Where to Dine and Drink Near State Farm Stadium

"Sugar Factory, a celebrity-endorsed eatery known for appearances by everyone from Kim Kardashian to Drake as well as its over-the-top desserts, opened its first Arizona location earlier this year, just a short walk from State Farm Stadium. And while its name might suggest a menu consisting of nothing but sweets, diners will find plenty of hearty, savory options to keep them satisfied throughout a football game. There are the whimsical Sugar Factory Rainbow sliders with colorful buns, sandwiches, tacos — even pasta. Don’t skip dessert at Sugar Factory - choices include a stuffed chocolate chip ice cream sandwich, the pink Barbie Insane milkshake (with strawberry ice cream, a pink glazed donut and cotton candy), or a New York cheesecake." - Jamie Killin

We went here for my grandson's birthday. We had a party of nine. Bryan was our server, and he was fantastic! He was attentive and took good care of us. The food and drinks were very expensive and definitely not worth the prices they were charging. The burgers were average at best. The chicken was not good. Grandson did like his colorful sliders. He had a good time, which is all that matters.

It's such a fun and unique place! I took my mom out for brunch. We ordered the onion rings and sliders and the fancy "Pretty in Pink" non-alcoholic goblet. My mom loved the onion rings. The sliders were super dry and did not come with their secret sauce. That said, we came for the experience, and it did not disappoint. The service was phenomenal. On the way out, we stopped at the candy store. The dot wall was cool, but the candy selection was bare bones. Many items were not stocked or empty altogether. All in all, it's pricey but worth going at least once.

I have been to a few Sugar Factories in other locations and this by far is the worst one I have been to. I have visited this location two times in the last 5 months. The first time the experience was very mediocre but thought we would bring our daughter and give it another try. Unfortunately, our experience was terrible. We arrived, got seated, and waited around for about 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged and brought waters. Since we had been waiting awhile we already knew what to order. Our daughter is 3 so we thought it would be fun to order the rainbow sliders that come with the little duck. My husband ordered some sort of ranch burger, that they were out of, it's not even on the online menu which makes me believe that the menus they have printed are outdated. He then ordered the Super Cheesy Smokey Bacon Burger and I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Loaded Fries. We waited...and waited...and waited. My poor daughter, granted she is a toddler, asked several times where her food was. When our food arrived about 30 minutes later they brought buffalo chicken wings instead of the Buffalo Loaded Fries. Mentioned it to the server and had to wait some more for the correct food. Meanwhile we got started on the sliders. I noticed that the menu says crispy onions and these did not come with them. When I asked the server she said they no longer come with them. Okay. We proceeded to eat them and then I noticed that the sliders did not come with the Sugar Factory duck that the menu also says it comes with. These sliders cost $29! At those prices, they need to come with everything the menu says they will come with and if it doesn't, that is absolutely ridiculous not to mention false advertising! I asked the server about the duck and she said they were probably out but would check if they had any. She came back and said they were out but they could give us $5 off, most likely because I mentioned that paying $29 is ridiculous. At this point, I was very annoyed with one thing after another. They finally brought out the fries. They were okay. Husband wasn't the biggest fan of the burger. We thought we would finish with the Cookie Jar sundae, because you can't mess that up. We waited about 10 minutes. The sundae was the only thing that was good about this experience. When it was time to pay, the server brings over the device to charge our card. I don't know about anyone else but I think it's so unprofessional for an establishment to have their employees stand there with the device glued to their hand, watching you input the tip you are giving them. So awkward and uncomfortable. Server was lucky my husband was the one giving the tip because he was way too generous for the experience we received. I was so excited to finally live close to a Sugar Factory but sadly, I will never be back. I love the Sugar Factory but this location is just terrible and run down. They have this big screen and this is what it looks like (reference pictures). Half the neon lights are actually working and the bar area is just so dim sad looking. If you have never visited a Sugar Factory, PLEASE....DON'T LET THIS BE YOUR FIRST EXPERIENCE. Save your money and wait to visit a different location.

We had an amazing experience at Sugar Factory for my 18th birthday dinner! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked if we could be in the room with the flower wall. They were super accommodating and opened it just for us. Our server was super friendly and was always there when we needed something. They sang happy birthday to me and I got a free bowl of ice cream. I would definitely recommend Sugar Factory for your next night out!

Good was fast and fabulous. Hot and delicious. The service was not as good as it should have been we had 4 courses and no one removed dishes as we changed courses. No water refills and the staff was friendly but under staffed. The music was too loud, when the staff celebrates a birthday the music gets louder and lights flash not good for small children or adults with medical conditions. The candy store did not have a good inventory it looks picked over and we drove an hour to dine at Sugar Factory. We did not bring candy home and thought we would. A little disappointed.

Google
I have to say, the atmosphere and service are excellent. The food however, is unremarkable. The niche coffee drinks and margaritas are very unique and worth exploring. Back to the food, we ordered the chicken and waffles and the chicken quesadilla. The fried chicken's saving grace was that it wasn't greasy but it also lacked seasoning. The quesadilla had great flavor but it somehow was so grease that the tortilla got very soggy. I would consider this a place to visit while at Westgate, but definitely not a destination. As with most places at Westgate, the difficulty of finding parking and now having to pay for parking is a big deterrent that many of us would just opt for so many other nearby locations with convenient free parking.

such a fun and cute place to eat! all their food was so good and had so many different options to choose from. Austen was our server and he had excellent customer service! would definitely recommend if you are in Glendale!

This place is definitely a fun place to hit up for a unique atmosphere and some interesting desserts! The menu is extensive, expensive, and the desserts come with free diabetes 🤣 The shakes are truly a work of art. The cheesecake on one of ours was frozen making it difficult to eat. We tried it out as a fun place for a 18th birthday celebration and it delivered as a unique experience with some fun looking food and drinks!

Yelp
Nicci is a exceptional server!! She knows the menu like the back of her hand! Her knowledge is impeccable. You would be so lucky to have her as your server! She made my first time here at Sugar Factory the most pleasant experience ever! The food is also great! I recommend the hot cheeto burger ! I will be coming back!

Yelp
Absolutely horrible service, food and attitudes. This is our first time and we were super excited only to be let down. Our order was quite simple, buffalo ranch fries,, a ribeye, steak, cooked, medium, and the brick chicken with the sauce and onion straws on the side. After waiting for 40 minutes for our food while the restaurant was empty at 9:30 on a Tuesday night, our server brought the chicken and mashed potatoes first, it was followed up with the steak and potatoes. Then our server went and served a different table their meal and she came back 10 minutes later and I asked her if my wife was going to get her buffalo fries and she said yeah and walked away. About five minutes later she came back with them and we also asked her about the sauce for my daughters chicken and the onion straws came back with the sauce and that was it Frustrated I asked to speak to a manager who came out and let me know he was the assistant manager and I showed him the steak that was cooked well done and looked like shoe that you charge $45 for and asked if it's customary to serve multiple tables at the same time before one is been served their complete meal and why would it take 20 minutes to serve us our meals from , being three items off the menu he didn't have an answer and said he would give me a discount to my meals or to make sure that we were happy The nut net is the meal was horrible. The service was worse and speaking with the Assistant manager didn't make things better. It made me more frustrated because he really made it clear that the server was a reflection of the management But the bright side of the night we still wanted dessert s so we ended up going to cold stone and crumble and enjoyed their service and offerings instead of yours which we had planned on ordering Sunday and shake for dessert We ended up leaving

Yelp
I've been curious to try out their desserts, so when my son had a day off from school, we decided to swing by and see what all the fuss was about. We ended up ordering a Sampler Platter, The Big Cheesy Burger, and a Ginger Sesame Chicken Salad - quite a mix, right? Surprisingly, we didn't opt for any dessert. The dessert menu was so overwhelming that we jokingly felt like it could give us diabetes just by looking at it! We're usually conscious about our diets, so indulging in a big dessert for lunch wasn't on our minds. The food portions were huge and delicious though - we couldn't even finish our meals, let alone think about dessert! Despite missing out on dessert, it was still a pleasant experience to explore the place. We were informed that we would receive a 10% discount if we paid in cash, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. We completely forgot to inquire about it when settling the bill. It would have been a nice little bonus, but we'll remember for next time. On another note, we noticed they have a private party area available for around $700. Might be worth considering for future events. Our waiter was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our meal, although it would have been even better if he had remembered the promised discount. All in all, it was a nice outing to Sugar Factory, and we enjoyed our meal despite missing out on dessert. Maybe next time we'll save some room for a sweet treat!

Yelp
We've had the Sugar Factory on our list for quite a while, and this week we made it happen. My niece was in town visiting so I decided to take her for a fun girls day out. To my surprise we walked in to an empty place. Besides a few people at the bar it was empty. The location is beautiful. From the chandeliers to the seating I didn't know where to look first. I loved they there were also so many instagram worthy photo spots inside. I see it being a lot harder when busy, but the cute swing near the entrance and the walls with quotes made my nieces day. She's only 10 so we decided to share a drink because they are massive and expensive. There is no way we could each drink one alone. Thank goodness I made that decision because we barely could finish it lol. We both also decided on the club sandwich; hers with onion rings and mine fries. Our server while friendly seemed a bit bored and wasn't as present as she could've been considering it was so empty. Our food came out pretty quick and looked great. The fries were crispy. The portions are pretty huge. While I was able to finish most of mine she could not so keep that in mind if taking someone younger. All in all I'd come again. The drink was tasty and the experience was fun. It was very cool to watch the drink smoke and bubble when poured. My niece was mesmerized. Prices are pretty steep but n a lot of items, but again you're paying for the experience for sure.

Yelp
Sugar factory is very appealing to the eye just based off of their decorations. Inside is very clean and placement of tables are not over crowding. Service was great and all staff members we encountered during our visit were friendly. The main reason for the drop in stars is due to the quality of the food and the price of the food. Also an overwhelming options to the menu (this could be a good and bad thing). We ordered three different plates and all with the exception of the burger the food was not of quality and hard to finish. This type of environment is more known for their over the top drinks which are really "photo/video friendly". Also when you purchase the birthday sundaes it comes with a good amount of ice cream to share and they have staff sing to you! It's a fun environment but if the quality of the food was better I could see this place being a hit.

Yelp
Second time in, probably my last. Had a reservation for a party of 12 last night at 6:30 for my nephews birthday/graduation. Making the reservation is a whole other story, good luck. No one answers the phone, ever. I submitted an online request for a reservation and I am still waiting for that response. We were seated promptly (only 2 other tables in the restaurant). However, we had to ask for another table to be added in order to be comfortable -- there wasn't enough chair space otherwise. Our server was pretty attentive, I wish I remembered her name, it sounds something like Amalfia? She promptly informed us that there were only 12 burgers left in the restaurant and other tables were ordering so if we wanted a burger we better get on it. This is where it went downhill, we saw 1 entree come out relatively fast and thought, "wow, that's awesome".Well after that they shortly trickled out every 10-20 minutes. 12 dinners, one by one. By the time the last person received their food, everyone else was finished. I absolutely HATE that. What's the point of going out to eat with a party? I would maybe give some grace if the restaurant was slammed, however at this point we were the only table eating. Our server did acknowledge the fact that the food took way too long so she brought out some drinks for the table on the house, which was nice of her. We ordered the half-size mega sundae (I can't remember the name). That was the highlight. The kids loved the show they provide with it. I don't recall seeing anywhere on the menu about gratuity already being included. Our server split up the checks with those handheld terminals and told one end of the table that gratuity was already included. I paid cash and never received that message so essentially I double tipped. Shame on me for not realizing the amount on the little tiny screen seemed higher than it should have been. I just wanted to get out of there. Learn from my mistake. They also add a charge for using a credit card. The entire restaurant can use a deep cleaning, I left there feeling so hot and filthy. Will anything change? Doubt it. Pretty much the same experience from my first visit to this one and there have been 9 months in between. I don't understand how this restaurant stays open?

Yelp
Linda was such a vibe !! She made the environment feel so safe to have fun and the service was on TEN ! I would recommend this place in a heart beat !

Yelp
This is such a cute restaurant with a little candy store inside. The menu is on the more expensive side but definitely worth the experience. The staff was super nice. The little shop was unmanned, but it was not a high v traffic time. Our server was attentive to us. The drinks look amazing and everything we had was delish!

Yelp
Stopped in for brunch for my daughter's birthday, just the two of us. There were hardly any people there yet somehow the service sucked. Smelt like sewer when at walked in so we asked for a table on the patio. We arrived early, I asked if they could seat us know even though we arrived early and the girl up front acted confused. She asked me 4 times what time my reservation was and I kept saying noon. 5 th time she asked me very slow what time my reservation was for " like 1, 2,3?" I said "noon as in 12". LOL. Honestly we should've just left but my daughter really wanted to go for her birthday. So we were sat on the patio. Quiet. But there was food all over the floor, napkins on chairs and floor, tables not bussed, and the seat cushions were FILTHY!!!! Fast forward, 30 minutes later our waiter finally came and we ordered drinks. Another 40 min later he came back to take our order. I've never waited so long to order drinks or lunch it was insane! 20 min later waiter comes back out to tell my daughter they didn't have bananas to make her French toast. By the time the food came we ate two bites and again after waiting another 30 min for the waiter to come back we asked for the bill. Bottom line, the food SUCKED!!!! Service was even worse. And we walked away with a $118 bill for myself and my teen daughter to have a shitty brunch. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

Yelp
Perfect place for little girls who love pink and dream of getting diabetes... as the name suggests.... sugar galore. What I don't understand is why thermostat inside the restaurant was set at 85 and manager refused to turn it down. We sweated... Food and drinks were ok, nothing special but overpriced. Tiniest tacos I have ever seen! And then came the surprise: 3.5 % " restaurant fee" was added to the bill. Apparently for the pleasure of dining next to the stadium. Oh well, not coming back anyway

Yelp
Had to try the famous Sugar Factory. First, ITS A VIBE!!! You just take photos at this place. It is kinda loud, so I wouldn't say a romantic place. It's definitely fun. The server we had was amazing. Gave great recommendation & I just love when they talk to you just like a normal person. I had a steak sandwich. It was honestly so good. Had great flavor, the bun was nice and toasty, and I was pleasantly surprised. I had a drink & honestly this is where they stand out. Their drinks are so fun, so good, and picture worthy. There are so many options and they really ate high quality drinks. I will say what I didn't love was $30 for one drink, but the experience was fun to do once.

Yelp
I rate this a 4 star because you have to know what you're getting into when you go here...it's a theme spot...the theme is sweets/candy/sugary treats. Having said that...it nails the theme - from the vibe to the decor to the candy store to the drinks! We went on a Monday at lunch and it was dead, ordered the rainbow sliders - so fun! The specialty drinks are $39 but are big enough for 2 people and presentation is pretty spectacular. Candy store is fun too! Food not bad at all, service great!

Yelp
Came for my daughter's birthday and we had a great time. I ordered the Spicy Penne Pasta a la vodka, and it was very flavorful. The chicken on this was definitely reminiscent to a chicken Parmesan. This was a plate for two. The drinks were very Cool and you'll definitely pay for it. Our waitress Nicole killed it also with awesome attentiveness and good vibes!

Bryan J.

Yelp
Fun drinks and desserts, but still overpriced. Meals are mediocre at best and way overpriced... $20 burger that was unseasoned, dry, and slapped together. Shocked at how dirty the floors were throughout the dining area. Dirty furniture, various wall damage, chair was falling apart, lit wall decor partially burned out, random tv not working. At least restrooms were moderately clean. Baffling since this place is all about the ambiance, visuals, photo ops, etc. Our server was great and the others all seemed good too.
google avatar

Fiorella M.

Yelp
Okay, so.... Food- okay- not worth the prices. Definitely nothing out of the ordinary. The hot coca was okay too. Again, nothing out of this world. Service was good! Ambiance- good too, great decos.
google avatar

Jerry B.

Yelp
Right off the bat, I am giving this 1 star based on customer service alone as we never got to eat here. Food, unknown. Ambiance, unknown. Service... Went on a Tuesday and they said there was a wait. Ok, we will wait. Thirty minutes later, we will be closed by the time you would be able to get in so please come back some other time. Went on a Thursday, May 23. We have an online reservation at 9:15. They are open until 11. We went to check in at 9 o'clock, and the doors are all locked. There are people inside. And they come out and tell us it is a private party. We say OK, but we assume that you must be open at 9:15 so we go and sit. Five minutes later they cancel our electronic reservation with no information, apology or notification. We saw lots of other people walk up open the doors look at their watches and say they have reservations. Nobody even came to the door to explain. Just kept on doing their jobs inside, but clearly not well as all the tables had food all over them used plates and the entire location looked dirty. So sugar factory. Get your stuff figured out and maybe people will come to your restaurant. Otherwise, you can expect the same feet as the other restaurants that have attempted to be in that location.
google avatar

Ingrid M.

Yelp
The 3 stars are for the decor and Dj. The staff all around were uninterested in their jobs. The food-mediocre.
google avatar

Yelp
Wanted to check them out for my birthday. Definitely overrated. It took forever to be greeted once seated. The manager actually had to come over and talk to us about the staff's slowness. The waitress was very sweet once she came over and helped us. Food was good especially the rainbow burgers. The drinks are a bit pricey 30 and 40 a goblet but they do taste good and are fun. Inside is more like a small banquet hall and when staff is about to sing for a birthday guest make sure your chair is pulled in because they run by you full speed with drinks and deserts in their hands Not sure I'd go back but it was cool to check them out. Disappointed they ran out of little ducks that go with the rainbow burgers
google avatar

Eliana B.

Yelp
Most of the food my family ordered wasn't available. The menu is huge, so you expect a level, or should expect a level of dining that's higher than a local McDonald's. Drinks were spilt on customers next to us, our food was "forgotten" and what did come to the table we packed up and paid for. Will never be back, it's run down, these types of places always do when there isn't a clear management system. (We asked for a manager and got the bartender on the phone from a waitress.) Don't go here. Ambiance/restaurant is cute for pictures and that's all.
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
I do think Sugar Factory needs to regroup, go back to drawing board, and have a solid plan of action for a successful restaurant because what they have now ain't gonna work. Everyone's flying by the seed of their pants and it shows. Our experience was only endured because we had amazing company, presents to open, conversations to share. The potential of this place being really awesome is a long road ahead. Will I be back? No. Was the food good? Also no.
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
Long day hot day!!! We waited twenty 2 long minutes and hot in this restaurant. The thermostat said 86 degrees. Bartender took so long to even give us water around 8 minutes we sat at the Bar. Just to long to wait for. A drink 22 minutes was not cool so we asked for the ice cream tab watery salsa with stale chips not so good of an experience!! And they weren't even busy ..
google avatar

Nicole B.

Yelp
I came here for drinks...I left with $45 less dollars (from 1 drink), no buzz and an unfortunate headache from inhaling dry ice. The drinks are cool looking and girly for sure. Is it worth the hype or price? No. My drink was all ice and candy. Furthermore, the dry ice they put in the drink for my friend and I was practically a hazard because it kept shooting up our noses when we tried to sip the drink. The restaurant itself looks very cute and Barbiesque but it is not worth it.

Yelp
We went a little fancy & had Insta-funfor two of our Littles birthdays! Kids absolutely loved it especially the big candy filled drinks & deliciously generous ice cream scoops! It's so pretty in pink and great for special occasions with the fam... and especially the girls. Bachelorette party? MmHmm! Girls Day? OH yes! Birthdays & Graduations? Yep! It's also right in the heart of Westgate so after a big meal, it's fun to walk around and explore what else is around! We ordered a few drinks and some wings & a bowl of spaghetti! Honestly, it was all delicious but it is expensive. Something we would definitely indulge in a few times a year for special occasions but not a regular place! The decor is darling though... so much pink, awesome lighting, big & clean spaces staff and service were really great. They let us just eat & chill... not rushing over to see if we wanted more, nor did it feel like we were being rushed out. We did make reservations and appreciate the time to enjoy the experience! Oh and that iced coffee... with a waffle on top! Straight !

Yelp
Stopped here for a late night dessert spot. Was pleased to see the large dining space inside and outside, and it was fun to see the whimsical life size candy decor. Sat at the bar for our sweets, most of the counter space was sticky and dirty. Ordered the Rainbow Brite milkshake, it was great for pho-op, but for $19 and a very watery milkshake not worth the hype.

Kelly A.

Yelp
Food was horrible and over priced. I ordered veggie tacos. They were smaller than a street taco, and literally came with two teaspoons of refied beans that came out of a can. The Spanish rice was definitely the kind you get at the grocery store that comes in a bag and you just microwave it for 2 min. Yuk. One margarita called pretty in pink was $20, and was supposed to "change colors before your eyes". I asked the waiter how I make it change colors and he said oh I should have told you we ran out of the stuff to make it change colors. I am pretty sure that was the whole reason the 120z margarita was $20 to began with. He didn't care. Long story short don't waist your time or money.

Yelp
If you enjoy unique and amazing flavors served by the most incredible people ever, you need to experience the ambiance and energy of the Sugar Factory !! Our server Ta'ki J was the best EVER and needs a raise! It was a special evening with our grandson celebrating his birthday and was perfect in every way! The decor is beautiful and the candy store cannot be missed! The Flaming Hot Cheeto burger was a big hit and the fried Oreo milk shake was incredible!

Yelp
Went to the one in Vegas so happy they made one here. The aesthetic is cool. It is expensive. Everything is about $20. We got one of those big drinks, the Miami tropical punch. 2 or more people could definitely drink 1! You can also get it without alcohol! Any drink! We got the fried macaroni cheese pops. They were good. But they only give u 3. I got a burger and asked for well done and it was pink inside. The fries are good. My sister got the Buffalo chicken and it was good.

Yelp
I have always wanted to check this place out because it looks like a lot of fun. I was so excited when I found out that Arizona was finally going to get one so I quickly made a reservation online. Booking online was easy and it was set for Saturday at 6:30pm. The day came and of course traffic was super bad. It was a 45 minute drive from us but with all the traffic it added like an extra 30 min. I called to let them know I was running late and the hostess was soooo friendly and without hesitation bumped our reservation back to 7pm. Phewwww! We arrived at 6:52 and she kindly checked us in. We were seated at one of the tables that was towards the font by the main door. The waitress came over right away and she was very friendly and introduced herself. There were a bunch of birthdays being celebrated so it was pretty louddddd. The menu is pretty big and there is an assortment of drinks, food, and desserts. It can be quite overwhelming. I was not worried though because I had already studied the menu beforehand and I knew what I wanted. I had my eyes set on the Keven Hart Peach Lemonade gauntlet. No alcohol of course because I was driving. My sister and friend decided they were going to share an alcoholic gauntlet and they wanted a watermelon flavored one. We also ordered one spinach and artichoke dip to share and I had the brick chicken with mashed potatoes. The waitress came and took our orders. I ordered first and she said the Kevin Hart Peach drink was not available and that they had been out of it for some time so I ended up getting a different peach one... When I asked for the chicken, she said "let me check if we have it." Fortunately, they did. My friend ordered the watermelon flavored gauntlet and again the waitress said that they were "out of watermelon." The dip was in stock though, yay. The food and drinks took a while to come out. We waited about 30 minutes for just two drinks and about 40 minutes for our food. We kept chugging the free water since we were thirsty.. Our neighbors ordered the $150.00 sundae so we got to witness the funny - hype dance they do when it is ordered. The little girls face was so happy when she saw them performing for her, it was quite entertaining and probably a memorable experience for her. The drinks came out first. Mine turned out to be really good even though it was not what I wanted.. It was cold, sweet, sugary, and it had the perfect amount of fizz. My friend and sister said they couldn't really taste the alcohol in theirs and that it tasted like a plain mountain dew. They did not care for theirs. The dip was good and it came with a plate full of colorful chips - they were not stingy. The chicken was not my fave. It was lukewarm and a little chewy. The outside had a weird texture to it. The mashed potatoes were pretty good but again they were also lukewarm. Service was good. Our waitress did her best to come around as she was checking up on other customers. The gift shop is sad and has nothing worth buying as it was pretty empty. So not worth the time. They should have some cute Arizona Sugar Factory merch but all I saw was overpriced candy. One of the neon signs was already malfunctioning and on the word "love" only the LO were lit up - thus ruining pictures. Overall, I would've liked if they had every drink listed on their menu available for purchase. Why have a massive menu when only a select items are in stock? I wonder what other menu items they were out of?.... Oh and the outside needs a little more color imo. It's too dull and it looks like it's just a warehouse with a random duck in the front. This place has potential to be great but unfortunately it was not a great visit for us..

Yelp
Stopped in before a concert for dessert and should've known better. Even after taking seats at the bar it took a while to get service. Only ordered a piece of cheesecake and 15 minutes later recieved a slice that was frozen solid. Had to go find the waiter to let him know and all he had to say was sorry as he continued his conversation with another waiter. I'm guessing this is why it was the only restaurant that wasn't packed right before a Luke Combs show. Go somewhere else if you're in this location.

Yelp
Happy Mother's Day everyone! So I just want to start by saying that I was really looking forward to experiencing Sugar Factory for the first time! The menu looks great and love the aesthetic of the restaurant! The siblings and I agreed to take our mother for Mother's Day brunch. I did attempt to make a reservation the day before but couldn't due to it being booked! Perfectly understandable due to it being a holiday so we decided just to take our chances and do a walk in. When we arrived today, I attempted to get us a table but was informed that they only took reservations and were fully booked. I thanked them and we made our way out to find another restaurant. While leaving my sister managed to book a reservation at Sugar Factory outside seating for 11 am through the website. Perfect, no problems! We arrived at 11 am to get seated. Sugar Factory employees Alaze and Maria were the ones to greet us at the entrance. My sister went ahead to report our reservation but was told that she was not on the list. My sister showed them the confirmation number for our reservation and was told that it was invalid due to it not being reserved 24 hours in advance. If that was the case, why did their website not mention this and allow us to confirm seating? If there really is some policy for 24 hour confirmation, the company should make sure all tech is aligned with their guidelines. Luckily, my sister caught a glimpse of the tablet they used and she saw her name on the list. She pointed it out to the ladies. At this point I could tell they were being irate and passive aggressive although we were kind and understanding. It's Mother's Day, who wants drama today?! Speaking to each other, Maria told Alaze that she needed to find a server for us. My mother caught Alaze rolling her eyes as she seated us lacking any friendly service. As we finally got seated, we determined that the vibe was off and even thought we wanted to try Sugar Factory we left. My mother and sister ended up talking to the Manager about the incident. He apologized and stated that everyone was stressed out due to the "high volume" of people even thought it was not busy like the surrounding restaurant. It was also not a good excuse to justify the rudeness and difficulties we experienced. Not sure if any coaching will happen but just wanted to add this review so that any new potential customers is aware. I hope they work on improving their customer service and reservation protocols so that new guest can have a better experience. My advice, please call in for any questions about reservations.

Yelp
Ok so let me preface this by saying this spot just opened in Glendale in the Westgate area...I think it's been open maybe a month so here are my thoughts. Just about everything needs work! My party and I visited on late Saturday night (10pm) after a show downtown. It was still super lively and pretty crowded. I did make a reservation on the way over just to ensure we could get in and I would recommend making a reservation because I can see this place becoming harder to get in IF they make the improvements I and probably many others are suggesting. So pros: - Checked in right away with friendly hostesses (they did ask if 8 had a reservation) - Very nice aesthetic, bright lights, lots of selfie opportunities - Friendly server - Huge made for 2 tasty alcoholic AND nonalcoholic versions drinks -Extensive menu with just about anything you can think of to include a brunch options -The choreographed dancing servers were really getting in! I really enjoyed this part A-LOT Now the Cons- Petty observations -but there were a number of un-bussed tables right in the front of the restaurant when you walk in - There is already a light out on one of the would be great selfie opportunity walls Problematic Observations- our server was super friendly but she immediately let me know they were out of 70% of the goblet alcohol drinks listed in the menuhuh? She was so serious There was only like 6 drinks available. I am not sure how this happened but not good. -Super SLOW getting drinks out to include water. I am going to say 40ish minutes...I mean we ordered food and it came out within 15-20 minutes and this is what the table ordered: Cheeseburger and Onion Rings, 2 orders of Chicken and Waffles(1 of them spicy chicken) loaded cheeseburger fries, 1 regular margarita, 3 goblet sized margaritas , 2 Strawberry a Peach Fuzz one. Cheeseburger and onion rings were given a thumbs up, the chicken was dry ...overcooked, cheeseburger fries not me ... reminded me of a Big Mac so if you like that then try it. We sent the fries back and ordered the regular loaded fries which were great! Drinks were good but took FoREVER to get them and maybe not as much alcohol as you would think ..more juice . They definitely push the huge sundae dessert which triggers the choreographed dances. It's huge!! I didn't even ask about it but was told the half size is $65 and they will do the dance...kinda felt like I being told about a lap dance at the strip club We declined, maybe another time. My husband and I individual bill was $78( loaded fries and goblet sized strawberry margarita) Lastly there is 17% service charge applies to ALL tickets regardless of party size ...it does actually say this if you look at their website but wow. So with all of this said, I would give them another 6 months or so to get it together and even then dine informed if prices are a concern.

Yelp
First time trying this place... first of all I'd like to say the customer service is good. The place looked very nice. The entertainment was fun to see when someone had a birthday and they would dance. The presentation of the overpriced drinks... the drinks were pretty good tbh. that's all that was nice about this place the food on the other hand WAY WAY WAY overpriced for decent tasting food. We did order fries with lots of stuff on top would've rather had the baconator fries from Wendy's. We got the sesame chicken thought it was going to be breaded but whatever also way to much veggies and not much chicken, but I would've rather had seasame chicken from Panda Express. For the fries and chicken it was like almost 50 dollars. Will I ever come back? Most likely not. Do I recommend it? Sure exp it yourself I guess

Yelp
My review is based on the management. The outside is fun and inviting with large lollies and pink trees. But when you walk in it feels like it is a haphazardly put together pop-up. We made reservations and had to wait because there was no one at the hostess stand to greet us. The menu was huge and we checked it out before we came and were all looking forward to a good lunch with fun drinks. But . . . That was not the case. We were told about everything they were out of, avocados, bacon, chicken, lemonade, Dr. Pepper , carnitas, birria, pink cotton candy for the "Pretty in Pink " drink my girls wanted, and the rubber ducks that come with rainbow sliders. The food that we did get had potential but lots of corners were cut, the turkey for the Club was like that of Subway and the sliders were just burgers cut in 1/4's that didn't fit the bun. Now for some GOOD. Our server Chris was great. They were horribly understaffed but he did really well considering everything. We felt so sorry for him because the server is the messenger for the managers and they totally understaffed for the day, and the Chefs didn't make their orders for the product that they would need for service. Great job Chris!!! You made our day!

Yelp
They have Food! Well, It's great to have something new. We wondered into Westgate not sure where we were going to have lunch. As we passed Sugar Factory, we noticed it had opened! Well, we were hungry and wanted lunch, but decided to stick our heads in the door to see what the place is about. We were greeted by a pleasant young lady at the front counter. We told her that we were just looking and were going to have lunch somewhere first. We she pulled out a menu and said "we are serving brunch right now." Food at a sweet shop? Who knew! Okay, we'll give it a go! The construction is still incomplete. We were told that it was a soft opening and could see a candy store and soda fountain still under construction. Everything else seemed to be working well. As we were led to our seats, we saw drinks that were more beautiful than any I had ever seen before. The place looks really fun and had Disney Landish music playing in the background. All of the colorful drinks with dry ice bubbling out of the top them. Yum! They have a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ice cream and much more! There were also sliders in all the colors of the rainbow! If Willy Wonka made burgers, they would look just like these! The only surprise was that many of the non-alcoholic drinks were in the $30-$40.00 range. I was surprised that the alcoholic drinks were significantly cheaper. Okay, twist my arm! So, we ordered something to eat. The brunch menu was really nice. I ordered the steak sandwich (Philly) and my wife had one of their signature burgers. Both were excellent! The Philly was one of the best that I've had in a while. It had thin strips of beef, onions, mushrooms and provolone on a really good roll. Yum! The burger was juicy and was topped with fried onions. Also yum! My wife also commented on how good the fries were. Not bad... I am sorry to say that we did not try the sweets. But, their menu is comprehensive, the food is great and the staff is friendly. Yes, we will be back! Sugar Factory is a must try.

Yelp
My friends and I came here for a birthday celebration. Upon walking in, I felt like a kid again. The atmosphere just makes you feel happy automatically. We sat in the VIP room and were totally given the VIP treatment from the staff. Our server, Ta'ki was awesome! He took very good care of us and the birthday girl. The drinks, although expensive, were worth every penny. They were not only super cute, they were also tasty. For food, I had the shrimp pasta and added a Lobster tail. The lobster tail was huge. I highly recommend you add on a lobster tail to your order. Please go visit. You will not regret it!

Yelp
I'm so glad we didn't end up sitting down & wasting my money here! I was really looking forward to having lunch with my 5 year old because of the desserts. We walked in around 1:30pm, mind you the restaurant was nearly half empty! The hostess in front named Gigi asked if we had reservations, I said no just walk ins. She proceeds to say we might not get seated because they're fully booked with reservations. Mind you, it's literally half empty! She waits for the other hostess named Charisma, whatever her name was She said there was nothing available, I asked her if I could leave my information & have them call me if there's a cancellation. She said no because she said the reservations have all confirmed So I go online, check the reservations & there's a 2pm available! I ask for the manager & he goes Open table over books them & I might not be on their list but indeed I was on the list on his iPad smh! They had the WORST customer service & I've never had any issues with Open table. The point was, the hostess Charisma lied and said that they confirmed all reservations & there was nothing available!! I do want to commend the lady named Dulce at the pastry/candy section! She was very understanding and empathetic of our situation. She needs a raise because she was the ONLY one that had real customer service!!

Yelp
Ta"ki, you are fabulous and awesome! Thank you for all your recommendations and for being so attentive. We experienced the best service and I was so pleasantly surprised with how delicious most of their entree selections and drinks were. Staff were very welcoming from the moment we enter this brightly lit, colorful and magical venue. Enjoy some festive photo backdrops, too. We ordered a couple shakes: the Carnival (something with fried oreos and silver dollar pancakes) and their Oreo Madness. Both shakes were perfectly sweet, as long as you're someone with a sweet tooth like our table was, we enjoyed our shakes. We shared each shake easily with three people, along with our entrees. I tried a few of their appetizers with the sampler, and that selection may have been the least impressive if I had to pick one. Our table also ordered the Cajun chicken penne pasta, the flamin hot Cheetos angus burger with fries, and Brooklyn loaded fries (pepperoni, mozzarella, marinara sauce) That dish was a pleasant surprise with how delicious and cheesy it was. I'd definitely suggest requesting light on the marinara sauce, or ask for the marinara on the side since the only complaint was how soggy the fries got. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dishes. We shared everything, too, among 5 of us. It's definitely a great venue for special occasions, or holiday get-togethers as we had with family. It's pricey, but you could easily share every plate, just as we had. If I'd had a bigger stomach, I'd have wanted to try more from their menu. Just means I get to return to try more from their fun drink selections on the next visits. I checked out the candy store in hopes of finding some lollipops and their rhinestone accessories to add to my collection, but inventory seemed sparse. Their candy store beside the dining room looks a bit empty, even the candy bins, compared to the other candy store a few venues away (near Yard House). I'd rather venture over there for some sweet treats because here, it seemed more a photo gallery of celebrity visitors on their walls.

Yelp
Food was excellent.. Atmosphere was relaxed and fun. The staff was on excellent as well. Food was awesome. The kids loved and enjoyed their meal. I had the wing sampler plater. Wings were nice, crispy, and flavorful(forgot pic). And fries were nice and crispy as well.

Yelp
I would have given them a less but our waitress was really great at recommending food to us, but you could tell they were under staffed that day. The place is really pretty, great for photo opts. We had a reservation and we still had to wait like an hour & half to be seated because the tables weren't cleared out. It looked like there was only one guy bussing tables for the whole place. The front of the place was uncomfortably warm compared to going to the back of the restaurant (in the vip section) where the A/c was in full blast. The outside felt cooler than the inside, which says something. Once we were seated it took a while before our waitress came by with waters, we had to ask to replace one of the cups since there was something in the water. The waitress kept it real with us with the food which we were happy about since we almost ordered stuff she said would get sent back often. She was really nice.

Yelp
Just celebrated a Birthday here tonight & had such a wonderful time. Our server was fantastic (forgot his name, he had red hair) he was always checking up on us and explained the menu as well. The restaurant itself was beautiful, great photo ops & family oriented as well. We ordered the half Kong and it definitely made the experience even better with the dance the server did! Thank you all

Yelp
Great spot to stop for a quick drink. Huge drink selection, wanted to try them all. The bartender kept disappearing, and we were the only ones sitting at the bar. I got the coconut cream pie and it is my favorite drink.

Yelp
We went here today for my daughter's 14th birthday, because it's where she wanted to go. Very cute decor with lots of photo ops, good service, and the desserts were cute. BUT it is insanely EXPENSIVE!! We got 2 desserts to split between 4 people and one coffee = $68!!! In addition to the elevated prices, the tax, and the tip, there is a "restaurant fee", whatever that is! We won't be going back. It was a "been there, done that" kind of experience! I don't know how all of the people there when we were are able to afford the $39 drinks, dinner, AND dessert!

Yelp
My partner and I came here after the bengals game on Sunday. It was my first time to sugar factory and it was a fun experience! The music was poppin, the food was delicious and great portions, and our waiter, Bryan was amazing! He was so fun and sweet and gave great recommendations as their menu is extensive. I will say don't come here if you don't want to spend too much money. This place is very pricey. There were lots of birthday celebrations here and they sing and have fun dances! Food/Drink Review: Watermelon Margarita: This was a yummy drink, definitely on the sweet side and barely tasted any alcohol. I probably wouldn't order it again. Sour apple martini: super delicious and comes with a lollipop and pop rocks on the rim Chicken wing sampler: BOMB. Their wings are a great size and have the perfect crisp to them. All great flavors and I love that the buffalo wasn't too spicy. It comes with honey mustard and ranch dipping sauces. Definitely a good portion for sharing. Chicken penne Alfredo: super great flavor and great portion. Sauce was a little too watery. Signature sugar factory burger: I got mine without the onions and it was phenomenal. Meat cooked to perfection and the cheese melted perfectly. It comes with a side of fries. Yummy dinner!

Yelp
I'm kinda bit disappointed but I already know that this place will suck, first of, the menu is too much to complicated and small to read, you need a magnifying glass to see the menu, they need to simplify it, second the food sucks, it's not good, I ordered the fish tacos, with rice that is so dry and boring, we waited a while to get our food, but the chandelier and ambience looks great to look at while waiting, unless you're really hungry, I didn't try any deserts but I see people ordered desserts looks disappointed, sorry but I will never come back here again, it's too bad because it looks really pretty and cute from the outside and inside but at the end of the day, the food has to be good.

Yelp
Absolute garbage service. Came in for my son's birthday and it took over 10 minutes to even be asked what to drink. There were THREE other tables and it took over 45 minutes to get our food. Brunch was disgusting. Kids wouldn't eat the waffles because of how gross they were. These were covered in Nutella and whipped cream and still wouldn't eat them. Oh and they didn't have pancakes or coffee? Went to the manager to ask where our kids food was since the adults got their food and it was almost 10 minutes for the kids waffles and he said he'd check but did not offer even an apology. Never came to check in either. To the GM- replace your management staff. Whoever closed last night didn't set this morning group up for success. Thank you sugar factory for the worst birthday experience. Skip this place for brunch every time.

Yelp
just no... We have it a chance but made a reservation and got sat on time. After that, well it was a mess! Menus had gunk on them and the plates on the table were dirty... took FOREVER to get anything. took over an hour to order food and it came out wrong... who's ever had a Benedict without Hollandaise?!? most of the food is obviously frozen and just fried or heated on a flat top nothing was fresh. it was bad and expensive... we were there for over 2 hours! just skip

Yelp
Our experience at this location was interesting. There was no host that day, so we waited an extended amount of time to be sat despite having reservations. This was also one of the longest times I've ever had to wait on someone to come to our table and offer water while we waited. I don't blame any of the servers, though. Our server was Joseph and he was amazing! Joseph was very kind and patient, and I saw him doing everything he could to make sure all his tables had what they needed despite how hectic the day seemed with low staff and no support on the floor from leadership. The food was good, the restaurant has a pretty aesthetic, and the location is great inside of Westgate: however, I am disappointed that it seemed like the servers were running the floor all by themselves on a Monday holiday when many people go out to eat and shop in that area. Next time, I hope management does better due diligence so their staff aren't burning out and overworking themselves.

Yelp
Typically I don't write reviews... Food was good customer service was horrible. Gave us a cup with only ice and the other waters with water, did not refill. Did not smile at us once. Very bland and made the experience extremely mediocre at best. Worker did not tell us her name, she has a nose piercing and curly hair. Restaurant was empty and she couldn't give us any customer service at all.

Yelp
Great experience! Chris was amazing! The vibe was fun and relaxing:) and the food was very good! The spinach artichoke was chefs kiss!!
