Singapore's top vegan and vegetarian restaurants

"A Taiwanese import located in Raffles City, this spacious, minimalist restaurant offers inventive Italian-inspired vegetarian fare suited to an elevated casual meal. Crowd-pleasers include a Star Pizza with cream cheese and wasabi-tomato sauce, a Baked Shell Pasta with black truffle, and comfortier plates like olive fried rice, broccoli-and-pumpkin curry risotto and a lion's mane mushroom steak. The calm, modern interiors make it a reliable option for diners seeking familiar Western flavours with vegetarian twists." - Hazel Vincent de PaulandMegan Tan

We had a very good meal at Sufood. The food was genuinely delicious, with complex and satisfying flavors that are sometimes hard to find in plant-based cuisine. The service was also excellent—fast, attentive, and friendly. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is a conceptual one. For a vegan meal, it felt like it was missing a core element: the fresh, crisp vitality of raw or simply steamed vegetables. Many dishes were rich, saucy, and cooked through. That said, the taste was outstanding. We'll definitely be back, and we'd just love to see a bit more freshness on the plate to make the experience complete!

Very classy vegetarian dining. I came here due to the GrabFood promotion, and I’m so happy I found out about this restaurant :) First, the staff are very extremely professional and kind. They will look out for you and treat their guests with the utmost respect. Secondly, every dish tastes good. The flavours are very well balanced. The benefits of eating such healthy food is priceless. And the prices here are, in my humble opinion, way too low for what this is worth. I was so surprised to find such a great restaurant in the CBD with $28++ for a lunch set (one main, one salad, one sweet vinegar drink and a breadstick) It is a very good place to have a tasty meal in any setting: treating your colleagues, nice family occasion with relatives, or even a romantic date (tables for 2 people are cosy and the size of the table doesn’t feel so distant) Thank you to the wonderful team for the times I have visited during my short lunch break; they accommodated me as much as they could to help me have a quick and good lunch :)

Aug'25. The presentation of the dishes was elegant and creative, and the ingredient combinations were quite interesting. The restaurant environment was decent too. However, the flavors were just average and the value for money wasn’t great. Overall, it didn’t leave a strong impression, and I don’t see myself coming back again very soon.

Our experience at the Raffles Place outlet fell short on multiple fronts. Most of the dishes were underwhelming — either lacking flavour or just felt like they were going through the motions. A few were barely average, and nothing really stood out. The biggest letdown was the lava cake, which came out dry in the centre with no molten chocolate flow at all — a dessert that promises indulgence but delivered none. Service was equally disappointing. The server seemed unsure of the orders, mixing up drinks and not remembering who ordered what. For a place that offers set meals, you’d expect smoother coordination and better attentiveness. The tea ordered by two of our guests was completely bland, tasting more like hot water than any sort of infusion. And the soup tasted like something poured straight out of a can — far from the comforting, nourishing starter we hoped for. Overall, the whole experience felt impersonal and poorly executed. Sufood has a nice concept, but this visit was a reminder that good intentions aren’t enough without quality food and basic service standards. Sadly, won’t be returning anytime soon.

Seeing many good reviews decided to try 8 course vegetarian dinning. Nice presentation and flavor well balanced. Staffs are very friendly and give suggestions on our ordered dishes, as we afraid maybe too much or too little. Good to have some friends to eat together as the main dish /salad and dessert can share.

One of our go-to spots for vegetarian food! Sufood never disappoints, especially with their value-for-money set meals where every course feels thoughtfully crafted. The mulberry cider and appetizer made for a refreshing start, setting the tone for the meal. Both soups were standouts — the Double-Boiled Cordyceps White Fungus Soup with Black Garlic had a deep, herbal profile, while the Miso-Kombu Soup with Lotus Seeds was lighter yet equally flavorful. For the mains, we enjoyed the Lion’s Mane Mushroom Steak and the Zesty Oyster Mushroom Stone Pot 5-Grain Rice, both hearty and satisfying in their own way. Dining here is always a delightful experience, and it remains one of our favorite spots whenever we’re craving wholesome, flavorful vegetarian cuisine.

Had their eight course meal ($42.80++ each). Was initially worried that we were over-ordering, but the portion size was not that large. Three of the eight courses could be described as appetisers/palette cleansing drink. There was also a dessert and a beverage. The remaining three courses are a salad, a soup and a main dish. All dishes were big on taste. (5 stars out of 5). As for value, some felt that it was worth it, others felt it was on the pricey side. (4 stars out of 5 for value) A couple of suggestions: In the menu, there could be a guide on the level of sweetness of the apple cider and the desserts, so that diabetic-friendly options could be chosen. We should also indicate whether we would like dressing on our salads. Overall, my family enjoyed the meal!

Yelp
Food is delicious.Menu states clearly whether there is dairy or not. Recommended by non-vegetarians. Service is quite good. Nice restaurant ambiance.

Yelp
Tonite I am being invited to a tasting of new dishes which will be lauching on 1 Nov. A 8-course meal here costs $29.80++ and consists of starter, bread, cider, salad, soup, main, dessert and drink. We start the meal with the usual which are vinegar cider and breadstick. SUFOOD Signature Cider It is tasted sweet and tart, which is used for palate cleansing. Rosemary Breadsticks It is served with either Mustard or Blueberry Dip. I myself prefer the blueberry dip as it is sweet and rich in taste. Soup: Misto Mushroom Soup hearty stew of mixed mushrooms simmered in vegetable stock that deliver a refreshing taste The soup is made of 4 different types of mushrooms - Button mushroom, White Shimeji Mushroom, Bai-ling mushroom (bai ling gu 百靈菇), and Brazil mushroom 巴西蘑菇. The Brazil mushroom has a unique dried up appearance but taste crunchy. The soup is light and flavourful. I wish that we could have been served more of it. Main courses: Rainbow Baked Pasta classic Italian baked pasta filled with broccoli, cherry radish and oven-baked in signature creamy tomato sauce The dish is kind of similar to another dish Macaroni Alfredo Casserole in this current menu, but this version is made with pink sauce which kind of make the dish less rich in taste. Zesty Oyster Mushroom Rice King oyster mushrooms infused with spicy sauce, served with oven-roasted rice and garnished with colourful vegetables It is the restaurant's version of Bibimbap, but the taste is a far cry from the actual stuff. I feel that too much doenjang (a salty soybean paste) is added, which makes the dish rather salty. The rice has a odd curry powder taste which the staff replys that it is from the spinach. This is just not my kind of dish. Lucky Clover Pizza A lucky 6-leaf clover shaped pizza filled with Lion's mane mushrooms, broccoli, pepper and scallions The part that is topped with scallions, kinda of reminds me of the chinese style of Spring onion pancakes 葱油饼. Almost want to ask if there is vinegar dip to go with it. The Lion's mane mushrooms is diced up to represent meat cubes. Interesting. White Ferula Pesto Pasta Italian pasta sautéed with fresh basil pesto and topped with White Ferula Mushrooms The pesto sauce is quite rich and flavourful, which is balanced by the shredded pickled red cabbage in taste. The pine nuts give a nutty texture to the dish. One of my favourite dish tonight. Dessert: Mango Frollino A flavourful layered cake with fresh mango cubes, custard sauce and blueberry The top and the bottom are covered with egg crepe. The custard is served frozen with the mango cubes in it, in order to hold its shape. Feel that it would be better if there is more mango in it. Fruit Juices: For Fruit Juices, there is 5 new drinks whose colors assoicated with the restaurant's logo, but only 4 are served in this tasting. The Comfy White in color, the drink is made of pear and yucca roots. Refreshing and cooling in taste. I am expecting the drink to be thicker since yucca root is used. The Lively Red in color, the drink is made of tomato and watermelon. Tastes mainly the watermelon. Would have prefer a stronger amount of tomato juice in it. Seem that cherry tomatoes are used here which is why the amount is not noticeable. The Purely Green in color, the drink is made of choy sum and sour plum. The sour plum lends a unique sour taste to the otherwise rather green drink. It really shooks one awake. The Sunny Yellow in color, the drink is made of orange and pineapple. Light and refreshing in taste. Overall the food is not bad. Although the servings are in tasting portions, we are all quite full at the end of the meal. Looking forward to the launch of the dishes on 1 Nov.

Yelp
A long overdue TGIF dinner meetup with 4 of my bffs, and one of them suggested Sufood. As it's centrally located and comes highly recommended by 2 of them, Sufood we went last night. Once I stepped in, I'm filled with positive vibes - really like their simple and elegant decor at its main entrance. My gut feel that it's a Taiwanese Restaurant was proven correct when I asked my gf for confirmation. Good start! All 5 of us decided to have the value for money $29.80 set dinner (see picture for full details) as we wanted to share and try everything! I'm so glad we did as we loved almost everything that we ordered. The plating was delightful, portions were decent-sized and we lapped everything up. I must mention the dips! We love their dips - they helped to enhance the taste of each dish, bringing out their full flavours. The wait staff were attentive, the ambience was good (albeit a bit noisy as it was full house) and it's evident from the happy chatter and laughter resonating in the restaurant that people were enjoying the food and having a good TGIF night. I kept on telling my gfs that I'll come back to this eatery again very soon - simply love their food cooked with a lot of SOUL. I'll be back for sure!

Yelp
Modern vegetarian dining hailed all the way from Taiwan is now in Singapore. Some of the dishes look better than it tastes but the plating and the colour of the food is definitely attractive and appetizing. Fancy italian vegetarian food. My table was served by a very happy and hospitable Taiwanese server. His charisma surely rubbed off some positive nodes to our dining experience. Vegetarian dining never looked so pretty to me till Sufood came along. With a full 8 course set, it's vegetarian at its peak. A good way to eat clean aNd have a full meal without feeling guilty. Love the lively vibe of the restaurant. Don't forget to leave your mark as you doodle on the table using the pretty pink Sufood pen. You can even bring it home with you after the meal!

Yelp
First time at Sufood for dinner with friends. They offer a set meal at $30 before tax which includes appetiser, bread sticks, soup, salad, main course, dessert and a drink. Considering a main course is about $14, the set is fairly priced. The servings can be small for some and everything is vegetarian. I particularly enjoyed the appetiser (consisted of jelly with tomato, ladies finger and Chinese yam), the blueberry dip for the breadsticks and the mushroom salad. The service is curious. Some of the servers look like they'd rather be somewhere else than serving you, cordial but not friendly. On the other, Mik was enthusiastic and helpful. I'm uncertain if they overheard my comment but he did improve my opinion about the service at the restaurant. Sadly, he's the only server I feel positively about. We left with our tummies happily filled but unfortunately, I'm not sure it's a priority for me to return. There's a second outlet at Wheelock.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this for some time ....and what a let down! Everything we ordered was bland and meh! The soup lacked taste (salt? spices?), the stuffed mushrooms lacked seasoning (add some herbs and garlic, not difficult!) and the rise burger was ...not s burger. The pastas were the only passable items... both the pesto pasta and the black tagliatelle, but not even closed to a good pasta (no, won't make my list of fave Italian restaurants in Singapore for those two pastas...)

Yelp
This is actually my 2nd time there and I realized that they have introduced new dishes into the menu, which is great. My friends and I are not vegetarian but even the regular meat eaters were satisfied with the meal! The dining concept is similar to Tao's, where you pick a salad, soup, main, dessert, out of their selection and they will serve course by course. Recommendations: Soup: we tried French onion, pumpkin, root soup. All good. Mains: tried Star pizza and lucky clover pizza, and the pesto pasta. All nice but star pizza wins! They are having Xmas promos now at $58nett for 2 diners.
