I came here for the first time to give it a try. I ordered a mango pomelo sago and someone else ordered the mango yakult. The mango pomelo wasn’t very creamy at all. It only had like 5 tiny pieces of mango and like half a spoon of sago and grapefruit (it looks like a lot in the photo because it was mostly just syrup and flavoring). As for the mango yakult, I was told that it was very sweet and more than half of the cup was filled with ice.. the staff didn’t even ask how much sweetness and ice we wanted. Maybe the desserts are better but I’m not sure if I’ll come here again. The seating and decor of this place was cute though.

TWO DEAD ROACHES!!! I was there on Sunday, 2/8 at 6:30 PM and placed an order through the Too Good To Go app. I was given three different drinks. Unfortunately, one of them contained two dead roaches. Do they even perform a quality check before handing items to customers? I didn’t notice the roaches until I got home. At least the cups were clear, which made it easy to see the dead roaches suspended in the drink. Extremely disappointed.

Cute southern Chinese dessert. We got three sisters. It is full of flavors and textures. Very tasty and special dessert. The base is coconut milk. Only negative part is that portion can be bigger.

Amazing! Ordered the Three Sisters and was so impressed by it! The jellies are all made in house and have great flavor and texture. I especially loved the osmanthus tea jelly and popping barley. The watermelon pieces were sweet and really enjoyed the pour over coconut milk. It was all very delicious and refreshing. Everyone working there was also very friendly.

Found this place thru google reviews and decided to try bec we are a big fan of TaiwanHK/styled desserts. The selection all look good but we tried taro coco and it was good. You might opt to choose jelly or sago because they will ask you what base you want. Serving size can be good for two. It’s the kind of place you want to come back to try their other flavors.

Very clean eating area and efficient service, i love that the desserts arent too sweet. They recommended the Three Sisters and it was filling and refreshing at the same time.

This Taiwanese dessert spot really outdoes itself with an impressive variety of treats. We tried the Taro Coco, which perfectly highlighted the earthy flavors of taro with a delightful mix of coconut in various forms—noodles, jelly, and milk—creating a tantalizing dance on the palate. The addition of sago made for a phenomenal combination. We were also thoroughly impressed with the Mango Pomelo Sago drink. Not only was it a feast for the eyes with its bright yellow and orange hues, but the flavors were outstanding. The sweetness of the mango and the tangy punch of the pomelo complemented each other perfectly, offering a taste sensation we hadn’t realized we were missing until now. The ambiance of Sugabox adds to the experience with its cute, authentic decor, clean and inviting tables, and fast, friendly service that makes you feel right at home. A true gem in Chinatown and a must-visit for dessert lovers!

Cute little dessert spot with a good variety of different fruity and savory options. They have bubble teas and some mango and coconut based deserts. We ordered the Three Sisters and the fruity coconut pudding. Both were great but the Three Sisters was excellent. Amazing mix of different textures and sweet flavor.

Refreshing desserts for a hot summer day. If you like che, this will be right up your alley. If you like boba, probably will like this too. Bonus for having seating and outlets. Not recommending setting up camp, but a great place to have a quick break. Folks were nice, too :)

Small location for drinks and snacks. There is currently a BOGO 50% off. I like their passionfruit drink as its not overly sweet. You can also opt to add additional toppings. My friend's yakult drink wasn't overly sweet as well. There is some seating if you decide to dine in. Ordering and service is friendly and quick.

Stopped by at this small dessert shop for a sweet treat after dinner nearby. There's a handful of seats but when we came by it was still pretty empty, just a few other people eating. We got the "three sisters" which I liked! The jellies were very yummy without being too sweet, and I appreciated that they let me switch out the popping boba (hate!!) for lychee jelly haha. Portion size was pretty big (fair for the price) Would definitely come back :)

It's a cute small dessert place in the heart of Chinatown. There's a a couple of places to sit inside but mostly it's a take out dessert place for shaved ices and other sweet treats. We got the special matcha shaved ice. The water melon and popping boba was sweet. The matcha flavor was strong. The ice had a slight creamy texture. The cool treat was perfect for a hot summer day. The staff was friendly.

This place was adorable, brightly light, and well decorated. I got the milk tea with boba and it was super good. Boba was the perfect consistency and the tea had great flavor. The staff was friendly and helped with any questions I had.

I've been wanting to try their pandas on Pandan for a while and glad I got to try it on a hot summer day. There's limited seating so that's something to keep in mind if coming here. This is actually a pretty decent sized portion and there's quite a bit of topping. I was always curious what the pandas tasted like, and it's marshmallows!

Came here for a quick bite of after-dinner sugar. We got the Pandas on Pandan. It was cute as a button but bland as.....a button? Anyway, it looked on point but lacked actual pandan or coconut flavor. Textures were nicely chewy, though, and the panda marshmallows themselves were sweet. If you don't care to 'gram your dessert, maybe try something else.

I would give them a zero if I could!!! I had placed an order over the phone, arrived at the location, paid and was given something completely different. I had ordered taro mochi (hot dessert) & was given taro mochi milk tea.... After I paid and was given the wrong item I wasn't even offered a refund or something to make the situation better. It's also a joke how this milk tea costed $8 and was a medium (which looks like a small) & the funniest part is, IT DIDNT EVEN COME WITH MOCHI!! What a scam/rip off!! The girl in the front who served it to me basically guilt tripped me into taking it saying "we don't have that on the menu sorry, this is what we made" (keep in mind it's on their menu loud and clear under hot desserts). I would've asked for a refund but there was a line and I didn't wanna hold it up. Very poor customer service & I WONT be coming back! Don't have items on the menu you don't serve anymore & don't guilt trip and force customers to take something they didn't order!

Good brown sugar boba tea, but a little watered down and a long wait considering there were not a lot of people in there. Very cute atmosphere and lots of seating.

Roaming around and decided to stop by this Chinese dessert shop on a 90+ degree day in NYC. The shop is new! Opened maybe a few months. Small shop, friendly service and very clean. The desserts are sooo refreshing and just sweet enough. A welcome treat on this super hot day! Only wish was that they had a branch in Philly!

The drinks were highly disappointing. I'd recommend going to chichasanchen or tea pulse instead

Cute, clean interior and playful decor. Saw the fun Pandas on Pandan and wanted to try. Pandas are flavored marshmallows but were not the freshest. Fun textures altogether though. This order also comes with a coconut milk pouch that you get to pour yourself. Not my exact taste of dessert but I admit ordered it for the experience. Food itself isn't outstanding, but the kind staff and setting makes up for it.

New boba + dessert spot in Chinatown on Bayard St! They have a good selection of milk teas, slushes, fruit drinks - the usual. They have pretty stiff competition with Chicha San Chen and a plethora of other boba spots within a few blocks, but the grape slush I got was a solid contender. One area for improvement was that they didn't have any non-dairy milks, so I had to skip on trying the milk teas. Didn't get to try any of the desserts this time but the coconut pudding desserts that two girls at a table next to me were eating looked really aesthetic and tasty, so will definitely try one of those next time.

open till 9pm. They have boba teas :) hot and cold!! my favorite is Ube. spring time, they have cherry blossom cups. Cozy inside they also have food. I like to get drink at night time. Took one star off.... There's no bathroom after I enjoyed with my friends. it's fun to walk around this street.

3.7/5 Three Sisters - a lot of fun textures but flavors were very mild. I especially wished the pandan and the osmanthus tea jelly was more strongly flavored, and I expected it to have the bright flavors of Ais Kacang/ Cendol. Everything taste wise was easily drowned out by the coconut milk.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place. We've gone a few times and every time it's been solid. Our favorite is the Taro. It comes with a bunch of different things that all work very well together. It's a mixture of different textures and flavors, which makes it fun to eat. It includes coconut noodles, which is a bit hard to eat honestly but kind of fun as well. The fruit we think is seasonal because we've gotten watermelon one and a different fruit another. It all just blends nicely and lets us have different desserts in one.

Pleasantly surprised! We had a bunch of these at a birthday party and when the desserts came out, these were definitely making people turn heads. All I saw were my some people slurping what looked like noodles and someone else constantly scooping their bowl. The way the boba looked like actual pearls in some angles was amazing which kind off represented jewelry boxes. I had the three sisters and it was delicious! Every item was consistently yummy. I loved the different textures and experience this dessert gave me- what a treat

Visited this place for the first time and this is a super fun dessert to try. It's great for the summertime and will keep you cool. This chilled dessert came with mangoes, watermelon, jelly, and pudding. This option is dairy-free so i love that they had this option! The coconut milk was also super good and paired well with the dessert. I rarely see desserts like this in Chinatown so happy to hear that there's something like this now.

So this is tant a take out spot.. they do have 4 tiny tables, so you can sit, but not in a cozy way. You order at the counter and wait. I got the bubble tea combo..I ordered the spicy wings. They are the reason this place got 5 stars. I got a taro mochi bubble tea... it had maybe 8 bubbles in it! No exaggeration! But I guess it was good, cuz, they were not good.. they tasted day old and tough.. the tattoo was good though, and the tea itself was flavorful. Now back to the star, the wings! Omg, they were the best wings I've had in forever! They were small, they were all flats (my favorite), they were coated with a very fine spicy powder. They were streaming hot, crispy, but not too crispy, and the most juicy wings I've ever had! Wow! This may be my new addiction! I will be thinking about them a lot, and have to really challenge myself not to buy them everything's I'm in Chinatown. But for now, I'm looking for an excuse to hear there asap...

Mango yakult tea is sooogoooooodddd. Really tiny cute place with a few tables in the heart of China Town. Some limited food items too!

This place is cute, they have table and you can sit and relax. I ordered the taro slush with boba and it is delicious. Small shop, friendly staffs and very clean. Will definitely try their desserts and snacks next time.

Best kept secret for not too sweet refreshing exotic dessert. Coconut pudding is to die for. Three sisters is a must try. High quality dessert. Clean fresh .... Very nice. A little on the pricey side. Great customer service.

Mango pomelo sago was pretty good and had chunks of real mango. My friend got the watermelon slush and said it was refreshing.

I had the passion fruit yakult drink with lychee jelly and it was the best passion fruit drink I've had! It was made with real passion fruit and high quality lychee jelly. Their popcorn chicken was crispy, moist, and flavorful. 10/10 I will come back again to this clean establishment, thank you.
