Sueño Americano

First time here. Many options to choose from. I had the guatita. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. Lemonade was a little sour, seem like it was fresh squeezed. Definitely a place to visit.

This restaurant is fabulous. Their service is fast. I ordered chicken Francese their best dish. The food is fresh and the waiters are very friendly. The place is clean and all furniture is new. The bathroom is clean and smells excellent. The bar is large. They also have a venue avaiable for private parties.

The food is good...the reason I'm giving two stars is because when I went with my family (about 9 people) when we asked for dinner specials they responded that there was no more. They did it because the dinner special is cheaper ($9) than the dish menu($15-$20). So we ended up ordering dishes from the menu. Meanwhile a couple ordered something, my surprise is when they actually got the dinner special, and so did two more people. I asked the waitress why did they refused to give us the dinner specials and she did not know what to say. And unfortunately it was the owner who ordered the waitress to do this with us. We ended up paying about $150. I won't come back to this place and just be careful when you ordered to make sure you get what you want even if it's cheaper.

Badly cooked food. The food seems like its been cooked days in advanced. They didn't even have chicken when we went there. For the prices I suggest other restaurants in the area where the service and food is much better.

I ordered a typical plate, a Bandeja Paisa which is consists of rice, beans, steak, fried egg, avocado, fried crackling and sweet plantain. They must have forgotten to fry the crackling though, because it was unusually soft and mushy. Likewise they forgot it was supposed to be 'sweet' plantain since mine was extremely firm and had very little flavor. And speaking of 'no flavor', the rice and steak had no salt and was extremely underseasoned. My cup of water though had an abundance of flavor as well as a slight pink hue that made it taste like strawberry soda, making it clear they did not wash the cups properly. Others I was with did not have a good time either. As an Ecuadorian restaurant we naturally wanted an Ecuadorian soda (like Manzana or Tropical). They ran out (which was understandable) and instead offered Fanta (which again, was understandable) however they instead delivered Sunkist (which a waiter returned and never offered us a chance to make another decision) and then had the gall to actually try to charge us for the soda that we didn't even drink (it was still in a can). Our waitress only came back at the end of the meal to rush us the bill (some other waiter served the food and removed the can of Sunkist). Overall it was poor service for a meal you can get at literally any of the other Spanish restaurants within easy walking distance of this place. I would not recommend Sueno Americano.

Great place to sit down and eat! Food is authentic and delicious. They deliver fast as well!

Food was decent. The layout of this place gives me more of a cafeteria feel because of its size and seating arrangements.

TerribleWe reserved a table and they didn't keep up their word of having a reserved table for us after waiting an hour.We have to walk out.

We were looking for a place to eat on our way back to La Guardia airport and the Uber driver recommended us this place...And he was not wrong: the service and quality of the food were really good. Prices are a bit on the high side but I do think it is worth it. The dishes are from Ecuador, Venezuela and Colombia; so if you are in the neighborhood and like this type of food, give them a try...I do think you are going to like it.

According to our waitress, this new restaurant opened in June, and there's no credit card minimums. And we had the pleasure of meeting their manager Santiago as well, they were both very nice. To be continued...

The food was delicious and the ambiance was fun and even romantic. We chose this place because it's big and open easily accommodated a party of 15 and there was another big party there as well. Jose G. Was amazing, super attentive, and made sure that we were always taken care of. The rest of the staff also worked hard to make sure we had a wonderful experience. La comida estaba deliciosa y el ambiente estaba alegre. El local es amplio y también hay barra. José G es el héroe de este lugar. Desde que llegamos el fue muy atento y siempre regreso a la mesa para asegurarse todo todo estaba bien con nuestro grupo. Al fin de nuestra cena podemos decir que tuvimos en experiencia excepcional.

Lovey staff and very tasty South American/Intl dishes with great portions and fun party music! Also just found out there's karaoke every night! Their martinis are yummy too (:

Wow, Sueño Americano Mexican Bar Restaurant was actually excellent. The set-up is quite cute. Everything that I have purchased was really good and I would come back to have it again! The servers are really helpful and attentive. Sueño Americano Mexican Bar Restaurant is hands down the best.

Worsr restaurant ever try to avoid it !!!! Rudest people ever i left my sons chain here and they found it and refuse to give it back unless i pay 50$ for them checking the cameras im going to file a police report on them !
