I ordered a veggie delight sandwich in person at the store. I was told it would be $9 and some change after tax. I paid with a gift card and when I looked at my receipt after going back to work, I was charged for a steak and cheese which is $12.86 after tax. I called the store letting them know what happened and that I’d like the price difference back since I was charged for the wrong thing.
The employee argued with me, said I must’ve been given the wrong receipt, and told me to bring the sandwich back and they’d make a new one which isn’t at all the issue. I asked how I’m supposed to skip lunch and bring back a sandwich 5 hours later when the sandwich isn’t the problem and I was charged for the wrong item and that I have pictures of my sandwich. He started to raise his voice and hung up on me.
Mistakes happen which is fine. I just wanted them to make it right/give me my money back. The sandwich wasn’t even good. Don’t waste your money here. Go to any other subway store or actually, don’t go at all.
