Sugar Mill Hotel

We had an excellent stay at the Sugar Mill Hotel. Beautiful rooms with ocean views and just the tranquility needed for a vacation. The manager Andrea was very hospitable and always up for a nice conversation. We would definitely recommend guests to go in for the all inclusive if you are just looking at quiet time at the hotel. Their meals are excellent at both the restaurants. We absolutely loved our stay at SugarMill and hope we can come back soon!

I wanted a short walk to the beach, laid back luxury tropical stay with a good restaurant and bar, a comfortable bed, working hot shower and cooling AC. We got that ++ some of the best service in the Caribbean. Had a perfectly relaxing stay and fell in love with this boutique hotel and its staff. They have an attitude here - and it’s HAPPY and committed to your enjoyable experience at Sugar Mill. My wife and I are so grateful to the entire crew for making our stay (and 11-hr commute) such a special trip worth every minute!

Our first Sugar Mill review was posted following a 7-Night vacation in March 2023. ||||We are blessed to have traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean and Yucatán Peninsula. So when my wife and I began discussing options for our 50th Wedding Anniversary getaway, we mutually agreed that the Sugar Mill was our destination! You’ve read the hundreds of reviews and stories and we can vouch that the 5* status is STILL for real! (American Airlines makes getting there much more convenient with 4 daily flights into EIS ~Beef Island). ||||Rupert & Andrea are wonderful Hosts and strive to go above and beyond expectations to serve their guests. We also took advantage of the “All Inclusive” plan for our 7 Day/Night holiday. The food & drinks at Sugar Mill Restaurant & Tramonti on the beach are over the top! Check out the menus on their website. Also, don’t miss out on the day tour around the island with Rupert and the boat trip on “Sweet Dreams’” with Cpt. Fiona and First Mate BJ to experience some awesome sea adventures, sightseeing and snorkeling!||||We also took Sugar Mill enlisted taxis for day trips to Smugglers Cove and Cane Garden Bay and thoroughly enjoyed their beautiful beaches! ||||My wife and I are delighted to be among the many repeat and happy members of the “SugarMiller Family!”

This was a one-night stop and what a sweet little spot. The service, the staff, this place is truly exquisite. The beach, well, it’s rocky with some waves so we lazed in their beautiful pool area and enjoyed the hotel once we were there. ||Lunch at their beach bar was amazing, warning, all food at Sugar Mill is amazing. Dinner that night was Filet for him and lobster for me, amazing. Perfect food, stellar service. Took dessert back to the room hoping for more space later in the evening, ate a few bites, again, what we had was just superb. ||Breakfast was included (again, a great breakfast!) and our ferry wasn’t until 3:30 (I thought it was earlier). A little drizzle, but nice area by the pool, complete with showers and an honor bar while we waited to head to the next island.

From the moment my husband and I arrived at the Sugar Mill we were warmly greeted with a glass of prosecco and welcoming smiles. The Sugar Mill is a beautiful and tranquil hotel right in front of the ocean. Everything about our stay was wonderful! The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our room was quiet and extremely relaxing. The staff were friendly and very helpful! The breakfast by the ocean was our favorite part of the stay. The food was fresh and very tasty. Service does take a little longer at dinner but the atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful so that made the wait a little easier. We felt very safe and even ran in the mornings along the road in front of the hotel. We loved watching the sun go down every evening in the hammocks on the beach. We would LOVE to go back to the BVI and stay at the Sugar Mill. WONDERFUL stay!

We spent two nights at the Sugar Mill Hotel before our boat charter in Road Town and are so glad we did! After the taxi dropped us off, we were greeted by Vicky, who ushered us into the bar and offered us a cold glass of prosecco - a perfect start to our vacation. We were shown our room and began exploring the grounds. The room was spacious, clean and beautiful - especially since the bed was covered in flower petals on arrival! We used the pool and had two evening meals at the restaurant — two fabulous meals! Breakfast at the waterfront restaurant was also very well done. The staff was friendly and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about Sugar Mill — we will be back!

We have visited many places, but this place is special enough to prompt me to write my first ever review. All inclusive package is well worthwhile as it includes airport transfers, land and separate sea tours and , course, all meals and drinks. No buffets here. Dining is truly gourmet. Kudos to the managers Andrea and Rupert and their friendly staff who make it all come together. We shall return to this gem of a place

We had a great experience staying at the Sugar Mill hotel! Rupert and Andrea really made sure you felt at home and had everything you needed. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner several times and loved it every time! The food and service were amazing. Our room was beautiful and we loved all of the recent updates. We will definitely be back!
