This Ice Cream Sundae Will Set You Back $99 | Eater Philly

"Located in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, the Sugar Factory (which opened last summer when the Hard Rock did, replacing the Trump Taj Mahal) is a sit-down restaurant with a savory menu of burgers, pizza and more, but it's best known for oversized ice cream concoctions and 64-ounce alcoholic drinks poured into goblets and garnished with candy. Available now through Thursday, October 17, it's selling a $99 publicity stunt called the “Candy Kong Sundae,” a candy-covered version of its over-the-top “King Kong Sundae” that no one should under any circumstances attempt to eat by themselves: the sundae includes 24 scoops of ice cream, multi-colored chocolate ganache, whipped cream, Nerds, Spree, peach gummies, mini-Jawbreakers, watermelon drops, gummy bears, M&M's and Pop Rocks, and is topped with a rainbow lollipop, a gumball machine, a candy necklace, cotton candy sticks and a rubber ducky." - Rachel Vigoda

Sugar Factory and 20 More Eateries Coming to Atlantic City’s Newest Casino | Eater Philly

"New to Atlantic City, this Sugar Factory outpost is presented as a sweet shop and restaurant—Hard Rock says it was once named the “most Instagrammed restaurant in the United States”—and I’d expect a floor-to-ceiling candy wall, over-the-top desserts like the King Kong sundae (feeds 12 with 24 scoops of ice cream), plus pastries and savory items such as burgers, pizza, and salads." - Rachel Vigoda

I really enjoyed this place! All the designs, the chill vibe, etc. Perfect place for families that just want to spend time together without going to a fancy place. I recommend going if you have a child that is younger, like 13 and under. Our waiter, Denise Bayan, was VERY nice, and I saw every other waiter was kind as well. I loved this place overall and highly recommend it for families!

Crystal, the manager was AMAZING! She gave her expertise and recommendations on The Sugar Factory's menu selection. She worked the section she was serving with grace and a beautiful smile. Their chicken Parmesan entrée was huge, enough for four people. So, if you're worried about portion sizes The Sugar Factory doe not miss! We have truly enjoyed ourselves. The ambiance, food and service was exceptional and a must try!

Came here for brunch on a Saturday in November. We were seated at the booth immediately. Our server, Erica, came over right away to greet us. We ordered some eggs and waffles and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Excellent service by Erica, she was attentive throughout and checked on us constantly. Eggs was a 8 out of 10. Waffles, 9 out of 10, very fluffy. The booths are cute. Our kid enjoyed it and the Stormtropper by counter. Would recommend this overall.

Erica has the best hospitality I’ve experienced in a long time, especially in this fast busy world. Very warm and welcoming to me and my family. The food was everything that we asked for and then some. It definitely hit the spot :) if you want to have a perfect experience, ask for Erica ; D She feels like family. Thank you sugar factory <3

Had a great breakfast at Sugar Factory at Hard Rock - Atlantic City this morning. The pancake was fluffy and delicious, the Eggs Benedict and the coffee was fresh. Our waitress Erica was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great start to the day!

We came here for brunch. The food was delicious. Great service and atmosphere. Our server Erica was very attentive and patient with us. We will definitely come back again.

Idea, 5 stars. Execution, 1 star. First of all, I know I sound like a boomer here, but jfc the music is absolutely BLARING at an uncomfortable volume. I understand that they're trying to create a sound barrier between the restaurant and casino but dang. We had to shout across the table to talk! There's no clear place for the hostess stand - 3 entrances, 3 places that appear to be stands and not a soul at any of them. We asked servers who were working nearby where they'd like us to wait and finally ended up at the middle stand. It seemed like the staff was just *done* for the night - I get it, trying to not fault them for the end of a long day, but the overall experience feels like it really depends on a little panache, you know? The menu is wildly overpriced, but clever and extravagant options, great seasonal themed stuff, but for the price, I'd hope the service would be a little more attentive/enthusiastic. Again, I'm empathetic to them being at the end of a long day but still. We ordered the chicken parm for 2 (yes we played it safe) and while it was good, the sauce was quite acidic. They brought out the sauce and melted mozzarella in a separate pan and poured it on at the table, which was a nice touch. We did not have any special serving utensils but managed to get it done without making a mess with our fork and knives. The fry basket is massive (a plus, for the price) but the fries were barely warm. The giant pretzel was good, but nothing extraordinary outside of the size. The milkshake was really good though, even though we didn't get one of the super crazy ones! We spent a good chunk of change for just 2 people despite not getting drinks. On a side note, the celebrity fascination all over the restaurant is weird. The Kardashians staring down at me while I'm trying to eat was unnerving. If you want a crazy extravagant milkshake or cocktail/mocktail (loved seeing them a few dollars cheaper without alcohol) and rainbow sliders, this is a fun experience. It's not somewhere I'd rush back to, but I would definitely try something a little more "exciting" next time, just for giggles.

I stopped in for dinner at this restaurant! When we arrived we found parking on the street nearby. We walked into a Halloween themed place and we were greeted and sat. We were served by Chris and he was great! And the Manager Dianie was great too! We ordered: Toxic Zombie (vodka) Swamp Monster Loaded Fries Bat Wings My Bloody Sliders Skull Island Sundae I loved the sliders and and sundae was great but a lot lol. All in all a god experience!

Yelp
The vibrant and colorful décor immediately sets the stage for a whimsical dining experience. The energy is high, the music is upbeat, and you can't help but feel like you've stepped into a sweet wonderland. The menu is just as exciting as the atmosphere, featuring over-the-top milkshakes, decadent desserts, and those famous smoking candy goblet cocktails that are as Instagram-worthy as they are delicious. But it's not just about the sweets -- they also offer hearty entrees, sliders, pastas, and other comfort foods, making it a great spot whether you're in the mood for a full meal or just a treat. Service was friendly, fun, and attentive, adding to the playful vibe. The team seemed just as excited about the food and drinks as we were, and they made sure everything came out picture-perfect. The ambiance is perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or even just a casual night out with friends and family.

Yelp
Highly overrated. Booked reservation for 7pm. Didn't get seated until 730. Didn't get service until 8pm. Didn't receive food until 830. What was the point of reservations? Wild that we waited 1.5 hours from reservation time to receiving food. Didn't even have impossible patty. Ordered tomato soup and Greek salad with chicken tenders. Rainbow sliders looked colourful, but nothing special.

Yelp
This review covers our initial visit on day one of our vacation as well as dinner on our last evening. Inside, the atmosphere is right off the casino floor. It is fun and the music is low enough for people to have a conversation. Plus, their seats are phenomenal. Outside, the music is blasting and if you want to speak to the people you are with, request going inside. On our first night, Chris took care of us. He brought my girlfriend their amazing Watermelon Burst Martini. When I asked if their Traditional Margarita was not sweet, he assured me it was definitely true to the original. Chris nailed it because that was the best margarita I ever had in all of my sixty years. The salmon and burger were great. On our second trip, we went indoors and Joey took care of us. My girlfriend got her Watermelon Burst again and I asked for a gin martini. It was strange that Joey did not ask what gin I wanted but I got the sense that he knew exactly what he was doing. Soon, I had an exceptional Bombay Sapphire martini with a twist. We wanted to eat light, so we ordered their artichoke dip and their rainbow sliders for some last night in AC fun. I have never seen such a fantastic amount of tasty dip with assorted tortilla chips. It was a meal of its own. The sliders were tasty but I think I have had enough food dye for a lifetime. From our five-day stay in AC, Sugar Factory clearly had the best bartending. Many thanks to Joey and Chris for taking care of us so well!

Yelp
The food and drink was amazing, the server Jessica was friendly and with a big smile. The atmosphere at the bar was great. I recommend it.

Yelp
First time having lunch here. Met up with friends for lunch. I had the their turkey club with every thing it comes with. The portion was huge and everything on it was delicious. Fresh sliced turkey breast, avocado, bacon, tomato, lettuce, two kinds of cheese, cheddar and provolone on toasted white bread and topped with a pickle slice. I had to get some mayo on the side as Turkey can be on the dry side , hardly used much of it. Although processed turkey it was a quality brand. The sandwich comes with a fiddle of shoestring potatoes or onion rings. I chose the fries, they were well cooked and had a great taste to them. One of my dining companions went for the colorful beef sliders. It comes with a cute little rubber ducky. He enjoyed them. Service was good as well with refills offered often.

Yelp
Arrived here at 945 for the drinks and it was closed at 945 and it was suppose to close at 11pm. The employees just said they were closed with no apology or anything. I checked online to see if I can complete an online order and I could so they might have just closed the restaurant because it was slow.

Yelp
Came to The Sugar Factory for a kid's birthday and i think this place is every child's dream. Sugar, candy, milkshakes as far as the eye can see. The menu is extensive from colorful burgers to Thai inspired noodles. There's something for everyone here. Opted for the Fish & Chips. It was a huge fillet on a bed of tasty fries. Excellent. Staff was awesome. The restaurant was filled with people celebrating birthdays, engagements, bridal parties, and I'm sure many other things. Wait staff was attentive, kind, fun, and all around pleasant. Decor is fun. Photos of celebrities on the wall. Music was bumpin. Almost felt like this was a club for kids. I'll have to come back and attempt to try a milkshake.

Yelp
Had a great breakfast at Sugar Factory this morning. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, the eggs, sausage, and potatoes were on point. It's inside the Hard Rock Casino & Hotel so you know we were up 'till late. When our server brought our coffee it was fresh and smelled heavenly. Our server, Erica, was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great start to the day!

Yelp
A very fun, colorful, and bright restaurant on the Atlantic city boardwalk. Unfortunately, the food was very mediocre, which is not shocking for this sort of "tourist trap" place. We each ordered a variety of things, and the chicken sandwich was the best by far. Definitely a bit pricey, but it is a fun experience. You almost have to get one of the crazy milkshakes if you come here, so I would next time maybe only do apps and dessert! Our service was fine, not memorable but not bad. I probably would recommend to take your kids here for some crazy milkshake picture and memories but that is about it.

Yelp
I've never eat here but I've gotten shakes to go from here. They are located in the lobby of the hard rock hotel. Pretty big menu and the desserts and shakes here are insane. Plenty of seating and there's a bar as well. There's outdoor seating as well when the weather allows it. I'll have to come back to eat but the shake itself was filling enough!
google avatar

Alyssa M.

Yelp
The food was really good and the drinks were just as great! I loved that you can take the drinks to go since they're huge--I couldn't even finish mine in one sitting. Everything was delicious and I'd definitely recommend checking it out!
google avatar

Stacy D.

Yelp
The service was definitely on the slower side--we waited quite a while after being seated before anyone came over. That being said, once the food and drinks finally arrived, they were excellent. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared, which made up for the wait. If the service were a bit quicker, this spot would be an easy five stars.

Yelp
I love Sugar Factory! While some of the items can be a bit pricey for what you get, the experience more than makes up for it. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the vibe. The restaurant itself is beautiful bright, colorful, and full of energy. The food was very good, and we didn't have to wait long at all. A fun bonus: they give you a free cupcake on your birthday! The last Sugar Factory I visited was in Dover when they first opened, and now I'm excited to travel and try another location. Thank you for such a sweet experience!
google avatar

Yelp
Went here for two of my best friends birthday's. We had a great time. A couple things to note. They will not seat you until your entire party is there. Even if you are just missing one person. I will say even though a couple of our party was running a few minutes late they did seat us right when they got there. Wait time was okay. A little on the slower side but it's a specialty restaurant so not too surprising. The milk shakes look amazing! A few people in my party got them and they are so well put together and apparently taste really good! I got the chicken parm for 2 and honestly it's enough for 4 people. There's no was me and my fiance were gonna be able to finish it. The look and ambiance of the restaurant is cool. Pictures of all the famous people that have been there and nicely decorated. It's located in the hardrock casino. Definitely recommend make sure to make a reservation!

Yelp
This kinda reminds me of an upscale Cheesecake Factory. Menu has so much on it. The aesthetics are beautiful though. Definitely a birthday dinner spot. Love the playlist they had playing on a Friday evening. R&B vibes which I'm a fan of! However it's a restaurant not a club lol. I will say the service was great. I didn't catch her name, but she was on point with everything. Menu is pretty pricey for a franchise. Didn't have a kids menu. Food was ok. Nothing really stood out entree wise. Birria tacos didn't come with a consume which was sucky. Only thing that was good was the strawberry cheesecake milkshake. It's perfect for two! Kids loved it. I'd save this spot as a dessert/drink spot. I don't think I'd come back to it as there are so many better mom and pop restaurants.

Yelp
I went for lunch and it was just ok. While my server was friendly and helpful he was also non existent. A quick lunch it was not! I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. It's a very nice looking sandwich. I should've taken pictures after I started eating. It became very messy. I ended up having to eat with a fork and knife. The bread was soft and kind of held up to the sandwich. The mayo was tasty but overpowering with the avocado. The fries are perfection!! Thin and crispy. Fresh herbs. The chicken was cooked perfectly and juicy!!!

Yelp
Not going to lie, I was a little intimidated to go here, because of all the people that have been here. It's a pretty fun and cool spot to hang out, grab a drink, eat some ginormous IG ready desserts I had placed an order for take-out at the bar so we can just chill in the room. A lot of people look like they were slowly showing up for happy hour. The bartender that helped me was suoer nice and patient to answer all the questions I asked. I had ordered: 1. Sampler platter - I order this to get a little bit of everything. Chicken tenders didn't look like it was cooked all the way. It was pale looking as well. Buffalo wings were good and spicy. Onion rings were crispy and fresh. Macaroni cheese pops was tasty. It had macaroni and cheese in it, like you see the noodles, it's not chopped up. 2. Popcorn shrimp (bartender recommended) - Shrimp was burnt, nothing special its just popcorn shrimp. 3. Mozzarella blocks thai sweet chili (bartender recommended) - This was smackin'. Way better than any mozzarella sticks you've ever had. Drenched in the sauce it was yummy goodness. I was hesitant too, but definitely worth it. 4. Wagyu beef smashed burger - Juicy and flavorful burger. This burger will leave you speechless because you can't just take one bite, you'll just keep going. Overall, a good experience. I had fun going to the candy store and seeing so many candies I grew up eating. Warheads and airheads always a favorite and pop rocks? I was really looking for chocolate covered gummies but the toffee crunch bites were a good runner up.

Yelp
Super fun ambiance! My friend and I ate here for brunch on a girl's trip and really enjoyed it! 10 out of 10 would recommend the crispy rice and spicy tuna appetizer! Waitress was very friendly!
google avatar

Yelp
I celebrated my birthday at the Sugar Factory in AC with my boyfriend, and we had such an amazing time! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We started with the rainbow sliders as our appetizer, so fun and tasty! For our entrées, I had the 8oz filet, and it was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend originally planned on getting the Wagyu burger, but unfortunately, it's no longer on the physical menu even though it's still listed online. He went with the waffle burger instead and really enjoyed it. We also shared the watermelon piña colada goblet and one of their signature insane milkshakes--both were incredibly flavorful and made the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was being seated right next to the casino, where the smell of cigarette smoke was pretty strong. But since it wasn't too busy, I understand why we were seated there. Despite that, we had a fantastic night and will most likely be coming back!
google avatar

Kerriann G.

Yelp
I definitely come here for the vibe and the experience. You can come for the food too, I'd say come moreso for the fun drinks and the experience
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
Went here for brunch and the food was good, really good. The service was slow. Our waitress was great but she was alone in our section, so it really wasn't her fault. Took a long time to have our orders taken and to get food and drinks. When we were seated, they left all the dirty dishes from the people before us and placed them on the table next to ours. More staff is needed, for sure.

Tara H.

Yelp
Food was good, but service was horrible. We weren't greeted for 15 minutes, then we waited another 15 for drinks and they forgot mine. When food came out they forgot my friend's entree. We didn't see our server the whole meal and I had to flag down other people for the missing food and drinks which didn't come until we were almost finished. We were waiting at least 20 minutes after finishing for boxes and the bill because our server kept walking by us after we complained about the missing food. The food was actually quite good but very overpriced with gigantic portions no one could possibly finish
google avatar

Greg L.

Yelp
Had dinner here while staying at the Hard Rock. We had reservations and were seated right away. Our waitress came over pretty quickly with waters and took our drink order. We both went with a shake (Butterfinger and S'mores Brownie). The shakes were huge and amazing! We both ordered burgers which were good and we really enjoyed the fries! We had very good service throughout our meal, but admittedly, it wasn't very busy while we were there. We were seated inside with a nice view of the boardwalk and ocean, so that was nice. Would definitely come here again the next time we find ourselves at the Hard Rock.

Yelp
Sugar factory was a decent place for lunch on Thanksgiving day. The Vietnamese restaurant I wanted to try didn't answer the phone and I was sad about not getting any viet coffee after a late night concert in ac the night prior. We settled on Sugar factory after hearing all the hype about it from friends. Interestingly they weren't open yet when we arrived at 1045. Apparently they only served brunch on Sundays. The waiter was nice and let us sit down and look at the menu and even order before they officially opened at 11:00. The service at Sugar was good and so was the double espresso I desperately needed. They have a lot of fancy milkshakes here including a $150 24k gold shake. We opted to share a standard strawberry shake. It was very good but not worth $13. The paper straw was a nice touch though. My wife's OJ was just standard supermarket juice if even, not fresh squeezed. The steak fajita had tasty flavor and good tortilla bread but the amount of beef was a little skimpy with some burned pieces. The waffle brunch burger my son had was a lot more satisfying portion wise. It featured sausage, bacon and a fried egg. The waffle shell could have been toasted for a better flavor, however. My wife had a chicken breast sandwich with avocado and veggies. It looked good. Overall the meal was good but not worth $110 after tax and tip. Definitely a good spot if you want a burger and shake, however. I gave them 4 stars behind the weight of the great service and tasty milkshake we had.
google avatar

Larry B.

Yelp
Have wanted to eat for a long time. Decided to tray myself. The Rainbow sliders were really good although cooked more well than I usually like. The brownie explosion milkshake was amazing. Fantastic although the donut was stale. Still a four star experience.
google avatar

Keith H.

Yelp
Had the sampler platter. Chicken tenders, bone in wings, and onion rings. Got Buffalo sauce tossed on my wings. Very tasty. Could have been a little crispier. Seems they sat a bit since the crispy coating was soggy. Chicken tenders were a cheap cut, lots of gristle and all within each bite. Onion rings were spot on l, very crispy and tasty batter. Service is was why I gave a high score. Bar tender killed it.
google avatar

Aaron C.

Yelp
Not a great experience. It took us about 45 minutes from ordering to getting our food. The food itself was pretty good and big portion sizes. It's in the corner of the casino so it is loud. Overall I wouldn't recommend going here unless you have a lot of time and don't mind a lot of noise. Good food but I can find better on the boardwalk.

Richard Pinsonnault ..

Yelp
If I could give this 0 stars, I would. First when we got there, we had a reservation and we still had to wait for 15 minutes. I am traveling with my friend who has a severe nut allergy. When she asked about a possible allergy menu or anything she should avoid, they gave us a pitch about how they can't guarantee that there wouldn't be any cross-contamination. First of all, for a restaurant that is gross. It just tells us that your facility isn't clean. Second, as were looking at the menu, which provides an EXTREMELY BASIC selection. Burgers, pizza, some pasta, but literally everything you can find somewhere else with no special charm or unique twist on it. The only specialty items they had were the drinks which were extremely pricey, maybe 2-3 dessert options, and the 2-3 specialty meals they have that cost $150 or so. In all, there is NOTHING special about this place, the hype is way more than what you will get, they will NOT accommodate for people with severe allergies other than gluten, and the "special" items they do have are ridiculously expensive. So if you want a specialty item, pay $150 if you want to, but I appreciate quality over glam.

Yelp
Birthday dinner was good. Definitely felt like I came overdressed but oh well. Always make reservations here because it's always packed. Ordered the champagne pineapple mimosa & shrimp penne Alfredo. He got the Cajun shrimp Penne Alfredo. Both were very good.
google avatar

Marcella G.

Yelp
Pics are cute service isn't awful but not good either and food is best for the photo not the eating. Got milkshakes and they were mostly whipped cream which I'm not sure what it was made of. I got the fried Oreo one and the Oreos were cold so not sure if they prep them in advance for speed or if this was a mistake. Glad I finally got to try it but I won't be going back
google avatar

Andy L.

Yelp
A fun place you've gotta try once in a while! Extravagant drinks and desserts that are perfect for photo ops while staying here by the beach. Lots that are shareable with others... just look at the size of some of their "insane milkshakes"! On this visit I tried the cookie skillet for the first time and it's everything I was looking for. Didn't even use the toppings! It gets pretty busy though so service can be hard to flag down at times but if you're in no rush, it's got great decor both indoors and outdoors on the boardwalk seating area. They've got pictures of celebrities who've stopped by their locations in the past, and you'll even see some name drops in the menu!
google avatar

Lea H.

Yelp
Definitely a tourist spot where they hype up drinks and desserts to be photo ops for social media. I went in with minimal expectations but wanted to try it. Service was friendly (make a reservation). The menu is huge. We had the option of brunch or lunch. We got a mimosa flight which gives you the option of picking out 3 choices from their large selection of Mimosas. And they are 3 full drinks which we shared. I got the rainbow sliders (off the appetizer menu) and my companion got the apple crumble waffles. There are salads etc but you're at The Sugar Factory! Service was definitely on the slower side of things. But no complaints about the food at all. I'd definitely return here for a treat if I have the opportunity.

Yelp
First time to the AC SF and this is one is much bigger. Some tables faced the casino, but we sat in the room that faces the boardwalk. The drinks are fun and the Rainbow sliders are real good. Everyone was happy with their entrée. My grilled cheese was pretty good. French fries were awesome. Girl had the waffle burger and she enjoyed it very much. The first and then the second time at school. Our son liked the wrap, sandwich or whatever he had. He also thought the french fries were the best. We made reservations, so we were seated shortly after we got there. But there were a few people standing around, waiting for a table. I do think some of the servers need a little bit more training. Our waiter seem to be confused when we wanted to order drinks and appetizers before the main course. We didn't want everything coming out at once. With all that nice experience, I'll bring my granddaughter here someday or my wife will drag me here whenever she wants.
google avatar

Tiffany H.

Yelp
We went for brunch during Father's Day weekend and super busy. There was a wait to be seated. We wanted to sit outside. Super fun place n great eats. So many cute places to take yr Insta photos! There's a wall of fame you can see while you wait. The drinks list is huge! All extravagant! It's a must try
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
We came by last night while at the casino. While our waitress was nice, the food was overrated and had no flavor. It's hard to enjoy yourself with the loudness of the restaurant and tons of kids birthdays going on. I would not go out of my way to come here again. Was highly disappointed the goblets we came here for looked nothing like their pictures. NONE of ours came with the candy in them like advertised.
google avatar

Natanya G.

Yelp
Not sure why but I expected Wonderland-esque type of restaurant. Food was pretty good and drinks were delish. Pricey but a fun little trip out to eat with friends

Yelp
Great Bartender, had an amazing time chatting bar atmosphere is great!!!! Food is just ok, but the drink selection is off the charts.......hip and pretty Inside!!!

Yelp
Cool restaurant with a nice atmosphere for the younger crowd but the food isn't great in comparison to the cost. The service at this particular location wasn't great (had a better experience in NYC). The food came out fast but the waiter wasn't attentive after the food came out.

Yelp
I have read great reviews for this restaurant and hence this was our first choice to dine. It didn't disabuse at all. The staff was friendly and service was as quick as they could. Our main course did take 30 minutes to get to us. But we were in no rush. We ordered pasta, enchiladas and sandwich... I am fan of their Cajun chicken Alfredo pasta. I will stake a 2 hour drive just for that... carne asada was yum... all the flavors were nicely incorporated... I am not fan of club sandwich but the mango shake was also delicious with fresh mango. I wanted to try their drinks but maybe next time!!! I was so much enjoying every moment that I just didn't take more photos. So definitely will have to make one more visit!!! I think of you go once you will want to revisit. The place can get full very fast. We went for lunch there around 11:30 and by 12 all tables were filled up.

Yelp
Ambiance is cute but it really looks the the restaurant could use a deep clean. The service was beyond slow .... And the food was horrible. Penne Alfredo came out and the sauce was so runny is was like a soup with noodles . Would not recommend

Yelp
Sugar Factory at the Hard Rock Casino and Resort was actually one of the more reasonably priced restaurants at the hotel. While most of the restaurants were around the $20-$40 pricing, you definitely got more food for your money here, at least in comparison to the Hard Rock Cafe. While we didn't dive into the sweets (which they're more known for), the food itself was good! Since we ate around 10:00pm, there wasn't a huge dinner rush, but they were still pretty busy being a casino restaurant. Service was fine and we were seated at a clean and comfortable table looking over the casino floor. We ordered the steak and cheese sandwich which was much better than expected! My wife had the grilled cheese and added a side of tomato soup for $6 which was pretty delicious and hot. We were very surprised at the size of the soup that was given as we didn't expect much. We were full so we didn't have room for desserts. Pro tip: Many of the food spots are gonna cost around $10-30 for meal, more if you want desserts. Sugar Factory is no different but we felt value-wise, you definitely get your moneys worth here.

Yelp
We came here for deserts. First time at this chain. It is pricey, although not terrible given the serving size, presentation and location. Regarding sizing, I'd strongly recommend sharing deserts (unless you want diabetes). They are huge. For example the milkshake comes with a side of a donut and cupcake! And its a huge milkshake. I had a "cookies and cream" ice coffee which was underwhelming. Presentation was fine, but it was essentially just an ice coffee with cream on the top and small oreo cookies pasted on the outside of the cup. Something I could have easily made at home. I'd say a Frappucino tastes better than this. Also tried some milkshake which was very tasty.

Yelp
My husband and I are here on a Saturday morning for brunch. They were fairly busy but we had a reservation so didn't have to wait long . I started with an espresso martini that was delicious and husband got a rum and coke. I got the mini beef sliders which were just what I wanted and he got an omelette that was good . The omelette came with fried potatoes that were decent. All in all a decent enough brunch .

Yelp
We drove down from Philly after a wrestling event just to check this place out. Myself nor my crew had ever been to AC so this was perfect timing. Place was cool to see all the celebrities that had eaten there, but this place was over hyped. It was one of those places you go just to say you'd been there before. The food was ok, but I definitely had better. The service was basic. The hostess barely looked up at us or other guess and when she did, she didn't even smile or say hello. I won't say it was overpriced. Coming from California, the prices were average and very comparable to ours. However, for the price we definitely expected better tasting, and bigger portions.

Yelp
Party of two went in for late lunch, we went in around 3:15pm but waited forever for two burgers to be served , waitress told us few more mins but we waited forever 20-25mins more after that. I ordered big cheesy with upgrade to onion ring My friend loved hers but mine didn't look as freshly cooked as picture on the menu and salty Meat was not chewy too And they brought french fries so i told server that , he said oh so sorry i saw the side of the onion ring i will bring it out and since you waited long, just take the french fries too Well. Fixed the problem thanks but he knew it should have been side of oinion ring but decided to serve it anyway?? Then they got nerve to say its cooking. Price was $19 for burger and +4 for upgrade to onion ring I gave 20% tips but i doubt it was worth the price

Yelp
Food was ok, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best. The service was great. The restaurant was very nice and cool. It was my son's 12th birthday and this is where he wanted to go. It is pricey for some items.

Yelp
The Sugar Factory restaurant is definitely a place to visit for any special occasions with your kids. Drink prices are on the steeper side. The service was good and staff sing to you if you are celebrating someone's birthday. They don't use fire at this location when other have. The food was surprisingly good. Everyone was happy with their meal. There theme is the yellow ducky which they have a huge one you can pose with in the front area by the Hard Rock Casino on 1st floor by escalator.
