I can say with 100% certainty that I will never step foot in another sugar factory establishment. This was hands down the worst dining experience I have ever had. I apologize in advance for the very long review, but there was so much that went wrong during this visit. Everything about this place, from the half eaten chicken wing next to my shoe on the floor, to the service, and the management, is absolutely atrocious.
We had a 3:15 reservation for 4 for my friends birthday. We got seated maybe around 3:25-3:30. It took awhile, many 20 min for anyone to come over and acknowledge us or even bring us waters.
When our waiter finally came over we placed our drink orders and an appetizer. Maybe 30 minutes later the appetizer came out, but we did not have any silverware or napkins. We asked 5 different people for silverware and no one brought any. Someone in our party had to go stand outside of the kitchen and grab someone's attention.
Meanwhile our waiter is bouncing around joining in every "happy birthday" song, but not checking on us at all. At this point the only drink we have received was a diet soda. We were still waiting on a mimosa, Bloody Mary, and the lollipop passion goblet. Another 20 minutes went by and the rest of our drinks finally started to come out. Except my mimosa. He finally came back to let me know they were out of champagne. It took him an hour from when I placed my drink order to let me know that they were out of champagne, how ridiculous!!! I just stuck with water as I didn't want to wait another hour for my drink to come out. At this point our waiter told us our food would be our shortly. We all looked at each other and said, we haven't even ordered our food yet!!! When we had first arrived he said they were doing brunch, but now since it had been over an hour since we had been there, we missed brunch. My husband ordered the hanger steak frites and I ordered the club sandwich. The waiter came back to let us know they were out of steak so he picked the grilled ham and four cheese sandwich. That sandwich was mediocre at best, he could have made a better one at home. My club sandwich however was very good I will give them that. As we were eating our waiter came back to let us know that his shift was ending and a new waitress was taking over. I wish he would have just cashed us out at that point. Because when we tried to cash out with the new waitress, our check was locked under his name. Such a hassle. It took probably 30 minutes to get the bill situation figured out. And then the mimosa and hanger steak that we never received were still on the bill and they had to get the manager to take them off. Then the waitress disappeared when she was supposed to bring change back and at that point we were just ready to leave. From the time we sat down, to the time we left, was over 2 hours (not by choice).
We never ended up getting a dessert for her birthday due to the server change and us just wanting to get out of there as soon as we could. It was probably a good thing as I see they charge $5 for the sparkler on top of the dessert.
Someone must have also ordered a very special sundae because they turned off all the lights, brought candles out to every single table, and started blaring music. It then somehow got louder, which I didn't think was possible. It was piercing to all of our ears. All the servers came and did a dance at this table too. It was unlike anything I had ever experienced before and I hope I never have to experience anything like this ever again.
Now I'm reading complaints on the better business bureau website about them double charging credit cards months later, so now I have that to be worried about too.
All of the other 1 star reviews are spot on with how terrible this place is and I cannot stress this enough, STAY FAR AWAY!!! Seriously if I could convince just one person out of going I would consider that a win.
