10/10 would buy from this store again just because of their attention to detail. Look at this packaging! Love. I purchased the Christmas cards through the years book. It arrived within days and was perfectly wrapped - not a scratch on it. Highly recommend and will be a returning customer from Texas!

I recommend. One of the best places I've ever been in this regard. Salesperson Juliana is highly attentive and knowledgeable about the products she sells. It's worth going to the website to see what they do, and it can help to make our lives a special touch.

So impressed with this store and their customer service! First of all, their paper products are lovely and high quality. I bought several items, including a small notebook. When I got home I realized it was slightly damaged. When speaking to them on the phone they were apologetic and immediately shipped me a new one, no questions asked. I'm so appreciative! Super cute store. I bought the Christmas Card Book where i can put all of my family Christmas Cards throughout the years.

The two girls working there were super friendly and helped me pick out these cards. The cards they sell here are pretty simplistic, they're nice, and a lot cheaper than I had expected. What makes this sweet is that this store is pretty much in my backyard, so its is super convenient for Brentwood locals to get some unique cards.

Haven't seen a stationary store like this in quite some time. Came here to get a batch of holiday and thank you cards. They are cute, simple, and stylish. It's nice to find something unique and give a thoughtful message to someone. It's that human hand written touch that gets lost sometimes in this technology age. If you like high end specialty stationary that you won't see elsewhere, this is your new spot! It's nestled in the Brentwood Mart Farmhouse, one of my favorite places since childhood. Will be back over and over whenever I am back in my old stomping grounds in Los Angeles!

Ok so their stuff is obviously cute and beautiful. Everything is special and custom order. Its great for showers and weddings. If you want to make someone feel special here is the place. However, you need a sugar daddy to shop at sugar paper!! I mean its just invites and candles for crying out loud. Believe me I splurge and have non problem spending. But enough is enough. So if you have major first world problems this is def the place for you!

love this little shop. needed some cards for the holidays and they had a great selection for family and colleagues alike. i personally really liked the fact they only allowed one customer in at a time, so it felt really clean and safe. the girl working the shop was really kind and helpful, jenny. another bonus was parking at brentwood country mark is free right now, don't have to deal with the validation which is nice. thank you!

I have an absurd crush on Sugar Paper. I really love Thank You cards. I think that they are the sign of a well-raised human being. It is hard to find hand-written letters or cards from anyone anymore, and I feel that Thank You cards really bring it back. So whenever I hit the Country Mart, I always hit Sugar Paper and get new Thank You cards. Every card they have is gorgeous, thick paper, letter-pressed. Packaged boxes of cards run about 12 to 15 bucks for 8 to 10 cards, which is a great price for what you get. They also make their own cards, invites, etc. to your specifications. Amazing. I want to have a special event just so I can special order!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I went here to buy a cute card for my husband and I fell in love with EVERYTHING in the store. I would suggest this be the FIRST place anyone goes to buy a nice card for someone you really care about. The cards, stationary and accessories in the store are a tad overpriced but truly every piece makes me feel warm and snugly inside. Hanging on the wall they had macaroon wrapping paper for $4.00 and it was so pretty, I just wanted to buy it and frame it and look at it everyday!!! Since Valentines day is coming up the store was decorated in all pink and red with hearts and valentines cards everywhere!! I can not say enough times how girlie and classy all the items in this store are. Its a true pleasure to shop here!

Sugar Paper is my absolute favorite stationary store in Los Angeles. It is located in the Brentwood Country Mart, amongst high-end stores like Christian Louboutin, Calypso and Jenni Kayne and great eateries like Farmshop and Sweet Rose Creamery. Sugar Paper sells a diverse collection of stationary sets, individual greeting cards, event cards, candles, pens, pencils and desk accessories. They sell their own lines as well as other curated brands. I frequently visit Sugar Paper to buy greeting cards, or art prints for my house. My favorite greeting card brands are definitely Emily McDowell and Sugar Paper's in house brand. The cards at Sugar Paper range from elegant to humorous to trendy and chic. You can find something appropriate for any occasion, and I oftentimes find myself buying cards and gifts for events I don't even know about yet. Overall, it is a great shop inside a lovely shopping and dining area. I highly recommend going to Farmshop or Barney's for lunch and then strolling around stores like Sugar Paper.

I was so inspired by the amazing customer service experience that I felt absolutely compelled to write this review. They were out of an item that I was looking for and wouldn't likely have it back in stock for a few weeks. After quickly letting me know about this after my order (while processing the other items), we emailed back and forth on any recommendations. They wound up sending me another item (that did cost more) for no additional charge. I was more than happy to pay the difference. It's rare that you run across a company that is so concerned about their customers' satisfaction. They've created a customer for life from this experience and a strong advocate to others to do business with them.

I was looking for a unique and classy card for my daughter. I did not want to give her a card that I could find in the local drugstore. The website caught my attention. I saw a card with the perfect caption on the front. I wanted a blank card so I could add my personal thoughts. The envelope had gold polka dots on the inside. This card was perfect because my daughter loves polka dots. The store is quaint and charming in a lovely area of Brentwood. Joy was helpful, pleasant, and very sweet. I came just before they closed and they were out of stock. Joy took my number and said she would check if their studio had any in stock. I received a call by 10am the next day stating that the manager picked up my card and that it is in stock. The card and envelope was a very heavy card stock which also made it unique. I will definitely visit Sugar Paper again!

Beautiful products, I love their wrapping and stationery so I stopped in one Friday afternoon to see if the Christmas wrapping had made its way in yet. There was one other customer in the store, which isn't very big. After I walked through the entire store without being acknowledged by either one of the two salespeople, I decided not to purchase anything and went to Paper Source. It's a shame because I work in the area often and shops in the Brentwood County Mart are known for being neighborhood stores with warm service. I never even require much, I usually know what I want but to not be greeted in such a small space is just awkward.

My most favourite store! Everything is so adorable. Love the charm of this store. I go there maybe once a month to buy there adorable cards, always a hit when I give them to friends and family! Must check this store out!

Really cute cards! They make a lot themselves which is amazing. They carry good card brands just beware for buying the items cute but you can spend way to much too fast and it's kinda sad everything carried is made in China cheap cheap cheap!!! Support Locally

I love the products available at sugarpaper.com. Their quality and customer service are excellent. It is a treat to open their shipping boxes and see items adorned with bows and a lovely letterpress thank you card. Very classy and I think a good value considering the high quality of their products. I also took advantage of their sale last month to stock up on a view gift items.

I have been looking forward to coming here for while, just finally made the time today. The shop is small but very cute with a lot of work from talented artisit. I hate being the person to say this but the girls there were so stuck up, sorry. Not once did I get a hello or how are you or help. I just simply didnt even get noticed...I felt bad vibes once I walked in. Everyone uppedy and stuck up...have to say I was really disappointed...

This is my heaven. They do LETTERPRESS!! The stationery gods should bow down to this place, they have so many gorgeous fonts and designs and colors and I could go on and on and on, because I LOVE stationery in a way that is probably not healthy at all. The salesgals were super sweet, and when I told them that I was trying to pick out some stationery for a friend and needed to send photos for "mom approval" they were completely wonderful and let me snap away. Yes, these types of cards can be pricier than your 99 cent grab at Ralph's, but honestly, if you're going to take the time to write notes and thank yous (and we all should, especially the thanks yous!) wouldn't you want it to be absolutely beautiful? A handwritten note is so rare these days that it should be a little bit of magic in an envelope, which is exactly what Sugar Paper offers.

I love this store!!! When you walk in you want to buy literally everything in there. Everything is just so well crafted and beautiful. I feel like when I send someone a truly beautiful thank you note, they probably enjoy it just a little bit more. If someone gives me a gift, I want to give them something back that's really nice. The cards they sell are just...wow. Also, when you order things from their website, they have such nice packaging with a ribbon tied around everything and they write you such a nice little handwritten note on beautiful paper! They really have the details down. It's the little things that keep you coming back to a place and I'll always be a customer!

My favorite stationary store on the planet! It is perfectly curated with everything chic! They have the best card selection and small gifts and I was so inspired that I had them create a collection for my store Unplug Meditation. This place is hidden inside the Brentwood Country Mart and a beautiful discovery.

so a minor obsession with the yummier things in life and it's no wonder that i'm in love with a place called SUGAR PAPER (first the one in century city and then this lil' shop in brentwood). besides the store being super cute and carrying the wittiest cards (recent purchase read, "sometimes, you get stuck the lime popsicle" for a friend needing a little encouragement!), i adore their unique designs for custom invitations and personalized stationary. i just ordered my friend's bridal shower invites and couldn't get over the selection (from classy/elegant/simple to romantic/pretty/whimsical). i know she's going to love them! and last, one favorite reason to come to SP above anywhere else is the incredibly helpful, creative, DOWN to EARTH customer service (you know how so many little stores in LA can have bratty salespeople?! i just hate that!). not here! these gals are just sweet (naturally)...

If you long for the feeling of letterpress on your fingertips, this is the spot for you. Beautiful, minimalist cards, stationery and custom invites are what you'll find. It ain't cheap, but you can bet anything you buy will scream "hey, I'm CLASSY". Need a hostess gift? Maybe some lovely monogrammed cards. Most designs are simple, so you can easily find something for the "other" sex. Hey, boys need to write thank you notes too! You can't go wrong with Sugar Paper.

I like this company's products but the customer service is subpar. I had a package shipped 2 weeks ago and it never showed up at my door. I emailed customer service (there's no phone number to call) and the customer service rep took 2 days to respond. She didn't offer any ways to help such as shipping a replacement package or giving me a refund. After telling her that I thought they could do better with their customer service, she told me they would reship my package to a different address and cc'd her shipping manager. It's now been another week with no response and no package. I will not be shopping the online store in the future. Just a word of warning, it would be easier to buy their products from big name stores such as Anthropologie.

It's unfortunate that excellent customer service isn't the "norm" for businesses nowadays. But this experience would still rank above excellent in my book. My girlfriend sent me a photo of the Sugar Paper Instagram account and told me how much she loved this place and would love to visit sometime. I went to look online and found a journal for her for Christmas she'd casually mentioned in her text. I ordered the journal and afterwards looked at the FAQ. I realized two things, I could've had my gift wrapped, and secondly, that, my shipment wouldn't be arriving when I had anticipated and so I sent a message through their website not expecting to hear back. Meredith completely wowed me when she responded within 30 min. with a remedy. She completely refunded my purchase and attached a photo to prove it, and then gave me her word that my order would be shipped out today! I re-ordered with gift wrap and the UPS Select 3-day. Sure enough I received an awesome follow-up email from Meredith saying she saw my order and it was going in the mail and that she hopes my girlfriend and I will come visit next time we are in LA! So cool! Very very thankful and impressed.

Gosh I do not agree, do employees or friends write their reviews? I have bought their products at a small boutique, a pushover for their French phrases. Cute enough stuff, I'm a big Rifle fan and Sugar Paper seems to be copying them. After practically living at the Brentwood Country Mart for Luxxe, Farm Shop, Diesel and the adorable post office, I was surprised to find their tiny shop on the way to the rest room. Ever get the overwhelming feeling that you're suppose to feel privileged to be in someone's space? I can't pin it on any one specific staff member cause every time we're in there, it's another cookie cutter looking sorority sister with the same uppity attitude. It's like a culture of undeserved entitlement and condescension which can only come from the top down. You can just tell they're praying for that celebrity to come in to buy something so they can tweet and "gram" to the universe. Get over yourselves Sugar Paper. You are hardly the only game in town and many great paper stores in LA don't even carry your cards. In a pinch I can always buy great Rifle cards at the Luxxe cafes that I frequent daily. And speaking of which, a customer ahead of me in line at Luxxe in the Mart made the same uppity comment about your store as she was picking up 4 Rifle cards with her coffee and pastry. You know the saying, here today, gone tomorrow?

I am never disappointed with the selection that Sugar Paper LA (Brentwood location) has to offer. They have many unique and beautiful cards. I always go there first when I am searching for cute new stationary or cards for friends. I love the Sugar Paper brand but they also carry other favorites, such as Rifle Paper Co. and Belle & Union Co. Their prices are comparable to Papyrus or Paper Source, but their selection is far more unique. Definitely check this place out if you love cute stationary.

I would love to give this store 5 stars, being that it's my gf's absolute favorite store. Unfortunately, the store manager Katie is never welcoming. It's such a pretty store but her attitude does not compliment it. I usually don't write reviews but being that I have been exposed to such an unhappy employee, I felt the need to let the owners know that she is just unpleasant and unfriendly. We still end up coming back and always buying because the items are beautiful and chic but she def leaves us with a bad taste on more than one occasion. If I can compare the feeling to anything it would be equivalent to being w in the office of your high school principal.

This company is rude and ungracious toward their customers. They don't reply to their emails trough their website. Also their stuff is super over priced. For example, their desk collection is obscenely overpriced. $120 for a letter opener? $70 for a ruler? lol...

I'm so impressed with their customer service! I reached out after placing an order to add two cards (and secure free shipping). Meredith offered to update my order, but it accidentally shipped before they had a chance. Without my asking, she offered to send me the cards at no charge. Beautiful products and even better service.

Amazingly cute stationary and cards. Pretty pricey but not that much more if you're buying from Papyrus or Paper Source. I could honestly spend hours in the store and buy everything if I could afford to.

Not only do they have superior merchandise, but the owners are amazing. I live in Northern California and she lives in Brentwood. She loves everything Sugar Paper. I I ordered a few things for my daughter. Upon receiving them, I had a few concerns. I felt the wrapping paper color was more orange than "pink" and I must have ordered the wrong color; could I exchange it for pink. I also had purchased a foil print; it came unframed and I knew my daughter would want it framed; again, I must have ordered it incorrectly. I told them I would look into getting it framed up north. They responded to my e-mail inquiry very quickly and pleasantly. What a nice surpise!! They told me they would be happy to refund me for the wrapping paper, but that was "their pink." I told her, "Well, if that is the case, my daughter will love the pink. She is a huge fan of SP and was actually just first in line at the recent warehouse sale." Meridith knew exactly who my daughter was and even knew her by name! I feel that businesses that get to know their customers is hard to find. SP went above and beyond in their customer service and their e-mail correspondence was so pleasant! I am now also a Sugar Paper fan and will support their business as much as I can.

I absolutely love this brand! I discovered Sugar Paper a couple years ago and have been hooked ever since. I especially love the collaboration they do with Target every year because it's more affordable. SP is a little pricey in general but I can't help spend my money on their cute stationary! I've been to their store 5 times now and was a little disappointed with the girl who was working at the time. She wasn't very friendly which kinda bummed me out but everyone else I've ever encountered at the store has been so friendly & helpful. I can't wait for my next check, gotta buy more SP x Target's Christmas collection! I've already bought three SP for Target planners... I couldn't pick just one!

This is a love note to Sugar Paper. Adorably cute yet modern and extremely well laid out, this is a paper lover's paradise. The absurdly good customer service will leave you happy you dropped by and you'll pick up lots of great ideas while you're there. Tops.

Great store, great selection! It may seem pricey, but I've spent $4 or $5 on one card at CVS for a crappy card. The quality is impeccable. It really adds a sincerity when you're giving someone a card. Will keep coming back!
