The Best Airbnbs to View the Total Solar Eclipse

"You’ll get perfect panoramic mountain views at this upscale condo on the west side of Sugarloaf Mountain. Built in 2021, this contemporary property offers even more than views though—step outside and you’re within walking distance of ski trails, the shuttle line, and the golf course. The open floor plan includes a stocked kitchen, dining area and living space, smart TV with streaming services, and gas fireplace. Families with children will appreciate the bunk beds in two of the four bedrooms. With nine beds ranging from a queen to a pull-out sofa, two families or a big group of friends can comfortably vacation here and enjoy this scenic 2024 event. A mudroom is a nice added touch to hang wet sports gear and leave winter boots."

We love it here, we hadn't been back since Covid and|we thought we'd try it again.|We've stayed at the hotel before. The atmosphere at the hotel|is very cozy and warm. When you check in they give you a delicious |chocolate chip cookie.|We had our breakfast in the hotel every morning before we went skiing.|The staff is really friendly, efficient and the breakfast buffet was delicious.|If you want to get the best of the breakfast go early. |We like the rooms and my husband enjoyed the large hot tub. We|ate at the Widow maker and The Bag and Kettle. I'd recommend both places.||The ski conditions were excellent when we were there.|Hope to return!

Very friendly and polite staff. The room was spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable and clean. There is a corner for cooking and a small dining table for us to sit down and eat. We also had free breakfast in 45 North, the onsite restaurant. It was a pleasant experience. Though it is so warm and there is not much snow, we are still enjoying our stay here.

Check in was quick and easy and the young lady at the desk was professional and courteous. The room was clean but showed some age and wear especially in the bathroom. The bathtub has deep scratches worn in the enamel that they painted over and the paint came off as soon as the faucet was opened also the tub faucet is leaky. The beds were clean and comfortable and the only other minor complaint is that the hvac unit made a loud tapping sound throughout the night which I was able to live with. Not really a good value for the price paid but satisfactory overall.

We have been extremely impressed with this hotel, it has been a very nice place to stay for the weekend. At this point, we've visited most of the best ski on ski off properties on the east coast, and this hotel is right up there with the best places we've stayed for a east coast ski trip. The rooms are nice and clean, the lobby area is great, loved the restaurant within, and you absolutely can't beat the location of this hotel, which is less than a two minute walk to the lift. The Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel is also a bargain compared to the ski on ski off hotel options in Vermont. The only critique I have would be to change the locks on the ski lockers as it would be much easier to get in and out of them with a key instead. Other than that, we couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough!

The resort was beautiful and the front desk people were very help full and friendly. My only problem was is that it was advertised as a 4 season resort with a lot of activities but most of them were not open or open for very limited times which meant we had to travel to do things

If you want to splurge then stay here. It is expensive but worth it. The rooms are very nice and so is the hot tub. I also really like the restaurant 45 North. The breakfast buffet is out of this world delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I’m stayed here for a week on business. Ski season had just started but was not a hindrance to my stay. The best thing about the hotel is the cleanliness of the rooms and the staff. Kristin at the front desk took great care of me and my reservation from the get-go. Valet parking is awesome and worth the cost in the snow. Two days I had to get my car early in the morning and the valets brought my vehicle to the front entrance the night before so it was ready for me when I left for the day at the crack of dawn. |Only negative was the lack of hot water and the brown tint to the water…..not sure what that was about, but it took me 20 minutes to get hot water each morning in the shower and sink.

The place was amazing. Came from Boston and the day was wrong. Front desk took care of it right away. Also my girlfriend could not ski the next day so she was able to get an extended check out. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. The staff , location, and breakfast was all perfect

Yelp
The staff here is amazing! I especially love the front desk staff. Kristin rescued me this week when my phone got wet, and I tried to dry it out in rice...a piece of rice got caught in the charging port so I couldn't recharge! Crisis! She calmly add patiently loaned me her personal flat-top charger then she took the I give and cleaned out the port by blowing in it! She got out that damn piece of rice that was clogging it up! She saved my life. I cannot live without my phone! Thank you, Sugarloaf staff, especially Kristin!

Yelp
Alright, so, I struggle with the rating for this hotel because although there are soooo many positive aspects, there were a few things that put a damper on our trip. Simply put, here are the pros and cons; Pro: beautiful, ski-in/ski-out lodge, direct access to the Sugarloaf village, large hot tub outside that overlooks the mountain, not too unreasonable price wise (not cheap, but you are right on the mountain with amazingly close parking) and charming vibe Cons: the check-in procedure is insane. They won't let you check in until 4pm on the dot. I totally understand if they are still cleaning the rooms, but if the rooms are clean and ready to go, just let people check in at like 2 or 3. During covid, it makes zero sense to have a line of 15-20 parties all waiting to check in at the same time. We had a small baby, and there were also several old people checking in. It just seemed asinine to create a policy that goes completely against all common sense during a global pandemic. Anyway, other cons were; the room was so tiny (which isn't horrible, but there were barely any clothing hooks, shelves or drawers to put stuff in-- and who doesn't have a lot of sh--t when they are on a ski trip!?!) and the housekeeping was pretty invisible (I'm fine with not getting room service during a pandemic, but can you at least pick up my trash and give me some towels!?!). So, obviously the pros outweigh the cons, but, the cons did take away from the comfort of our stay. However, I did have a great stay. If I return, I would just come an hour or two later to check in (if it's during covid), and I'd splurge for a larger room.

Yelp
So it was out of season and they were doing upgrade when we stayed. I would also like to point out that the weather was extremely hot for that time of year. In saying that I was highly disappointed with the quality if the rooms. My room was dirty, paint was peeling, the window was full of flies. The pillows and tones were very comfortable. When I got to the room it was 82 degrees F and a.c. was not working finally at about 9pm for my room and a few others it did work. The employees were friendly for sure and the food was wonderful. I was expecting more from the hotel itself concidering I was at sugarloaf mountain. If you want a beautiful view every night the scenery was wonderful. Thanks for the attempt.

Yelp
We stayed here over the weekend for business. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like I was at home. Bonnie greeted us and seemed so happy to see us. Whenever we left we were told to have a good day, or see you later, or have fun. Whenever we came back, we were greeted and asked how our day was. When away on business, it feels so nice to know someone truly cares about your day. Spencer was also extremely helpful. I forgot my ski pants at home and he tried to help find me a pair. When he had exhausted all options, he ended up sending me to a place where I was able to buy last seasons ski pants for less than half of the original price! All of the staff were great, but these two stuck out to me. Thank you for making me feel at home!

Yelp
Great place. Ski in, ski out.wonderful stay, ski in, ski out. My only criticism is that there is not a lot of hotel guest parking.

Yelp
This place is like a small town. Besides great skiing, they have many restaurants, stores and a 40 person outdoor hot tub!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stayed two nights at the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel in March and will be coming back! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We arrived early so we could ski before checking in and they still offered us valet parking/hotel guest parking. There was an issue with the lock on our locker and they just lets put our equipment in their VIP room instead. It was great to finish up a long day of skiing and then head straight up to our room. We were pleased with the room accommodations and recommend the breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant 45 North. Great hotel for a ski trip with great service and accommodations!

Yelp
These guys do it up right: You drive right up to check-in (avoiding the skier lot parking) and they handle everything from there: valet your car, handle your luggage up to your room, issue you ski lockers for your gear and you can even purchase your lift tix at the front desk. Rooms are very nice and clean. Plenty of room, even in the "standard" room. Fridge, sink and micro in the room we had. Ask about any special rates to see if you can save, since it is not cheap to stay. The trade-off is the convenience of a chairlift just outside your door and all the amenities you need without leaving the mountain. Sugarloaf skiing is among the best in the Northeast so it is worth it. Love the Loaf...

Yelp
My girlfriend and I spent a long weekend here and were more than pleased. We had booked through Expedia, and then decided that we wanted an extra day. Because of booking twice, we were booked in two rooms, meaning we would have had to change rooms. Scott at the front desk changed this without an issue. Everyone was more than accommodating which made our stay perfect! They even opened the 40 person hot tub 2 hours early just because we wanted to use it. From Scott and Billy at the front desk, to Greg in maintenance, to Beth at 45 North (the hotel's fine dining restaurant), everyone went out of their way to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. We even had drinks with the president of Sugarloaf! We will definitely be going back!!

Yelp
Very nice hotel and room, however the temp in our room was 85 and they didn't offer to move us even though the hotel was empty. There were also a lot of flies in our room, strange for October. Needless to say we didn't get the best sleep. I would consider going back if the heat/air problem was fixed.
