We went to this location last night at 10pm, coming from LAX. We were all looking forward to getting ramen and since I have had ramen from Suehiro (both dine in and for delivery), this was our choice.
When we got there, there were only 2 people in there. So we waited to be seated by the waitstaff. The wait staff was packing orders for delivery so after 5 minutes of just standing there and waiting for her to even acknowledge us, my husband asked if we can have a table for 4. The wait staff said, "just a moment", even though there were like, 4 or more unoccupied tables we can take. Again, out of courtesy and respect for the restaurant, we waited for the waitstaff - she was still busy doing something at the counter.. so another 5 minutes passed by, and still nothing from the waitstaff! To think that it will only take her a maximum of 5 seconds to tell us to take seat, or choose a table that we want. So I asked her, "can we at least take a seat?" Again she said, "just a moment". So we were still standing there, waiting for her, for another 5 minutes, until finally, I decided to just leave. She made it seem like we weren't even there.
So on our way out, that was when she started talking to us, and the first thing she said was, "Ok, we do not have any restroom for customers".
Unbelievable! We already know that first of all, and we weren't there for a restroom, we were there to eat! So I just told her that we were just going to leave.
I love Suehiro Mini, but what the waitstaff did last night was not right. I think she lacks customer service skills and management should look into this. This 1 star is for the waitstaff. If only I can give her no star at all, I would.
We left so disappointed.
