Suculenta Cocina Mexicana

I love that Austin is so vegan friendly but it’s not always easy to find good vegan food. Suculenta knows exactly what they’re doing. Their mushroom and plant based steak tacos were amazing!!!

The food was delicious and it came to our table fast and the atmosphere is everything. The traditional Mexican pottery and dishes are so beautiful. I will definitely be back soon~!

Tried Suculenta at The Domain and loved it! We had the carne asada and al pastor tacos — super tasty and full of flavor. The meat was juicy, the tortillas were fresh, and the salsa had just the right spice. Great spot for a quick bite if you’re around. Definitely coming back for more tacos!

Bland, Tasteless, and Absolutely Disgusting! This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The tacos were completely bland… no seasoning, no taste, no love for the food at all. Everything tasted processed, like it came straight from a factory instead of a kitchen. And then it got worse. Halfway through, I found a human hair in the meat. That was it for me. For the price they’re charging, you’d expect at least some effort, but this was unacceptable on every level. Save your money and go anywhere else.

So many delicious flavors to try! I had the opportunity to try a few small dishes during the Starlight Event at the Domain. The employees were very friendly and always had a smile on their faces

What an amazing and authentic experience I had !! The short rib taco is something special, but also the taco de Chamorro was impressive tasteful and delicious, this place is definitely underrated it should be a 5 stars completely bravo !! Que tacos tan buenos !!!

Super good food and presentable! I ordered the Gringa de Pastor. Should definitely come and try it with their mango drink. Besides the good food, the area is super clean.

Sometimes you can just tell before you taste anything. This food truck at the Domain was a first time stop for me tonight after playing with my pooch at the dog park. I rarely order online the first time at a place I rather drive up to the establishment and usually that gives you a sense of what the experience might be. In this case the menus were a dead giveaway - not a generic taqueria food truck. This is elevated cuisine that happens to be served out of a truck. The gentleman cooking has to be a highly trained chef. He has a nice logo and inviting setup but let's face it we are there to eat. He has amazing vegetarian options (not my thing) but my wife loves loved the squash taco. I ordered a salad (again not typical) that was outstanding scratch honey mustard dressing with spinach goat cheese and cranberry with sliced apples and walnuts that are coated in something yummy. The taco pastor was good and large with a delicious tomatillo salsa. Simple. But the banger were the enchiladas mole - possibly some of the best I've had at least in the states. Deep mole flavor with sesame seeds and delicious shredded chicken. Cannot wait to go back. He is right in front of the theatre next to the Beirut truck some of the best Lebanese food if not the best in Austin. Run. ‍

My wife & I's favorite taco place by far! Before moving to Austin whenever we visited, we always came to suculenta, no matter how far we were! Now that we live in Austin, it's even better! The service, great! The ambiance, amazing! Can't wait to go again, soon!

I ordered Carne Asada Tacos to go and the meat was extremely salty and tough. The salsa they give you with it was spicy and delicious tho. It took quite a while to receive my food and I was the only one there.

This is by far the most elevated food truck experience I've ever had! Food and presentation are phenomenal, feels like you're eating at a high-end authentic Mexican restaurant. Tableware is from Mexico and it's gorgeous. The owner Mario is the sweetest! He is from Jalisco but entrees are inspired from all over Mexico such as Baja California, Yucatán, Oaxaca, etc. We got the chilaquiles with chicken tinga, mole poblano chicken enchiladas, beef barbacoa taco, and blackened shrimp tacos with fresh mango. All were great but don't skip the Baja California blackened shrimp tacos!!! Those were a standout. One of the best I've ever had! They also have a special for dia de los muertos, the beautiful Catrina dessert. It's an art masterpiece although I personally prefer something more indulgent for a dessert. I loveeed the guava cheesecake! It's topped with a guava sauce and caramelized nuts, and was so delectable. Get the drinks! The refreshing Hibiscus agua fresca and cinnamon-y horchata were literally perfect. Not too sweet. Can't wait to be back! :)

Pretty god enchiladas. They weren't as spicy as they could have been, but cheesy and very good. Beans and rice were enjoyable as well. The food truck has a cute exterior and they set out tables for the event with shade provided as well. The service was pretty good and they got our food to us quickly.

The Lord works in mysterious ways.. I had ventured to the food court to chow down at Beirut ( incredible food and great people) any way they weren't open so tried Suculenta .. WOW! Sarah and Franco are so hospitable and kind .. the food is a 5/5 . Seriously... this is a great spot to eat and people watch.

This was the cutest food truck ever! I believe I got some Rachero egg dish that came with sides and the value was really good for what I got. It tasted excellent and with just the right spices. I also love how they had some ambiance, which is not something I usually associate with food trucks. The girl at the front was nice and didn't speak much English, which is how I knew I was getting the real deal! Will definitely go again

Truly an elevated food truck experience! The patio setup is so cute, and it's really nice that they serve food on real tableware when you eat there. Husband is a mole fiend, and the mole poblano here is his new favorite in all of Austin. I had the lengua taco (delicious) and the monthly special, the cauliflower tacos, which were superb!

Delicious food with amazing service. This food truck is so cute and has a clean area with tables if you wish to dine in. Definitely recommend trying the Hurache!

I found the food here to be healthy but lacking in flavor. I was a little disappointed given how expensive it is! The other reviews contradict my experience tho. I will probably give it another try to see if my impression changes.

Great food truck experience outside a movie theatre venue. Even though it was cold and the sun hit us at the wrong angle to sit comfortably at their outdoor seating- they tried to make us comfortable as possible. Nice wait staff, menu a bit deceiving as we both got Mexican coke at $4.75 EACH! He got 2 tacos- one was pork one was beef- says they were really good, lots of meat. Sauces good. Got corn tortillas, not theirs made (seemed he said), cilantro and onion. I got Guadalajara enchiladas and tried both red and green sauce, both great but I preferred the red. They weren't super spicy so next time I'll try the spicy enchiladas- enchiladas Suiza. Great place to get interior Mexican, Tex-Mex and California style Mexican. They have it All and we will return.

Absolutely delicious! Real Mexican food, not tex mex. I'll be back everytime I go to the Ipic movies in the Domain. Literally right beside each other!!

I love mole. I had the enchiladas. They were solid and way better than expected from a food truck. Totally scratched the itch. I didn't find them greasy like the other review said so theirs might have been a fluke or a mismatch of expectations. But the mole was on the runny side and I prefer it thick.

The pastor was dry and they only gave me a little sliver of a lime for my tacos. This my third time trying this place and at best it's a hit or miss. Definitely not worth the price tag

Omg. Best carne asada tacos I've ever eaten. These are the cooks that you dream about until you get another opportunity to try the food. They gave my daughter chicken enchiladas even tho she ordered cheese but it was so good she didn't even complain. Outstanding

I have been there 4 times since they opened because the food is that good. They are always so friendly and the service is quick. We've tried the enchiladas suizas, al pastor tacos with melted cheese, carne asada tacos, the costilla tacos, and the honey mustard salad. All of these items have been so good that I've yet to even try the chilaquiles which are usually my go to. I cannot recommend this place enough- these tacos are beyond your average taco and the best I've had since living in Austin. The flavor, the service, the presentation, just everything is done thing you will crave.

Chicken tinga tacos are amazing, great chicken great flavour, will have to be back to try others as they have a really great sized menu.

I got a burrito with beyond steak and it was delicious. Staff was friendly and the wait wasn't too bad.

Finally, authentic Mexican food in Austin! Some of the best tasting carne asada tacos and salsas we've had in a long time. Their food truck at the Domain has a comfy seating area, and the service was quick. We look forward to returning and trying other menu items.

Had the carnitas tacos on Friday for lunch. Unbelievably good. Brought my son there the next day and we both had the carnitas bowl. Amazing. Great place.
