Sugarbox Donuts

I usually just come to get doughnuts, the specialty ones but I came to pick up a "Too Good to go" box this morning and the staff was really so attentive. Every person working who saw me standing there asked me if I had been helped, which I had. I've worked in restaurants for years and I'm starting a food business from the ground up and I am very understanding yet critical of service and Sugarbox employees are always very friendly and patient. The Too Good to Go box was mostly glazed which is awesome for us and there was also nice variety of "cake" style doughnuts. Very happy with my purchase again. Thanks guys. 😊

Wonderful doughnuts and awesome staff!!! It's ny second time here and I bought a boat load of doughnuts and the employees are so kind and upbeat. We got some for our house and some as a gift so I really appreciate everything that was there. I'm being sent back early Monday morning so we can get some again for the folks in my Mom's office lol.

Our son loved his cake! It was so cute and delicious! They’re so fairly priced. It was a three tier donut cake! Update 2025 - we order every year and have ZERO complaints. We love their product and their customer service is amazing. Highly recommended.

Great donut shop! The server was awesome, explained all the options we had. The donuts are a work of art ! Awesome for parties and occasional acts of kindness! The place is clean and cozy. I didn't see a restroom.

First time here having just moved to the area. Very nice workers. Very cool selection of regular and specialty donuts. Their breakfast sandwiches are really good too, though the croissant is way better than the bagel. Great job! We will return

My Bestie and I were craving for Boba Iced Tea and we stopped by this cute little donut store. We both are matcha lovers. So, we ordered Matcha Iced Tea with Boba. We requested the Iced Tea to be made with stronger matcha (less milk), easy ice & less sugar. The lady made the Iced Tea just right to our likings! We were impressed by how she made the Iced Tea. We were also enjoying the atmosphere. The interior and the knick knacks she put around the countertop and all the cute donuts & cronuts in the display were so tempting! We were full from a big lunch. We will definitely go back for more Iced Tea & will try the cronuts & donuts. PSssst!! She made the donuts & cronuts with potato flour!! Come check the goodies here!! The store is clean, organized and well taken care of. Lots of free parking space. Located across from Ralph's on Sherman Way.

Why have I not been to this place yet??? This cute little store tucked along shoup and Sherman way welcomes you with a display of tasty looking donuts. There were so many here but we got the half a dozen deal that comes with 6 free donut holes! The front desk workers are helpful and friendly. We got the classic apple fritter, creme brulet, rasberry filled, Reese's, cookie butter donuts. All of them are great, tasty, and satiating! The creme brulet and the cookie butter cronut were easily the highlights! The creme brulet topping actually felt so real! The cronut was absolutely out of this world, the crunch and flavor packed a punch! At around $2-5 per donut, it is a little pricey, but so worth it. We will definitely be back!

Came here today and I have to say the donuts were pretty good but I do have to say they do not taste like a normal traditional doughnut they do leave an after taste. It's not a gross aftertaste. It just doesn't satisfy that donut craving like most mom & pop donut shops tastes like if that makes sense. Ordered the Mojito iced tea. The girl said it was sweet, but it was not sweet at all. Honestly wasted money and just throw it away so that was very disappointing :/ The staff were really nice and the place is really clean. The donuts are super cute and it's definitely a cool experience but if I want a traditional doughnut, I'm gonna go to a basic mom & pop shop wasn't a big fan of the aftertaste! But this place is definitely worth trying!

The place is super cute, clean and fun. The donuts were really uniquely decorated. Sparkly mermaids, pumpkins, etc. we came mid day and the donuts weren't that fresh. But most likely because it was later in the day. Friendly staff.

The employee was super sweet & the store had a whole lot of variety. The donuts tasted amazing, I went basic & got the maple donut. I also did try the Ferrero Rocher donut & that one was delicious. You can definitely feel it fluffier & a slight bit thicker since it's made out of potato dough. The decorations were cute & fit the aesthetic of the store. Definitely will be coming back again.

Came a little later in the day so the selection wasn't as strong but can't go wrong with a delicious glazed twist and maple old fashioned. Cost was a little over $4 and both were delicious. Place is bright and clean. Service was nice. Can't complain. I'm generally a hole in the wall donut place guy but can't go wrong with something a little more fancy like sugarbox.

Such a cute location!! All of the donuts and drinks looked amazing!! Alina was amazing, She was so sweet!!! We got a Thai tea and a matcha! The Thai tea was so refreshing and good! The matcha was actually so good too!! The texture of the einspanner matcha latter was like a cloud I loved it!!! I am so excited to try our box of donuts!! GREAT service and food will for sure be back!!!

They have the cutest donuts on hand everyday. if it's a special occasion and you need something cute, this is a great option. Everything is always fresh. We've custom ordered birthday donuts a few times and everyone always raves about the taste and looks. Outside of donuts, they have cronuts and cream puffs too. I highly recommend both.

My friend told me about Sugarbox Donuts, so naturally I rushed in! It's an adorable upscale donut shop and as soon as you step in you feel that amazing energy and you won't stop smiling! Their sign says home of the bonut which are their boba filled donuts!!! I'll check those out next time! Their selections are some of the coolest I've ever seen (check out the photos) and literally it is a donut sugarbox wonderland! They also have the regular options (which I've heard have the best glazed and regular donuts in town)! I opted for the pistachio creme filled with chocolate and pistachios on top...and from the first bite I was hooked! The textures are amazing...crunch of the pistachios, slight crunch of the chocolate, perfect amount of creme filling and the donut itself was amazing cronut (croissant). It was so generously sized and filled it could easily be shareable but I think I wouldn't share it at all HAHAHHAHHAHA! It's a family owned restaurant with friendly and fun staff! If you're looking for the best donut experience...this is the place. Plenty of parking and you can dine in or on their patio. Ps they also have breakfast items! Thanks Sugarbox Donuts! You rock!!!

My friend wanted a doughnut and this was his request . My first in person visit of SD. ( owners used to be spudnuts on Roscoe and Topanga's). Evidently they had to use a new name. Inside and outside seating. More space outside. They have more than just doughnuts. Not a huge selection, but they had what I wanted apple fritter . Pieces of ! Yes, better than most places. Service was good.

It's the most amazing and yummy donuts in town, they are made with potato flour and fresh everyday with great service.

I don't come here often but I should! I was craving a decadent donut and this is the only spot I could think of nearby and it def did the job! I tried their Dubai chocolate donut and it had chocolate bars inside! It was so filling and the bars added a nice crunch texture rather just cream filling. I don't like it too cream filling. Then tried their maple cake donut which was just right. Small but so fresh.

I love their creative donuts! I always get their super yummy cream puffs with cream! Super grateful to be able to try the other flavors today with the toogoodtogo app. Fast and speedy pick up!

When it comes to donuts, I am a purist and will continue to support my local mom-and-pop donut shops around the corner. However don't let the bright lights and pink neon turn you away from Sugarbox because this is a family owned business offering a great selection of donuts and breakfast foods. Sugarbox Donuts is located inside a shopping plaza in West Hills at the intersection of Sherman Way and Shoup. There's plenty of free parking and an outdoor patio to sit down. Coincidentally I stopped by Sugarbox yesterday for a ham and cheese croissant ($6) and I was able to meet Cindy. From the moment she said good morning, Cindy was beyond kind and so personable. She also recommended for me to return on Election Day with my "I voted" sticker so I can redeem a free donut which I did without hesitation. Thank you to Cindy at Sugarbox for helping me get my last two days started with positive vibes. It also doesn't hurt that these donuts photograph really well!

I ordered a giant donut for my son's 10th basketball-themed birthday party. Cindy called me the morning of the party, to confirm what I wanted as well as pick up time. When I arrived, my order was ready, it was exactly what I'd asked for, she was SUPER nice and friendly, the store is cute and clean and she even gave me a discount since what I requested was so simple. To top it all off, I had some of my son's birthday donut and it was DELICIOUS!!! I will be back sooner than later!

Nothing too flashy about this place, nor their food. Their hot breakfast options are made to order, fresh. And the doughnuts are good quality. The service is always quick, no complaints at all. And it's very welcoming, especially for parents and kids that may be on a day date.

The donuts here are very creative with the different designs and flavors. It's not your regular local donut shop in the neighborhood. Instead, they make themed donuts or fun looking donuts. Not only are they pretty, but they also taste great. Of course, they are a little more expensive than your neighborhood spot. There are tables inside if you want to enjoy your food there. But I think it's worth a try if you are in the area.

TGTG order. The donuts were dried and hard. The glazed were all melted and flaky as seen in the pic. We tried to eat them but they were inedible. I'm sure they were more than a day old. Will not get again! What a waste of money and time!

I've had these donuts at work and I went to visit the actual location last week and I got the blueberry donut and it was so delicious!

We have absolutely ZERO complaints about this spot. Easy ordering, great service, and amazing product. We're shocked every time and keep coming back year after year. Thank you guys. We love you!

WOW! Ok these donuts are amazing!!! i am a donut lover but my pockets are not that deep! Definitely not an " every Sunday morning" kinda donut shop (or for some with deeper pockets it might be). I would have given it 5 stars however the friendliness of the gal helping me left a lot to be desired!!! In my opinion they need a bigger sign or something cause it's hard to see from the street. But like I said GREAT donuts!

I had custom donuts ordered for my son's birthday and it came out so nice! Everyone enjoyed the donuts. They are a bit pricey, but it taste great! They are also great with customer service. I would recommend ordering it for special occasions. I went there to see the regular donuts ..the prices they are definitely more expensive than other donut shops. One donuts cost about $4. I like that it's made out of potato flour, it was soft and chewy!

Sugarbox was extremely helpful when I call Ed requesting cronuts. They said they had four left and I asked if they would save them for me as I'm coming from about a half an hour away. My friend in town from Utah has never experienced cronut and I wanted to give him that experience. The cookies and cream cronut was incredible. Can't wait to go back

Super cute with yummy donuts. Ordered 2 dozen in advance and they were fresh and ready for pick up and everyone loved them.

I tried their donuts for the first time after finding them on Too Good to Go. I was really excited to find a new donut place but was soon disappointed. The first thing I noticed was the glazed twisted donut because all the sugar was melted off, so we skipped that one. We decided to cut a few to share and it was hard cutting through them. All of the donuts were dry, so we ended up throwing them away. Unfortunately, I will not be going back.

Went in and only 3 trays were available. Not SHELVES, trays... asked for a cinnamon roll. There was only a single one there, I asked if it was fresh and was met with "we bake our items fresh daily". It's stale as shit and I'm disappointed.

The food and beverages tasted amazing. The customer service in the store was amazing. The ambience is cute, my first time Walking into sugar box, I left satisfied with everything.

I was at physical therapy a few doors down and decided to get a breakfast sandwich to take home. OMG, it was fantastic!! Egg & bacon cooked perfectly &I added tomato. And who knew they had spicy mayo? It was amazing!!! I'll go back.

Really delicious and fresh donuts! Not excessively greasy like other donut shops, and they were just as fresh the next day. I ordered a couple dozen for a birthday party and other than a little mix up with the price that was given over the phone, but was graciously fixed by the owner at pickup, everything was great and I'm super happy!

I give it a 4 star for the customer service they are always so happy and friendly. The donuts are fluffy and unique but can tend to be more on the epensice side for some of their donuts and juicess. But their coffee is pretty good. The Maple Bar is the favorite here

Just went there earlier today and had one of the best long John donuts covered with chocolate I've ever had... better than the chocolate donuts of my youth from Dunkin' Donuts. I also like their ice lattes very good as well. Clean atmosphere and the store looks like it's set up to family friendly.

This place has gone completely down hill! I tried ordering donuts for my sons birthday. We do custom birthday donuts yearly- they didn't respond for days, but when they did proceeded to tell me it's a dozen to order custom ( never had to order a dozen but ok that's fine) I come to get the donuts and they didn't even make them! It's just awful, my 2 sons always gets these every year. Def don't order from them, you won't get your order. I hate making an awful review but I don't want someone else's kid to be sad when they don't get something they thought they were getting.

Super cute fancy donuts along with the classics. This bakery is a really nice addition to this kind of weird, dated strip mall. The employees were so friendly and the shop is small but has a very fresh, bright, and cute design. So many donut shops are drab and depressing inside. There are a couple small tables to sit outside, but no seating inside. Big free parking lot :)

They make very cute decorated expensive donuts. If that's what you are looking for, this is the right place. They are nice for special occasions. The donuts are made with potato flour so they gluten free but this unfortunately changes the texture for me. I ordered the traditional donuts- chocolate raised ring, jelly filled, etc. I prefer my usual place for donuts. I came in the afternoon and their seasonal Halloween donuts were sold out. Recommend coming in the morning if you want the fancy donuts. They did still have some of the character donuts- unicorn, mermaid, spider-man etc. if you want decorated donuts, this is the place for you! Decor was cute with pink and aqua. Seating inside, outside and a side patio. The girl at the counter was nice, answered my questions and got my donuts.

I really like the donuts here. One of my friends doesn't care for the potato flour but you can't please everyone. The cronuts are amazing! Maybe a little pricey but prices are going up everywhere. I've gone every week for over six months.

Pretty donuts and a cute shop! Stopped by here to check it out. I noticed it is very inclusive with the Hanukkah-themed donuts. Unique in that potato rather than wheat flour is used. I do appreciate that gluten-free donuts are specified. I tried a don't and yes, it is delicious. A little sweet for my taste. The only true downfall are the prices. Prices seem exorbitant, but may be worth it if you really can't have gluten.

Donuts are fine, coffee is fine. Nothing special here. Coffee tastes like Vietnamese coffee so it's strong and sweet. Donuts are good. It's fine, nothing special compared to any of the other donut shops in the area

This Sugarbox donuts donuts are made with potato flour, which gives them the perfect texture--light, fluffy, and just the right amount of chew. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. I've ordered from them a few times for my kids' classroom birthday parties, and they always impress! The special occasion designs are super fun and creative--huge hit with the kids and the parents. Definitely my go-to spot for something delicious and unique.

This was a delivery so I do not know about parking or bathrooms. They have gluten free donuts!! They are more Cakey, and the plain one tasted like a mini Bundt cake but it was delicious! I had the maple bacon, blueberry and plain donuts. Although the plain one was "glazed" there was no glaze. Which was fine it was perfectly sweet but just a heads up! I also got their matcha and it tasted like real matcha with no sweetener not the goop they use at Starbucks. I mean I do wish they had boba for their milk tea option but I was super happy with the matcha. I love that it came unsweetened. The donuts were a perfect sweet compliment.

My go-to spot when I visit my SIL in the area. Friendly and patient staff!! They always have a few donuts that have cute designs along with the original donuts. Don't forget to also pair with a cup of coffee!
