the eight meatballs it comes with. All they do is make subs all day. They know the sandwich comes with eight meatballs. I'll let the guy know next time I come that I only got seven meatballs the last time I came. He seemed disturbed that I placed my order online and I was waiting in line. I just wanted to watch him make my sandwich. He coldly told me to take a seat and he would make my sandwich. Next time I will tell him I prefer to stand and watch him make my sandwich.

whoever was working may 2, completely skimped my sandwich and when asked for more onions they gave me an attitude. Kept giving me pointed stares like they were annoyed. I arrived 15 minutes early on the sandwich and I wasn’t rushing them I just happened to be around and was waiting and they even rudely commented about that. Do not suggest this subway.

My wife ordered a wrap and a foot long on the app. I went to pick up the order and the man said they don't have wraps, although they have the signage in the store. I had him cancel the order. I had my wife put in a new order to do bogo foot long. He turned off online ordering so we couldn't get bogo. He lied to my face and said some places take bogo some don't. I wasted 30 min of my day. St. Charles honors bogo on the app

The owner also the sandwich maker does not like to use many ingredients when making your sandwich. And if you ask for more than a few ingredients added he laughs at you and says "anything else" very sarcastic. He's very cheap when it comes to making a sandwich.

The attention is bad, the person who attended us has no respect for Latino people, we told him that we don't speak Spanish and he was xenophobic towards us that we are going to consume in the place that's why it's always empty because of the treatment of people

The older woman here has The Nastiest attitude!!! I should be the one with the attitude having to wait 30 minutes in line because she has no staff. I will be sure to let the people in my apartment building kno w of my experience. I’ve given this location too many passes!!! Spend your money somewhere else!!!

Idk why this place has terrible reviews. I guess the person everyone's talking about doesn't work here anymore but I have had nothing but a pleasant experience when I eat here.

The times I've gone and they've actually been open they've been super nice. The lady was really sweet to me. Maybe wouldn't want to come here in a rush, but that's fine. But I will say like other of you have said they have super inconsistent business hours. You've never know if this place is going to be open or closed ever.

This subway is always consistent and the food is fresh. Due to slow days they do close early on some days, but they are very open and honest about it. The staff is helpful, polite, and it is a pleasure coming to this location.

Agree with all the other reviewers. I think I've had a sub from here once, it was ok. The other half dozen times I've gone, they were closed despite it being during their normal stated hours (morning, afternoon, evening, none of it matters - they just open when they feel like it, it seems). This Subway is the epitome of how to not run a business

Hours of operation are extremely inconsistent. It's frustrating to continue wasting my gas just to find out they are closed. The owner himself said "if I don't get customers within 2 hrs, I close". I've only been able to catch them open maybe once a week. There are many other great establishments in New Orleans that deserve this location.

I live in the apartment building above this subway location. Awful. The franchisee/owner is very inconsistent with his hours of operation, and he never is fully stocked with his menu. Always out of bread, chicken, cheese etc. i try to call to check before I come downstairs but they don't answer phones. So I go (once or twice a week) and he never has the full menu. Also-when I settle for something he does have- he gives the smallest portions, just a sprinkle. I've never experienced this at any other subway. Honestly I'll spend the extra $10 in delivery fees and get a sandwich from the subway on st Charles ave. Get it together man it's a shame you're the one I'm my apartment building

I went there yesterday around lunchtime and the man that's ALWAYS in there had an attitude with me all because he couldn't hear me. I ordered an 6in Italian herbs and cheese steak with American cheese, lettuce, jalapeños and honey mustard. This man claims I didn't tell him I wanted an 6in but I know I did because the lady in front of me ordered the same thing. As he continues to make my order he ask me if I wanted it toasted and that's when I look down at him and realized he is making an 12in, I told him I want a 6in he said "you wait until I'm done with the sandwich to tell me" I said "uh no I said it before you even started ". This man throws everything off the bread, slams the bread and cuts the bread aggressively then rolls his eyes at me as he is throwing away half of the bread that he won't be using like it's my fault he didn't hear me. I didn't say anything while this was going on not even when he ask what I wanted on my sandwich with his attitude face UNTIL he is wrapping my sandwich up at the end and starts laughing and says "you really waited until I was done with your sandwich to tell me" I told him "what's funny? You want to continue talking about it? You literally have an attitude with me because you didn't hear what I said. You're throwing stuff and rolling your eyes at me all because of a sandwich that wasn't even ALL THE WAY DONE!!!!" It was just the bread steak and cheese not even toasted, I will never go back here again, this is not how you treat customers, he has bad customer service and someone needs to bring it up to his attention. Hopefully he is not the manager at this location but I'm pretty sure he is. On that note I will be contacting HR too.

I ordered a foot-long turkey sandwich like I normally do any other time which gives you between 6 to 8 slices. Today I go into this location and was only given four slices on a FOOTLONG! I had a coupon for a BOGO footlong without even looking at the coupon the managers says she doesn't take it. The spinach was wet and gross looking asked if they had any in the back was told no. I tried giving this place a chance because it's in my neighborhood but never again.

This subway location has one star for a reason. First of all, they were out of rotisserie chicken. On top of that, the worker told me that the manager refused to accept a coupon that was to be applied to all subway sandwiches. The bad experience at this location wasn't my first one either. If I could give zero stars I would. That's what I get for going to subway with so many good poboy shops in the area.

Yet again, tried to give this store a chance for the umpteenth time. Placed my order from the menu on the wall and was told they don't have those products in stock. Tried to order two different menu items and again told not in stock. In the year I've lived here this has been an all too common occurrence. The subway corporation should audit this franchise and penalize them for repeated failures to maintain basic stock items.

It was close at 5:30 pmwhen it was supposed to close at 9 pm workers inside but will not open the door for customers I took an ubber to get their this was frustrating.

Well, I see by the other reviews this place won't last much longer. The owner has no coothe whatsoever. He had both bathrooms broken...which is illegal. A woman ate her lunch then tried to go to the bathroom and got very upset when there was no signage on the doors being out of order. She said she was calling NOPD to report it. The owner is not friendly and I will NOT return! As well as he argued with the customers!

They don't follow their business hours. They are usually closed when they are supposed to be open. They close early frequently. This place is supposed to be convenient since it is in the apartment complex, but it's really inconvenient if it's closed.

Great customer service. Both women behind the counter went beyond "customer service". I dined in and watched them act overly kind and helpful to all customers that came in. They even greeted everyone with a smile. The store was clean & organized.

Ordered a footlong turkey sandwich. It had only four slices of turkey on the sandwich, and four small triangles of cheese. Total rip off. I also said just a little ranch, and it's soaked in ranch with dressing pouring out of the end. Never going back.
