We celebrated Valentine’s Day at this Michelin Guide Restaurant. What a great pick!
Service: 5/5 - It was easy to make a reservation with Pablo when we called. There was no wait time.
We were welcomed when we arrived at the restaurant and promptly seated.
Camila was a wonderful host. She was friendly and very professional. Always there but not intruding. She suggested dishes and was attentive to every detail, serving wine when needed, and making sure nothing was missing.
It was very impressive to see how the waiters and servers worked together as a team, always paying attention to every table and jumping in as needed. A well-trained group of young people.
It was a genuinely nice gesture for the Manager to check if all was okay.
Food/Beverages: 5/5 - We very much enjoyed the special eggplant appetizer that we shared and the lasagna and the risotto. We loved the dulce de leche volcano desert, paired with a torrontes from the San Pedro de Yacochuya winery that we visited in Salta.
The risotto was a notch too salty and the lasagna portion was small. Still, at the end of the dinner we did not feel that we had eaten too much and were happy and satisfied.
Ambience: 4/5 – The restaurant is very nicely set up, however the music was a notch too loud and the tables are close to each other, so that it was easy to overhear the next table’s conversation.
Value: 4/5 – Somewhat pricey, perhaps driven by foreign tourists and inclusion in the Michelin guide.
Can recommend it to others!
