Small but meaningful, this museum interprets company‑town history and the Imperial Sugar legacy. By-appointment hours are noted by Visit Sugar Land; current city plans to preserve the Char House add context reported by the Houston Chronicle.
I had the pleasure to attended a beautiful wedding here! Loved the setup and how nice everything looked. Surprisingly cool wedding venue.

It's a small museum, just starting off on the right foot. They have now an exhibition about "día de muertos" presented by local families, a permanent Sugar Land time line and a few Imperial Sugar historic objects. I'm looking forward for more local history exhibitions.

Displays about Sugar Land history are well done, but the place is pretty sparse. There is space and potential I hope will be used in the future.

I went there to see the Chinese contribution to the Transcontinental railroad exhibit but was taken down earlier than it was posted schedule. I know it wasn't the Heritage foundation's fault but the exhibitors.

We went to the museum but the door was locked. A kind lady told us that you have to book TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE!!!! Not recommended.
