We were in the neighborhood and decided to stop in. We are very happy we did. The place was clean and very efficient in their process. They have a pretty straightforward menu and you have to order at a screen. The employees are around for questions. We ordered the following: 5 jumbo wings - Garlic Parm - Declicious ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 jumbo wings - BBQ - Pretty Good ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 jumbo wings - Thai Peanut ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tender Combo w/ fries - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The fries are different - but so yummy and seasoned. Total was $32 or so. Bathrooms were super clean.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would definitely visit again.

Surprisingly good! Wasn’t sure what to expect coming here for takeout. The name & look are very deceiving & don’t do it any justice. Honestly, the food looked so unappetizing & everything hot was in packaging that made it all sweat. BUT wings were great! Coleslaw was even better—creamy & vinegary & not too sweet. Would’ve liked more options on the menu & it was like a ghost town in there :( Would’ve also liked any interaction from an employee. I didn’t see or hear anyone till my order was ready & they called my name to pick up at back counter. Dining room was clean & modern & you’re able to place your own order using the self-serve POS as you walk in. I was impressed & we’ll definitely return.

Very Nice experience. Friendly Staff, helpful. The food so so good. Husband & I both ordered the Sugar Chicken Sandwich n Fries. Chicken was crisp, nicely seasoned, tender, juicy. We had ranch for the fries. The fries are to die for. Fresh crisp seasoned perfectly. Tried to other sauces. Very clean. Staff came by a couple times making sure we didn't need anything. Food did not take long to get. Price reasonable considering they are about the same at other places. This was well spent and worth it. We will be going back.

Fantastic wings! All their sauces are made in-house. We tried the Carolina mustard, orange habenero, Chipotle honey bbq, and PB&J. Our favorite was the Carolina mustard. We also bought the cilantro slaw, and we're not happy with it. If you like a taco inspired slaw, that might be your thing... it wasn't ours.

First visit to Sugar Wing was a pleasant surprise. I had been running all day and needed something quick to eat. Stopped in figuring it would be just ok. Turned out to be a fantastic stop. The chicken sandwich with the cilantro aioli sauce was fantastic and the service was great.

The outside was clean and walked in to a clean building. Smell like fresh food nth old. Was greeted properly with a smile. Food came and was delivered with a smile and do you need anything. But to make matters even better the cook CARLOS 💪🏾💪🏾 he made me give you guys the 5 STAR FASHO.. Buddy came from the back and did a full check up on the guest n had the 10 sec conversation didn’t over flow it. If he wants too you may wanna have him do a shift FOH on busy days..GREAT JOB CARLOS U STOLE THE SHOW 💯💪🏾💪🏾

Went here last night for the first time. I walked into the open room and wasnt super busy so it was nice and quiet with plenty of seating to go around. Colorful murals and a chill atmosphere, that's how I like it. I ordered a simple chicken sandwich and fries and I was thoroughly impressed with the flavor and serving size. The chicken was tender and the "honey sauce" that they used tasted great. I think I'm going to just go down the menu trying everything. I will note that the fries blew me away. I loved how they're cut. Almost "chip" like. Crispy and salted perfectly. I will definitely be coming back. If you're in the area I'd give this place a try.

I just had an incredible meal at Sugar Wing and I’m already planning my next visit! The French fries were absolutely perfect — golden, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and full of flavor. My Nashville hot chicken sandwich was a knockout: the perfect balance of heat and juicy, savory goodness, with every bite bursting with flavor. And the wings… wow. Hands down the best I’ve had in years — perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with mouth-watering seasoning. Everything tasted fresh, made with care, and served hot. Let me just tell you how impressed I am with the food here. This place is so cute and always clean the 2 times I've stopped in. The people working are always very nice. 1st time I ordered food Togo for my family and I. I ordered the 4 Blue Buffalo Wings Combo with comes with french fries, a soda and a cookie. 2nd time I dined in and ordered the same thing but changed my combo to 6 Wings. The fries are basically thicker warm potato chips which I love. The Buffalo Blue wings are amazing and I'm a huge WING fan. Can't forget the cookie which I love also.

The food was great! Quality ingredients, decent service (counter service), and cute inside. Sadly, they discontinued a sauce that was still on the digital menu board (not updated) and I had a few questions about the business they couldn't answer. I highly recommend their signature sauce on EVERYTHING. Their fries are good, too! They were like petals.

Why 2 stars? Food was just ok and this is a newer restaurant, so maybe there is time for it to grow and get better. Customer service was good. The young man that took our order was very pleasant and familiar with the menu. And since this was our first time we had questions. Hubby an I stopped here for a quick dinner to go, and it wasn't packed just two tables with guests eating. There was no line and our food didn't take too long. We ordered 6 Buffalo wings, 6 of the chipotle bbq wings, chicken tenders, and dip em fries. The wings were just ok. I would have liked them to be cooked a bit crispier but I didn't ask, so I got them how they normally cook them. The tenders were ok. Again, we like our food a bit on the crispy side, not burnt, just cooked. The dip em fries were not a favorite and if we go back, I don't need those again. The restaurant was clean, and its boot a large space, but can fit a good crowd if needed. Week definitely ask for my wings to be cooked well done next time.

Sarah was AMAZING and the food was absolutely great. We will return again soon. This place is a hidden gem.

Great quality. Fast casual places usually aren't this good. We did sandwiches and two different flavors of wings. My personal favorite was the lemon pepper it's unlike any I've had and it was incredible. Service was on point. Give it a try

Love this place 5th time here and it never lets me down! Unique flavors for the wings and they just revamped their menu. Everything they make is good and cooked to Perfection. Great service very attentive they love your feedback. Nice music not too loud great for lunch and dinner love the ambiance! Their tenders and sandwiches are also very fire! And again they have unique flavors for their wings I got the Jalamango this time. Highly recommend

The Basics: Sugar Wing is a chicken focused fast service restaurant located near Publix on Anderson Road. The menu features chicken sandwiches, wings, and salads. When you enter the restaurant, you order at the counter and wait to pick up your food when it is ready. Things I like: We enjoyed all of the items we tried when we visited Sugar Wing. The Sugar Bird sandwich was very good and we particularly liked the Dip-Em Fries. We also liked the Chopped Salad and Mac and Cheese. Everything tasted fresh and the quality of the food was very good. Things I didn't like: When we visited on a Friday evening, there was no option but to order your food at a computer kiosk. There were no staff members at the front of the restaurant greeting customers, answering questions, and taking orders. All staff members were in the kitchen. This made it particularly difficult to try to customize an order if the option was not presented on the computer kiosk. With the restaurant being so new, it would be nice to have someone at the front of the restaurant so customers can ask questions about the menu and get assistance while ordering. Overall, Sugar Wing is a nice addition to the Carrollwood area and we will certainly return.

It's crazy how this place is so close to me, I just live around 4 minutes from here, I know this place has been open for a short time, but I don't understand how I didn't try it before, they don't have a huge variety of flavors but the ones they have are amazing and very unique. We tried the PB&Jelly, the Carolina Mustard, the orange habanero and the sticky soy, all 4 flavors were really good, but my personal favorites were the Carolina Mustard and the Orange Habanero, they were both so gooood! I am coming back for sure to get them. We also ordered Mac and Cheese and Fries on the side, and the fries were my favorite thing ever, they are crispy on the outside but soft in the inside, I just love when they do fries like that. Place looks very clean and new, that makes the experience even better. Guy on front was very nice, but I just love that you get to ordered everything by yourself in the self ordering station.

This is in the previous Willie Jewels location if you're familiar with the plaza. Sugar Wing is absolutely AMAZING! I've now been here twice and they've been amazing both visits. It's a walk up and order establishment. They have 2 touchscreens available for ordering. They also have 1 register should you like for staff to place your order. They are efficient and the food is out fast. And it's hot and fresh. The sugar bird sandwich comes with their special sauce which has a slight kick to it but it's so good. The chicken is juicy and tender. The batter isn't thick so you're getting a nice piece of chicken. The fries are thin cut and so freaking good! Lightly salted and just plain good. I got the Carolina mustard wings. The Carolina sauce is so good and my fav. The wings are tender and juicy. The chicken almost falls off the bone when eating. They have plenty of indoor seating available and they keep the place super clean. Self service drink station. Management has also walked around the 2 times I've been here checking on guests. A must try and you'll be addicted!

Enjoyed our lunch at Sugar Wing. We came on the third day it was open. They opened this past weekend on Friday for the first time with $5 combo meals. The choice was chicken fingers, 4 wings, or a chicken sandwich. It came with a side of your choice which we picked fries(potato wedges), and Mac and cheese. This also came with a refillable small drink and a cookie. Our wings we ordered were sticky soy and pb&j. I liked the PB & J more than the sticky soy. They had a hint of Peanut butter flavor and the jelly was like a red pepper jelly flavor or a sweet chili sauce. Both were great. I loved the fries more than the Mac and cheese, but both were tasty and dipping the fries into the Mac and cheese was like a cheesy fries. Had the blackberry lemonade which was a good and different! It was very busy, but it didn't feel like people were cramped together. With all of the customers, they were very organized with getting the meals out, and there is a screen to let you know when your order is coming. I would love to try the rest of their options here especially the salad which looks great! Here you will order on the computer, but there are a bunch of people working if you have questions.

This is my first visit here. I wanted to try the chicken sandwich, and maybe some wings. Clean and nicely laid out... plenty of room. I was greeted immediately by the very friendly staff. I place an order for a Sugar Bird sandwich, and some Blue Buffalo wings (4 pc.). Also got a small drink. Filled my drink cup with a combination of unsweet tea, and lemonade (arnold palmer). It was good. I tested the sweet tea before doing that, and WOW... way sweet! Typical for FL! :) They delivered the food. Sandwich looked really good, as did the wings. The sandwich was delicious... the sauce was good, pickles were on point, and the chicken, REALLY good. It was so hot, I had to wait a bit to eat it. And biting into the sandwich, the chicken breast would squirt hot juices... lol. Messy but delicious! Wings were ok... I should have not been so lazy and got up to get some salt, that would have helped a lot. I would eat both the sandwich and the wings again.. might try different flavor for the wings. Service was awesome... exception even. Lots of smiles!

About 4.5 stars. Today grand opening has a promotion 5 dollars combo really make a sweet deal like it store name - sugar coated. I enjoy the meal here and we order 7 combo meals. Love it and the left over take home for TV games night. The wing is highly recommended. It is definitely a plus to buy them with different flavors. Can wait for the future with additional flavors. We got the sticky soy and PB& Jelly wings. Those are very delicious especially the PB&J wing. Highly recommended. We also got angry birds, naked bird and sugar bird sandwich. I think the sandwich is kind small. Did not try the strip. May be next visit. The drinks include sweet tea, blackberry lemonade and regular lemonade. I like the sweet tea. I am not sure they use cane sugar but it tastes good. Overall is good visit. The promotion run until Sunday. Go get it.

Absolutely delicious!!! Pretty pricy but the wings are phenomenal! Very flavorful and crisped to perfection. Can't go wrong with any of the sauces I think. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy and rich. It reminded me of Panera's Mac & cheese. The service was fast. You order at a kiosk when you come in and pay there. Then they call your order when it's done. Overall, I'm very impressed with this place! Great spot

Cool new spot to grab chicken sandwiches and wings. Decent size sandwiches at great prices. The wings are big as well and have 4 piece and 6 piece options. This gives you liberty to mix and match options. It's a kiosk service and didn't really see anyone except when I picked up the food. It's small and quiet. Overall I enjoyed the experience and will definitely go back to try the other options.

I was excited to try this place because it had pretty good reviews. However, today I ordered a sandwich with NO wahsabi on it and it was covered in it. I am sure I will try this place again but not anytime soon.

Came for lunch today and was completely impressed!! It is a fun, casual ambiance and you saw smiles on the faces of all the customers there. The line was really long, but totally worth the wait. You walk up to order. There was someone who could take your order or some machines where you could place your order on your own. I used the machine and it was very user friendly and made it very easy to order. I ordered the three chicken strips with a side of mac and cheese. I chose the cilantro crema dipper sauce. The chicken is lightly breaded and has a great flavor. It was so moist and tender. The dipper sauce was fantastic and so full flavored. The mac and cheese was also so good. I can't wait to come back again soon!!

Great grand opening event! The wings are delicious. The fries are divine. The variety of sauces are endless. I'm happy to have a new wing spot in Carrollwood!

Stopped in here today for lunch. Today is the third day of their grand opening and the place was packed. While we were n line waiting to order we saw several of the chicken centered dishes and they all looked amazing. At the front of the line there was too order kiosk and one human taking orders so the line went relatively quick. You then go wait for your order to be filled. They have a tv screen where you can see where your order is in the process. Considering how full the place was the whole process went relatively quick. In spite of how busy they were every employee that we encountered was helpful and served us with a smile. Someone even came by the table to ask us how our experience was and if they could make any improvements. Then we got to eat. We both got the strips with a side of mac and cheese. We also got to choose a dipping sauce. I got the curry and the wife got the garlic aioli. Both were great but I think I will go with garlic next time. The strips were fresh and tender with the perfect breading and flavor for days. You almost didn't need to dip them at all but we are not quitters so dip away we did. Then there was the Mac and cheese. It was so yummy i'm still thinking about it The ambience was casual and relaxed. Some folks were dressed up while others were casual and in flip flops. Everyone that we encountered seemed to be enjoying themselves and eating amazing meals. I am so glad this place has opened up and is so close to our house. We certainly will be back.

The food and service was unreal! I could not recommend this place more for some tasty wings. My personal favorite was the PB & J wings and you can't forget a side of fries!

We ate here on a Sunday around 1:30. It is a counter service set up. They call your name when it is ready and you go pick it up. There was a small wait to order but they had two screen kiosks and one regular register. The kiosk was very user friendly with pictures of the food. The restaurant is new and obviously very clean. It has plenty of indoor seating. We ordered the atomic chicken sandwich. The chicken filet was a nice portion and juicy. It was very spicy! The peanut butter and jelly wings were fabulous. Perfect blend of sweet and salty and sticky. We also got tenders and they were moist and pretty large in size. The fries were cut thin and they were perfectly crisp! The Mac and cheese was very heavy, it tasted good but the sauce was very thick. The sweet coleslaw was excellent, I think it had pineapple in it. The malt vinegar aioli was a delicious dip for the fries. The mighty Quinn's bbq was amazing as well. The ranch was superb. The food only took about 10 minutes. The service was friendly. Overall, a very solid meal and I would definitely eat here again.

Wings were on point sauce was good not overpowering good flavor. Sugar chicken Sandwich was very tender however, I didn't like the sweet pickles but sauce was good and tangy. Tenders had a flavor on the breading very tender and gochugang ranch was flavorful. Fries were different but really good like a curly steak fry. Service was great employees walking around asking if needed anything and very helpful. I would recommend and will return.

This was a surprisingly good wing place! The sauces were great. I especially liked the wasabi and orange habanero. The wings were well cooked. We also got plain chicken tenders to sample the sauces. The pb&j sauce was good but would not recommend the honey buffalo. Overall, very much enjoyed! Looking forward to trying one of the sandwiches. P.s. have a sugar cookie! They're very good.

This is absolutely my favorite wing joint. We ordered take out for about 10 people & they nailed it. We have also had catering to our office, which they did great with. Their fries are delicious - these little shaved things. I can't explain. And oh my gosh, you must try the PB&J sauce! Highly recommend.

First time eating here, I'm just going to live it here, this place is a bomb! I'm giving you guys a 10 out of 10, I had the fresh and go sandwich and even though I'm not a fan of coleslaw, the meal was top notch, tender, juicy and flavorful and not to mention the sauces. Wow.

The chicken here is very fresh and juicy! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is fun inside! I want to try all the sauces because they look fun. I've had the cilantro crema, curry aioli, malt vinegar aioli, and pb&j and they are all out of this world. This is my new favorite chicken spot!

Came here to check out the wings. The customer service is really friendly and helpful. He recommended the pb & jelly wings and the So fresh & So green sandwich. Loved the sandwich because of the coleslaw and the sauce. The wings were good but I would like the skin to be crispier. Maybe next time I would get the sauce on the side. You can make the wings a combo meal for extra $3.50 but not the sandwich. Loved their take on fries because it looks like potato wedges but it is slivers of potato. Will definitely be back for the sandwich and fries.

Service was crap. Skinny brunette working the bagging on 3/20/2025 at 6-630pm needs better customer service training. I was sitting there waiting and not once did she think perhaps the order sitting there for 10minutes could be for the ONLY customer in the restaurant. Not once did she care to acknowledge anyone who walked in. Amazon delivery guy had to attempt multiple time to get her attention.

Wings: Okay Fries: Good Blackberry lemonade: Interesting Service: I ordered on a screen, paid $15 for a 6 wing meal and only received 4 wings. Meh Worth a try, hopefully you have a better experience.

We only went once when the restaurant had a grand opening special. It was busy, a bit chaotic but we enjoyed our meals. But we don't support businesses that don't accept cash.

I ordered take out tonight at Sugar Wing. I was excited to try it. I ordered the Angry Bird which is their spiciest chicken sandwich. It was very salty and difficult to finish. I then tasted the Sugar slaw that came with the meal. It tasted spoiled and not fresh at all. I also ordered their honey buffalo wings which were actually not that bad. Overall, I was disappointed. I will try to go back to try their other chicken sandwiches, hoping they have a better taste.

I stumbled up on this place and I'm glad I did! Great service, great food! My husband and I made a whole meal out of the naked wings, chopped chicken salad, and macaroni & cheese for under $30. I ate the fries in the car ride home and those were great too! The manager let me try almost every sauce and majority of them were great to me especially the cilantro and green goddess. The blueberry lemonade wasn't my favorite, kind of had an after taste. We were too hungry to take pictures first but I definitely will next time.

Been a few times since they opened. Food was hot and came out pretty quick. The honey buffalo sauce is awesome! Wings are on the larger side so the portion sizes are very fair. Would highly recommend this local spot for a quick bite!

I went because of the special of 3 chicken strips, fries, cookie and drink special at $5.99. We'll worth trying. The best chicken strips I've had. No sauce needed. Better than PDQ. I'm impressed but Carolina sauce and cilantro sauce really good. A sweet sauce is better with strips but like I said no sauce required. And their tea. Awesome i got sugar slaw too and that was tasty I've be2 times now

Had a great first experience at Sugar Wing. The Tenders, Fries and Naked Chicken Sandwich were all great. Service was great and the ambiance was really nice. They have a drive-thru. Can't wait to try the wings.

This place is great! I tired several things off the menu and they were all worth getting again. The best thing I tried was their Carolina BBQ sauce; that alone is worth a trip to this place. The tenders are more like cutlets and the breading is similar to a catfish fry; not too thick, very crunchy and flavorful. The wing sauces are all inventive and delicious. The staff is very helpful and willing to answer all your questions. I would highly recommend this place!
