Where to Enjoy a Glass of Chardonnay This Summer in Boston | Eater

"Wine at a candy shop? Why not? This cheeky restaurant and store near Faneuil Hall was made for the Instagram age, with a room where everything’s pink, a literal wall of candy, and the most over-the-top drinks you’ve ever seen. If choices on the “Insane Milkshake” menu — like a caramel-chocolate chip ice cream shake topped with a cheesecake slice, mini pretzels, a cupcake, and whipped cream — are not exactly your vibe, don’t worry. A glass of chardonnay pairs even better with your platter of mini sliders (served on rainbow-colored buns, of course)." - Molly McDonough

I've been to Sugar Factory more times than I can count; it never disappoints. It's one of the few spots where the aesthetic is just as amazing as the food; both are a solid 10/10. A lot of places look cute but fall short on flavor; not here. Everything I've tried has been delicious, and the presentation is always a vibe. If you're planning to go, I recommend booking parking ahead of time through SpotHero; it makes the whole experience smoother, especially during busy hours. This is my go-to spot when I want to impress someone with a fun, Instagram-worthy atmosphere and actually enjoy the food too; always a win! I removed one star because I went there this past weekend and the service wasn't as great as previously

I can’t believe it. I love Sugar Factory, and I can’t recommend this place enough. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant, fun, and welcoming. But what truly made our visit unforgettable was our server, Sandra. Her service was absolutely exceptional she was so kind, attentive, fast, and always had a warm smile. She made sure every detail of our experience was just perfect. We can’t wait to go back to say hello to her. The food was fantastic — every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and generously portioned, hot and tasty. Of course, the desserts and drinks were showstoppers; both delicious and visually stunning. A true feast for the senses. Huge compliments to the entire restaurant team for creating such a unique and joyful experience, and for having such outstanding staff like Sandra. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend Sugar Factory to everyone I know.

A Sweet Experience from Start to Finish! I had the best time at The Sugar Factory! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and fun. The décor is colorful, playful, and perfect for pictures, and the vibe was chill. The food and drinks were excellent! The menu is filled with over-the-top milkshakes, colorful cocktails, and fun comfort food with a twist. Our server was super friendly, patient, and made great recommendations. Everything came out quickly, and they really made us feel welcome. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, having a night out with friends, or just want something fun and Instagram-worthy, The Sugar Factory is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back!

Went to Sugar Factory Boston and the food was so good! The milkshakes are insane, super cute, huge, and sooo delicious. The cocktails were amazing too, really tasty and beautifully presented. Everything looks almost too pretty to eat. The service was also great, super friendly and fast. 100% recommend if you’re looking for something fun, sweet, and extra

BEST PLACE EVER!! I went here for my birthday in January and the place was so me! It was pink, sparkly, good food, etc. Yes it was expensive but it was worth it. We got pictures taken by a photographer (it was by choice). It costed money but the picture turned out great! If you want a big group of people I suggest to RSVP for it. Amazing atmosphere,so pretty. There’s a candy shop in the downstairs floor. Amazing spots to take pictures! AMAZING FRAPPE!! I got the Peanut Butter Frappe! This place is amazing! Loved it!💗

We ordered a drink and a fish sandwich. The drink took 15 minutes to arrive and it wasn't even what we ordered. After 30 minutes, we told the waiter that we are going to pay for the drink and leave. We were very hungry and there was no telling when we'd get our food. All he said was that the cook was new and made the sandwich too small! No apology; no, "the drink is on us". Nothing. We tried telling the hostess and a manager, but no one cared.

Came here for my birthday. We got the Hawaiian punch designed by Kendall and Kylie Jenner, we loved it! It’s enough to split with friends and they put dry ice in it so it’s really cool. We also ordered a foot long mozzarella stick which was huge and good. It’s a fun spot with friends for your birthday!! It’s also conveniently located in Faneuil Hall!

Had the best time at Sugar Factory Boston for my birthday! Marly was an amazing waitress—super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. We ordered two of the famous goblets, and they did not disappoint. Delicious and such a fun experience with the nitrogen smoke effect—it really added to the excitement! The birthday song with the entire service staff was such a fun surprise and made the night feel extra special. There are also tons of great photo ops all around the restaurant, which made capturing memories even more fun. If you're celebrating something—or even if you're not—Sugar Factory Boston is a must! 🎉🍭🍹

Yelp
Sugar factory in Boston is super cute. If ur looking for vibes, ambiance, and a instagram-able place , this is for you. Very kid friendly. If you want good quality food, keep looking. The spinach dip was okay. The steak frites overcooked. The sugar factory burger was simply okay. Nothing special. The service was very slow, and they nearly got everything ordered wrong. We had the wrong appetizer, forgot our salad, gave us wrong fries (wanted Parmesan fries), and had to wait for our steak knives so our steak got a bit cold. The waiter came by just twice to check on us all night. But got a lovely tip as it was already included. The best part was the Cookie Monster milkshake! 10/10 Overall, cute place, okay food. Wouldn't come back.

Yelp
You do not come here for the food, let's be honest. The whimsical place is amazing for kids. Today we got the boneless wings - fine. The steak melt- dry. And the flatbread- good. The milkshake was kind of the star of the show without being good. We got the fried Oreo one. It was really thin and the Oreos were soggy and cold. Overall, it's really really overpriced and the food is very meh but like... it was fun! Also they try and take a pic of you and sell it to you which was weird but at least we got one free one!

Yelp
While visiting Boston for a Yelp event, we decided to have dinner before heading to the Yelp location. We were seated immediately, which was nice. The location was barely open?!? It was mainly my son and I and another table. Or at least it felt that way. The restaurant was super dark and super pink inside. I get the vibe they were trying to give off, but I think restaurants need to learn not everyone wants to eat in the dark. Still cute though. Music playing overhead was ok and it wasn't too noisy inside. We were given menus to peruse. Once we decided what we wanted it was a wait for our waitress to come take our order. We ordered: Boneless Buffalo Wings -- Tossed in Buffalo sauce and topped with green onions. Served with a side of celery sticks and ranch dressing Peace, Love and Harmonie -- This enchanting margarita is made with Hypnotiq Harmonie and natural fruits. Basket of Signature Fries -- Tossed with Sea Salt and parsley Chicken and Waffle -- Buttermilk battered fried chicken (or crispy chicken tenders), classic vanilla bean waffle, whipped butter, maple syrup Our food arrived haphazardly. Our waitress flitted around, but when we asked for extra items, it took a long time to reach us. We asked for extra ranch dressing, we asked for to go boxes, we asked for the check. Everything took longer than expected when the restaurant was NOT crowded. It's also very expensive, for the items we ordered, the bill was $137 even though we didn't order a lot. Don't get me wrong, my meal was delicious, but in today's economy! This is a treat spot

Yelp
Service was very slow, non existent at times. Frozen food also came out cold.. onion rings are good despite them being cool.. Went to bathroom an employee was hot ironing her hair, blocking door with her cord. Single sink her hair all over it!!! Could not understand the waiter. Very expensive for very little and less than mediocre service!! Duck shows sugar factory in picture but not on actual duck!!! They take your picture and they do work to upsell the picture they take

Yelp
Besides some interesting dishes that look cool, the 1000 calorie shakes, and the nice decor of the restaurant, food is subpar. The rainbow slides were interesting, but besides the color, nothing else is good with them. Ordered it for my kids, but each ate half of one and they were done with it. The waffle breakfast burger was ok. Wished the waffle was crunchy but it was soggy and so the texture wasn't there. We didn't get the 1000 calorie shakes as it's too much and the sugar would exceed what we have for days. Not going to lie that the table next to us ordered it and it looked nice.

Yelp
As much as I wanted to like this place, I just don't understand the hype. Sugar Factory has been on my list of places to try for forever and when I had the opportunity to visit the Boston location, I jumped at the opportunity. Unfortunately everything was off. Don't get me wrong the place is stunning but when the employees don't understand English and they get your order wrong and then don't understand that you are telling them it's wrong, that's a problem. It's not like this place is cheap. You're dishing out a good amount of money for this service. We were there for 3 hours which was a bit ridiculous if you ask me. Food is fun looking but overall mediocre. Great for photo ops not so much the dining experience I was hoping for.

Yelp
Overall SFB was ok. Service was a little slow when sat down (wasn't that busy) and 3 out of 5 for cleanliness. The food was better than I expected. Rainbow sliders were great and the buns were soft. The wings on the sampler were very good. Spicy and flavorful buffalo wings that were crispy. No ranch or blue cheese needed. I highly recommend those. The kids chose the Oreo Milkshake. I think it was work the $20. Make sure you ask for extra straws / spoons if you get one. It was really good...

Yelp
Fun atmosphere and amazing desserts. The service was friendly and timely. My young ones absolutely loved it. I have never seen them look at a menu for so long, with all the colorful pictures. The quality of food was just as delicious as the "over the top" drinks and shakes. I had my reservations thinking the look was more important than the flavors, I was surprised. A feast for the eyes and the tastebuds. We live closer to Las Vegas and we will be trying that location in the near future with other family.

Yelp
Today was our first time visiting Sugar Factory in Faneuil Hall. We had 5:30 reservation for outside, but there was very loud music playing outside nearby. We asked the hostess if we could sit inside instead and she said no that there weren't any inside seats available. We could see several seats available inside though. We sat outside and our family of three couldn't hear each other over the music and bass. I asked the hostess again to let us know if any seats inside opened up. She again said there was nothing available, but another employee said oh we can seat you on the first floor inside, which was great. I'm not sure why this wasn't originally offered though. We ordered chips and guacamole for an app. They were amazing. For meals, I ordered the salmon salad, which was fantastic. My son ordered the wagyu smash burger, which he loved. For dessert he got the rainbow Brite shake, which we shared. It was huge and tasty. However, a server brought the shake out and we didn't have any plates or utensils to eat the cake hanging off the side of the shake. We were sitting near the bar so my husband asked the bartender for utensils. They said they don't have any. Our server was no where to be found and my husband needed to peruse the restaurant until he found utensils. It was really strange. The ambiance was cute and there were definitely some Instagram worthy photo ops. The food was also pretty good, but the service was far less than stellar. Prices are high especially considering how poor the service is. Our bill was $200 for 3 people and that only included one drink. We had high expectations and were very excited for our first visit, but sadly we're not planning to return due to the poor service and high prices.

Yelp
The hostess was new and didn't really know what she was doing, but she was nice enough. Our waiter was very nice and prompt and knowledgeable. He was probably the best thing about the experience. The food was mediocre at best. Our french fries were pretty much cold, but we were hungry enough to eat them. I think most of the food is like premade somewhere else maybe... it's all about the ambience at the place. It's definitely fun decor and over the top drinks. I wouldn't go back, but it was fine and the price was fine for the area.

Yelp
Perfect place for special events like birthdays, kids outings, or even those sweet tooth pregnancy cravings! As a salad connoisseur, I didn't expect to LOVE their large-portioned salad it's perfectly charred grill shrimp. The staff was friendly and even sped up our kiddos dessert request despite the kitchen being very busy. The general manager was decked out in festive holiday gear greeting tables and socializing with kids. Do expect to leave feeling full! There is even a candy store n the back as you exit the restaurant, how fitting for a place named Sugar Factory!

Yelp
My first time and my last time. The staff was great and nice. The food, is not the best. The fries and the burger were mediocre. I definitely would not return to this restaurant chain anywhere in the US. Looking for a place to eat, its not here.

Yelp
My husband and I were really excited to try Sugar Factory and ultimately we were meh about the whole experience. The restaurant was packed, when we got there if you didn't have a reservation you were out of luck. I expected this and we had reservations. Unfortunately we were sat upstairs and we were surrounded by children having birthdays and teenagers having birthdays. Not exactly the setting you want for date night but also to be expected. We sat for more than 10 minutes before our waiter finally took our app and drink order. We started with the Spinach and Artichoke Dip and ordered two of their insane milkshakes. We figured our shakes would get there first, they didn't. When we got our dip I ordered a soda figuring the shakes were taking a bit. We finished our app (which was delicious) and then our shakes arrived. Another 10 minutes went by before our waiter took our dinner order. We drank our shakes while we waited for dinner and unfortunately while I loved my shake my husband did not. His shake was melted and warm, very disappointing. I had gotten the super cheesy smash burger and my husband got the short rib grilled cheese. These meals saved this review to be honest. Both dishes were beyond delicious! Chances are we will give them a second try and hopefully we will have better service!

Yelp
I went here with my husband for the first time and had a delightful visit. We did not have a reservation (which we will definitely do next time we return). The food was presented in a nice way and the drinks we ordered had a wow reaction. The service was friendly and he kept checking to see if everything was okay ( which it was). The atmosphere was laid back and we stayed as long as we liked. We would recommend this as a fun place to celebrate a special occasion at or just for a fun visit to go to. Will definitely return!

Yelp
My deaf friends and I went at Sugar Factory first. I ordered a buffalo chicken wings and fries. Finally I got a hot chocolate with S'mores. It helps me better and relax. Next month, I will show my family about Sugar Factory.

Yelp
We was greeted as soon as we walked through the staff act. If we had reservations we said yes and they brought us to our seat quickly. We took pictures the inside of so beautiful. They have phone booth downstairs that you could take pictures in as well. the food was good But honestly it's overrated.

Yelp
Walk in, and you are transformed into another world. Surrounded by flower walls and candy, it is a fun environment! We ordered a shake and iced coffee. The Boston Cream Pie shake was delicious. I had to eat the piece of Pie on top first to get to the shake! Darn. Hee hee. The salted caramel coffee was presented with a delicious waffle on top. Had to eat that also! The flatbread was great! Loved the mix of mushrooms, ricotta, arugula, balsamic, and evoo was perfection. Our server was very personable and efficient. I would definitely return or visit the location near me.

Yelp
Yikes, what a ripoff. I know everything in the city is expensive and I don't mind paying for quality, but this ain't it!! First of all, I thought this was a candy store. I was surprised when my friend suggested going here to get a drink. The restaurant itself is cool and in a good location, however, this in no way justifies the prices charged. I ordered the coconut chocolate martini. I expected something unusual and elaborate due to the $25 price tag. What I got was the most expensive, underwhelming, and disappointing martini I've had in a long time. It was mainly whip cream with caramel sauce. There was no chocolate and I couldn't taste the alcohol, which is pretty much the whole point of a martini. I was kind of shocked to be honest. I think this place would be ok for just dessert or maybe even a child's birthday but can't say I recommend the drinks :(

Yelp
I recently went to the Sugar Factory with my daughter. The positivity lacked upon entry with me inquiring if this location was even open. There were several hosts at the desk and they replied with a very non-enthusiastic "yes." We were brought upstairs and sat in the area my daughter requested which overlooked the performers outside. Our server arrived and again, very non-enthusiastic. Both of these interactions surprised me as the atmosphere was very upbeat and beautifully decorated for the Halloween season. My daughter ordered mozzarella sticks that came lukewarm (barely) and had black bits that I told one of the food runner about when he brought the macaroni balls which were surprisingly tasteless despite all the cheese. He said he would tell our server. Our server came to our table sometime later and said, "it's just burnt pieces from the grill." ... okay... so now I'm wondering if you clean your grill properly and why you expect customers to be okay with black pieces from the grill. The ice cream which I assume most people come for was largely disappointing considering so much of it is stuck to the outside of the glass - all of my Oreo crumble was stuck to the outside, same for my daughters strawberry cheese cake pieces. It was really just ice cream in a cup with toppings that weren't bad visually but again, surprisingly lacked taste and flavor. It was an insanely expensive trip considering the highly disappointing service. The BEST service was the bus boy and food runner.

Yelp
We went to Sugar Factory for their Valentine's Day brunch and it was okay. The restaurant recently opened, but the staff seemed confused. We had a reservation and had to wait 15 minutes to get seated. The servers kept bringing out the wrong food to our table. We hadn't put our order in and they kept bringing us drinks/apps that weren't ours. The food was so-so, the burger was cooked well. We were disappointed with the sweets tower we ordered, definitely not worth the price for what you received. The decor of Sugar Factory was super cute and very Instagram-able. There were several little kids' birthday parties happening and it seems like a popular place for that.

Yelp
The Sugar Factory has opened at Faneuil Hall Marketplace/Quincy Market in Boston. I decided to head over there after work. They are having a soft opening today with plenty of staff from other Sugar Factory locations training the local staff. My friend and I have been to the Foxwoods location for dinner, drinks, and fancy dessert shakes. I enjoyed the Signature Sugar Factory Burger with Fries, Mac & Cheese Pops and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Mania Shake (not on the Boston menu). I walked in around 4:20pm and headed to the bar, no wait. The bartender was visiting from Dallas and gave me a 6 page menu to look at which has their food menu, brunch menu, desserts, classic & insane shakes, and fancy drinks & goblets (meant for sharing). Their food menu offerings are more extensive than the Foxwoods location, most quite similar to a pricier TGIF's food menu, but with some creative and local selections such as the rainbow sliders, lobster sliders, lump crab cake, and Ipswich clams. The place has two levels including the bar area with seating all around including sunroom on one side with table seating and candy shop with pink telephone booth on level one and more dining rooms and bars upstairs including the Pretty In Pink room and sunroom dining and a big yellow ducky on top of the stairs. The place is very bright and colorful in most parts with celeb pics on the walls. I ordered the Rainbow Sliders ($26 plus tax) which had a rubber ducky (to keep) and 5 colorful grilled beef sliders with American cheese, pickles & special sauce, each on food colored soft chewy slider buns, red, yellow, blue, green, and purple buns. The beef patties were cooked well done and very firm. For a dessert shake, I chose the Cookie Monster ($19 plus tax) which was over the top presented with Cookies 'n cream ice cream blended with vanilla sauce, topped with whipped cream, topped with a blue glazed donut, a chocolate chip cookie, a blue frosted cupcake on the side and served in a chocolate chip cookie crumble frosted covered mug. This shake did not disappoint. This shake was just very sweet and not rich like a shake with chocolate cake and fudge. The check was presented after I was done, $48.15 with tax and before tip. Overall, The Sugar Factory Boston seems like a fun place to eat and drink, geared towards the younger demographic. The service on this visit was good with refills on my ice water and prompt service from veteran SF bar staff (from Dallas & Atlantic City). I would consider the Sugar Factory for birthday celebrations and try to tackle the Sugar Factory King Kong Sundae with my crew.

Yelp
This place is very good for little kids especially girls with tons of pink. As an adult the menu was so big that it's very easy to go wrong. 42 dollars for a drink is insane but overall is good but next time you should just go for desert. Workers we nice but slow. Still do not believe that Snoop Dog or Bruno Mars went here.
google avatar

Yelp
Overall great experience. Servers are great and stop to sing happy birthday every 10 minutes, which makes it a fun place for kids. The specialty shakes are massive and are hard to finish even if you share. You will be too full to eat. The food is good. Decent variety of dishes and liberal use of coloring. Yes, it is crazy expensive but you're paying for the atmosphere and it's also in tourist trap central of Boston. The manager was rough around the edges and gruff with customers. The hostesses were not welcoming at all even. No smile and it seemed like we were bothering them. If you have a drinking problem, skip AA and just come here. You could stand at the bar for 30 minutes and never see a bartender. I'd come again since the kids liked it.

Yelp
Overall: 2 Stars good for drinks and Instagram pictures, but the food left me wanting more Food: we mainly ordered drinks here but there's sharable small plates options too we got sliders which were burnt and hard like a hockey puck, but they were pretty colors so there's that! Each cocktail was between $16-50 depending on if you get a small cocktail or a huge goblet with candies and dry ice Pricing: $16-50 drinks and $20-40 sharables Ambiance: colorful and pretty, very vibrant and pleasing to the eye Seating & Parking: plenty of seating both upstairs and downstairs, bar seating as well as 2nd floor seating that overlooks the first floor Service: service was alright, they're a bit cold but they switch up and act warm once it's time to tip Music: pop, radio music Bathrooms: male and female bathroom on both floors Final comments: great for drinks and pictures, horrible food Cute candy shop downstairs but a bit pricey

Yelp
Went for dinner with 4 friends. The special holiday menu got our attention but we were left disappointed. We had a reservation but there were lots of empty tables. I had chicken tenders and fries. The fries were bland and soggy. My margarita was not worth the $19 as it tasted like there was minimal alcohol in it. Passed on dessert but my friends got crème brûlée which cost $20 for a small dish. There were a few birthday celebrations going on so the music got very loud at times. I don't think I will return.

Yelp
The best description for Sugar Factory is WOW. The food was surprisingly good. The drinks were huge and exotic (with a lot of dry ice smoke ). The colored burgers were fun for the kids. (The buns are colored 5 different primary colors). The pot roast, sampler platter, shrimp cocktail, and Asian salad were all thumbs up at our table. We had 2 five year olds celebrating their birthdays and the staff was terrific. Complete with singing to them, ice cream with sprinkles and candle and a foaming bowl of smoke that thrilled them. It was a fun experience for a special occasion and the food was good. Make a reservation- very busy!!

Yelp
You already know this place is terrible. Come on. I came here because a friend insisted. Despite several cancelations due to a snowstorm, the service was still terrible. I don't think we ever saw the same server twice, and each visit was about 20 minutes apart, which means by the time we ordered our entrees, it had been over an hour. The restaurant (and I use this loosely) has all the ambiance of watching a gumball machine being executed in an electric chair. Everything from the decor to the lights to the music assault your senses. The food itself was nothing more than microwaved prepackaged slop that you'd get from a Sam's Club freezer section, but marked up to take advantage of tourists. Going here is the equivalent of spending $200 to eat at your local 7-11.

Isabel G.

Yelp
Slow service. Mediocre food.Elevator was broken so we couldn't be seated upstairs since our family member is in a wheelchair.Don't bother going here. Not worth the trip.

Yelp
This is definitely a drinks and dessert kind of place. Great for a celebration or flashy drink photo shoot but overall not impressed with the quality of food or drinks. The large specialty drinks are fun but strong in a make you pucker way and not that delicious for the price. The food is pretty good - but not the star of the show. I would save your money and order dinner else where and come here for the after party and dessert vibes. Service for a Tuesday night was not stellar: different staff is tasked with running plates/clearing the tables then taking orders which caused an issue when we tried to tell the server during delivery we received the wrong flatbread and they said they'd send a waiter over but that took a long time and then we didn't get our corrected ordered until all the other food had been cleared from the table including drinks. This place is more sparkle than substance but fun for the occasional night out.

Yelp
Made a reservation at 6pm for 5 people after visiting the wdnr museum. The service and food was nothing special and some of the staff are still training. Drinks and food are overprice... don't think I will come back again... maybe drinks only

Yelp
Went here on St. Patrick's Day weekend. The place was busy. Ordered the Special soup and the Shamrock shake on the menu. Only got the Shamrock shake and the soup never arrived. Service was slow and inconsistent. We ended up leaving and disregarding the soup all together. The please is nicely decorated but I think they need more organization.

Yelp
I typically don't leave reviews, but my experience on April 24, 2025, compels me to share a serious concern that significantly impacted what could have been an enjoyable evening. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was immediately met with a hostile and uncomfortable environment--created entirely by the manager on duty, who was wearing what I believe was a salmon-colored shirt. While I didn't catch his name, his behavior was unmistakably unprofessional and concerning. From the moment I walked in, he projected a negative energy that affected everyone around him. I overheard him speaking poorly about both guests and his own staff. One particularly inappropriate comment directed at a customer--"before you get more pissed off"--was jarring and completely out of line. He also told other guests that one of his hosts "doesn't even know what she is doing." Such remarks are unprofessional, degrading, and unacceptable from someone in a leadership position. Our party had made a reservation in advance, which the restaurant failed to honor. Instead of owning the mistake, we were given multiple, conflicting explanations. I remained calm and tried to de-escalate the situation to find a solution that worked for everyone. I politely asked the manager--more than once--to lower his tone and stop addressing me with an attitude. Rather than take accountability, he responded childishly with, "Well, before you got here they were giving me an attitude." Even after I agreed to wait, he continued repeating himself, keeping the mood unnecessarily tense. Let me be clear: this 1 star review is directed solely at the manager. His conduct was unprofessional, unhelpful, and toxic. In my opinion, he should not be in a position of leadership. Thankfully, the rest of the staff saved the night. Andreas, our server, was nothing short of incredible. He handled every task with patience and professionalism--serving, bartending, bussing, and running food--while making guests feel welcomed and cared for. It was clear he was essentially on his own to manage the upstairs, while the actual manager was nowhere to be found. Despite being spoken about so poorly by her superior, the host remained kind and composed. The support staff--including bar backs, food runners, and bussers--were just as helpful and hardworking. If Andreas ever chooses to pursue a managerial position, he'd excel. He exemplifies the kind of leadership and dedication this restaurant truly needs more of. While the evening started off with deep disappointment, it ended on a better note thanks to the incredible team--especially Andreas. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously. No guest or staff member deserves to experience the kind of treatment we witnessed.

Yelp
We arrived a little ahead of our reservation. The atmosphere was a little off putting at first while waiting at the bar for our table. We ordered drinks from the bar while waiting for our reservation (we acknowledged our early arrival and the wait wasn't bad). The drinks took at least 20/25 minutes. Redemption was they were yummy! We were seated and our server was excellent! We got food (various appetizers) before drinks though which was unusual. All in all - a good experience.

Yelp
if i could leave 0 stars... i would. where do I even start with this place. The aesthetic is great. The vibe is good, I guess. But the management is terrible and so is the food. It took us 12 minutes for a waitress to come to us so we sat there with no waters while waiting. Not to mention it was really slow. No one checked in on us about our food and the food was absolutely disgusting. None of us ate anything. we were originally sat in a dark corner when there was all open seating on the balcony with the aesthetic area that wasn't as claustrophobic or smelly. after speaking with the host TWICE she finally agreed to let us move to a better table. ordered a martini and it tasted like cheap liquor and there was no other taste.

Yelp
DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE A NUT ALLERGY. When we told our server we had a nut allergy, she was confused about what we wanted and did not know what to do. We had to specifically ask if they use peanut oil or peanuts in the burger, and she seemed unsure but did not bother to check the ingredients for us. We ordered a medium-rare burger and when we cut it in half we realized that it was raw in the middle. We asked if it could be cooked a bit more and they gave us a new burger just as raw. The third burger was slightly better but certainly not medium rare. The fries were pretty good and the vibe was great. Without these, this place would get 1 star honestly.

Yelp
The place is really cool and seems to get full quick. I just didn't like the Fried chicken sandwich, it was a little bit dry and burn. I'm willing to try the rest as they sound delicious..

Yelp
Went to Sugar Factory with my daughter and grandson in Faneuil Hall Boston. We made a noontime reservation. This place has quite the decorations...everything is pink. Got there and were seated in short order upstairs. I guess the thing here is the cool drinks and shakes. Grandson wanted one of those goblet drinks with cotton candy but they said their cotton candy machine was broken so they couldn't do anything with cotton candy. Disappointing. So he get one of the other concoctions (there are many). We each got a Peace, Love and Harmonie, Our two drinkls were $20 each. His was I believe $32.00! But his drink came bubbling and smoking (they put dry ice in the drink), so he loved it. I had my heart set on fajitas, but when I got there their menu they give you does not match the online menu and they were not on the menu. So, I got the turkey club sandwich. My daughter a Caesar salad and french fries. My grandson got the rainbow sliders. My club sandwich was pretty good although there is no way you can put your whole mouth on that sandwich no matter how big your mouth is...so, I took the top half off and ate that way. Needless to Say I did not finish it. My daughter said her salad was ok but lacked flavor. Both she and I tried the sliders and both of us said yuk. All in all, it's a fun place to go for a shake or drinks. It very expensive so for me once was enough. For the price though, they should work on getting their cotton candy machine replaced and making sure the online menu matches the restaurant.

Yelp
This spot was really fun. They are in a soft opening so they didn't have their full menu but that didn't stop us. The service was really great and everything we tried was yummy. Sure, it's over the top but it's a great stop for some fun atmosphere and photo ops. Don't come here if you are expecting something low key. It's flashy but you won't go broke stopping in. Sure, it's overpriced but if you have a special occasion, it's worth the stop. It's Boston, so parking is a pain in the butt-- be sure to plan that ahead so you don't spend more on parking than the cost of your meal. We celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday here and she had a blast. It was a special memory for sure.

Yelp
Visually stunning in both atmosphere and menu items. Two levels to this location offer a multitude of seating options from bar seating to tables, on both levels. Each room has its own exciting decorations and of course all the items are "instagram-able". We witnessed a birthday celebration which brings out over the top desserts that will have the whole restaurant looking at you. They are known for the exciting drinks, especially the goblets. Definitely recommend making a reservation in advance as this is located in the heart of Boston and is sure to be busy year-round.

Yelp
My kids and I had an awesome time here! The decor offered many photo opportunities. The food, drink, and dessert menus were exciting because you can't find a lot of the menu items elsewhere. My daughter squealed when she saw the Flaming Hot Cheetos burger, but she had one problem- she doesn't eat beef. They subbed the patty with fried chicken without any trouble or up charges. My son opted for a specialty shake and it did not disappoint. The fried Oreos on top were delicious. My steak salad was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and flavorful. Why not a 5 star review then? The fries came unsalted and were bland, but it wasn't a huge deal because she was so focused on trying to eat the MASSIVE burger. The pancakes on the shake were kind of cold and gross, but the rest of it shined. My son had some floaters in his water, again, not huge... we asked for a new glass, but those little things, kept it from being a perfect meal. Lastly, I wish a couple hours of parking could be validated. I'd love to return over and over again but the cost of the public garage is outrageous.

Yelp
Food was ok. Really good shakes. Be prepared to spend some money $$$$. We came for a surprise birthday for our daughter.

Yelp
I'm just going to start this review by saying: if your teen daughter wants to go here with her friends to celebrate her birthday, then go and pretend to enjoy yourself. Otherwise, STAY AWAY. Run, don't walk, to ANY other restaurant. Remember when your little kids wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese, and you grudgingly brought them, and the food was awful and it cost a fortune? Welcome to the teen girl version. This is the saddest pretend happy place on earth. The decor hides an incredibly depressing establishment. The employees don't look happy to be there, the place is devoid of diners save for a few well-heeled teens and a couple of middle-aged women on a sugar kick. The food is HORRIBLE, except for the ice cream (shakes, etc). Honestly the food at Friendly's is SOOOO much better, and you won't leave $300 lighter than you came. And that's for 4 (FOUR) people! We had a variety of hot apps, which were all bland and cold. The fries were meh, the burger was just ok, the fish and chips was greasy and sogged out, the pasta Alfredo was congealed and lukewarm, AND flavorless. The drinks were like kerosene with ZERO personality or creativity. The service was slow and the servers were like robots. They genuinely looked pained to be working there. They brought over boxes and bags before we were half finished, but it was ok because my wife and I wanted to get the hell out of there. To add a grossness factor, there were little flies that pestered us throughout the meal. We left and could still feel the little buggers in our hair, even though they probably were still in the restaurant. All in all, we will never go back. The ice cream shakes were delicious and over the top, but even those don't make up for overpriced, cold, bland, disappointing food and a lack of good service and unenthusiastic staff. Zero stars if I could.

Yelp
Cute place for kids. Food and drinks were gross. I went with 4 people with a reservation. My bill was $321. Insane. I had a reservation for 2 weeks and they tried to sit my family with 2 kids at the bar. I said absolutely not. Then on the loft. Again absolutely not. Not sure why my reservation was a less important than anyone else. I voiced that and finally got to sit in the pink room. Our waiter was a sweetheart but I was waiting for my table and another waiter was behind me and said "move move". Also the "sugar room" was sad and not worth it at all. We won't be returning.

Yelp
This place is so fun! The drinks are so full of fun, with a bunch of candy and dry ice that comes out while they pour, the ambiance is super pink and cute too. It is a bit loud inside though I will say. These drinks are large so you can definitely share. The price is 50 for one of them.

Yelp
The server was amazing and the food. The vibes were amazing music wasn't to loud. We got the mini colored sliders, the hot Cheeto burger it was really amazing. My family all enjoyed the food and the bill was not as crazy as we expected.

Yelp
ehh. decor is pretty. service takes a long time; i think there was only one server for at least 4 tables when i went. waiting time to order and get the check was too long. food is too expensive and the taste is not on par with the price.

Yelp
This place is only good for your IG photo. My wife and I came in to order dessert to go. The hostess told us we could do that at the bar. We walk over to the EMPTY bar and wait 10 MINS for someone to come and take our order. The bartender had to MANUALLY input our order because the item we ordered "wasn't in the system yet." How the hell is that possible?! After placing our one item order (strawberry shortcake skillet cookie), we waited ANOTHER 15MINS for it to finally come out and they were like "here you go bye!" If we wanted to, we could have just walked out with our food right then because no one stopped to give us the check. Good thing we asked for the check because we're not ones to dine and dash. After paying we left to go back to our hotel. The dessert was AWFUL! It was bland. How can a sugar cookie be bland and not sweet?! The cheesecake bites tasted like Sarah Lee cheesecake that you get in the grocery store. The ice cream (which should have been put in a separate container and wasn't) was also bland. The cookie was over cooked. I couldn't even finish it. Not worth the $25 for something I could have made at home and actually have flavor. Only recommend this place for IG pic: after you take that pic, leave and don't eat the food. Expensive and overrated.

Yelp
We spontaneously stopped by with a prayer that there will be space as my son just turned 7 (we will definitely be making a reservation the next time). The amazing host and bartenders were so gracious that they gave us a chair (and amazing ice cream) and sang to my son. The staff including Manuel, Luis and another amazing staff sang to my lil one despite being completely booked. The ambiance was gorgeous and the cake was deliciously sugary lol Camila is also awesome! Everyone here is so sweet, kind and accommodation- my son feels so special on his birthday. Thank you all for making my son's birthday so awesome- we will be back
