Overall I had a wonderful experience with Sugar Babies! I ordered cookies and mini cupcakes for a company event, and they were a huge hit as everyone absolutely loved them and kept asking where I had gotten them from. When I picked up the order, unfortunately I realized two sets of cupcakes were missing once I got back to the office. However when I called Sugar Babies they handled the situation so professionally. Without any hesitation, they offered to deliver the missing cupcakes and even included an extra order as an apology for the inconvenience. I truly appreciated their excellent customer service and the genuine care for their customers I am happy to say I would definitely be coming back and this has become my go to bake shop for special events!

I was invited to this bakeshop by yelp. This cute hidden gem is in the heart of Sherman Oaks. The shop is located in a shopping center so it's a bit hard to see. As soon as you walk in you can't help smell the aroma in the air of these magnificent sugar treats. Because of the yelp event, they graciously gifted me a set of 4 adorable and tasty cupcakes. These are the flavors I selected. Chocolate lover box flavors -All my heart ❤️ -Nutty butter -Black and white -Hazelnut mocha I also bought these. Salty sweet box flavors -Salty sweet -Pancakes n' bacon -Strawberries n' cream -Breakfast at Tiffany's On my way home my entire car smelled so amazing. I couldn't wait to get home and try them with my wife. We ate all the cupcakes and omg they taste as good as they look. We will be returning on the weekend to get some very funny and cute cookies. I am glad we found this place now we know where to get our sweet fix. Thank you, sugar babies bakeshop.

They are located in a small shopping mall, which has very limited parking but I scored a good spot. There is one spot designated right in front. Shop is so cute and clean and just very inviting. Loved the wall of flowers. I loved the salted caramel and the bacon one. Mini cupcakes were not too sweet and cake was very moist. Shop was beautifully decorated to celebrate Valentines so they had some great valentines treats too. If you can’t find parking, have patience and find a spot as it is worth the sweet tooth fix.

I asked if they could make a custom design (Gothic inspired) vegan cupcakes for my friend's birthday -- and I am so grateful for their kindness and creative work! Love how they came out!

I like this bakery so much that I go to a few times a month and decided to get my birthday 🎂 from here! They are kind, and truly want have quick but atte tive service! Also, if there is anything you don't see out front just ask and they usually can get it for you. Sometimes they are sold out but most times they will try to accommodate! I've only had good experiences here! Make sure you follow policies for ordering custom cakes. I noticed a common theme in reviews complaining about this they only asked a few days in advance or during Christmas! Give them grace this isn't a grocery store chemical cake.

Today, I was one of those customers that messed up my own order on a holiday. Valentine’s Day! Omg hahaha I messed up ordering thru Grubhub :/ (that’s another story) I just want to say thank you to Sugar Babies for being so understanding. And willing to find a solution with me. Customer Service top tier! Everything was figured out — and the desserts look yummy! I will be ordering again and I promise I will order correctly in the future ;)

They were very prompted when I requested a quote and I was extremely happy but when they sent me the quote for my cake I asked for a simple which of color and they never got back to me. My friend even tried to request a quote for the cake and they didn’t respond to her. so I went with another bakery, Sweet E's Bake Shop which is more expensive but they were prompted and got back to me instantly every time I ask something. more for value than this bakery that didn’t bother to respond. I’d rather pay more money for comfort than a bakery that won’t respond.

5 stars. Mae was very responsive. Her communication was clear and I can tell she was really trying to make sure my cake vision was accurate. I did have to follow up twice about confirming my order but otherwise the process was smooth. Customer service over the phone was friendly as well. Flavor 5/5 stars. Cake 1, I ordered a chocolate cake with the oreo filling and it was a hit. The family wiped it out. Similarly, Cake 2 was a hit with red velvet and cream cheese filling. Definitely follow the directions of keeping the cakes refrigerated because they melt outdoors.

Came here for mini cupcakes for my daughter. Searched a few places that were phantom stores but this was an actual location. GPS did take me to the wrong place, but I did find it! It's in a little complex - small but super cute store. Got half a dozen mini cupcakes that were super cute and delicious! The lady helping me was super nice and helpful. Overall a great place!

I ordered a couple dozen mini cupcakes for a party and got lots of compliments from my guests. The cake portion was delicious but the frosting stole the show. It was really out of this world good. This will definitely be my new go-to cupcake spot in the valley!

Ordered cake pops online. Straightforward process and I appreciated being able to use zelle/venmo as an alternative to providing my credit card. I highly recommend considering Mae's custom cakes. They're amazing. Keep in mind a min. 2 weeks needs to be provided for custom orders. My cakepops were the talk of the party Craftsmanship was amazing. The flavors for cake pops were limited. I went with chocolate and confetti. You have the option to choose delivery for an extra cost or pickup. I went with the latter so that i could see the store. The shop is the definition of a hidden gem, located in the corner of a small parking lot with limited parking spaces. The shop itself was cutely organized with the smell of sugar enveloping you as you walk in. I went ahead and ordered some cupcakes that were on display too. When it comes to flavor, I felt the cake pops tasted like store brand desserts, but the cupcakes were delicious bites! I particularly liked the pancakes and bacon and the salted caramel. Yummm. So I would say the cakepops were about the design and the cupcakes are what you want to order based on taste. Definitely looking forward to my next sweet escapade there!

I ordered cupcakes and personalized cookies for my friend's engagement party. The team was very responsive and helpful while I was making my selections. The pastries came out absolutely perfect. They looked so amazing and tasted delicious. There was nothing left at the end of the night and my friend was over the moon. I highly recommend this shop.

Honestly, I threw a small fit over not being able to pay extra to have berries added to the vegan cake I got for my best girl friend. She's like a sister who has the most beautiful spirit & I just really wanted to make her feel special on her birthday. Anyways, I got the basic vegan vanilla and EVERYONE loved the cake. This place won't disappoint.

I looked around the whole valley for gluten free cupcakes and Sugar Babies Bake Shop honestly looked the best. I messaged Mae and ordered Gluten Free cupcakes. She had great options I got Vanilla, chocolate and red velvet. Everyone loved the cupcakes. The decor was beautiful and classic. Mae was wonderful and helped me fill my order. It was for a gender reveal, my friend is allergic to gluten (severely) and due to her pregnancy I was really concerned about the gluten sensitivity. Having a bake shop offer gluten free options is almost rare and I am so thankful that everyone in this shop was able to help me. I will surely be reordering here! Thank you everyone in the shop! Delicious mini cupcakes. Tried almost every flavor and they were are so tasty. Great for parties or an afternoon treat. Would definitely recommend this local bakery!

I had a party to go to and it was a stressful week, and I did NOT have time to bake for the birthday party we were attending. On a whim, I threw open Uber Eats and searched "cupcakes". After sorting through some of the "ok" choices "Sugar Babies" stood out. When I clicked on it and saw all the yummy-looking mini cupcakes I was sold. I ordered 2 dozen...and 5 minutes later I ordered a 3rd to add on top of my order cause I was afraid there wouldn't be enough...boy was I right! To say everyone at the party enjoyed the cupcakes is an understatement! They devoured them. No kidding, I cannot count how many "oh my god, these are so good" or "you have to try a bite of this one" from everyone. There was a lot of grabbing, sharing, excitement, etc. There were only 2 desserts at the party, the cupcakes and another cake someone else brought...the cupcakes were the first to go! ...Almost 5 days later and people are still texting me asking me where did I get the amazing cupcakes. Thank you, Sugar Babies, for providing a truly memorable experience and believe me when I say you have a customer for life!

Could not recommend Sugar Babies more! I reached out to Mae via email to inquire about a dessert spread for a baby shower. I sent along some inspiration photos for the theme and requested a quote and she got back to me with the best prices in the LA area. Not only did the desserts turn out so cute, they were delicious too! Such a big hit with the guests. Mae was great with communicating via email exchange and pick up on the day of was seamless. We will definitely be reaching out to Mae and her team for more events and dessert needs.

The first thing that smacks you in the face when you open the door is a beautiful waft of baked goodies!! The young ladies are very nice. Mae was very nice with helping me with my order.The display case did not have a whole lot, as you can see, but don't let that fool you. The mini cupcakes are delicious.The sugar cookies are in a league of their own. You will never have sugar cookies like these, I guarantee. The sugar cookies come with almond glaze and vanilla glaze. Im salivating just thinking about them!!

Cannot say enough kind words about Mae and her work. Wanted to surprise my boyfriend with a small cake this week, and not only was Mae able to do so in a short amount of time, but she truly went above and beyond. The cake looks gorgeous (and the cream cheese frosting is delicious!). Thank you so much Mae and the team -- I will absolutely order again soon!!

I love this bakery !!! I am so much! This is my first time ordering from here and let me tell you I am beyond impressed and so happy with the cakes and other goodies I got for my son and daughter's birthday !!! Such a cute shop with nice staff. All of their stuff if amazing, but the wedding cake flavored cupcake is my favorite cupcake in the entire world!!

First, let me start by saying that my mouth hit the floor in amazement when the box of the cake was brought out. It was huge! I had ordered a custom heart-shaped cake for 10 people for my daughter's birthday. I imagined a small, unassuming box to house a cute, heart-shaped cake. When I opened the box to see what was inside - to call it a cake or cute would be an understatement. It was a masterpiece!! The artistry far surpassed anything that I could have imagined. It was absolutely beautiful! Would it taste as fabulous as it looked? The taste was so good, it was undeniably the best tasting cake that everyone had ever had. Mae made the process so easy, and her price could not be beat! Make sure to call ahead to give her enough time to create your cake. Moving forward, we will only get our cakes from Sugar Babies. Thank you Mae!!!

I'm so grateful I discovered this name shop because it's truly a gem! I made an online order several weeks in advance and the entire process was easy. The shop was quick to communicate and very thorough with the form to get a good idea of customizations. I ordered custom cookies for a Beyonce themed bachelorette and they were STUNNING! I sent inspo pics and they turned out better than I ever imagined. They were also so delicious! We all truly enjoyed them and there were no leftovers. There was an error in the packaging but I contacted the bake shop and they quickly corrected it by refunding me for an extra service I paid for. I was really grateful for the excellent customer service. Highly recommend this bake shop!!

Sugar Babies Bake Shop does an excellent job on decorated cookies. I have ordered from them twice for two different events I've hosted. Ordering via email is available. You do not need to go in person. Prepayment is taken to secure the order. I ordered my cookies individually wrapped and there is an up charge for that service but worth it if you're giving cookies as party favors. Picking up my order was seamless. There is one dedicated parking spot in front of their business. I had set up the time I would be in to grab my order. I walked in and gave my name. My cookies were nicely packed in a box. The cookies were beautifully decorated and the taste was there too. They weren't simply a nice looking cookie. The shelf life on them is quite long. And even longer in the freezer. I will continue to use Sugar Babies Bake Shop for my personalized cookie orders.

I ordered custom cupcakes for a small gender reveal. Mae delivered!! Not only were cupcakes beyond cute and adorable. But they were also delicious. The customer service and quick response from Mae made this whole experience stress free. I felt that I was in good hands and she would deliver. I cannot recommend this place enough!!! If you're unsure go try the mini cupcakes. They were also amazing and the flavors were delicious. I am beyond happy we trusted sugar babies.

My cookie order EXCEEDED my expectations! When I picked them up I almost cried and I'm not an emotional person, but they were truly that good. I almost felt guilty eating them because they were like beautiful pieces art perfectly created for one of the most special days in my life. I am extremely picky, particular, and hard to please, and the way they brought my cookies to life...just WOW. My guests were so impressed and the icing on the cake (lol) was that they were incredibly delicious. They were all gone by the end of my party (glad I put a few away for myself lol). Cannot recommend sugar babies enough and I'm now officially a life long customer!!

First off Mae was wonderful accommodating all our requests. She was very patient and helpful! We ordered cookies, cake pops and cupcakes for a baby shower. All were absolutely delicious and darling! A VERY BIG HIT at the shower. We also ordered 2 of Sugar Babies mini cakes with 3 little bears poking their faces out from under a round box lid...too cute! I was on the search for cupcakes for tea party baby shower then I found Sugar Babies. You can order online but I decided to into the shop. Immediately greeted upon entering and employee listen to me on what I was looking for. I placed my order and paid. As it was getting closer to the day of the event several more guest and called Sugar Babies to get additional rattler cookies no problem Staff is extremely friendly and everyone loved cookies and cupcakes. They were a hit. My neighbor was looking for a bakery for her cousin and I referred Sugar Babies. They placed an order. Highly recommend them.

I ordered four different custom designs for my daughter's baby shower this weekend and I could not have been more pleased with the final results. Ordering online was extremely easy. I filled out the order form and sent in pictures of ideas I needed. They responded quickly and priced out each example. I then chose four different designs, thinking they would use the design as examples for what they might have done in the past or styles they currently use. I was pleasantly surprised that they designed the cookies exactly how I wanted them, in fact they were even better than I expected. Besides looking beautiful - they tasted delicious. The sugar cookie was thick enough to give the cookie some weight and the icing was the perfect blend of vanilla. All in all I would certainly use Sugar Babies again in the future, the design and taste of each cookie far exceeded my expectation. Thank you Sugar Babies!

Had to return after a Yelp Elite event here got me primed. This review should be one word: yum. Donuts? Is anyone still eating those? The Smart Set is all about mini-cupcakes from Sugar Babies in a perfect I-can't-show-up-empty-handed box (four minis for $8). The flavors are a fun mix, perfect ratio of fluffy cake to icing, and the box holds each cupcake in place until you arrive at your destination (which might be your own car in the parking lot). I discovered Sugar Babies Bake Shop due to a few Yelp events. And I am glad I checked it out because we love bakeries and it's nice to find out about a good one in the area for future events, holidays or just a regular weekend treat. Cute bakery located in the corner of Riverside dr. w. Fulton in Sherman Oaks area. It has a private lot to park. The shop is nicely decorated. We like their cupcakes and they do sell other baked goods, cookies, brownies, some they can be custom made for various occasions. They do a very nice job with festive decorations. You can get a box of their mini cupcakes, 4 for $8. The cupcakes we got were delicious, the salted caramel was soft with a twist, the strawberry and cream had a nice smooth cream full of berry flavor and our favorites were the red velvet ones, a classid done well, moist, adorably decorated. Customer service is nice, but I wish the ladies working here would be chattier about the nice products they sell. I would like to try some more cupcakes next time! They have a good selection, many flavors so it'll be hard to decide!

I don't know about you, but half of my instagram feed is baked goods. I was so intrigued by Sugar Babies custom cookies and all of the amazing photos I saw on their website. I ordered some custom cookies for our Yelpie winners and when I went to pick them up, I couldn't help but take home two boxes of mini cupcakes (one for that day, and the other to share with friends the next night- I swear I shared!!). I love the peanut butter chocolate, cookies and cream and lemon flavored cupcakes. The presentation is so adorable too! The sugar cookies here are incredible. They are SOFT and not dry or crumbly at all. I loved the hint of almond flavor. The custom design turned out just as I had hoped, the colors were bright and the image was clear as day. Mae, the owner, was so accommodating when it came to packaging my order and had excellent communication in regards to order pickup. Fantastic customer service and easy ordering process online! The one thing about Sugar Babies is that it is the DEFINITION of a hidden gem. I drive up and down Fulton constantly, and never saw Sugar Babies tucked away in that tiny plaza across from the Exer Urgent Care. We love a mom and pop bake shop! I will definitely be back for future custom cookie or cake needs!

I wish I could give them more stars. I emailed the bakery a little under 2 weeks before the day of my event. From the start Mae made it extremely easy to place an order. I had seen she previously did a Rolex themed cake which looked absolutely amazing so I figured a cookie version would be great for my guests. I sent her an image of the watch I wanted and she promptly responded with a quote. I KNEW they would come out incredible but seeing them in person was next level. Everyone loved them! The best part is that they taste as good as they look which is hard to find now a days. I'm so thankful I found this bakery as they will now be my go-to for any celebration! Thank you so much. I also got a mini birthday cake cupcake for the road and it was deliciously perfect.

Who doesn't like cupcakes? Seriously. You in the back, you can leave. Delicious bite size (actually 2 bites) of Heaven going into your food hole.Yes,please! They have over a dozen flavors of these luscious tasty treats. Now, if you want full size ones, it would be a special order. I'm guessing a dozen minimum. They have 4 different box sizes for gifting. The smallest being 4 for 8 dollars. A little pricey but capable of making quite the impression. They also take orders for other things like cakes for special events. The baker told me the day I was there she had make 600 that day. Some people out there are coming after these hard. Why not! They are located in the back of a tiny strip mall and closed on Mondays. This spot was super cute! Last minute needed some sweets and they were open and thankfully had some left in the display. Birthday confetti cupcake was delicious, tried the mini pancake and bacon cupcake- really good!, and then the maple something Blondie which was only okay to me. I'd say 8/10 and would def be back to try more

Small business win! The owner is very responsive to email and made sure my order was correct and even worked with my budget for my sister in laws baby shower. The cookies were delicious and i'm sure everything else was because i didn't get to try any other desserts we ordered at the party because they got eaten so quickly! I also had a misscommunication about pickup and the owner was more than understanding and personally dropped the order off at my house the next day with some extra cupcakes. SO SWEET! thank you again

I got their mini cupcakes for Valentine's Day and they were so cute and absolutely delicious! I had 4 chocolate cupcakes that were valentine decorated and unique. I loved how they were mini, made me feel less bad about eating them all The shop is small and at the back of a shopping center so it's a little hard to find, but inside is super cute. Also, the parking is a little bit difficult but free and available right in front of the store.

I needed an edible image printed and Mae was so kind and quick to do so! I also got a few cupcakes on my way out and they were so delicious. The coolest thing was that Mae lets the local school kids design their own cupcakes each month and the winner gets a cupcake party for their class. I tried the kindergartener's "Winter Cup" cupcake and it was sooo good! Highly recommend this shop.

I have left other reviews but leaving another one. Mae always executes the inspo I give her. Showed her the colors and style I wanted. When I picked up this cake I was blown away. Tastey too!

Let me just say that Sugar Babies Bake Shop is amazing!! I was looking for a vegan cake for my boyfriend's birthday. I also wanted the cake to be Halloween/Horror themed as he loves Halloween and we were having a bday and Halloween party combo for him. SB Bakeshop came through! Not only did they execute my vision beyond my expectation, but their vegan red velvet cake was to die for! They also found a way to make the red dripping around the cake vegan when it's normally chocolate! The little horror movie characters came out so cute! Will order all our celebration cakes from them moving forward! Thank you SB Bake Shop!

Picked up two dozen minis for $42 today to bring to a friends house and they were packaged so cute. Their cupcakes are colorful and fun flavors so this is great to bring to a party. We didn't love the salted caramel or hazelnut mocha. Standouts were the chocolate peanut butter and the strawberry cream cheese. Service was friendly but also pretty slow considering the small order. I was waiting quite a while so order ahead if you can. I would definitely consider bringing these to another party!

Such a hidden gem in the valley! I had previously come here for a Yelp Elite event a while ago and LOVED their cupcakes. Finally when it was time to plan my gender reveal I thought they would be the perfect spot to order cupcakes from! Originally I was just going to order the mini cupcakes but I decided to expand our dessert setup and added cookies and cake pops! Mae was so sweet and helpful in the ordering process. Great service - I emailed the shop for a niece's birthday party to get some cookies and a cake. I provided the number of people, some sample designs and a budget and they were able to provide some awesome suggestions within budget. The cookies came out super cute and the cake was pretty and loved the added details! The cake was for about 20 people but definitely fed a ton more of people.

Had a great Yelp Elite experience at Sugar Babies! The inside of this small bakery is absolutely beautiful. From the window decor to the wall of flowers, there is something to see in every corner. The staff was very friendly and took time to explain the different cupcakes we were getting and answered all our probing questions! The cupcakes... OMGOODNESS! All of our cupcakes had the same moist and delicious base. Our favorite was the pancake and bacon which magically transported us to the breakfast counter at a small diner. YUM!!! We added on a delicious chocolate brownie. This amazing treat was a chocolate lover's dream! We would absolutely visit Sugar Babies again! Happy eating Yelpers!

I ordered a custom Jordan shoe cake from Mae and she did a phenomenal job. The cake looked exactly like the shoe I sent her. She was very responsive and polite and made the whole ordering process very easy. People at our party kept asking if it was a real shoe or cake. She made the entire shoe and bottom all cake. On top of it looking really good it tasted amazing too.

Went in today for the first time and bought 4 mini cupcakes and one super cute Vday cookie. So far I only tried a chocolate cupcake and it was so good!! Not too sweet, perfectly moist! The shop is cute and a little hidden in a small strip mall so not necessarily easily noticeable ! Staff was super friendly.

We did an eras Taylor swift theme for my sisters 30th and it turned out so so cute! The cookies were great and tasted amazing as well. They were a total hit and will be ordering again!

Ordered a cake here for my baby shower to serve 30 people, and there was more than enough for our guests. The cake was very beautiful, with pink ombré rosettes. I asked for vanilla with buttercream frosting- the cake was light and fluffy, the frosting creamy and not overpoweringly sweet. It was a hit at the party! I would definitely get a celebration cake here again.

OHHHG YUMMMM!!!! Sugar Babies is a sweet bake shop!!! Went in there today to satisfy a chocolate craving and walked out with amazing treats! They are tucked in the corner of a little strip mall near the corner of Fulton and Riverside and have a nice parking lot! I got the chocolate chocolate and the red velvet mini cupcakes. SUPER moist and delicious! Saw their full menu of cupcake flavors and cannot wait to go back! Great for all kinds of baked treats!!!
