On 8/4/2025 Everything about this place was amazing. I went with 12 others so we were a pretty big group and only 2 out of 13 meals were not to satisfaction which they ordered the same meal chicken and waffles the chicken was over cooked and the waffles were extremely rubbery other then that everything else was perfection and it was all of our first time here definitely coming back my family loved it.. FYI manager did take care of us for the inconvenience, and here are some pictures of our meals...

From start to finish, our dining experience was outstanding, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible server, Nachoo. He went above and beyond to make sure our group felt welcomed and well taken care of. His friendly demeanor, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm made such a positive impression on all of us. We had a great time celebrating a friend’s birthday! 🎁 They made her feel so special, they even played a song to cheer her on when they brought out our dessert! So worth it. The entire staff was just as impressive — warm, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the service was seamless and welcoming. I truly can’t say enough good things about this place. If you're looking for an exceptional meal paired with top-tier service, I highly recommend dining here — and if you're lucky enough to have Nachoo as your server, you're in for a treat!

This is somewhat of a two part review, so bear with me. Personally, I did not enjoy the experience as much for the amount of money MY meal, which was chicken and waffles. I received a small flat waffle and five chicken strips, which tasted like they came out of a TV dinner box. The restaurant is very cold, so take an extra jacket or sweater if you go to dine. The vibe of the restaurant changes depending on what’s going on. If there are a series of birthdays, then the atmosphere becomes electric. If you have an engaging server, that also helps with the atmosphere. I do not recommend this place for a date night, but that’s just me. Now, my FAMILY absolutely loved the place. The kids had the burgers and Alfredo meals, while my wife loved the signature club. The signature sundaes and milkshakes, which I think is the Sugar Factory’s claim to fame, did live up to the hype. Overall, we did have a good time and the manager did stop to speak with us. Maybe this was just an off night for the C&W or maybe I was grumpy because I was cold. This was our second trip to this location and we will return because the family loves it and in the end, that is all that matters for me.

Google
I don’t recommend if you are looking for a “normal” meal experience. We are here out of convenience of location and only 1 out of 4 of us left happy. The food is either way over “artsy” or way underrated for the price. My grilled cheese was less cheese more bread. The burger was way too much cheese less bread. Go only for the overpriced drinks, eat somewhere else.

Google
Resturant with an emphasis on fancy deserts and shakes. They play loud DJ music and there were about 6 people celebrating their birthday when we went. The deserts are large and fancy, I am not sure where else you can find deserts like this. They also have food. It is about $13 and up for shakes and our banana split for 2 people was $21, but they were all very big. I highly recommend giving this place a try especially for special occasions.

I came to Sugar Factory for dinner with my family on a Wednesday evening while on vacation. We made a reservation ahead of time and requested the patio. When we arrived, they tried to seat us inside but we corrected them and they brought us to the patio. The music out there is VERY loud, just as it is inside. We ordered the rainbow sliders, two Super Cheesy Burgers, two Tie Dye milkshakes and a Cookie Jar milkshake. Our server was pleasant. The food was decent, but the milkshakes were excellent! Side note- the bathrooms are pretty gross, IMO. Overall, overpriced for the hype.

I have been wanting to go here for years after hearing so many good reviews. I was wildly disappointed. There was only 2 of us, We went July 3rd for lunch. It was very slow in there, lots of empty tables. We waited for the host for over 5 mins, with staff walking by us numerous times without even being greeted. The manager finally came over and sat us. The floors were so slick, felt like the back of a McDonalds. The tables and chairs felt the same, slick to the touch and just gross feeling. The music is load and it’s very hard to hear inside. There was many tables that were cleared but not even cleaned and the whole hour we were there the same tables were still dirty when we left. Food on the floor in the walkways as well. Just overall seemed dirty and unkept. The menu is veryyyy small print and lots of options but the small print makes it really hard to read each item. Waited another 15 or so mins for the waiter to come over. I ordered a mocha iced coffee, we split the pulled pork loaded fries and the rainbow burgers. Iced coffee was good but was about 1 cup of coffee and the rest of the glass was filled with whip cream. The rainbow burgers were dry, bland, and the buns itself were stale. We didn’t even finish all 5 they were gross. Then we got the wrong loaded fries, they gave us the pizza loaded fries. We had waited so long and I was so put off by everything I didn’t bother to send them back, we just ate it. They were good but not worth the price. Overall the food is not worth the price at all. The candy shop side had almost no candy in it. They had the powder candy dispenser, and a small section of the bag your own, and then some random boxed candy throughout. If we ever come back it would be just for desserts and no food. Very disappointing experience!!

Today, my family and I had the opportunity to visit The Sugarfactory for the first time. My daughter chose this place to have her seven year old birthday dinner. First, as soon as we walked in, we were informed by the hostest that they were completely booked and had no more availability. After we walked away from the service desk, we checked online and was able to secure a reservation for 7 pm via open table. Upon returning at 7pm, we were checked in but weren't seated until approximately 8:07. While waiting, we stood in the candy factory where we witnessed one of the waitresses drop a piece of the cookie from their cookie shake onto the dirty countertop. Immediately after dropping the cookie without hesitation, she quickly picked it up and placed it back on top of the shake. (It should be noted that the same counter was touched by multiple servers and guests in the immediate area.) We also noticed that the shevles in the candy factory were scarce. When I went to use the mens restroom, I noticed that the sign on the door had been torn off. Upon entering the restroom, I noticed their lack of care and cleanliness. See pictures for further. When our food finally came out, it was relatively quick. We ordered the sampler for $30, rainbow sliders $27, loaded buffalo fries $22, and penne Alfredo $20. To be completely honest, we were displeased by the quality and taste of all the food. Sampler 1/10: Their housemade chicken tenders were extremely salty. The onion rings were also prepared in the same or similar salty batter and greasy. The wings were large and chewy. The fried mac and cheese pops were oily and lacked flavor. Sliders 3/10: These were decent with the burger sauce on them. The only issue with them was that the dye used to colorize the buns made your mouth/lips/teeth colorful. Loaded fries 2/10: The fries were topped with cheese sauce, green onions, ranch, and chopped buffalo chicken. The issue here was that this contained the same salty housemade chicken tenders. Alferdo 2/10: The Alfredo sauce lacked flavor and had a watery consistency. The noodles were on the drier side. See pictures I also ordered a butterfinger milkshake but immediately found out that the flavors were subpar. The ice cream quality seems to be the problem with this item. I did not enjoy this and requested it to be returned after two sips 1/10. Our overall experience here was a huge letdown 3/10. I would not recommend this restaurant to everyone seeking good ,flavorful, quality food. This restaurant is all atmosphere and hype! These three points are being awarded based on the exquisite desserts, energy of staff during the celebrations, and the overall atmosphere.

Yelp
This is a very lively place to come for brunch as me and my family did. It was Mother's Day and they were offering a free non alcoholic pina colada for all moms which was great. I was a little disappointed that their menu was limited compared to the menu that was online for other locations because there were items I was craving that this location didn't have. I got the smores nutella waffle and my husband got the strawberry cheesecake french toast. The presentation was great as my eyes really ate first. My kids shared the chocolate chip pancakes. It was a lot of food except for the pancakes. The pieces were very thin and not fluffy. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is energetic even in the daytime. They have some unique and crave-able food. I would come back here and try out some of the other desserts.

Yelp
Basic food for prime steakhouse prices. It's loud and overhyped. The floor was sticky and I was disappointed in the food. Kids will like because of the environment but Chilis and Applebees level food.

Yelp
Sugar factory Orlando is located in icon Park so there's plenty of parking cause they have a parking garage on one side of the park and complementary valet on the other side This place is usually very busy so if you have the option to book a reservation, you should definitely try to do so. They do play very loud music, especially for birthdays. This is definitely a trendy hip spot. We tried the sip of joy Santa hot chocolate. It was very delicious. Definitely enough for two people to enjoy. Also got to try the blue chicken sliders. It has been a couple days since we went and definitely will turn everything blue from your teeth and tongue to everything. Service can definitely be hit and miss depending on the day you go the manager which I believe he told me his name was Dayv took our order said us made sure we had everything we need definitely was polite and I knew how to get the job done

Yelp
I have been all over the US to several Sugar Factory locations and this was over all the best experience yet mostly thanks to our server Deon!!!! He was the life of the party. So on point with everything we needed in super sonic speed!! He was so much fun and made my nephew birthday one to remember!!! The food and drinks were good to but if u want to have the best experience ASK FOR DEON!!!!!

Yelp
This place is a mess. Overpriced, over hyped, sub par food. Zero ambiance, it feels like a grimy cafeteria, I had a salad that was good, but not worth $21 & a ridiculously expensive drink. Our waitress was a doll but it took FOREVER to get our bills & check out, as they were all mixed up. You couldn't pay me to go here again

Yelp
Not the experience it's worked up to be... Service: We waited a good 8-10m to be sat. Only a Bartender present and an employee at the candy counter but she was too busy hugging the FedEx delivery person to see us. The host eventually came out and got us our table only to be our server too. She was responsible for serving the 5 tables around us. Food: The server started by giving us a list of all the unavailable items...the milkshakes we ordered were fine. One had a brownie which was over dry. The colored mini burger meat were also very dry. We ordered a sampler platter and the mac n cheese balls were so flavorless. Facility: Humid temperature and quite dirty. The menus were worn and sticky. Trash outside and around restaurant. If the public bathrooms everyome sees are filthy, what does the kitchen look like?? Disgusted after using the restrooms!

Yelp
I've always wanted to try coming here and i'm so glad i did! We went here last weekend and it was really great! The music playing was good and really set the vibe for the place! The ocean margarita was really good, i definitely recommend this drink!! Everything came out really fast and fresh and both burgers were delicious!!

Yelp
Food was terrible but expensive. Service was awful and it wasn't even that busy for a Friday night. Our food came and we had no utensils or napkins. We ordered drinks but they never came yet were on the bill (they did remove but I had to point it out). The only thing worth the visit was the over the top milkshakes.

Yelp
I've been here a few times and it's always PACKED! Yesterday, I was surprised to see only 3 tables in the entire restaurant. I stopped only for a milkshake. We sat at a booth and it was super comfortable. Ordered the strawberry milkshake (old-fashioned style) and it was so good! Not overly sweet, but enough to share, and beautiful! We enjoyed our time here, they even had a photographer on site who took our picture and framed it! It was so cute, we had to buy it to take home. I had a nice, pleasant experience here and I'm sure it gets crazy when it's busy but I really enjoyed my time here. I'm glad we stopped by.

Yelp
What a cute place in the "hidden gem" of Icon Park! We went with another venue for lower-end milkshakes, but if you're looking for over-the-top, this is it! When they say "chocolate-dipped" glass, they really mean it! Cotton Candy machine right there behind the counter, for making to order. Seems a great venue for a special young lady birthday or other event. Super friendly staff! She let us take photos without pressuring us to stay, so Thank You for that!

Yelp
This place is in serious need of a renovation. All the chairs are falling apart and it just seemed run down. There were ants all over the candy in the front room. They charge $35 for rainbow sliders which is supposed to come with a rubber ducky. Turns out they have been out of them for over 2 months which I found out by reading previous reviews once we got home! I would not of bought them if I knew this. Bathroom was gross and the food was not worth $250 for lunch ( 3 children 2 adults). We are locals and wanted to try it out... I will never go back.

Yelp
We went for my granddaughters 14th birthday. The only positive thing about the entire experience was the music. The hostess barely spoke or understood English. The food and drinks were extremely over-priced. The womens restroom only has one stall which considering the number of customer's that were dining was inadequate at best. We ended up being charged for three of a dish that we'd ordered two of and since we asked them to box up our orders didn't realize their mistake until we were back at the resort we were staying at. Basically, $179 was wasted. Very disappointed and would not recommend anyone wasting their time nor money here.

Yelp
I've always wanted to try Sugar Factory but without the reservations and we were able to do it here at the location in Icon Park. They advertise crepes and steaks all on their banner so we went for dinner. Inside, you are greeted by a candy store. It wss cool and then you walk into the restaurant where you are seated. There wasn't a lot of people there yet and the aesthetics were definitely there. Waiter was nice and attentive. Every party is subject to 20% gratuity despite how many people are in your party so just FYI. We had no issues so that was no issue. A lady came by to take our pictures just to come back and give it to us for $20 each. I thought that was a bit tacky but gotta respect the hustle, I guess. Chicken fingers: 4/5, best thing there. That isn't saying a lot. They were huge and came with fries. Blue cheese bacon burger: 2/5, lacked flavor. Bread was too dry. Salmon: 4/5, it was good, came with mashed potatoes and asparagus that was burnt. Classic dessert: 3/5, strawberry was the best flavor out of the bunch. Chocolate ice-cream tasted like it had freezer burn. No crepes on menu and only steak was 8oz steak for a good chunk of money. Overall, overrated and overpriced. Once in a lifetime thing to do and you're done.

Yelp
The owner, big back male, very rude and inconsiderate. I had managers from "lower end companies" had a lot more manners towards customers. The food 0/0 it was terrible, never had anything that artificial. The ambiance wasn't too bad but it's a mess. Sticky floors. Flooded sinks & toilets I don't recommend this place to anyone, maybe try any other location?

Yelp
Okay the first time I went to the sugar factory was when they first opened in San Diego California. I went for one of daughter's friend birthday. I was so disappointed cuz I couldn't eat anything since I am celiac so it has to be gluten free. So when we were walking in the area. My self and my Austrian friend who have never been to one of these stores or restaurant I had to get in even though i knew I will not find anything to eat but I want her to enjoy the experience as we said to each other today is a day that we don't care what we eat even if we have sugar all day long. We walked in and got seated right away. The beautiful waitress came right away and I informed her with my allergies and that I think I can't eat anything. She said on yes you can have burger lettuce wrapped. I was like perfecto. Then she went to the kitchen and told me I take to the cook and he informed me that they have gluten free bun so they will make it with that if I want but I shouldn't eat the fries as it's not. I honestly loved that cuz that's tells me they care. She was very careful with everything I ordered and if she isn't sure about it she goes back just to the kitchen and check for me. Not once I saw her dropping her smile even though she had three other tables that have big groups. She was on top of the refills of the water and the drinks. We left with full tummies and happy hearts :-) The restaurant looks like a place from a dream that you are surrounded by candies. It's like a movie that you are a star or an extra in it :-) Enjoy it to the maximum..

Yelp
Seated, 40 minutes went by and no one came over. We got up and asked the host if we could see a server and another 5 minutes and nothing.... Place wasn't busy at all, Walked out, won't be back.

Yelp
Recently went here for my daughter 16th birthday and everything is over priced to start off with. I had reservations and told them we were celebrating my daughter birthday in the reservation but they didn't take the time to read it so I had to remind them. Very empty got there around lunch. Seated and got our drink order in about ten minutes of waiting. Once I drinks came we had to wait another 2O minutes for our food order. And then another 30 minutes for our food to come out. Everyone in there seemed to know one another and had their kids running around and laying around in the restaurant. The servers seemed more interested in their friends that came to visit vs paying customers. No candy on the opposite side of the wall don't understand why it's called a sugar factory. Best thing about this place is they made my daughter happy and the chicken and waffles were good ...the chicken was seasoned well. I ordered the Caesar salad it was okay and my husband got the sliders and it was okay. Worth the experience but I wouldn't eat here again. Please is outdated and worn out. Bathrooms are dirty and nasty.

Yelp
Sugar factory is a hit or miss ! Lol drinks are always good food is 50/50. Desserts are always good as well, but everything is overly priced. Reservations are highly recommended for the weekends. The vibe is really good though so it distracts you from everything else lol the show that you will get from all the birthday songs are Great! They let you pick a song from their list and a sparkler for I think $5-$10. If you're lucky you may get to see the show for the big boat ice cream that's like $100 ! They have both indoor and outdoor seating and you can watch them make the dessert on the other side. They have really cute picture ops so definitely get dressed and take pictures! Floors were a little slippery so be careful. Bathroom is only about 2-3 stalls so keep that in mind. I started to just come and sit at the bar. It is first come first serve and faster service and also the bartenders are AMAZING! Mike is my favorite Also kids are welcomed idk if they is a cut off time. The goblet / fish bowl drinks can be made both with or without alcohol!

Nicole S.

Yelp
Something is wrong with the food in this location, I went with my friends and all of us had diarrhea after eating from here. It odd cause it never happened before until we ate here. Mind you we are 3 different people and all of us had it. Definitely something to be mindful about. Service was good though.

Samantha H.

Yelp
The Sugar Factory used to be a great place, but now it feels so run down. Feels like a 2016 graveyard. They are in desperate need of a deep cleaning, with sticky floors, dirty bathrooms, and stained baseboards. The service was okay considering she was running the whole restaurant, but the food was extremely overpriced and not worth it.
google avatar

Shalesia T.

Yelp
If you come on a Sunday, especially after brunch be prepared for half of the menu to be sold out. No joke, when we went there was no chicken, no bacon, no shrimp, I mean seriously the list was endless lol but the dry ice drinks make for a great experience and I would highly recommend for a child's birthday or something similar. Our server was amazing, I only wish I remembered her name.

Rachel T.

Yelp
I don't leave many reviews but I have to for this experience. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left it was an amazing experience. Our server Shaniya was so attentive to our needs while we also watched her run around and sing to other tables as well as serve and set up tables. We never had to wait for anything she was on it. The food was amazing a lot of times with "gimmick" restaurants you loose the flavor in the food but not here! Everything from our drinks to our food was on point and everyone from our server to the managers made sure of it! 10 out of 10 would go again!
google avatar

Stefanie R.

Yelp
First time here, as we came to celebrate a family member's milestone birthday. Despite a full dining room and a crash of their ordering system, the staff kept the party going with their friendly and fast service. The food was great, very flavorful and large portions. The mimosa flight included the option to choose from a list of flavors and they are full sized drinks. For the birthday celebration, there is a song list from which you can choose and the restaurant will play your song while the waiters dance and bring your choice of dessert with a sparkler.
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
Next time you are at the Sugar factory you need to make sure you ask for Michelle! She is the best and amazing. Went there with family from out of town for the fun ambiance and who can't forget their desserts. Their drinks are huge and can easily be shared, be prepared to have a lot of fun and making memories.
google avatar

Rachel N.

Yelp
The food was edible, service was good very attentive, ambiance is like diner feel. It was my son birthday n the charge for dessert n you pick what song to play for your birthday

George C.

Yelp
11:00AM - And we were sat at a nasty sticky table, then we sat at another table, and again, another very sticky table... 3rd table... OMG! another dirty table??????? Who is the opening manager???? So the breakfast comes out, eggs ok, one small little sausage, no butter on bread? Absolutely horrible.
google avatar

Tatiana R.

Yelp
Food - Very good cheeseburger and buffalo chicken sandwich. Ambiance - Very poor as walls were scuffed, place was empty and candy shop was a sad joke. Service - Just OK as the waiter was too available then not available. Plus, he messed up order.

Damari C.

Yelp
This is a decent place with a lot to offer, but it does get quite busy, particularly on the weekends. To enhance the experience, it might be helpful to explore visiting during off-peak hours to avoid the crowds.

Alona P.

Yelp
I bought one each of the cupcakes: Chocolate frosting with vanilla cupcake, red frosting with vanilla cupcake, Cookie Monster frosting with vanilla cupcake All had wayyyy too much frosting and barely any cupcake. I gave it the benefit of the doubt. It wasn't something I will go back for. I also purchased a Cookie Monster donut which was also vanilla. I would have liked to have variety. Most of the candy on the wall was empty, the gift shop/ice cream shop looked run down. The worst part is they didn't even serve their to go cupcakes in a proper cupcake box. They gave me a styrofoam to go container. By the time I got home they were all jammed together and a mess. The taste was disappointing on all items. That is putting it nicely. The rest of the cupcakes will sadly be thrown out. Save yourself some time, and money and go elsewhere for something sweet.

Yelp
Probably wasn't the best idea to catch this place when they first opened or right at lunch, but the entire experience wasn't terrible. I wish to eat here again because the food was amazing. Our server Ricardo was fantastic and I feel like maybe all of us patrons that was in there caught the entire day staff off guard care. All in all I will be back.

Yelp
Another great experience here at the Sugar Factory. Our service was fast, food was great, and the party was going! My entire party enjoyed their meal and goblets! This has become a must stop while visiting Icon Park! We had a reservation for a large party and was seated within 15 minutes.

Yelp
We went to this restaurant because my daughter loves getting fancy drinks without alcohol. It was her birthday and she wanted to go here. The place was pretty empty when we arrived and we were sat right away next to the few tables that were there. No biggie as I could tell that they were short staffed so I am sure they were trying to make it easier for the staff. The bartender was waiting on several tables and the bar. I saw one other employee that I assumed was a server as she was waiting on tables. The manager ( I assume) was helping out running food and bussing tables. We got our drinks and waited a little while to place our food order. Once we ordered it took over 30 minutes to get the food. I looked over the plates and my daughters chicken looked burnt and the rest of the food wasn't impressive looking. Since it was her birthday I decided to not complain if she was happy. While eating we ran out of a few sodas and water. Since they didn't have much staff nobody was around checking on us. I felt like I would be bothering them. I finally stopped the manager and said can we please get some refills. He said yes and disappeared. He never brought the drinks and eventually when we were almost done eating the server/bartender came by and I said again can we please get refills. the manager came by and asked if we had gotten our drinks and i explained I think she was getting them. We finally did but it was once we were done eating. During the meal we saw someone get a birthday dessert with some type of sparkling candle and everyone shouted out for them. I asked my son to see how we get this for my daughter. He went to the host and was told it costs $5 plus the price of the dessert, unless we give a 5 star review on Yelp then the $5 would be waived. This was earlier in the meal so I had planned on getting this for my daughter an was going to give the service a 5 star review per the request. After the terrible experience I decided I could not give this place a good review but still asked my daughter if she wanted the dessert. It was such a bad experience that she said no and would be happier getting something at one of the vendors outside in Ikon Park. I asked for the check and noticed a "mandatory srvice charge (3.00%) added to the check. I went to the bartender to inquire about this. I assumed it was because I used a credit card but she informed me that this was somehting the restaurant charged to all guests and not because of my payment method. The nerve of this place to charge a mandatory service charge for no reason. I think the $40 non-alcoholic drink charge and over-priced food was more than enough to pay. I guess I was wrong. I do not recommend this place to ANYONE. The drinks and food are over priced, the service is terribly slow and they charge you 3% for no reason. Top it off any 5 star reveiw you see on Yelp are due to people getting the celebration dessert and wanting to save $5. They are buying positive reviews. It was a terrible way to spend my daughters birthday.

Yelp
Came in on a busy Monday before 4th of July. Reservations only for seating. Sat at the bar and Angelina took great care of us. I had the Signature Burger and .my wife had the Big Cheesy. The atmosphere was live all night. Makes me want to have a celebration at a Sugar Factory in the future

Yelp
Our server Erica was amazing!! The service was perfect...we came in with a huge group pretty late in the evening and they were kind, quick, accommodating, and SO FUN!! Highly recommend!! Such a cute, quirky spot!!

Yelp
Overpriced, overrated, but still a fun time to celebrate with kids. Very expensive menu pricing for mediocre food and mandatory 20% service charge. If celebrating a birthday, you can choose a song from a catalog that they will play throughout the restaurant to deliver your dessert with sparklers to your table. Servers will dance along to the song as well. If you're expecting 5-star food, go elsewhere. If you have a headache after a long day at the parks, go elsewhere. It is very loud inside and a small seating area adjacent to the candy store. Bathrooms were filthy. However, small children and teens were having a great time. Dancing, singing, clapping, selfies. They have backdrops for cute photos. The food/desserts are purely for aesthetic purposes. Your photos will look cool and you'll have great social media content. Staff are also incredible. Friendly and very high energy. I don't recommend this spot for everyone, but it's great for tourists celebrating a child's birthday.

Yelp
Ok food. Amazing staff and energy This place is for the spectacle and experience. Neither the food or the drinks are anything to write home about in-terms of quality. Both are adequate in the flavor department. Where Sugar Factory excels is the service and vibe. If you are looking for a dope staff that is fun and energetic this in the one stop shop. The plating and the presentation is where this establishment gets 10s across the board. Be ready for a VERY loud dining experience

Yelp
We came here for my son's 10th birthday. Staff was amazing and very attentive. We had Nacho as our server he was the best. . Place is clean and nice. And the burgers are delicious! Place was busy but we didn't have to wait a long time for anything. 10/10. Great spot, fun for any age. Oh and their bathroom was super clean.

Yelp
Another first time visit at a restaurant and I must say. The atmosphere was AWESOME, the birthday celebrations from different tables had everyone laughing, singing, and dancing with the music. The food was great the server took care of us, kept our glasses full and checked on us often. Our server was Zaire and she was the best server we ever had at a restaurant she was awesome! 5 out of 5!

Yelp
What a fun place! This place reminds me of an elevated version of a restaurant I used to go to as a little girl growing up in Southern California. It was called Farrell's. This establishment did not have the frenzied energy of Farrell's but it had the same fun environment and food offerings were practically everything had an element of dessert or pizzazz. Adjacent to the food area which looked like something out of Disneyland, they had two dozen different kinds of bulk candy that you could put into plastic bags and buy for about $1 an ounce. I ended up with gourmet malted milk balls and banana flavored Runts. I only wish they had twisty ties for my bags of candy so I wouldn't have to try to tie the bag in a knot. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Sugar Factory Orlando Icon Park for my daughter's Sweet Sixteen birthday. From the moment I booked my reservation to the moment we left the restaurant, the experience was a complete disaster due to poor communication, disorganization, and unprofessional service. I made a reservation a week in advance for a party of 17, asking all the necessary questions regarding policies, fees, and arrival times. The employee who took my reservation assured me that everything was set, with no mention of additional fees or strict policies. However, when I called on February 14 to confirm, I was blindsided by new information. I was suddenly informed that, due to high weekend occupancy, we could face a 30-minute to 1-hour wait despite our reservation, that bringing a cake would incur a $40 fee (which covers music, singing, and fireworks), and that if we ordered dessert from the menu, there would still be an additional $5 service charge. This last-minute revelation was completely unacceptable--had I known in advance, I would have chosen another restaurant that values transparency instead of springing hidden fees on paying customers. On the day of our reservation, we arrived at 5:35 PM, but despite 80% of our guests being present, we were not seated until 6:15 PM. Upon arrival, we were also informed that we had a strict two-hour dining limit, which had never been disclosed beforehand. Once we finally placed our orders, our food took 30 minutes to arrive, yet just five minutes after receiving our meals, our server handed us the check, stating it was "just so she wouldn't forget to give it to us." This was followed by repeated visits asking if we needed to-go boxes--while we were still eating! It was clear that we were being rushed, despite the manager I spoke to earlier assuring me that would not be the case. Adding to the chaos, the staff abruptly brought out the birthday cake without asking if we were ready. To make matters worse, we were told they could not provide plates or cut the cake for us, only offering to-go boxes. By this point, I was beyond frustrated. I requested to speak with a general manager, only to be told Sugar Factory does not have general managers--only managers. The final insult came when, at exactly 7:35 PM, we were told we had to leave because our reservation time was up. Some of my guests were in the middle of eating, while others were trying to order dessert, only to be informed that they were no longer allowed to place orders. I will never return to this establishment, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The lack of professionalism, transparency, and customer service was appalling. The only positive aspect of this experience was the manager, Megan, who was at least apologetic and waived the $40 cake fee, acknowledging that I should have been informed of the policies at the time of booking. However, one apology does not make up for an evening that was supposed to be a special celebration but turned into a frustrating and disappointing ordeal. I strongly urge corporate management to address these issues because this level of service is completely unacceptable.

Yelp
I want to start by saying I'm not generally a judgmental person. I generally give people the benefit of the doubt and have not had a problem with a lot of experiences others have found unsatisfactory. But when I reach my limit....I say this from the bottom of my heart, this place needs to burn to the ground. Worst experience ever. We go here for my son's birthday. Made a 7pm reservation. We get there at 6:59, they don't even have a table ready. They're talking at the host stand about how they're gonna shuffle tables around to make space for our RESERVATION. Takes about 10 min to get sat. Not the end of the world, just a bummer because we are super hungry. So hungry in fact that once we get seated and ask for waters, we've got our order ready by the time our waitress brings the waters back. We order grilled cheese for the kids, burger for myself, husband passes on food (I found out later it's because he saw some red flags already and decided he didn't want food from here). We order milkshakes too, waitress asks if we want to wait to get them after the food, I say yes since I don't want my kids crashing on the milkshakes then not eating the food. A few minutes later we purchase a birthday experience for my son. Alls well, we got our order in and are chilling. I'm giving the baby some puffs since she's hungry but I know I'll share my fries with her once I get my food, 3 year old is going a little nuts but she's hanging in there, just hungry. 9 year old is vibing. Husband points out some things that seem off about the place, like how no one is eating and how the chairs are really busted up. I had noticed the floor seemed really dirty but whatever they are floors. I take the 3 year old to the bathroom since I need to go and she's rolling on the bench because she's a mess, figured I could distract her from how hungry she was. We enter the jankiest bathroom I've ever seen. The cabinet is halfway peeled off with particle board sticking out, sink faucet so loose it's twisted and not even facing the sink bowl, trash overflowing, even nastier floors. Ok, I'm finally starting to think this is maybe is not so great of a spot. After about 30 minutes, we're all a mess. Everyone is hungry, so I'm like eff it, I walk over to where I see the waitress cleaning up another table and tell her to go ahead and send the milkshakes out. Ten minutes later one shows up, then my son's with his birthday experience, then mine. We start devouring them because it's 7:45 at this point. Waitress said she would check on the food, probably because I'm hangry af and am someone whose facial expression tells exactly what I'm thinking. I'm finally getting some mental clarity back since I'm eating something even if it's just straight sugar and realize that my kids ordered grilled cheese. Why tf is it 30 minutes later and we don't have grilled freaking cheese. After another 20 minutes, I get the waitress attention. She comes up and says the food is almost done. I tell her we actually want to cancel the food and get the check. She comes out a bit later with to go boxes of our food since I guess after an hour the f*cking grilled cheese was finally done (idk I guess they milked a cow and aged their own cheese in the back). She says they won't charge us for it, which is probably the only thing that went right that night. I eat some of the burger I ordered in the car and it was so nasty I didn't even finish it. We went through a drive through. Overall, waitress was fine but that does not make up for nasty food, dirty restaurant, and horribly slow service. Please for the love of God do not help keep them in business.

Yelp
We headed to the Sugar Factory for our daughter's 13th birthday, hoping for a memorable celebration. It was a place we'd been to several times before, with fond memories of clapping staff, a fun environment, over-the-top milkshakes, and the signature custom birthday song complete with a giant Roman candle. Our daughter doesn't like many places, but this was her one request. What we got was indeed memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. What we got was a playlist straight out of the early 2000s, heavy on rap and light on any sense of celebration. What we got was a 95-minute wait for food, despite being the only ones in the restaurant for the first 45 minutes of our 12 noon reservation. What we got, repeatedly, was a determined waiter trying to deliver something called the "Big Cheesy." We explained several times we hadn't ordered it--or even heard of it--but he kept trying to find it a home every 15 minutes or so as our meal arrived in scattered installments. His persistence was almost admirable. What we didn't get? Any Taylor Swift music, despite repeated requests. No signature birthday song. No clapping waitstaff. No Roman candle to mark the occasion. We could also talk about the two beers and two soups that never arrived during the excruciatingly long 105-minute experience. But at this point, that feels like a minor detail. The manager finally came out to defend the waiter, acknowledging the absurd wait time. He blamed it on our large party of 11, explaining that a week's notice for the reservation wasn't enough to prepare. As a kind gesture, he offered a 10% discount and waived the charge for the beers and soups that never made an appearance. I rarely feel compelled to write reviews, let alone bad ones. But this? This practically begged to be written. All 11 of us have contributed to the tale, and the phrase "Big Cheesy" has become the inside joke of the year. In a strange way, we did get the memorable experience we wanted--just not the kind we'll ever want to repeat. And now, wherever we go, we laugh and tease: "Do you think they'll serve us the Big Cheesy, please?"

Yelp
Loved everything about this location from the customer service, food and drinks. The Birra quesadilla was so flavorful the watermelon drink was delicious and tasted just like watermelon. The colorful burgers were so cute and my nephew loved eating them.

Yelp
This is another example of chain restaurants that just can't seem to do the basic bare minimum correctly to validate their worth. We came here today with my four year-old for his birthday looking excited and forward to the rainbow sliders. Like any normal four year-old this was all he was looking forward to. Tell me why on this particular given day they don't have anything that's rainbow colored at all, making them like every other restaurant. Not only that, we're sitting in there and it's less than 30° inside the entire restaurant, freezing cold. We asked the waiter if we could sit outside of course there's no outdoor seating. I really don't understand the point of this place at all and I truly hope it closes soon because it's such a waste of a trip for us have come out here. Piss poor service, freezing cold restaurant, and nothing that you want on the menu is even available.

Yelp
Atmosphere it's good if you are celebrating something. Ambience with loud music and desert with mini fireworks. Poor service, we were in 12 and they brought all food except the kids ones, took 10 minutes more. 3 plates were wrong and I ordered medium rare and got well done, after 15 minutes got another well done and gave up, eat well done. Drinks are crap, almost 50 bucks, they put aot of candy inside, so it's so sweet even sharing you won't be able to finish. That's it
