"This second venture from Bait Maryam chef Salam Dakkak is another homage to her mother. Meaning “Maryam’s Dining Table” in Arabic, the restaurant’s homey feel is reflected across the Palestinian art adorning the walls and menu. A plentiful supply of warm, freshly baked breads, including a stellar 48-hour fermented sourdough, and a selection of refined Levantine dishes are generous in flavour and in portions, so sharing is encouraged. Don’t miss the labneh crème brûlée topped with za'atar ice cream and sumac." - Michelin Inspector

"In a stone-arched, homely space that recalls Bait Maryam, I appreciated Salam Dakkar’s elevated Levantine menu that reads like a refined family table: starters, salads, hot and cold mezze and comforting mains. Standouts include the 48-hour fermented khobez al bait with lebneh crème and confit garlic, punchy muhammara with walnuts and pomegranate, jumbo grilled shrimp on tomato salsa, and the memorable labneh crème brûlée served with homemade za'atar ice cream." - Claudia de Brito, Sophie Prideaux

Such a beautiful spot with absolutely delicious food — Sufret Maryam truly takes Lebanese cuisine to another level. Every dish we tried was outstanding, and while we managed to capture photos of most, our mains of Shish Tawook and the mixed grill disappeared so quickly we didn’t even get the chance! Highly recommend trying the arnabeet (crispy cauliflower), silky hummus, flavorful okra, Shish Tawook, and the perfectly cooked mixed grill. To top it off, they even serve a unique zaatar ice cream for dessert — a must-try. Can’t wait to return!

The restaurant is delicious, beautifully designed, and very cozy. The dishes are well presented, and the shish barak is both delicious and unique. My daughter didn’t want to have lunch, but when she saw the dishes, she got hungry and loved it. Totally worth it!

Amazing restaurant with great cuisine and service. Uthman was very helpful with explaining the different Arab breakfast cuisine options. Abdullaah was great at checking me in and Mohammad the manager explained in detail about Chef Salam and her tribute to her mom with bait Maryam and beyond. Maryam’s capaccino was really memorable with date syrup and pistachio decor. Mutabbak and others were quite delicious too! Looking forward to coming for dinner some day ‏إن شاء الله

I can’t recommend it enough. The authentic flavors and the Michelin star feel are an extremely nice combination to the senses. On top of that, it is well priced.

I ordered a cappuccino and was blown away by the smooth, balanced flavor—bold yet elegant. The quality really stands out, right down to the way the cup was presented. If you’re looking for a taste of authentic Vienna-style coffee in Dubai, this spot is a hidden gem. It offers exceptional quality, warm hospitality, and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates true coffee craftsmanship!”

The place is absolutely beautiful, and the food was unbelievably delicious especially the muhammara, I’ve never had anything like it in my life. We also ordered the Steeha Yafaweyeh and shish barak, both were so tasty and the meat was fresh. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it!
