Subway

Visited before hitting MET - friendly service. Sandwiches were on par with any other Subway location, nothing to complain about. Dining area is small and it's not the best part of the city (read - plenty homeless) but they keep dining room pretty clean. Hotshot Italian Sub 12" plus bottled cola with tips will set you up for $17 - quite reasonable (DC is here, YMMV)

This place serves nice meaty sandwiches compared to other outlets. Good value and they load it up. I’ll be back to this location.

I have eaten here and gotten sandwiches delivered. But no matter what it's always either the wrong size, food poisoned, terrible taste, stale or moldy bread, or just everything wrong in general along with terrible service. NEVER AGAIN.

I didn’t get my receipt but I was there at 3:20pm. I ordered a number 16 and another 6in. The lady working the line she had red orange hair under her hat, gold nose ring, short about 5’3 or 5’4. She was yelling at her coworkers in a degrading, unprofessional way. You could tell the older lady was new to the job and she yelled at her, spoke down on her as if she was not even a human being. As a customer, along with other customers on the line, it made me feel awful to even spend my time or money there. It was so sad and uncomfortable. Your team should know how to talk to others in a calm and patience way, especially when they are new to the job. No one should be treated in such a manner. I hope you all hold this employee accountable. Everyone that works for your company should be treated fairly.

I asked to speak to a manager to settle an issue, the employee just kept saying "no", he even said no to things that didn't make sense like he just turned into a malfunctioning "no robot" Eventually the boss I presume walks in and kind of hears me out about the situation, mind you, as I'm pleading my case the same employee is trying to speak over me and not let me speak to the manager. Here comes the weird part, believe it or not the entire time he referred to his boss, it sounded like he was saying "master" no I am not joking and the managers name was kabib on the name tag so unless his first name is something similar sounding, it seemed like he was saying Master. Anywho kabib seems to understand and almost gives me my sandwich (made wrong by employee btw, he put cheese alone on the bread to toast THEN remembered the steak so twice toasted with cheese stuck to bread) Kabib goes around back, and I guess the employee was so set on not letting me have me poorly made sandwich he whips out his phone, shows kabib something, they're pointing looking at the phone, while the employee says something alone the lines of "this is him right?!?", man I have no idea who he thinks I was but I've never had an incident at any fast food restaurant so unsure what was shown but after that they both proceeded to ignore me and serve the next customer while I just tried to figure out what just happened, and have a conversation. Overall the employee who only said no needs to learn to properly communicate with customers. Kabib seemed okay but was easily swayed by lord knows what on the phone and that wasn't right. To top it off ignoring me like I dont exist is wild. Worst subway I've ever been to, worst experience at a restaurant or fast food spot and I think kabib and his apprentice need to work in an environment where treated people right isn't part of the job.

The morning worker here with the tattoos working at 8:30 am on May 23, 2024 comes off as rude. I came in 2 days ago around this time and she appeared to be bothered that I was interrupting her foul mouth conversation with her friend. I will avoid future morning run ins at this Subways

This one is right by my brothers house so it is convenient. I always get the tuna fish and it never disappoints. Very friendly and well trained staff at this location. and sparkling clean!

I order egg and cheese. The guy talk so rude. And he changed me $8.80. I ask him how you change me. Because eggs and cheese prices $6.something He said you have to pay first then I tell you.he changed me extra money.

Whoever was working at 3am on new years morning was very nice and made our sandwiches perfectly. They were great and he deserves a promotion. Thank you for the great food

What's with all the old bad reviews? It's a Subway sandwich shop. What do people expect? To me this is a decent stop for an inexpensive lunch. I'll get the footlong tuna on the 9 grain honey oat. Throw on some provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, and banana peppers and I'm all set. Make it a combo with a drink and chips and it's a party! Service is ok here. Seems clean enough. Again, if you don't expect extravagant eats this is passable for a cheap meal.

Hey Folks! Why the negative reviews? The 6 inch Black Forest Ham Saturday Special was $3.80 including tax. She put Four slices of ham! Bonus points for that. She was polite and answered my crazy questions! The place looks clean. My sandwich is squished because I put it in my already loaded handbag! So I did that. I took my Six Inch Sub home. It's easy to squish because the bread is so fresh. I had the 9 Grain Honey Oat Bread, Black Forest Ham, American Cheese, added lettuce, olives, mayo and mustard! Guaranteed stomach ache. This Subway is very close to the train and busy shopping area at 86th Street and Lexington Avenue. I grabbed lunch after church today. Very convenient on a rainy day. I have no issues here!!

While walking on the upper east side I needed a rest break and the local subways shop is good enough to grab a grade C sandwich and Grade A cookies . Your basic subways shop and it was good enough for a 30 minute visit for a veggie sandwich with a few cookies, chips and diet coke. THE guys behind the counter were friendly and didn't rush me to leave as I was the only fool inside and grabbing 10 assorted cookies for the next day made by workers happy somewhat. The sandwiches don't fill your belly but add 3 cookies, a bag of chips and large soda then that should hold you for a few hours or longer.

I was threatened by an employee that he would smack the shit out of me and my friend. He called us names and was verbal and walked up to my face .This all happened over me using the bathroom to was my hands . An unexpected and awfully bad experience that I will share with everyone. This location has there bathroom always locked and have an excuse that it is out of order . Never ever go here .

So-so at best. I never like what to me is the slightly sour smell of most Subways. But sometimes the place appeals perversely.

Meatball marinara gave me food poisoning. Never getting ever again, beware of this location.

I wanted to try the new Chicken Caesar wrap and stopped in for lunch today. I arrived around 3:00 PM - 8/13/18. There are a number of observations - 1.) . I appreciate that all employees enjoy working at the counter and servicing counters, but the dining area requires work - tables not clean, no attention to anything other than serving and waiting for additional customers. 2.) . I have a feeling that the chicken used in these sandwiches arrives frozen and is used in the wraps. I saw the counter person put the chicken in an oven. This is fine as it is fresh, BUT, this made my wrap very watery. In eating the wrap, I felt that it was filled with a lot of extraneous liquid that really didn't make the meal overly appealing. I believe this location requires a little work.

The other reviews here on point the worst customer service here you will experience. The guy here would not make my sandwich unless I paid for it first. I used to go twice a week he didn't recognize me. This place is full bigots that make sandwiches. As others say, this place is extremely rude.

The smell of their bread drew me in. The cut behind the counter couldn't be nicer, offered to scoop middle out of the bread and took the time to ask if I wanted it toasted,more toppings etc. this is my first time in Subway in almost a decade and really enjoyed it. Don't expect freshly grilled chicken or top shelf ingredients, this is a great inexpensive place to get a fast sandwich.

A few days ago I got a 6 inch turkey sub with 3 cookies and a drink. I was eating the cookies and I found a white hair baked into one of the cookies. I was soo mad and I called them and the guy on the phone said he'd give me free cookies next time and a cash advance. I said ok and came back today but they were giving me a hard time. The only reason I even got the cookies for free was because the other customer told him to because he wanted to order and he looked like he was getting annoyed. There's another one that's not far so I'll just start going there. It's not about the cookies for me it's the shitty customer service. Why lie and say I'll get it if I'm gonna get a hard time and if you didn't communicate that to anyone else? Whatever I'm definitely not going back

The bread is very thin and they put little ingredient， compare to other subway is not as tasty as others

This is my favorite subway in the world! Okay, I don't know about the WHOLE WORLD, since I have not been around the WHOLE WORLD! :P This is my go-to Subway. The folks working here are really awesome. I mean they are friendly, and always remember me. Maybe it's because I love Subway! It's my one temptation. I eat organic and all that jazz at home. But once a week or so I do stop in! I love the 4 dollar lunch special. You cannot go wrong! With all of them veggies? You are lucky to get pizza for 4 bux. Go grab a sandwich from Subway! Your waistline will be thanking ya for it, unless you are preggies like I am! Ok, sorry my bad- preggie brain! Let's get back on track. Subway review: It's a Subway Sandiwch Shop. This Subway is pretty big. Always plenty of seating. They have a restroom (good for me, right) :) The ingredients are always fresh. I have a very sensitive stomach and have never had any indigestion nor have I ever gotten ill from this Subway. One advantage is that this subway is located in a busy area of the UES. This means everything is always being replenished. Veggies, meats, and bread...ect Can't say much more than I can for a sandwich shop! Go here :) They will remember ya, and greet you. It's a neighborhood place. At least for me. I tend to be very nice to people working in stores and basically anywhere. I know what they have to put up with. I give them a lot of credit to have to put up with the public. Again summing it up: Great folks, great location, fresh food, great prices and a bathroom.

Service at this particular Subway branch sucks. They have an army of staff, yet only one of them actually working. I guess they don't understand the word "recession," or that people are being layed off left and right these days. There are lots of better choices for lunch or a snack nearby.

On subway's $3 breakfast sandwich deal: She reaches a tepid hand into a bin with matching yellowed circles. These are the eggs - I know this only because I ordered an egg & cheese sandwich. Already nearly lifeless, they're lined up on death row, awaiting their fate in the microwave. At least its met by a sprinkle of cheese, although it's thrown onto the egg like discarded scraps for a dog. Still, they're happy to come together for a moment, resting on a bed of quasi-bread, like a foam mattress. She delivers them to their impending death. After a few minutes, I see them again, cheese bubbling grotesquely, eggs complacent. When I ask for avocado, she mumbles half heartedly, like a Subway conductor at twilight. She begins cutting open plastic encasing greenish sludge. "No thanks actually," I say. What was once a bright green ombre oracle had been decimated, stuffed and suffocated inside plastic. She pointed at the other vegetables. Pale and limp, they had accepted their reality. "No thanks."

Let me preface by saying that I am extremely easy and it is very difficult to get me upset, but this subway restaurant managed to do it. I walk in and am immediately greedy by an individual who seems pissed that I'm interrupting his day. I order my sandwich, pay, then ask for some tap water. The man procedes to refuse me tap water and goes on like its going to make me want to buy bottled water. If that wasn't enough, the same sandwich I get at every subway was terrible. I used to love subway. The one in Pleasantville, NY is great, as is the one on East Ave and Alexander in Rochester, NY, but if there is one thing I've learned from my experience, it's that these are the exception rather than the rule. As a general code, I harbor no ill will towards anyone. However "the code is more what you'd call guidelines." If I got my wish this subway would go out of business fast and an open letter from the executive team at subway would be published apologizing to everyone and detailing how they intend to improve quality control to prevent such horrible forks of their franchise from damaging their brand.

11 dollars for foot long sandwich (oven roasted chicken). I thought it was a mistake at first.

A subway that is quick and efficient is all I ask for and this place has it. Bread was fresh, and they were not cheap with the toppings which at certain places that can happen. The minus in the star is that I had to wipe my out table.

My love fo this one has somewhat decreased as their customer service has gone down hiil. Plus side, they're open 24 hours.

If you want a healthy sandwich, step right in. It's subway what else did you expect? This location is quiet so for the most part you can eat in peace. I come here after gym.

Whenever I go to this Subway, they seem upset that you are asking for service, or any kind of questions. I also dont like the fact that refills are a dollar, where others are 50 cents at the most. not to mention their food grade is still pending, which is not a good sign.

Nothing beats a $5 foot long for a rather healthy, filling lunch. Staff here is very friendly and helpful

Very rude service. I ordered a footlong with an employee discount because I work in the area and they told me that I have to get chips and a drink to complete the order. I do so and was overcharged. When I was questioned about it, they said it was the wrong sandwich and I couldn't use it because it was the wrong sandwich where clearly they said i had to get the additional chips and drink. The Subways employee refused to do the return then took the employee card, crumbled it and threw the chips at me and said to not come back then refunded my order. I was treated with disrespect where I was polite. Will report to corporate.

Worst customer experience. Food was dry, I almost tripped on the broken tiles on the floor, bathroom was disgusting, very demeaning towards customers and the staff was very rude. Don't go here, its horrible. This was the worst Subway I have ever been to. If I could give this place -5 stars, I would.
